Lots of room, generous checked luggage policy, great airline.
As expected not overly done nor less of comfort and services. Only it was confusing that I had to move from international terminal to Domestic terminal due to first transfer was with in Domestic airport.
I have purchased Japan Airline to travel but unexpectedly I had to deal with American Air for half of my flight. God help them please. It was hell from start to finish. Japan Air, I feel sorry for you that your alliance with American Air.
Check in was fast, the staff was helpful and nice. Simple streamlined process
The website was pretty bad functionality wise. It took me 2 hours and a couple phone calls to be able to online check in for my flight in advance. Then during my trip I was trying to look at what costs and fees would be associated with changing my flight and extending the trip. The website was hard to navigate and offered very little information
The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The food is superb. Although, our trip is long it doesn't seem like because of the great service.
Jenny was the most wonderful flight attendant in Business Class! She checked on me constantly and made sure I had everything I needed.

Weather system on the way down, but the pilot and first officer were tops
We left Chicago close to 6 hours late and they didn't bother to put anyones luggage onboard. So we arrive close to 6 hours late and no luggage so we have to wait in line to fill out paperwork to have our luggage located/delivered along with everybody else who had checked baggage. That can not be a cost effective way to run your business
The crew was super attentive and cordial.
United Airlines has really deteriorated. Paid entertainment for an international flight is really nickle-and-diming it, especially since it was direct tv which is only available over the continental US!
Delayed flights leading to incredibly tight connection times, staff inconsistent with messaging re the source of the delay, zero compassion for customers, offering $700-$1,400 to get off the plane when you charge $200 to change a flight 2 weeks in advance is especially galling! Will not fly with United again whenever there is a viable alternative to my destination.
