Easy, quiet boarding and flight, USB port available, audio and sound were working, nice movie selection. Friendly and helpful crew, assisted with cough crisis
Seats from JFK to Zurich were a little bit squeezed.
Even though the flight was very short, the team moved quickly through the cabin ensuring everybody had a drink and a snack. They looked quite concerned when I turned down the pretzel sandwich, so I accepted and found it quite good! Also, team made sure my parent with reduced-mobility had a good boarding and transfer experience.
As always, seats are narrow. And the "neighbors" were normal-sized. The usual struggle for elbow "air-space" occurred.
I fell asleep during the meal service and there was not a vegetarian option left over but the crew was SUPER and brought me some other snacks and made my day. Thanks!
It was a 2 hour 40 minute flight. No entertainment.

When we asked for the late food service, they told us they did not have any more left. We ask them to look for anything left and after hour the food still not arrived.

The Crew was really helpful with baby, bringing bassinet (that I reserved prior to the trip) and letting me boarding preferentially.
Probably not the company fault, but my stroller was a little damaged when I got it at my destination.
The crew was organized and made us all laugh, and had a great personality.
I upgraded my seat and paid extra for one with more room. And I wasn’t impressed with my upgrade, doesn’t feel like more leg than regular seats. Comfort was below average.

Landing was a bit rough
They changed my flight to a different one departing 2 hours earlier and did not notify me! The original flight was still available & they would not let me take it despite my reservation paper work. CRAZY! I have a two hour drive to the airport this gave me the option to leave home at 2:30am or go the night before and pay for a hotel. Flight was managed by DELTA who also did not care! All involved blamed each other. Beware
Flight was cancelled, so I was rebooked on a later flight. Had to sit in a middle seat (which I did not prefer). Low rating on food and entertainment because there was none due to it being a quick flight (there was no N/A rating choice).
I said everything in another evaluation
As I checked in for the flight around 10 am on Saturday my ck in was "finished" because our pass ports were due to expire in April. We were not allowed to board our flight and the passport office is closed until Tuesday. As a result we lost $700 dollars to the hotel booked and Lufthansa may not reimburse us for the flights which were over $2000. Absolutely horrible service, no help. Negligent in informing us rapier when i chose seats for the flight. The flight was also delayed 2 and a half hours. We now have no vacation for which we paid $3000.
A male flight attendance made me feel uncomfortable. I sat in empty sit with number 3 instead of 4 and he asked me to check my number on my boarding pass. WIth an extremely directive and dictating tone in his voice he told me YOU SHOULD GO AND SIT to what your ticket says. It is VERY important to be sited, although the seats are available you should be sited where your boarding pass directs you to be.
I realized that some people of their crew are extremely insane! I have never had an issue like this, with DELTA or AIR FRANCE, or KLM, or NORWEGIAN, or SAS If it was only one persona that I had to deal with, which it was on my flight from NY to Munich I would say , it was coincidence . One person is not a statistical point and accuse the whole Company. But this was repeated on my second flight from Munich to Athens. Then I said, this is not coincidence, it is a pattern that is repeated and not professional . NEVER AGAIN WITH LUFTHANSA is my decision and my recommendation.
I can say with confidence; there was nothing that was good. Wait, the bathrooms were nice.
The food was horrible, the staff was rude, my flight was delayed 4 and a half hours, the plane was so hot I felt like I was going to pass out, the seats are way too small and too close to each other.
