Pros: Everything is perfect.

Pros: Everything is perfect.
Cons: Nothing to complain, simply perfect.

Pros: Lights on ceiling, good movie selection, meals
Cons: Needed a lot more water service to stay hydrated

Pros: Yes, crews and comfort were amazing.

Cons: Delayed my luggage. Still waiting for Emirates to call me after 2 days

Pros: Every thing
Cons: Boarding

Pros: The crew was very attentive and patient inspite of the flight being full.
Cons: The boarding at DBX was chaotic. It was disorganized and not executed properly - boarding was not done by priority or by zone in the begininng. Unaccompanied minors were boarded at the end, they should have been boarded first and their cabin baggage take care of first. The quality of food is average ... it used to be much better. No alcohol was served in the flight; was not provided even after requesting one; didn't bother to ask again. The choice of movies were limited

Pros: Comfortable seats with pillows, blanket and good foods
Cons: The thing which was not good was the service. I would say that service should be done fairly not to see the people background so I asked for something but the crew did bring that. I would suggest to work on this portion. Thanks

Pros: Great customer service

Pros: Everything was very nice

Pros: Flight itself was normal. Flight crew was adequate and courteousdr
Cons: Drunk passenger has to be removed prior to take off. Thus delaying takeoff and arrival. Apparently this flight is a connecting flight for many. Well the different awful body odor form numerous passenger is offensive. Especially for such a long flight. Economy can be torture

Pros: I have never been in a flight where a handful of small children were able to make so much noise. There was one 4 year old that talked so loud for ten hours that not even my headphones could drown him out. Not once did any of the parents tell these kids to use their inside voice

Pros: Whether coach, business or 1st class, Emirates creates their passengers with respect and thanks in all they do. A 13 hour flight is no short haul and the Emirates staff kept a positive aire throughout the flight. The meals were very good, the service as well. The facilities were kept clean and accessible. Thank you Emirates...you made my trip a pleasure both to and from Dubai.

Cons: Food was the worst, service extremely poor

Pros: Everyone was very friendly. Lots of choices for entertainment. Had enough legroom in a regular seat.
Cons: Being on FlyDubai for the first leg of the trip. We had a difficult time with our check in and our son's luggage was lost.

Pros: Smooth ride, decent food, good entertainment.
Cons: Long periods without in cabin service, people had to repeatedly ask for water or get up to get water. Boarding Gates were totally secluded from the shops and restaurants of Dubai airport.

Pros: Nice wide seats
Cons: some of the flight attendants were nice and others were openly irritated by the passengers

Pros: Food is good
Cons: Seat is not comfortable when you lie down on flat position, narrow space, and attendant woke me up for breakfast despite tellingher not to do that at begginig of the trip

Pros: Staff were friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble. In addition the facilities were excellent.
Cons: Taipei airport was not great and confusing.

Pros: Food, care, excellent people .

Pros: Great legroom good food and lots of entertainment. The little comfort packs they give you are awesome as well!
Cons: Everything was great!

Pros: I have travelled with various airlines over Atlantoc and Pacific none of them I found comfortable as Emirates. The reason I guess is, "Emirates delivers more for ever service" Good work...
Cons: The departure time should be more comfortable

Pros: Great crew, service, food and entertainment.
Cons: Hard landing

Pros: The comfort of the flight was unbeatable. The crew was great. The 13 he flight didn't feel that long.
Cons: When boarding my kids and I were separated. This is not recommended at all. I don't know why you can't keep families together.

Cons: The online site didn't let us allocate seats even before 48 hours of schedule flight timings. Complimentary seats were allocated badly. Even when contacted with airline staff they didn't pass on the right information. We found on airport counter that exists seats opened before opening the airline counter at the airports whereas we are told that it would be allocated at the airport counter only. Misleaded at Dubai by airline staff that airport counter would open 3 hours before flight departure whereas we found and told at counter it was opened 48 hours before flight departure. Faced lots of inconvenience in allocation of complimentary seats. I speak with other co-passengers in the flight and found single complimentary aisle seats were allocared to passengers. They same opportunity was not extend to others having more than 1 seats in the flight.

Pros: Good Flight.
Cons: They changed the seats without asking.

Pros: Best
Cons: Best

Pros: So, as mentioned, this was our first time flying Emirates and from our flights from Maryland to Dubai to Philippines has been pleasant, the only issue we've had was with the security process and an incident that my wife encountered in Dubai when we were in the process of boarding to go to Washington Dulles. We landed in Dubai and we were in transit to our connecting flight. We went to our assigned gate and had to check in with security prior to waiting in our gate or boarding the plane. We checked in our electronic devices and my wife was asked to be checked. There wasn't anything wrong up until that moment. My wife cooperated with all the requests of the security agent. They asked her to go inside a security room/enclosed area and the first thing that the security agent asked my wife was why she wasn't wearing her wedding band. It was obvious that she was married because she had a tan line of the marks of wearing a ring. It was her travel ring and she removed it because it was too tight and she explained that to the agent. The agent then made the comment "so you got fat on this trip?". My wife was confused on what she said and asked her "what did you say?". The agent then repeated ..."So you're fat... that's why the wedding ring doesn't fit?" My wife was furious but maintained her cool because she didn't want to give a reason for her to be held from getting on the flight. I didn't see the situation take place and I don't know if there was anything that triggered her comment. My wife felt humiliated. I don't know the agent's name but I wanted to address the incident. Our experience with Emirates has been very pleasant but having to feel helpless after someone with authority to make that comment was humiliating and ruined the rest of her time on the flight as well as mine.

Pros: awosam

Pros: Clean bathrooms, new plane
Cons: Families w/ babies overran the flight with incessant crying, talking, and moving around for the entire 14 hour trip!!! It made for a stressful and uncomfortable journey. Families with babies and young kids should be seated in their own section with some type of sound barrier. The flight attendants did nothing to control these families who took over sections of the plane as if it were their own personal space. I empathize, Im a mother. But have some common courtesy!

Cons: They changed our seats to 46F 58F and 88B. We already get boarding pass for connecting flight but they did changed them because of flight delayed from Bangkok. It was unfair. They should hold reserved seats for us since they knew that the first flight would arrive on time.

Pros: The in-flight entertainment is very good.
Cons: For in-flight service call to flight attendant, it took 30 mins for response, and in the meantime two attendants walked by and waved me off. The next time I asked an attendant for water, he said sure he would get it, but he never showed up. Their water & juice service is not adequate for long-haul flights. Dubai has poor air quality, which might be bothersome for a long layover.

Pros: Online checking
Cons: N/ A

Pros: I liked watching movies and drinking wine and the food was decent.
Cons: We took off over an hour late with no communication as to why we were sitting on the runway. Most of the crew seemed annoyed and short with everyone.

Pros: Always my number one airline.

Pros: Very courteous flight attendants. I liked the fact that they came from several countries and looked like a strong, united team. I also enjoyed the great selection of movies, music, news, and TV shows. The space between the chairs is more generous than other airlines I used in the past.
Cons: They can try harder to improve the food.

Pros: Emirates is our usual pick for flying and this time also it was no exception. The crew were friendly, but still couldn't arrange preferred seating because it was during the holiday season. I know this is the section for good comments, but I am very disappointed about the demeanor and the service provided this time.
Cons: I have called in advance and selected the seats for both inbound and outbound flights. Also, confirmed a wheelchair access. To my surprise, none of them were met according to the commitment. The seats were not the ones that were asked for. I mentioned that there was a medical condition with the leg and my mom would have to get up and move during the flight, but still they allocated seats which are extremely inconvenient to both us and the fellow passengers. We expect better from Emirates!!! I hope they can improve this in the future!

Pros: We liked the selection of movies. The stewards were extremely helpful and kind.

Pros: Liked the entertainment.
Cons: Some of the crew members were rough. Bashing the passengers and missing the courteous approach. No snacks available in the kitchen between meals on the long 14 hours flight segment.

Pros: Great entertainment choice on board. Free, cheap in-flight Wi-Fi.
Cons: No free seat selection available anymore until checkin.

Pros: The flight staff was great! Overall service was great.
Cons: Ahmedabad and Dubai do not have good line control all passengers gather in the front. Washington Dulles has lanes for zones that is orderly.

Pros: Staff
Cons: The overall experience and lack of response to rectify missed connecting flights, damaged luggage and overall bad customer service for an airline that wants to advertise its pride and attention to service. Much can be improved.

Pros: The courteous and friendly on-board service, spacious seating and clean men's rooms were the best part of the journey. The smiling stewardess were outstanding in creating a happy environment. I will consider Emirates for my future travels.
Cons: Coffee was ok but could be better.

Pros: Foods and electronic entertainment
Cons: The male flight attendant accidently hit my head without apologize while I was bending down to tight my shoes.

Pros: Flight wasn't filled. Takes off and lands at not-business ideal times so it was perfect flight for vacation. Crew remained quiet and left lights off full flight instead of turning them on and off

Pros: Crew are awesome, helpful
Cons: Emirates pizza is not good.

Cons: We had a long layover in Dubai and decided to go out to explore the city. When we went to go back with the same carry ons that we had been using our entire trip (with three different flights with them), They made us check in our hand luggage because it was over 7kg. When we went to talk to the person at the gate about it, he was very condescending and rude and not helpful at all. They were also not nice on the plane. Never flying again.

Cons: Good

Pros: This is the 4th times I use Emirates and they maintain their standards. The entertainment is very good, a lot of new movies and tv shows, in many languages. The quality of the plane is still amazing, I love Airbus even in economy class and I am 6'2 tall. So enough space for my legs, the plane seemed to be pretty new. Love it. No problem during the boarding. Staff very efficient at that time The same during the flight. they were there to provide us a high standards services. Thank you Emirates.
Cons: The food portion were pretty small BUT there were some leftover that the crew agree to give if you asked for. So at the end not too bad.

Pros: Service of the cabin crew was great considering how crowded and full the flight was.
Cons: The luggage distribution at Dulles was a nightmare. Took us 30 mins to find out luggage. Was very disappointing

Cons: The technical problem with flight from Dubai to Dulles could have been resolved before boarding the flight. Crew could have been more clear on how much longer it would take to resolve the problem before and not after boarding the flight.

Pros: On time
Cons: Food

Cons: Very poor job . I had bad experiences.

Pros: The best airline
Cons: My above head storage was occupied with airline stuff. They boarded a little late and there were no separate lines for front and back of the plane.

Cons: Everything perfect although 757 planes seemed tired. Istanbul TA airport lounge is second only to Emerites.

Cons: It was a very long flight and the leg room is too small especially for a very tall person.

Pros: Food, entertainment system were very good

Pros: Seat
Cons: Check-in counter: clerk was “mute”, no greeting, no words about the gate, luggage destination, passport paper. Poor communication: 90 minutes delay, but no announcements Inconsiderate: when the “business class bathroom” located between business and economy classes, was unoccupied, the fly attend Commanded not to use after standing there for 10 minutes. No tea or coffee with breakfast Gate has no information: no destination, no time indicated

Pros: The crew were all very nice and the food was good.
Cons: The AC never seemed to work well...on the entire 10+ hour flight...so, that was pretty miserable. Especially sitting on the tarmac for 2 hours waiting for a mechanical issue to be fixed. That was bad.

Pros: Food was good as it is typical on Turkish Airlines.
Cons: The check in process was terrible. I specifically requested seating together with 2 small children and an injured daughter. The check in process was the most chaotic I've seen in recent times. No clear order, no clear counters. We bounced back and forth before we checked in our luggage. At the gate, another long chaotic line of multiple questioning and bag/body search before we boarded buses to our plane. When we boarded we found out we were split at 2 or 1 seat arrangements (out of 5 travelers). After complaining, there were able to seat at least 3 (with one lap child) together and 1 separate. The plane was uncomfortably hot all flight long despite notifying the flight attendants. The one restroom ran out of soap in the first hour of the 11 hour flight. They quickly ran out of a choice for lunch option and snacks. I fly Turkish Airlines frequently and I usually am satisfied, but this was exceptionally bad experience.

Pros: Food and crew amazing..I guess Turkish airline going to be best

Cons: I was disappointed that the two female flight attendants on my side (seats A&B) did not come across friendly, and any request appeared to be a bother. At one point I requested bread and butter, the flight attendant seemed annoyed and said if she can find some, and never came back to me. I went to the galley, where a male flight attendant was working on something. I requested some bread and butter from him, was met with s smile, and was able to locate a roll and butter for me in under a min. Please note, I do not think this was a gender issues, it just happens to be the situation with this case, and I specified it as I do not know the names of the flight attendants, but the airline should be able to identify who was working the different sections.

Pros: We received kosher meals and snacks on both legs of the flight which we really appreciated. The flight attendants were pleasant and helpful. In flight movie and music selection was good. Bathrooms clean and well attended. Flights were on schedule.
Cons: I generally don't like flying. Sorry. Seats were very tight in Economy. Not enough water, though we usually bring it.

Cons: Late arrival from Cairo & last minute gate change added to confusion of time zone changes - was supposed to be 2&1/4 hour layover but I just made last call for DC departure.

Pros: I liked the food, it was delicious. The flight was on time, the boarding was organized.
Cons: There was a steaward who was not very friendly whenever I asked for something which was a right he would make faces. He even passed my row and did not serce us and I had to ask the steawrd of the other aisle who was very friendly and nice. I was very desappointed by his behaviour. It was my first time on Turkish Airlines.

Pros: Food and service were great.
Cons: The usb charger was broken

Pros: І was a passenger with your wonderful Airlines from IST to IAD last week Nov 3rd 2017 and because of misunderstanding and conflict with captain my flight was canceled by him. І don’t remember his name correctly but it was five letters and both vowels (2,4) were “E”. Could you please to let him know that І would like to apologize for my behavior and assure him that it was nothing against him but more about hormonal issues which І believe every woman has more or less during the pregnancy. It is a really big issue for me and my body now. Once again, І do apologize for my actions and that conflict. І didn’t mean it.

Cons: See volume issue from earlier.

Pros: The crew, food, and choice of entertainment.
Cons: Customer service in Istanbul was tribble . No help at all with any kinds of questions and issues. The airport staff were unbelievably rude and non responsive, as if they were there to turn off the passengers. Will never travel with any airlines that has to stop in Turkey

Pros: Friendly staff good food. Good selection of movies.
Cons: Might just be a cultural thing but the boarding was a clusterfuck. Not really any order compared to flying out. Everyone just kind of lined up without any regard to the boarding groups.

Pros: Food and service were good ,good entertainment
Cons: Seats were really uncomfortable ,there were problems with boarding ,good wasn't sufficient

Pros: The food was the best airplane food I've ever had and the alcohol was free. (By contrast, our SAS flight cost nearly twice as much, left two hours late, causing us to miss our connection, the food was medicore, and the alcohol cost extra). The warm towels were a nice touch. I also appreciated the video regarding in-seat stretching exercises, which were particularly helpful on a long flight. It was nice to board from both the the back and the front of the plane.
Cons: The seats were too cramped for an 11+ hour flight. One minor annoyance: the flight left in the morning and remained sunlit the whole way as we were heading west. The passenger behind us was trying to sleep and complained to the crew about our shade being up even though she was not wearing the eye covers the crew had given everyone. The crew asked us (politely) more than once to put the shade down, but the electric light was not sufficient for our reading. I don't fault the crew for trying to accommodate an unhappy passenger, but it was an imposition on us as well.

Pros: Plane was more comfortable this time. I was able to put seat back a bit to sleep.
Cons: Food choices were poor. For a long flight, it would be ideal to offer things for people with allergies. As a celiac, I was unable to eat most of what they offered me and there were not a lot of options. This is difficult on such a long flight.

Pros: Excellent service, staff and food. All flights ran smooth, food and beverages were great and service from the crew was beyond great. During the fight, besides the food and drinks, we had lots of entertainment and games in the tv devices. I will definitely fly with Turkish Airlines again in the future.

Pros: Boarding was timely. Would be helpful if you started lines by boarding group so there is some semblance of order.
Cons: Overhead announcements were difficult to understand. Cabin Crew were inefficient in their service, going back and forth numerous times because they forgot this or that. There's no point requesting a special meal if you have dietary restrictions, because they don't seem to have a way of knowing you've made the request.

Pros: Desserts were good. Food variety and options were good. Comfort/Entertainment on flight were exceptional. Timely take off and landing.
Cons: The variety of food was nice, but the main coarses were below average-Dry chicken as well as over cooked pasta. Trash wasn't collected often enough. Flight crew were friendly enough, but I raved about last years Turkish Airlines flight, but this year it was just so-so and I'm not exactly sure why.

Pros: Very friendly airline, on time always, good in-flight entertainment¿

Cons: I was disappointed that the airline proactively cancelled the flight I booked and then refused to rebook me onto another airline and failed to offer me a return home within 24 hours of the flight I'd originally booked. Then, when trying to resolve the situation, the airline repeatedly gave me the runaround, directing me to talk to various people in person, and on the phone, before finally making clear that they wouldn't rebook me. Why waste my time and give me false hope if they weren't going to do it?

Pros: Decent food & entertainment but that doesn't change the fact that my flight didn't actually go to my destination, which is the purpose of booking a flight after all, no?
Cons: Rerouted us to Adana without warning. No help in rebooking flights. No instructions as to what we were supposed to do. Had to stand in several very long lines - incredibly disorganized. Lost an entire day of my trip.

Pros: The entire inflight experience was great from start to finish.
Cons: I approached the Transfer Desk when there was no line and asked the person working if it was possible to switch to an exit row seat because of my height. The man helping me lied to my face and told me that he could not make the change because the flight was full. when I got on the plane, there were over two dozen empty seats. It was very clear that he just did not want to invest the few seconds it would take to address my concern, or give me a credible reason why he could not make the change.

Pros: The Knowledge that I would never fly Turkish airline again
Cons: Cancelled flights without contacting me Delayed takeoff for 9 hours. Took off knowing they would not be able to land in Istanbul and dropped us off in Izmir Did not cover the cost of food at the hotel in Izmir. Took us to a hotel over an hour away from the airport

Pros: Comfort of the plane and pleasant crew. Food was terrific.
Cons: Might have liked more option of current movies.

Pros: The flight attendants were lovely, they worked smoothly and did their best to manage an unpleasant situation. The facilities are also excellent, and as always, the fresh flowers and hand lotion and such in the toilets was a nice touch.
Cons: The food was not up to standard this flight, mostly passable, but our pasta inexplicably tasted chlorinated, as if the noodles had ben boiled in pool water. It's a mild complaint, though. Plane food isn't always sterling. The true problem, unfortunately, was in the form of other passengers. Despite having an excess of available space to stretch out, our seats were surrounded by utterly out-of-control children. Crying babies is understandable, it can't be helped, but if your children are running up and down the aisles [including during the landing], sitting on other passengers [myself in particular], and lying down in the aisle to sleep [and the flight attendant had to ask multiple people whose child that one was because no one wanted to own up, apparently] they have no business being on a plane. I don't even care about the annoyance at this point, their behaviour was inherently unsafe and the parents just didn't care.

Cons: Turkish airlines do not care at all about passengers from other countries (other that western Europe and USA) - my flight was cancelled but the airline reps did not bother to tell 150 plus passengers until the end... passengers got angry and one rep took us to the hotel desk, confusing with boarding passes and passport control on the way - forcing us to waster 3-4 hours; we were provided hotel accomodation at midnight (flight was supposed to take off at 9 pm - maybe they were avoiding to spend on out meals???

Pros: Even in economy, TK serves two full meals, with beer/wine as beverage options. They also give an overnight bag with slippers and other helpful goodies
Cons: The level of service by the cabin crew was really disappointing. One of the flight attendants asked me to switch seats with the woman seated next to me (although I had pre-selected my seat). I obliged, although I think that the cabin crew and/or gate agents should have given more thought to giving her a better seat assignment, like a bulkhead seat. This woman was uncommonly large with mobility problems, so it was difficult for me to get up when I wanted to. The entertainment system malfunctioned about an hour into the flight, and I had to flag down a cabin crew member on 3 separate occasions to ask them to look into it. No one ever bothered to follow up or attempt to resolve the problem. To make matters worse, the entertainment system is connected to the entire electrical system, so I couldn't use the "call cabin crew" button, or the overhead light - meaning I was stuck in the dark for HOURS. Only after I demanded to be given another seat did anyone do anything, and with zero apologies.

Pros: DC to Istanbul: Good food and nice flight experience. Helpful staff were always ready to help. Istanbul to DC: clean, maintained aitcraft, nice crew, good food.
Cons: DC to Istanbul: Broken bathroom lock. Not very clean aisles. Very few English speaking crew. Istanbul to DC: Ran out of second option lunch. This seem to happen frequently. Most of the crew members were strangely not around. This resulted in two overworked crew members and lots of trays sitting on our laps for sometime. I was curios what all the other ones were doing.

Pros: Free beer, edible food, free tote bag with earplugs blindfolds and (crappy) ear phones
Cons: Very small seats, long layover in airport with minimal entertainment options, security risks of spending layover in terrorist attacked airport, flying from prague we had to fly 3 hours East only to fly 12 hours West...24 hours of travel to fly from eastern Europe is not necessary. Next time I'll pay more and avoid flying through Istanbul.

Pros: Choice of in-flight entertainment was excellent.
Cons: N/A

Pros: Great flight/airline, but boarding was a hot mess!
Cons: Overall, we had a great flight and will probably fly with the Turkish Airlines again. But boarding was an absolute mess: the "secure" gate area was tiny and way too small to accommodate all the people on the flight, and the temperature in that area of the terminal was blistering hot. Combined with an organization that was messy, let's just say that all of us were REAL happy when we finally boarded the plane.

Pros: the flight from Istanbul to the U.S. was amazing, I watch 3 great movies and some wonderful meals. Even though I,flew economy I,felt like it was business class - foot rest pillow and blanket and they hand out hot towels and packs with toothbrushes and socks and slippers. I will definitely. Fly. Turkish Air again based on,this very positive experience
Cons: There was one flight attendant who, thought she was all that ..she was rolling her eyes at passengers and had a snotty look on,her face.

Pros: the crew, meal, flight, every thing was excellent
Cons: It was nothing about the flight itself but the about the Istanbul terminal. If Turkish airlines wants more people to travel through Turkey should improve the following: 1- Should make free Wifi available to every one. 2- Should keep the bathrooms clean at the terminals.

Pros: Food / service / timeliness
Cons: NA

Pros: The movie
Cons: Boarding in Istanbul. We did not know the gate number until one hour before departure, because there were only 3 monitors in the area that we sat in and there are so many flights, so the flight did not appear on those monitors. Only the one main monitor in in the center of the airport is large enough and there are not seats in that area.

Pros: Nice entertainment, nice services, very kind service crew
Cons: Everything was so good i can't say; i didn't like something

Pros: Nice goody bags and special treatment for the kids, and thoughtful that they brought kid-friendly headphones. All the comforts the airlines used to give for free are still there on Turkish, with no extra charges for food/checked bags, etc. Great food, they got our special vegetarian meals correct (as opposed to a big hassle on another airline). Very comfortable flight.

Pros: Best movie selection, best food. They even came around with pieces of Turkish delight right after we took off. Turkish Air makes it worth flying through Istanbul to get to western Europe!!

Pros: Food was great, wish gluten free had been an option! Amazing staff!
Cons: The movie selection was excellent. However, were those movies pirated? They had unusual openings that made it appear they were non-copyrighted versions. Not enough leg room.

Pros: I enjoyed receiving food on the flight with real silverware, a warm roll and friendly service. Having a choice of entertainment was also nice. Best of all, I like the fact that the airlines offers a guided tour of Istanbul in English during a layover there; I only wish I'd read that in the in-flight magazine before going off on my own to sightsee.
Cons: I didn't like the multiple screenings to get on the plane, but suspect that was more a decision of the airport than the airlines. Being singled out for extra screening wasn't my favorite either!

Pros: For a long flight, most were able to sleep. The crew was very busy during the first couple hours and also very present. Movie choices were wonderful. I was lucky enough to have an empty seat next to me although when the man in front of me reclined, his head was practically in my lap.
Cons: After first service, the crew disappeared. I get very thirsty and was in need of water more often than they were willing to pass it out. I did not go to galley to request additional water, which likely would have been provided! Passengers made a MESS in aisles & lavs, which was not picked up thru the flight.

Pros: Loved the food service.
Cons: The cabin was very hot? How do they work like that? I'm surprised the flight attendants didn't get heat stroke. Anyway, I suppose its cultural as I noticed a lot of places overly heated in turkey.

Pros: Staff was welcoming, accommodating and very courteous. The seats were comfortable and they had a great selection of movies to keep me occupied on 2 overnight 8 and 10 hour flights. Food was good too!

Pros: Boarding process and customer service
Cons: Food could have been better and seating comfort

Pros: Crew was great!
Cons: Flight was delayed 3 hours

Pros: Airport
Cons: Cancellation with little notice and rebooked on flight two days later.

Cons: Tight cabin on Regional aircraft.

Pros: There is no built in entertainment system. Download the app on your phone to be able to watch movies in flight.
Cons: Not much room in economy class.

Pros: Exceptional service and staff
Cons: Food isn't usually this subpar.

Pros: Seating is more spacious then most
Cons: Customa in yul is a bit of a hassle, but not that bad.

Pros: On board crew was friendly and capable.
Cons: My first and last flight on the CRJ 9. It's much less comfortable than a prop plane, for a 90 minute+ flight.

Pros: The flights went smoothly overall. The crew was friendly.
Cons: The movie selection on the tv was limited.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Canceled flight , delayone day , I should rebook by myself by calling the air canada call center I will considre next time when reseving with Air Canada , and Kayak because you didn't even know what happen with me , I took flight to London next day since my flight was canceled

Pros: Airplane was very clean. Flight was smooth and timely
Cons: Food was terrible. Certain attendant was condescending and rude for absolutely no reason.

Pros: Crew was excellent
Cons: Entertainment system did not work for the first two hours

Pros: The flight got me to my destination.
Cons: Cramped seating.

Pros: Service food on time flights
Cons: No movie for such a long flight.

Pros: Seats are very uncomfortable. Air Canada used to be one of the best airlines in North America now I would rate them as one of the worst! Every since they started the air Canada rouge flights. Most uncomfortable seats in the business. Also staff from call center to check in are rude and act like they are doing you a favor.
Cons: Direct flight

Pros: The crew was professional and polite

Cons: Return flight was delayed over 6 hours. Too many hours spent unnecessarily in airport. The delay in this flight cost me a day without work. We landed in Toronto @ 5:30 am. Out of security by 6 am. My shift at the hospital started at 7 am. I have never had a flight delayed to this extent, especially without an explanation. My nephew was on flight 1894 from Toronto. Everything was fine when they checked the ETD. They arrived at YYZ at 1300 only to finally board 12 hours later. Totally unacceptable.

Cons: Flight delays

Pros: On time and quick and simple

Pros: That I was able to play it on my phone
Cons: Flight attendants passed by me without asking if I would like to buy lunch and when she finally she came by they didn't have anything else

Cons: Air canada does not inform that flights from us are considered local and they will charge tou for every checked bag

Pros: Boarded on time. Left on time. Arrived earlier than estimated. Excellent flight crew service.

Pros: The flight attendant was trying very hard to comfort passengers with very cheerful attitude. She was a savior of the flight.
Cons: The way the ground crew handled the delay such as the way explaining (or lack of) the cause of delay to the passengers after the 5 hour of extra waiting.

Cons: didnt like the cabin crew attendants. Only 1 I interacted with gave off the impression of friendly. When they canceled the flight, the information they sent to me was inaccurate and during the rescheduling process people were short with me and it took forever. When inquiring about a refund so I could find a faster flight home, they told me they couldnt confirm the amount I might be refunded, but it would be hardly anything. Therefore, forcing me to be almost a day late getting home.

Cons: There was cold air blowing on our feet the entire flight.

Pros: It was a quick flight
Cons: The attendants on the flight were very unprofessional - they laughed the entire time during our boarding and safety demo. They were more interested in talking to the ground crew outside then welcoming the guests on their flight.

Pros: Polite and friendly crew
Cons: Connection was a hectic with staff sending up and down to get our boarding passes. TSA had short lines but long wait and a lot of attitude.

Pros: Crew was wonderful I was very glad that the Toronto boarding person recommended that i get on the flight as there were still empty seats -- there were no seats on the next flight that i had been switched to because my bag was on that one (supposedly)...
Cons: My bag was not on the next flight, so i had to get a hotel room for the nite, It was not on the 8/14/16 Sunday morning flight as stated their system; although the Dulles manager was very helpful, my bag was nowhere to be found. Someone drove to Dulles from Va Beach with my car keys -- i was called sunday nite that bag arrived.and would be fedex'd 2-day which put arrival at Wed 8/17/16. Still not here on 8/20/16. Sad and disappointed at how botched the return trip was.

Pros: The helpdesk was helpful when I got a hold of someone. The compensation was decent.
Cons: I bought my round trip ticket from DC to Paris via Toronto since March 2016. But the flight back from Toronto to DC was overbooked and I got bumped off the flight. The agents were severely understaffed and had no information about the situation. Also, when I finally got the flight back to DC, my luggage was lost.

Pros: Boarded late but quickly.
Cons: Plane was very old and it showed

Pros: Nothing
Cons: The airline failed to mention transit visa rules. Really poor customer service. Irrespective of what time of the day you call, the average wait time is 30 min. Who can wait for 30 min to receive his/her call. That's stupid for a premium air line. Even when someone answered they failed to provide a solution and were unsympathetic to my cause

Pros: Super fast and easy process. Glad I flew air Canada
Cons: I had to pay for the food for my 4hr flight. It use to be that you were provided the food at no additional cost.

Pros: They were on time and the flight crew was very nice.
Cons: The seats and the plane was just too small for such a long flight.

Cons: Customs was disorganized and we were sent to the back of the line twice. The people working there didn't know what they were doing. Then our flight was delayed 3 separate times, first 2 hours, then another hour, then another hour. The seats on the plane were made for children. Luckily it was only a 1 1/2 hour flight.

Cons: Terrible all around. About 10 total delays and one on flight delay totalling 7 hours. No information except lies was given the whole time.

Pros: Nothing

Cons: Lost bag

Cons: Everything from customer service to flight.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: 7 hour delay combined with the most rude airline staff I have ever met.

Cons: Again, more delays.

Pros: This flight left without us due to delayed arrival on Air Canada flight from Seoul to Toronto. The positive was that it was one Air Canada flight I didn't get on.
Cons: Due to lack of available options to get to ANY DC area airport before the evening the day after we were supposed to arrive, I accepted going to Philadelphia. That flight was also delayed. From there I rented a car and got home at 3 a.m. instead of 9:45 p.m., about when we would have gotten home on the original flight. If we had waited for the next available flight to the DC area, it would have arrived some time after 2:48 p.m. the day after we were supposed to arrive. I know this because I was told this was the fastest route to DC--before the same Air Canada agent then told me that it was no longer available. A dreadful experience.

Pros: It was a quick flight.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: The departure postponed several times. The comfort in those parts of Toronto and Dulles airport which us Canada express is absent at all. There are no even seats enough for all passengers.

Pros: My Flight was canceled without us getting any notification and causing major delays and headaches with NO offer for compensation to help e.g. with a $70 taxi we had to incur to get from DCA to IAD. Poor service

Cons: Some staff were very personable and some were the opposite.

Pros: The crew got us out of Toronto very quickly
Cons: The incredibly small overhead bins

Pros: no entertainment or food. drink service got to back of the airplane about 5 minutes before beginning descent. Problems though were all before getting on the plane. Will not fly through Pearson again.
Cons: After 12-hour flight from Tokyo, found flight to Dulles cancelled, with no adequate passenger assistance. Few staff to deal with issues and no familiarity with DC airports, IT support for the few staff available was poor. At re-booked flight gate, the area service desk unattended for an hour; finally found a helpful ground crew who said they are on break and got staff to service the desk, albeit grudgingly. Several flights delayed, in the horrible Gates F-84-99 area; confusion reigned supreme. Staff needs to understand that Dulles is way west of DC and BWI is way NE, so getting re-routed from Dulles to BWI is MAJOR change in ground transportation options and distances. Also need to update IT programming so staff can use it easily without long waits and calls for help. and some air conditioning in the F 84-90 gates area would be nice. Horrible situation--not enough seating, only service in whole area is one bagel shop.

Cons: This plane was very late! I understand this happens a lot.

Cons: Slow boarding. No space for carry ons. Leg room less.

Cons: The baggage checkin was awful. The boarding check in was awful. The security check in was awful. The customs check in was awful. Understaffed and inefficient. The baggage conveyor backed up. The same staff that checked in our baggage was the same person who then ran upstairs to check us in at gate and it was all hand done and not computer scanned. No check in kiosks to make ticket checkin faster. Lines were all backed up and I barely made flight and my connection. Many either missed flights it connection or plane was held up to get people to flights. The lady at customs check in was good trying to handle the back ups but the shrine was severely backed up and understaffed. The pilots made good time and handle the turbulence well. Staff on board did well with timing of food and drinks Entertainment on board was awful. Didn't find out until on board on 8 hour international flight that needed an iPad with downloaded app for entertainment and therefore I had three kids that had nothing to do. Never did I have such an issue with an international flight that was so poorly managed. So disappointed.

Cons: seats are terrible.

Pros: Always good movies
Cons: Overall everything is good , with the actual situation I font think is a problem with the airline or employee

Pros: Crew is good
Cons: Delay is a problem, am late for second fly

Pros: Friendly crew
Cons: Security staff short with passengers

Pros: The seat was comfortable and the crew was accommodating.

Cons: It was a mess from start to finish. Ridiculous lines. Ridiculous covid rules. They have us all shoulder to shoulder in tiny waiting areas then suddenly we get on line to board and have to stand six feet apart and then on the plane we are squashed all together anyway. It’s all so stupid. Not having the ability to get a boarding pass from the online app or printed made me have to wait in a line 300 people long to access the kiosk and then half of them were down. Then another line maybe 500 people long just to be allowed up the escalator to where there is another line to go through exuding checks. Nuts!!! My flight was an hour and I spent three hours online getting to it!!!

Pros: The crew was great as was the check in crew.
Cons: The comfort of the seat and leg space.

Cons: Less people because of COVID

Pros: Friendly helpful flight crew
Cons: Entertainment wasn’t working well at all

Cons: The plane was extremely full. No chance of social distancing.

Pros: Same
Cons: Hire better competent people

Cons: They over sold the flight. Also they had numerous passengers on the flight that were not wearing/using a mask

Pros: There were only snacks, no setback entertainment
Cons: Add a meal and seatback entertainment

Cons: Counter at Asheville, point of origin for the flight, was unattended at recommended arrival time. Attendant, when he finally appeared, seemed, to this traveler at least, unengaged, abrupt, even rude, certainly not as welcoming and helpful ad other UA counter attendants at busier airports and at more demanding times. The word lazy comes to mind. The same individual handled the gate. His demeanor there was similar. If it is UA policy to leave counters unattended, an explanation should be posted; if present policy requires one individual to handle counter and gate duties, perhaps more help is needed. This experience, all the more frustrating when a passenger ruses early so as to comply with recommended arrival and boarding times, combined with the fact that the incoming flight significantly delayed AVL to Washington depart setting the tone for a mostly mediocre experience crowned by a painful trek from terminal A to terminal C to catch the connection to PVD. Not a best effort by UA. Outstanding flight and cabin crews saved the day.

Pros: Nothing
Cons: Luthsansa sent the reminder 30 prior the flight that was a delay on the flight operated by United. I called customer service they do don’t helped and hanged up twice. Finally after waiting for an hour on the airport the same flight was change 4 times more. A manager in United got us in a different flight but we arrived 40 minutes later to Madrid and missed our connection to our other flight. I had to buy a one way expensive tickets because my connection was loss due to the issues with the FL rigth from Charlotte

Pros: Cost
Cons: Aircon too cool

Pros: The crew on the flight were very friendly, very attentive and always smiling. They took great care of the passengers and in particular a woman with a crying baby. It didn't bother me at all, but I know the parents were concerned and the flight attendants were so kind and helpful. The food was truly fantastic, and served hot and with a smile. They repeatedly asked us about water, as the cabin was dry. I would give the crew an A+!
Cons: My husband and I have not flown for several years and have always enjoyed past flights. However, it seems as if the seats have much less leg room than years ago. I am only 5 foot 4 inches, and was very uncomfortable. My husband is 6 feet tall and he was miserable. Sleeping on this 9 hour flight would have been helpful, but due to the cramped seating, it was pretty much impossible. The little pillow and blanket did help with some back support, but I guess making more money per flight is more important than comfort.

Pros: For the most part the staff made an attempt to help me get onto a flight. I think.
Cons: I had to go on my trip a few days later due to a work conflict. I never changed my itinerary because I didn’t think it mattered. I bought a new one way ticket on a different airline and went to get on my return flight that I had paid for and was still receiving emails about. I got to the airport to check in for my return flight and it had been canceled because I didn’t get on the first leg. I was never notified and they couldn’t get me on the flight I wanted because it was leaving in less than hour(which is a stupid rule). And to get me on a flight the next day would cost $2500. No thanks. And before anyone tells me that it’s in the fine print that they cancel a flight if you don’t show up, save it. We all know people don’t read all that. Be a human being. So if your plans change, make sure you officially change your plans, because they may go above, but probably not beyond. Oh and it took quite a long time for them to figure out what happened. If they had realized and I didn’t spend so much time on the phone with customer service, I might’ve been outside the hour window requirement.

Pros: Very comfortable flight

Pros: Highly professional and exceptionally courteous service by the cabin crew. Professionally dressed. Organized and dilligent. Customer friendly. The way an airline owner and CEO would want to be represented to the paying customer by a frontline segment of his/her organization. Best UAL/Lufthansa experience ever for me.
Cons: The ‘third world’ arrival handling by IAD. Ragged transporters. No intercom service or effort whatsoever to advise pax of apparent problem at main terminal. Turned off transporter engine and left us on the tarmac breathing diminishing air in the module and wondering what was going on. Mobile passport service ‘not working’ at jam-packed immigration. Luggage retrieval frustrated by problems or incompetence and finally located at an undesignated conveyor area. No kudos to IAD. All kudos to Lufthansa/UAL. One Exception was my ‘by chance’ immigration agent who for the first time ever for me at IAD said “welcome home” as he waved me on.

Pros: The flight went very smoothly from start to finish

Cons: 95% of my united flights are delayed. Today, they overbooked and asked for a volunteer. I did so and was offered a $1,500 compensation. Instead of 8:00, I would arrive at 11:00. I was very excited and patiently waited for the plane to board, so I coulD receive my new flight info. The flight is inevitably delayed, as it always is with this airline: I would have ended up missing my connection, so it seemed to work out well. However, they’re about to close the doors when the agent says “it’s not overbooked anymore” she gave me the option to so either get on that flight and wing it on my layover to find another flight, or go to Newark. But I needed to make a decision at that moment. The agent revoked the $1,500 because it was no longer overbooked and her demeanor immediately changed from The kind, accommodating agent she was when she needed me to give up my seat. She became short and rude. I got the last available seat because I was the last to board and was forced to check my bag because there was no more room. All because I was willing to change my travel plans. I get to my layover, and the earliest flight I could get would land at midnight with an additional layover. Oh! And the first class seat I was supposed to have on my second leg was not available. All of this was while I was seriously ill— throwing up, just wanting to be home. Honestly, I’ve never liked United. I constantly get over it, because it’s often the less expensive option. At this point, I am so sick of how they treat their customers, and their inability to depart on time. Last time I let them put me through this again.

Pros: Staff was friendly
Cons: United has a system glitch and we were delayed. I got in around 1 am instead of 11 pm. I decide to order a glass of wine and since they don’t give receipts. I found out i was charged for 2 glasses instead of one. To top it off the co-worker i was traveling with didn’t get charged due to the inconvenience and delay. i travel a lot with United (higher status than him) and would have liked that offer (and not get charged one i didn’t order) being a mileage plus and credit card holder. I did go on line and ask for a credit and they did make it right and give me a credit.

Pros: Easy check in. Good flight. Good food.

Cons: Had anightmare will complain to united diect

Pros: They staff was friendly and they boarded efficiently.
Cons: The worst part of the flight was the fact that they have redesigned their planes. They have put the seats even closer together and their new seats are horribly uncomfortable. The seats are made out of a hard molded plastic. There is no give and they don’t form to you back at all. Their comfort level I would rank at a zero! I had thought they may not be bad for a domestic flight as mine was international, however, I also had them for a domestic and they were equally uncomfortable. I will be checking off of United on my next flight as I can not sit in a seat this uncomfortable ever again! Try again United!!! #UnitedSeatsUncomfortable, #HorridSeats,

Pros: I was separated from my 4 year old and 7 year old children as well as our husband. We bought our tickets together but we're out on 4 different rows. I asked flight attendant for help and she was rude. She talked to my husband who was further in the back and came back and told everyone it was ok for my kids to not be with their parents because my husband said it was ok. It was not ok, it was awful. After I started crying someone finally traded spots. But I didn't like that my husband's wishes over Road mine, it was misogynistic and she was a woman, a very condescending women.
Cons: That our family was separated. That the female flight attendant talked down to me in a misogynistic way

Pros: Landing in Dulles
Cons: Poor boarding - had to walk steps with luggage, board a bus and wait for 10 mins in hot weather, then had to walk steps to plane with luggage. Plane - no place for cabin baggage and people had stuffed inefficiently their bags; crew did not seem to care Crew - did not care, pointing fingers at people like they do not know English, no sense of pride or commitment in their job; they might as well thrown food at us Food - bad, lucky we were hungry Entertainment screen - not working well Flight was smooth I do not know why Lufthansa partners with United Airlines.

Pros: The flight actually had hot food for sale! The cheeseburger was pretty good.
Cons: I had a really hard time getting the cabin crews' attention during boarding for a piece of safety equipment. I hit the call light, tried to catch them as the crew was distributing headphones, and the light got turned off by an off-duty flight attendant without checking that we needed something. I got it in the end with an apology from crew but I still don't feel terribly safe Also, the paid entertainment system that my neighbors purchased seemed to be down with static for a portion of the flight.

Pros: The crew were excellent and receptive to needs on the flight.
Cons: Baggage Claim was a nightmare. I did not receive a baggage ticket when I checked my bag in London. Part of that is my fault. I should have made sure I had one. It took an extra long time to get my bag. Everyone else had left the area from my flight and I approached the counter. The attendant at the counter was rude. She said she couldn't help me unless I had the baggage claim ticket. Which I get that, but it all comes down to how she said it to me. She went over to the carousel and said that my flights bags were still going around and at that time I saw my bag. I said there it is to her and she responds, well you can go get it yourself then. Just completely rude. It all came down to how she responded to me. I was freaking out at the prospect of my bag being lost and she responded as clipped and uncompassionately as possible.

Pros: The movies were good - glad it was free and nice selection
Cons: US Pre-clearance in Dublin was ridiculous. I don't know what else to say about it. They were even holding us going down the escalator to the actual screening part. It was just one crazy queue to another. Will definitely make me think about ever going through Dublin again.

Pros: The boarding was pretty good for this flight, seemed simple enough, everyone was pleasant. And I was near an exit, which offered sufficient leg room.
Cons: I was disappointed by a few things... 1. The staff didn't much care to be there. They seemed distant and unconcerned, although their words were supportive. I just got off a flight from Seoul to SF, with United (892) and they admittedly stated that they were understaffed (which was completely fine) and their attitudes were much more supportive than that of the following team (486), a flight from SF to IAD. 2. I was surprised, that on a 5hr flight, they only offered a half bag of mixed items and two rounds of beverages. I was sure that they would feed us something. However, if it's not the policy, I get it...but I asked if they had anything I could purchase, the flight attendant points me to the menu pamphlet and says that I could choose from there. I asked for the Chilled Chicken with Slaw and she promptly lets me know that they only have cheeseburgers, a protein box and Cheese. For a person who's lactose intolerant, I was again disappointed by the service--why ask me to go to the menu, if you knew there were only three items you were offering?? So I didn't order anything. 3. The entertainment blows my mind. I've flown with you guys like 8 times this year, and the app still does not work properly, however, before every flight, someone mentions over the intercom to be sure to download the app...but if it doesn't work...why offer it? Also, if there are tvs at the back of every headrest, the least you could offer is a random movie, versus the commercials about how great the app is, or whatever was scrolling along. Lastly, please note, I was trying to figure out a way to make a comment to United...but didn't want to sound TOOO disgruntled. I'm not opposed to flying with UA, absolutely not, but if any of these things are addressed, I definitely feel you will be making a massive improvement on what seems to be an airline that I'd think twice about taking. Feel free to e-mail or call me. I don't mean to sound rude...but having flown other airlines, and knowing that UA has been around for a while, i just hoped the experience would be better.

Pros: The cabin crew themselves were great. The pilots offered my child to go see the cabin and everyone on the actual plane was great.
Cons: The United employees at check in kiosk were very unorganized and unhelpful. I was traveling internationally with a small child and had two pieces of luggage to check in. Normally you just go to the counter once and they do everything including taking your luggage once they weigh it. Instead, I had to go to the self check in kiosk, then back to the counter to weigh my luggage, take off the one luggage from the scale, weigh the second one, then go back to the self check in kiosk, then was told to take off the second luggage as well, then finally went to a second counter where the lady handwritten my luggage tags and then was told to take both pieces of luggage and put them somewhere else altogether with specific directions on where to put them. This is something normally handled by the actual employees. Also, the check in dude yelled at my kid for putting in his name into the check in kiosk while we were waiting on the check in dude to do all those unorganized activities. He claimed it would break the software if my kid were to enter his name. I have told him that no, the software will not break if my child enters in his name.

Pros: The people were very nice! The entertainment although not easy to access was free. snacks were meh but ok. They did what they could to make us comfortable after flight was delayed 2.5 hours.
Cons: The flight was delayed for 2.5 hours was out of the control of the crew. They did what they could. But the plane was cramped. Not enough space. Everyone was cramped. We missed our connecting flight they put us up in a hotel and booked alternate flights. We had to stand out in the cold waiting for a shuttle to take us to the hotel. The hotel staff said more than once they were not prepared for all of us and getting us from airport to hotel and in rooms was almost another 2 hours. That gave us 3.5 hours to sleep before we started in the next journey. Of 4 hours from take off to landing in our home city. I had to pay for my baggage to go onto another airline.

Pros: There were maybe two of the flight attendants. Who weren't rude. The rest well, I guess didn't like there jobs? I lost all my money for my first flight, because i was over 4 hours late. When i purchased a ticket from cheapo air, the person helping me was so nice. Unlike United airlines, or Viama. When i missed my flight that i paid $1,300.00, United said they'd give me another ticket for $4,000? This was a one time offer to redeem my $1,300 Viama said $10,500? I will only buy my tickets from cheapo air from now on.
Cons: The flight attendants are very snotty, 2 out of the 18 I encountered were polite. The rest acted like they hated their jobs, and all the passengers. When you travel to another country they should have at least one person who speaks English. Can't really say much for the food, essentially requesting a vegetarian meal was out of the question, so i just starve. Drink some watered down booze, take a few dramamine and sleep. The layovers are ridiculous. 14 hours, 8 hours 4 hours? Good thing God made Beer and pizza.

Pros: Found what was expected from the flight. Hats up to the take off that happened on time in a busy airport.
Cons: Aircraft is tiny and seats are narrow.

Pros: They held the plane due to delays in customs

Pros: Aircraft with old decoration. Could not see a single smile from the crew.

Pros: Comfortable and enjoyable flight, efficient crew without delays.
Cons: Poor food - even going for the safe pasta option. Very disappointing & not enjoyable.

Pros: There wasn't a single thing I liked about flying with United.
Cons: Everything from customer service check-in to boarding. It was TERRIBLE. I was to have a wheel chair at check-in for my start in Fayetteville. Did this happen? NO!! The girl looked at me like I was CRAZY. I'm on crutches and having to wear a leg mobilizer with a blown MCL & meniscus. I did not get any help boarding my flight which happened to be an express flight. The young stewardess took my crutches from me the moment I stepped foot on the plane. And I couldn't get any help getting off the plane.

Cons: Recent airline corporation consolidation has greatly reduced consumer choice. The surviving major airlines, in their effort to cut costs, sacrifice quality control and assurance. Pittsburgh's status as "no longer a major hub" was on full display here. United needed to have customer service agents available on site, but they did not. The review could easily turn into an essay on United's complete failure (ask the remaining passengers who were supposed to be on the PIT-IAD), but such a review would not change the state of affairs in the airline industry. I will be contacting United reps to lodge an official complaint.

Cons: After having several flights with international airlines while in Thailand for the last 2 weeks, it was quite a disappointment to spent 12 hours on this UA flight. There was a 6-8 hour period during our flight were flight attendants did not ask or even consider walking the isles and asking the passengers if they needed any water or anything else. During several flights in Thailand, the attendants were constantly catering to every passengers' needs. The difference between the flight attendants from Bangkok to Tokyo compared to Tokyo to DC was worlds apart. The Japanese attendants were as friendly as ever and took care of all the passengers needs. The flight attendants were flat out rude. There was once event on this flight that I could not believe. A child of 5-7 years old had to go to the restroom with his mother. The flight attendant was collecting trash from our meal. Even though she knew the child was behind her and needed to go to the restroom, she would not stop collecting trash, move her cart so that the boy and his mother could get to the restroom. Instead, she continued collecting trash and made the boy wait until she was done. I feel embarrassed for the foreigners who were on this flight and this was their first impression of America and Americans. The main meal that was served was a breaded chicken patty served with a slurry of questionable gravy, rice, and a roll. I received better food on multiple 1 hour flights while in Thailand. The comfort level was what you would expect from most American airlines-tight and cramped. I will never book with United for another international flight.

Pros: Once I was on the flight it was fine except for the food which was decent
Cons: On my outbound flight from IAD to BRU my flight was delayed 3.5 hours because the "plane was late to arrive". Seems like this happens a lot on United flights. The staff at the gate of Dulles airport were extremely rude and difficult to deal with, which made it frustrating to try and figure out my connection situation. I missed my connection from Brussels to Paris and had to buy a train ticket for which I was not reimbursed by United. Then, on the way back from Paris, my flight was delayed 2.5 hours for the same reason. At least this time I had a direct flight. This entire experience makes me think twice about flying United again. I live in DC and it would be just as (in)convenient for me to go to BWI instead of Dulles for international flights, where there seems to be more options outside of flying United.

Pros: Legroom and seat size were terrific. For me, movie selection was great--best of 2015.
Cons: Luggage was delayed--apparently not transferred in Munich to United flight. Fortunately, it was only a 24-hour delay and contents arrived intact. But the explanation of what I could purchase to meet my immediate travel needs (toiletries, intimate garments) was indefinite and unclear and subject to reimbursement only if approved. Boarding was subject to additional security for flights to US in Munich airport where passport was checked yet again and stupid questions were asked and passengers were shuffled through a long queue.

Pros: In flight crew were friendly, professional, helpful. We appreciated frequent offers of water.
Cons: My husband, w/ recent collarbone fracture was not allowed to board early, so got stuck in a crush. Our neighbors to the front went into full recline mode ASAP and remained there for 8-1/2 hours- we were unable to reach our belongings on the floor or exit the seats without flight crew intervention - and we are 140#, moderate height! Seats this tightly packed should not recline! Somehow watching numerous economy plus seats remaining empty several rows ahead of us while we endured this was a sorry statement from the airline.

Pros: nice crew feeling safe had my luggage very fast (in the airport)
Cons: airport was VERY packed! I arrived to the gate 10 minutes before my flight. I asked for window seat (I was not able to make my seat online because of my passport) and they wanted me to pay 10 minutes before the flight for a window seat!! fortunately the plane crew let me sit on window seat since there were lots of empty window seats. The food was not good. The crew was trying so hard to give as less as possible. They were asking "do you want...?" before giving anything. You either need to be awake the whole flight or there is a good chance to miss meal!
