Exemptions or waiver to the testing requirements may be granted by the CDC on an extremely limited basis when emergency travel (like an emergency medical evacuation) must occur to preserve someone’s life, health against a serious danger, or physical safety and testing cannot be completed before travel.
US citizens and permanent residents arriving from the UK must present a medical certificate with a negative COVID-19 PCR or antigen test result issued within 72 hours prior to departure.

Cons: "Initially delayed by 3hours (mechanical) which was American Eagle couldn’t get their “bucket of bolts” to Springfield, MO on time so we missed our flight out of Charlotte to Barcelona. Then we were rerouted through Chicago, but lost our first class seats and were bumped back to coach. This was after I had bought first class tickets for the entire trip only to be told 3 months before leaving that AA decided to switch planes on our domestic flight so there’s were no first class seats. THEN, in Chicago we tried to get first class seats on British Airways which would have been fine but After being sent to another terminal (after the bus to that terminal had stopped running) we were turned back because British Airways wouldn’t accept the boarding pass that AA had issued us. Now, having to go back to the first terminal to DISCUSS all this, we miss that flight and wind up stuck in Chicago for another 24 hours. Then, that flight was delayed by 3 hours, so we lost a day and a half of our vacation."

To get from Philly to avoca on a flight is half an hour. On a bus, its two hours. If an airline knows there will be a four hour delay, how do you not provide that service? I watched plent of other flights go to AVP and even to Allentown, no one could offer one of those options to me? Cold, compressed and miserable experience."

I misunderstood because I replied “I am not checking my backpack, only my suitcase.” The United employee said “no, your ticket” which caused an awkward silence of confusion & everyone surrounding us to look at me like I had said something wrong when in fact it was then United employee that was unclear with her words. I handed her my ticket & the other United employee proceeded to tag my wife’s suitcase but not mine looking at me like I was crazy for offering mine up. Out of further embarrassment & frustration I ended up carrying my suitcase on the plane. The seats on the plane felt like I was sitting against a piece of plywood. If I could give comfort zero stars I would. Terrible customer service & terrible comfort."

The United seats, which we had purchased as "Premium Economy" from the Lufthansa site were "Economy Plus" and not worth the extra $ 275 per seat. The United plane was not well-maintained and had several obvious defects. If United wants "Star AlliNCE" to mean something, they need to do as well as Lufthansa."

The airline told us seats were chosen at random and they couldn't control them so we had 4 legs of our two flights stuck in no reveling seats. I was very disappointed."

Don't tell me the flight is delayed an hour, the 55 min later tell me it's delayed another hour - repeat, repeat, repeat. After two and a half hours, I said f-it, and just left. I could've driven to my destination faster."
