Because I felt quite comfortable, I slept five hours straight during the flight which is phenomenal to me. I will definitely fly with JAL again!"

Cons: "We had a last minute flight change to extend my business stay in Asia. Our firm contacted JAL on 3/1 to extend the return date from 3/3 to 3/8. We were told that it was done and just call back on 3/7 to confirm flight. When we called back on 3/7, they said the flight was never rescheduled and could not find a voice recording of the request. Despite our offering of evidence of our other ticket from Osaka to TPE (3/3-3/8 round trip) showing that it was not a no-show, and we have phone records of calling JAL on 3/1. Nevertheless, their customer care center in CHINA was firm that it cannot be done. The money has been wasted. Ridiculous service for a 3,500 business class ticket."

I love it how they had Korean traditional foods and American foods for the choice! I had 2 free bags checked with 22kg for each which satisfied me. Also I brought 2 small carry on bags. The only thing is the English of some servers were not really good. Sometimes they didn't understand what customers said. But I think it is just fine"

Cons: "On both flights my party of 2 was split, despite an early check-in. We were lucky enough to swap seats because ANOTHER family was also split between us on the first flight. On the second, 3 parties were all split in the 3 rows in front of us, so we had to shuffle 4 different people before take off before the majority of the people were sat together. On 10 hour flights, generally I feel parties shouldn't be split unless they're checking in later than we did."

Cons: "It was very hot in the cabin. We were told that it was airline policy to keep the cabin that temperature. There is no way to adjust the temperature yourself. Also the chicken entrees should be avoided. If given the option chose the Korean meal."

My next flight with Asiana to the US from Korea encountered another problem and I was further delayed another two hours, with another two hour layover in LA. The cabin crew was friendly, but not very useful. They provided food, but no help. This is the worst Star Alliance airline I have ever flown. I will not be a returning customer."

Cons: "Asiana Airline allowed a drunken passenger sit next to me. Everyone can smell and knew that he is drunken. The 1st thing he did after sitting was drinking alcohol from his pocket. Yes, one of the staff came to him and got the drink from him. But, he talked me for about 4hours nonstop and made me uncomfortable at all. Other passengers around me saw him because he talked too loud. I expected that they would offer me another sit and left him alone. During 10 hrs flight, I had 2 Tylenol capsules because of the smell of the alcohol from him. It was REALLY hard time for me to sit next to him during 10 hrs. DO NOT ALLOW A DRUNKEN PERSON TO GET ON A PLAIN FOR OTHERS."

Cons: "Our flight from HK to LAX we were told that the pilot refused to wait for us even if we arrived in HK from cebu at 11:35 of July 29 and our flight to lax was at 12:05 .Cathay couldn’t do anything about it. We were billeted in a hotel far from the airport with free breakfast but no lunch was provided and the earliest flight they could give us was scheduled at 16:35 of Juy 30. Upon returning to the airport I asked a cathay staff regarding provisions for lunch but I was told there’s none.Overall our trip both to and from LAX were very uncomfortable and inconvenient. I hope Cathay will do something better in situations like we encountered. As of this writing I and my husband are still at HK airport waiting for our flight to LAX."

China Airlines screens are VASTLY superior in their hardware, their speed, and the quality of their UI. And running an ad before EVERY movie --- in business?! Inside the crew food storage/service area looks old and dirty. I can see the area from my seat."

The in-flight service manager made me believe she cared about the quality of the service in the back, which was outstanding. It was as good as a full, 13-hour flight could be. Even the in-seat entertainment was outstanding and reliable."

My outbound flight LAX-HKG, the dinner salad included shrimp. I explained i could not eat the shrimp. The attendant was kind enough to swap it with a leftover vegetarian salad."

I attempted to call in to Cathay to explain I could not have shrimp/prawn. The rep either did not understand or could not help. I really wished Cathay offered a pre-arrival meal like the other airlines. LAX-HKG and HKG-LAX are 13+ hours. Cathay offers a departure meal and a mid-flight meal. But by arrival time, I was starting to get hungry again. Thank God, I had enough of a layover, even with CBP processing, to grab a quick bite before continuing an additional 6-hours to home with no time to eat."

And one of the flight attendants was aloof and snappy."

I arrived at the Airport 2.5 hours before my flight and reported to my gate 45 minutes before my flight and was not allowed through. They then were extremely rude to me when I was in the process of finding a new connection and made me buy a brand new ticket for the following morning as the penalties for rescheduling would cost more than buying a new ticket which was 1200 USD!! They insisted that this warning was on their web site and would have been on my ticket had I got it from their website. Since I purchased my ticket from Kayak.com, that was my own problem. They then showed me a warning label on the baggage claim slip that they gave me at check in but this was only in Arabic with NO ENGLISH translation provided. More importantly the representative who checked me in to my flight never told me about needing to be at the gate 1 hr before the flight. Throughout this whole process they were unapologetic, unsympathetic and rude. I met two other people that same day who had the same problem one of these passangers arrived at the gate 1.5 hrs before her flight and still could not get to her flight in time because of the inefficient customs and immigration process that the Emarati's have in place in an attempt to mimic our process in the US. This is a very bad policy which only Etihad does. If you fly through Dubai with Emirates they do not require this nonsense. The Etihad staff were rude, unhelpful, unapologetic and inefficient. Never fly from Abu-Dhabi to the US with Etihad. On the flight, as the plane came to a stop at the end of the runway but still needed to taxi in to the gate, people started getting up. Instead of calmly explaining to people what was going on, one of the stewardesses waved it off and said well when we start moving again or if something happened they will just DIE then! This was not the only occasion I was disgusted by the staff. I woke up on the flight and couldn't find my glasses and the response of one of the stewardesses was "can you ask someone else to help you, I am on my way to take a nap and if I stop to help you I want get my full rest." This airline is one of the worst in the world if not the worst. I will never fly with them again and I am considering sending these stories to a NEWS network to raise awareness on this issue. Their staff don't care. They seem to be overworked and burned out. They only get one day off when flying to New York and back when by law they are required two. This shows that they are abusive to their staff which then leads their staff to have have horrible customer service."

I was lucky enough on this flight to have a row to myself so I could spread out."

Passengers were urging to be served so they can make it to their connecting flights not knowing they have been already selected not to board those plains. Voices were raised and demands were made to speak to the supervisor. It was chaos. I made it to the agent shortly after the gate to my flight had opened. I was shocked by how the agent lacked empathy when he informed me I won't make it to the connecting flight because it had been overbooked. Not an apology or even sir! I was forced to be rerouted which stretches my 25-hour trip to 33 hours. Then the connecting flight gets delayed more than an hour resulting in missing the second connecting flight. Now my trip has become a 41-hour trip, I missed a day of work that's worth more than double the value of the voucher Etihad gave me and lost one day of unscheduled vacation. Etihad even damages my bag that had servived more than 10 flights. I will never fly Etihad and strongly recommend against flying with Etihad."

Its 3 hours flight and peak time to sleep since you are awake for most of the night time on Airport. If you sleep, and miss dinner, you have to wait long for another food since there is overlay of 4 hours @ Abu Dhabi. Also there is only one snacks center after US immigration center, so not much options to eat. Another problem is, flight from JFK to LA is 6 hours flight (JetBlue) and they do not serve food. They have less options to eat and its all chargeable. I was not feeling very hungry at JFK so did not have anything on Airport, thinking that there will be food in flight... but my guess was wrong. Better to eat something either in flight or before taking flight because it reach to LA at 10.00pm and you come out by 11.00pm outside the airport. Just a tip for whoever not aware. :) 2. The crew member (young boy) in my flight (Date: 13-Jan-2016) EY 101 was not having god body language. Not good hospitality and each time he was serving food as if he is doing a great favor. I would say, if you are not interested in this kind of jobs, please look for some other job but don't let down your Airlines reputation."

Cons: "we came on jet airways from abu dhabi. jet room was worst than domestic flights. i do not how i survived for 15 hours flight."

Cons: "I changed my food to non veg instead of vegetarian ok"

Pros: "I was on a flight from Paris to NYC yesterday Jan10 -EY3026 or AA121 - that was canceled without a reason with no prior alerts. On top of it the bags are missing till now. This has been the worst experience I have had so far on any flight."

Pros: "Very clean, bathrooms kept up for the long 15 hour flight."
Cons: "The food menu listed three options, one was vegetarian. When the cart came around, there were no vegetarian meals left. Instead of apologizing, as these things happen, the flight attendant told my traveling partner and I that we should have specified for a special meal, that vegetarian was special (even though it was offered on the menu as a regular choice). She was incredulous that we would not eat meat, stating that they had plenty of chicken and fish options, as if my vegetarianism was a fad or I was a child. Instead of simply apologizing for the gaff and offering us something else, she seemed put off and bothered that we wouldn't accept a meat tray. Also, this was the smallest leg room and personal space I've ever had on such a long flight."

Cons: "Rude air-hostess. When I asked for whatever in the break area, she pointed me to a bottle of water and a plastic cup. Not the service I expect. No vegetarian food on board? When most of your customers are vegetarians? Flight didn't have a USB charging port."

Pros: "Good aircraft and excellent entertainment system. Food was quite good."
Cons: "Not sure if the duration of the flight got to the attendants, but they were just not interested. They were unresponsive and rude."

Pros: "Cabin crew, cabin seats and equipment, lavatories excellent!"
Cons: "1. Check-in process highly inefficient - unable to check-in via website prior to flight to obtain boarding pass - Kiosk at airport unable to recognize my reservation confirmation number. Thus, was unable to check-in at kiosk. - Was forced to wait in line with other passengers who planned to submit luggage even though I only had carry-on baggage, which extended this waiting period in this line. - This occured both on my outbound and inbound flights 2. Consideration should be given to an expedited check-in line for those passengers who have carry-on baggage only. 3. Public announcement system in plane difficult to hear. 4. Delayed takeoff at Abu Dhabi approximately 3hours!! This was reported to be due to delay in US customs pre-clearance at Abu Dhabi. This seems to be a risky proposition given that boarded passengers are at risk for missing their connecting flights at the destination. 5. Signage at Abu Dhabi is quite poor. Difficult to determine which direction to proceed for connecting flights."
