Cons: "Switching from Alaskan Air to Hawaiian Air in San Diego is near impossible. I got off at 9:25am and had to run out of the airport and down to another terminal, go through security again and run to gate 51 from gate 10. It is near impossible for someone who can’t sprint. I was the last one to board. Lost my window seat and luggage didn’t make it. In Honolulu I found out luggage hasn’t made it for at least three other couples flying out of BWI with these connections. This combo should not be offered when people select flights."

Pros: "Despite the heavy snowfall at the end of our flight and elsewhere in the country, Alaska Airlines did a great job of keeping us up to date on the delays. They were eve able to make up much of the 45 minute time loss in flight to get us to our destination. The flight crew was in high spirits throughout the flight as well."
Cons: "There was an obnoxious rattling in one of the overhead bins - maybe because the props were spinning faster to get us to our destination 30 minutes quicker. But the flight attendant did everything she could to try to silence it. Eventually, she won the battle."

Pros: "Well, since you're asking, what I truly liked and enjoyed was being able to sleep comfortably undisturbed on this early morning flight from blast off to splash down. Comfy seats, no yakity-yak seat neighbors, no pesky flight attendants waking me to offer coffee, and a tidy restroom when needed. Just a happy flight. There, is that 50 words?"
Cons: "What I don't like is having to tell you what I like and don't like about taking a trip on an airline. Suffice it to say, we made it and that is never a small accomplishment for which I am always genuinely grateful and appreciative to the pilots, the crew, the engineers and builders of these large metal tubes with wings that continually and mostly consistently manage to defy the laws of gravity by propelling groups of human beings across large stretches of land and over water. Why wouldn't I be happy?"

Cons: "Delays Alaska claimed no responsibility for meant my connecting flight landed two hours later than scheduled. Because it "wasn't [their] fault" I was given the option to stay 24 hours in city I never asked for, to "try again", without my baggage, the next day. No mention of compensation, no attempt to work with another carrier to find a flight because, as they claimed their flight being late to connect to their other flight is not their fault."

Pros: "They were helpful and polite while boarding and flying. They even give you a complimentary glass of wine or beer on board. All in all my experience was extremely pleasant. They have been much better than my experience last week with united. I would very much recommend Alaska if you have the option."

Cons: "When we got to the gate 3 hours early, we ordered a wheel chair for my wine to board the plane as soon as the first gate personnel arrived. At boarding time the clueless person who brought the wheel chair for us gave it to a 20 something man with a foot in a cast and crutches while my 71 year old wife had to wait until another wheelchair could be brought. The irony is that two wheelchairs were there until just. Edited boarding time and both were taken away."

Cons: "We were rerouted through Helena, MT and had to rent a car and drive 2 hours to our destination. Due to the limited services into Montana through Alaska Airlines, we would highly consider another airline to accommodate future trips."

Cons: "Being squashed in a tin can and not being able to recline. I never feel my comfort is any kind of a goal by an airline. Only one goal for the airline. Profit. Can't even say safety is a high priority because how the heck can you get out of a plane when there's no space to walk. Passengers need more space not less. But can't do that it'd lower your profit."

Oh - and the extra trip to detroit..."
Cons: "So after waiting 45 minutes on the tarmac - we left and headed to Atlanta. There we landed and waited because they had no gate for us. Then we finally got off the pane and ran to our connector which left without us. We were told they don't hold the plane for less than ten people. So the four of us don't matter. We sat and sat waiting...and then lost another day due to travel."

When getting off at Utah, I could not get off plane early to catch the plane. In the past the flight attendants were very well informing people. I was at the gate only 5 mins late before catching the flight. Now I am stuck in the airport for 5 hours on standby!!!! It can be avoided totally."

After several delays, they started boarding us at 1:00am, but the boarding process so messy and confuse, the plane couldn’t took off before 1:40 by 1 minute and they had to cancel the flight with 200 people inside the plane. An absurd! Flight was rescheduled to today at 10am and obviously took off 1h delayed because AA can't organize simple things to expedite the boarding process."

Cons: "When we arrived at the Aspen airport, American Airlines was having a complete breakdown checking-in passengers for our flight. Some waited 2.5 hours to check a bag -- at an airport with very few flights and small planes. Clearly there was no management onsite – or that management was completely inept. AA agents on the ground simply did not prioritize passengers trying to make flights, nor did they ask flyers without urgent issues if they could step aside. Even worse, they spent 1.5 hours helping one customer – when that customer simply could have gone online or called reservations to get the appropriate assistance. Honestly, I personally stepped in to do what your personnel should have been trained to do: show empathy to calm passengers, ask one irate man to have some sympathy for those behind him in line, and finally, prioritize the people trying to check bags for the 2pm flight ahead of others. AA personnel only engaged the irate customer and threatened to call security when he pulled out his camera phone – it simply inflamed an already bad situation."

American should have had an English speaking greater to tell me about the Aer LIngus switch. Took me 3 hours to figure it out on my own, go through security twice and barely make the flight to Dublin."

Cons: "my son was connecting in Newark, and they said they were holding the plane for him and 20 other passengers. when they shuttled them from one plane to the next, they got to the gate on the tarmac and the plane had already left. we had to drive 2 1/2 hours to newark at midnight to get our 18 year old son. when i called united about it, they said to write in on their website and i'd be compensated etc... 5 days later, haven't heard a peep. never flying united again...ever"

Pros: "Flight was on time and on schedule,"
Cons: "The cost of a one way ticket was more than a return flight The entertainment system did not work, no movies were accessible on the entire plane for the 12 hour flight. Meals were OK but nothing fantastic to write home about Seat were crowded for eccomomy class, I flew on Emirates on my way to Zurich, for 60% of this flight cost, and would give them a solid 9 or 10 rating our of 10. This was an old plane, 747 Jumbo, Looked tired and was loud inside."

Pros: "Mobile entertainment"
Cons: "I paid for Economy Plus. Once the doors closed a bunch of passengers decided to move up to the Economy Plus section without paying. The lead flight attendant made a tongue in cheek remark about it as the plane was pulling away but did nothing to enforce it. Not cool at all."

Pros: "Boarding was fast when delayed plane arrived."
Cons: "My seat was dirty with used napkins and crumbs."

Pros: "There was nothing to like...received several emails about airtraffic control problems and rescheduled flights."
Cons: "No accommodation! Nothing! It was a connecting flight and no consideration was given to that effect...just rescheduled for Friday. Some people received taxi and hotel vouchers while I received a, " all the flights are full there's nothing we can do.""

Cons: "2-1/2 hour delay due to poor maintenance"

Pros: "Staff was nice and accommodating. Plane ride was smooth."
Cons: "DELAYS. I had 4 flights within a weekend all with United and EVERY flight was delayed. The plane also heading to Newark ahead of us was overbooked and some people were pushed onto our plane, not a big deal if all can fit on the plane...but we wouldn't have if it wasn't for the delay causing those flying to Boston to miss their flights. Frustrating and adds an element of concern when faced with delays when the weather is fine. The internet on the plane is also confusing to use...should be clearer. Mistakenly booked my flight before realizing the new carry on policy, so trying to pack everything into a tiny bag to meet requirements was frustrating... definitely don't think I will be booking United again."

Pros: "Nothing. They booked me on another flight with no need supposedly plane has delate but I maked on time for my connection Now I am missing my paid luggage . Poor customer service at South Carolina"
Cons: "The girl that took care of me at South Carolina need more training"

Pros: "Seating done in orderly fashion. Person serving food was nice. Updates on delay due to fog were helpful and reassuring."
Cons: "Took a long time to get luggage. Also I asked a United person working in baggage claim that if and when my luggage arrived she would help me get my bag off. I had a low back problem. She said yes. Then when my bag came I asked her to help. She didn't hear me. She was busy talking to a coworker. So I had to do it, which made my back worse."

Cons: "Touched down 45 min later than scheduled arrival"

Pros: "Got me to the Newark ahead of schedule"
Cons: "The in flight magazine was in pieces and trash was in the pocket holdings the flight information."

Cons: "The planes seem to need a little bit of refurbishing"

Cons: "Had to sit on the tarmac for awhile. Overall though not too bad."

Pros: "I like nothing! From the beginning It was a nightmare. Begin with changing airlines because theirs have mechanical difficulties. We have to sleep in the floor at miami. Never again!"

I had 2 flights canceled due to maintenence and then when we finally were rebooked the third plane it was delayed 2 hours and I missed all my connecting flights. Once I arrived at next airport was rebooked again and that plane was delayed for 3 hours."
