Since I traveled on my birthday, they gave me a gift and a card. How thoughtful and caring.
I missed the flight. I never got on. That sucked.
Great. Better than average US carriers on overseas flights. Still room for improvement to rise up the average Asian and Middle East airlines.
Our flight was canceled, then they moved us to a different flight number yet we didn’t receive notifications timely. We had to find out the latest on our own / later AA sent a text with the updated info..
They didn't tell me they changed my flight. So I got confused on what happened to my flight.
It was just a short flight. The crew was nice. No major issue.
Overall, a solid flight experience. Boarding was quick and efficient, even with a full and overbooked flight. The flight crew did a great job providing attentive and friendly service throughout. I flew in economy, and while the seats were acceptable, they could definitely use more cushioning, especially for a 14-hour flight. By the end, it was quite uncomfortable to remain seated. Legroom was also limited, particularly with a bag stored under the seat and the passenger in front reclining. That said, everything else went smoothly, and I appreciated the professionalism of the crew.
The crew was nice, the food could be better, and at least 2 bathroom stalls were out of service.
great experience - staff were kind and attentive and food was excellent. very comfortable flight that felt much shorter than 14 hours.
Too bad the plane didn't work after we taxied out to get in line for take-off. We went back to the gate and waited for almost 90 minutes for them to find a plane that worked. Waited another hour to board. When we got to Rochester we waited for over an hour for our bags to appear. The agent said they only had three people working to load and unload baggage. A one hour flight took an extra four hours. It would have been faster to rent a car at JFK and drive to Rochester.
Simplicity of boarding and corporate interactions were all totally positive and simple, brief, organized and clear. No regrets at all. I will favor flights with Cathay Pacific in the future.
My seat had many issues. First the chair was broken where reclining was difficult. My usb plug was also broken so charging was impossible.
There could have been more options on the entertainment section Nothing was available for non English speaking passengers
Crew and food were great in-flight. We had a 2 hour delay, no communication, and just got left in a limbo. The crew arrived late and they were running checkouts on the plane (which is important, but why not doing it earlier?) Cathay did nothing to about the delay, and a lot of people missed their connection flights. I had to run and got stuck at checkpoint, which made my entire trip very unpleasant. Got to my gate 5 mins prior to them closing it.
I was only given 2 meals, and my screen showed that there were 3 meals. Second meal was 1-2 hours late according to the screen.
I've stomach problems after 2 hours of flight, Iris, the flight purser not only did her best to make me feel comfortable, she went above and beyond providing pain relievers medicines and ointment. She look and found a doctor passenger on the flight to provide advise. She even report on ground staffs about my condition and provide wheelchair upon arrival. Kudos to her and Cathay Pacific!
Fast boarding flight on time boarded plane back to front instead of stupid zone groups like US airlines do...

Flight delayed in NYC and missed Hong Kong connecting flight to Guangzhou. While being given a hotel room and a 30 dollar voucher to eat in the airport, the delay caused a few big inconveniences , a 12 hour delay should have been better compensated for.
Excellent. Planes are a little older and could get some refurbishment, but besides that everything was excellent.
The seats on this flight weren’t as comfortable as we had expected. Even leaned back these seats left us feeling crappy in our backs. Also we had to use our own tablets for movies, but nothing in the seats in front of us to hold the tablets up.
Check in was chaotic with only one counter for business class and first class. The luggage conveyor belt at JFK airport was broken so the flight departure was delayed which made the flight stressful as I had a tight connection. Although the captain said they could make up the delay, they didn’t do so.
I had a good time. However, I paid for the wifi and it was in and out the whole flight.
3 hour delay…. Nearly 2 hours sitting on tarmac. Do better, United. Or at least have the sense to not say “we hope you enjoyed your flight with us” upon disembarking.

Unfortunately weather delayed our flight waiting for our plane to arrive and due to a little snow time was needed to deice the plane so departure was very delayed and I missed the connecting flight
Flight was delayed from 35 minute delayed aircraft arrival to 90 minute delay causing us to miss international connecting flight on SWISS resulting in 16 hour delay to reach detonation causing significant angst, monetary loss and discomfort. SWISS transfer desk and staff was like robots not willing to help at all.
Best part: It’s operated by All Nippon Airways. It’s quite literally comfortable, reliable and respected from boarding to landing each and every time. It’s perfection without extremity in lavishness — it’s how flying should always be!
The flight attendants were unhelpful. It was a packed flight, and usually a flight attendant would help find a spot in the bin for your carry on or shift things around. Neither made any effort to do so. Also, I had to then check my bag. I was told it would be on the carousel in YYZ, but it came up on the jetway. So lucky I saw others standing around for their bags. I would have walked straight past this and on to the carousel. They could have at least told me that they had given me wrong information. Very unsatisfactory.
The staff was very friendly. The seats seemed quite small. Overall the flight was pleasant.

Communication not good, too many changes. Three flights were cancelled due to weather and the options were not acceptable. I had to cancel my Canada portion of the trip.
Our flight from Chicago to Des Moines was the problem flight due to a dismissive flight attendant. His conduct was unnecessary and unprofessional.. I will avoid using Americam Airlines again because of the situation. Very disappointing.
Aa cancelled my flight where I was in first class seat 4B. They auto rebooked me on another flight, did not give me a seat assignment until at the gate. Where I got seat 29f, for a 4 hr flight. No accommodation at all for my first class ticket. Left 3 hrs late as well.
It was delayed 5 hours due weather and your app should be rebuilt or disabled. I could not change my original flight on delta so I did it through the delta app. Then rebooked on American once delta cancelled all flights from LGA to PIT on 8/27. American Airlines was fine once the flight took off 5 hours later. I wish my company would find a better provider than kayak.
DCA-LAX No screen on a 5 hour flight (almost) no food for sale on a 5 hour flight (practically) no wifi coverage or speed on a 5 hour flight I should have gotten my money back, shame on American
It was good experience this time. The flight was on time.
The only problem experienced was a ground stop in Chicago due to weather. But the crew handled everything professionally. They prioritized rebooking those passengers who had connecting flights and then deplaning the other passengers. When the hold was lifted, they efficiently re-boarded all the passengers so that we could depart before our departure limit expired.
Our original flight was delayed and we almost missed our layover. Fortunately they delayed the second flight as well due to the number of people being on both flights so we got lucky. But it was due to mechanical issues which was frustrating.
