Pros: I was given an exit row seat since there were so many open seats and it reminded me of flying before 9/11. I’m 6’6” and pre9/11 I was always ushered to an exit iris seat. So it was extremely thoughtful of the check-in agent to do that for me.

Pros: Again I had premium sitting, very comfortable. I did have a meal, coconut chicken and jasmine rice. It was tasty but I wish they had given out a packet of soy sauce.
Cons: There were fewer people on this flight and I had the whole row to my self. Unfortunately I was in row 6 behind 1st class that had the pullout trays. So I was not able to lift the arms in between the seats and stretch out.

Cons: 1) not that alaska does any worse than others, but boarding is increasingly unpleasant. 5 grades of 'rewards' groups boards, then children, then military, then the elderly, etc. by the time people who paid full fair for their tickets board there's no overhead space left. by charging for any checked bags, the airlines are creating a very stressful and disorganized boarding experience; 2) the ambiance is just dull: cheesy music, dull, grey colors, poor lighting, etc. it just feels as if you're in a space designed by someone with no taste--and this is from the company that bought and killed virgin!? 3) the food is the same cheese plate and tapas plate i get on other airlines. 4) no special greeting upon boarding. it wouldn't take much to make the entire experience pleasant, but alaska and others don't feel the need to make the effort.

Cons: I spoke with someone a month in advance and reserved seats, and booked a pet. The night before our flight I requested wheelchair assistance online. When we arrived they didn't have us down for assistance, didn't have record of the dog and had switched all our seats so we no longer were together or had an aisle. They rectified as best they could and were, again, very friendly. Just somehow miscommunication between the lines.

Pros: Fairly comfortable and uneventful. The flight was delayed for an hour and a half, so we arrived in L.A. later than expected. The crew was excellent and friendly, Boarding was a bit crazy but in the end we all found our seat. My flight attendant was terrific. She did all she could to fix the problem to no avail, Kudos to her.
Cons: The trip was okay. Unfortunantly my movie player quit after the first movie so I was left to reading. The coffee was horrible but the food was great. Good choices in the menu. I did get a $50.00 rebate due to the faulty video player, but seriously, what can you do with $50..00 on Delta?

Pros: My seat was very near the front ...two rows behind comfort class seating (which was mostly empty). WiFi services and entertainment were offered...to those that brought along their own receiving devices.
Cons: My seat happened to be one row in front of the Exit Aisle Seating rows....I wasn't aware that this meant having to sit straight up the entire time without the chance of reclining my chair back into the Exit Aisle's space.The 2 hour and 13 minute flight time sitting straight up really worked up my sciatic nerve into a flaring frenzy. I Forgot to bring my iPad Pro with me on this trip...and had no adequate access to any entertainment content.

Pros: They had some weather in atlanta. So they drove us out to the runway and then we sat for 45 minutes with the engines off waiting to leave. I guess it is nice that they want to keep you safe. After missing our connector - they did put us up in a hotel overnignt. However we still had to pay extra for taxi back, parking an extra day at the airport, and extra meals. Oh - and the extra trip to detroit...
Cons: So after waiting 45 minutes on the tarmac - we left and headed to Atlanta. There we landed and waited because they had no gate for us. Then we finally got off the pane and ran to our connector which left without us. We were told they don't hold the plane for less than ten people. So the four of us don't matter. We sat and sat waiting...and then lost another day due to travel.

Cons: No snacks or drinks provided on any of my flights on American this weekend. 2 of them were real short so that makes sense but other 2 were long enough to have this but stopped before my row. We were Delayed, which is understandable, but not sure why we couldn't board and wait for crew to come on to speed up process rather than waiting for crew to arrive to even begin boarding process. I assume it's a safety thing but seems like there could be a better way to handle this and speed up process to make sure people aren't missing connecting flights.

Pros: American Sirlines flight # AA1249. Was a poor experience. Flight was over an hour late due to flight crew had not arrived. The plane was too small for such a long flight Los Angeles to Atlanta. Took an hour to collect our baggage from baggage claim. I will try to Avoid American Airlines on the future.

Waste of money as flight was delayed 90 minutes trying to fix the water system which the slow response maintenance crew never fixed. Ended up using Sani-wipes and had no coffee - seemed ok for a relatively short flight and half full plane. 90 minutes to make the decision to just go on resulting in many rescheduled flights.

Well, it was on full display today on our flight from LAX to Kona repleat with the veteran battle ax barking orders at passengers; “The Bathroom is by the blue curtaaaaaaiiiins!!!!!’ Poor victim seemed utterly humiliated. Seating is cramped, seats narrow and unsupportive and the old 757’s (c. 1997) entertainment system is ancient...the touch screens seemed unresponsive, but were in fact just slow...as 5-7 seconds would elapse between touching the screen and the command being implemented. A full re-boot was ordered about 30-45 minutes into the flight. As expected, there were some bumps in the air, but we welcommed them because it required the crew to sit down, freeing us of their ultra passive agressiveness.

Pros: We arrived on time despite leaving 45 minutes late
Cons: LAX now buses people to the planes. We stood on the bus for 45 minutes and then drove for 10 minutes on an active taxi way. The crew for united just does not seem motivated anymore on any flight. Even in first class we were offered water only 2 on a 5 hour flight. The crew just sat in the front and looked at their phones. The food made me sick for two days - so it is better to just not eat it and bring your own. It is sad as I united used to be a great airline and now they just seem to focus on what new fee they can charge.

Pros: Everything was really smooth sailing.
Cons: Everything was great! The Charleston airport is small yet very nice inside

Cons: No food on a 7 hour flight?? That comes close to torture in my book. Crossing a huge ocean = food you don't have to pay for, in my book.

Pros: The crew, was friendly and attentive to any and all needs.
Cons: The flight was supposed to arrive in Newark at 4:30. But it did not leave Charleston until 6:15 PM! This is not the 1st time this has happened with United. It seems that they are always some kind if “weather” delay with United flights arriving and departing Newark. Also, they are constantly cancelling flights to/from there. I would suggest looking at a different airline, perhaps one that cares more about the passengers iteneraries than the number of passengers.

Pros: The crew was friendly, and the flight time was an hour shorter than scheduled. But those are silver linings to real problems I encountered.
Cons: This flight was actually from Denver to Kona. There was 1.5 hour delay due to mechanical issue with plane, so we had to switch gates and planes. That wasn't so bad. What made it bad was an extra 45 minute delay because apparently maintenance forgot to sign off on the new plane. Also, the space below the seat for my feet and carry-on was unacceptable. All the aisle seats like mine had only half the space of the window seats for their feet. If you're in an aisle seat on that plane, it's impossible to fit anything but the size of a small purse under the seat in front of you. And the middle seat fares only a bit better. Finally, with 7 hours of flight time plus about an hour waiting to depart from gate on plane, the crew ignorantly decided to hand out the Hawaii form to fill out within 2 minutes of preparing to land. Many people didn't have time to fill out the form before being required to put tray tables up. Fortunately, these forms aren't as serious as going thru customs, but it's stupid to pass out the forms that late into the flight expecting people to complete them.

Cons: 95% of my united flights are delayed. Today, they overbooked and asked for a volunteer. I did so and was offered a $1,500 compensation. Instead of 8:00, I would arrive at 11:00. I was very excited and patiently waited for the plane to board, so I coulD receive my new flight info. The flight is inevitably delayed, as it always is with this airline: I would have ended up missing my connection, so it seemed to work out well. However, they’re about to close the doors when the agent says “it’s not overbooked anymore” she gave me the option to so either get on that flight and wing it on my layover to find another flight, or go to Newark. But I needed to make a decision at that moment. The agent revoked the $1,500 because it was no longer overbooked and her demeanor immediately changed from The kind, accommodating agent she was when she needed me to give up my seat. She became short and rude. I got the last available seat because I was the last to board and was forced to check my bag because there was no more room. All because I was willing to change my travel plans. I get to my layover, and the earliest flight I could get would land at midnight with an additional layover. Oh! And the first class seat I was supposed to have on my second leg was not available. All of this was while I was seriously ill— throwing up, just wanting to be home. Honestly, I’ve never liked United. I constantly get over it, because it’s often the less expensive option. At this point, I am so sick of how they treat their customers, and their inability to depart on time. Last time I let them put me through this again.

Pros: Friendly crew. Crew was very positive and helpful despite the delay.
Cons: Flight was delayed 2.5 hr. To use the entertainment you have to download an app, but in order to download the app you have to pay for wifi.

Pros: The entertainment selection was great!! The crew was great!
Cons: It was SO hot on plane, I was miserable the whole flight. It started out with a delay on the tarmac due to the air conditioning not working. We had to wait for maintenance to fix that. That wasn’t a big deal to me. We didn’t have a connecting flight to catch, so we were understanding....things happen. The problem for me began when HOT air was blowing on my legs the WHOLE flight. I was miserable! They only had pizza for purchase which did NOT sound appetizing in that heat. It was a terribly long flight and I was so happy to land and get off!!

Pros: Smooth sailing, the crew was so friendly and flight were all on time. They had really good movies on board which made time fly faster and
Cons: Nothen bad to say.

Pros: The boarding was fast and easy. The crew were friendly and accommodating. The entertainment was bring your own phone, tablet or computer to watch movies over wifi. We could not access our United account so we could not watch the movies, which was lame for a 5 hour flight. The food was also unpleasant as usual. You'd think a multimillion dollar airline could afford to feed people more than drinks and a cookie. What happened to the hospitality of the industry? If you came to my house for 5 hours and I gave you one cookie and a beverage maybe two you would think I was rude or down right cheap.
Cons: The crew were wonderful. My husband was on a business trip and I was able to sit with him. The staff didn't wake me up and they were generous with the sodas.

Pros: Food was great and unexpected

Cons: Plane sucks. Too small and poor seats. Better snack selection.

Pros: The crew was very nice and helpful. They comped everyone the direct tv access as an apology for the delay, but I'd rather be comped wifi.
Cons: It ended up being a 5 hour delay. I would have been fine with it if they had told us up front that it was 5 hours, but instead it's 2 hours, then after an hour passes they tack on another hour and so on. It would be nice just to know it'll be a long wait, so we can leave and come back or reschedule our flight for the next day.

Cons: Flight attendants brought a few people drinks and then disappeared leaving the rest of us thirsty

Cons: Third time a flight has been delayed and then cancelled. United has horrible customer service, rude and inexperienced. It will be a very very last resort before I ever book with them. Three strikes you're out

Cons: The whole flight seemed like a sales pitch. Pay to upgrade to our empty seats with a little more legroom. Pay to watch TV cross country (Delta, American, and all others are included). They did have more sales pitches on the screen for 6 hours though. Pay for snacks. Not even peanuts or pretzels anymore. They do give you a disgusting wafer. Flew back on Delta and didn't see any of this. Between this and their recent beating up of customers, no more United for me.

Pros: I arrived and my flight was delayed until after 9:30pm and my connecting flight left at 10.
Cons: Unreliable. Could not get me to my destination in a timely manner. Trip cancelled.

Cons: Boarding personnel was short and rude in some instances. Condescending comments were made when passengers were not forming lines to their liking.

Pros: Service/flight attendants were great. Flight was smooth mostly. Space was good as nobody next to me. Flt from YYZ via ORD to SFO misplaced my luggage and got it the next day.

Pros: Overall the flights were trouble free. The seats on the CRJ145 to Chicago were pretty confortable. United is the only airline that gives passengers a complete can of coke instead of just a cup. The snack was just so so.
Cons: The seats on the plane from Chicago to Tucson were not comfortable. I could feel the hard bottom.

Cons: You had to pay for internet service in order to watch the free movies.

Cons: The seats in coach were curved in a weird way. The seats made my posture bad.

Cons: Delayed several hours waiting on a part to fix the engine. The aircraft was too warm. I sweated the whole flight.

Cons: We were kept in the airport for hours on end without being informed our flight was cancelled. Something was wrong with the plane and then by the time it was fixed the crew had times out. We were given no information, the delays just kept increasing and increasing. We had to fly out the following morning which made things very inconvenient for getting rides from the airport and getting to work on time.

Cons: Barely enough room to hoist your baggage in the overhead bins

Pros: The crew was pleasant and polite.
Cons: No leg room, only ranch snack mix.

Pros: Being able to leave on my desired day.
Cons: This would have been my first time on this airline ans I was excited going into it with ano open mind. However as I was getting ready to head to the airport, my flight was canceled and they rebooked for another flight that would leave the next day with a 3 to 4 hour layover. I was frustrated with the flight selected and therected seemed to be no effort into suiting me with an equivalent flight in which I purchased, which was a direct flight. I spoke to a reap that found a flight on another airline, but it still was not a direct flight in which I requested. For this being my first impression I was not impressed!
