Cons: "This flight was purchased as business/first class and upon checking economy seat tickets were printed. We are NOT happy with the downgrade after American Airlines was more than happy to take our money for the higher class ticket. We would not have booked this flight as a red eye had we known we would have had economy seating. On top of which, the unseat entertainment for the row we were seated in was not working. I am usually quite happy with the American Airlines flights between Boston and LA, however this unexpected downgrade was not only surprising but extremely disappointing."

When I suggest to a staff member that perhaps they should keep customers informed, they said they couldn’t because they didn’t know. They helpfully suggested I google for information! Seriously!"

Cons: "The international flights Quantas runs are fine. Beware of JETSTAR this airline is somehow even worse than value airlines in the United States. They weigh bags at check in, harass customers, the worst experience I have ever had in the air. Fly anyone else. JETSTAR IS BEYOND TERRIBLE."
Pros: "The seats were smaller which is fine for a 1.5 hr flight but if I had to compare it to the first leg of the trip, these things stick out."

Refuse to fly on this airline any more until reasonable seat spacing is provided for price paid. Don't like standing up the whole flight because one cannot get into or out of seat."

Cons: "The passengers with a small child behind us were very noisy and bumping/pushing into our seat-backs way too much. The boarding was a bit chaotic. Defining the boarding sequence based on row numbers should help."

Cons: "Wasn’t able to check in on line. Was asked to pay for seat request on return flight. Passenger put seats as far as can go bashing into my knees (and I am average height. Not very tall), both 15-16 hour flights. It was awful and crew only insist chair is raised slightly for meals. none of my flights since joining frequent flyer were honoured scoring “0” points for flights from/back to US. Back to Delta I guess"

I have a business meeting tomorrow morning and presently they can't even reconcile their own Baggage Receipt number! I expect more when travelling (and paying) for business class."

Cons: "I’m not sure whose fault it was but we arrived late in Brisbane which caused multiple flyers and myself to miss our flight to Perth. There was no one at the Brisbane airport that attempted to help us solve this problem. No one ushered us through long lines or anything and just told use that, ‘oh well, you’re just going to miss your flight.’ Highly disappointed and in similar circumstances at other airports and with different airlines, I have had much better experiences."

Cons: "First I wasn't told I'd be going domestic . Arrived at the airport 4:30 to catch the internation flight @7:20. Funny thing is I was the only person around. There was the changing of shifts for ground & cleaning etc. No ticket booths. Put passport in kiosk,it said basically no. Finally a ticket agent showed up. She tried my passport ,and nothing. Checked threw the computer & it said leaving out of domestic. Go down to the end of the hall, can check in there. It's Qantas alright, not open till 7:00. Start to panic a bit. Stopped someone and asked. They told me I was at the wrong terminal! Get to other, check in. Ask if I have to collect luggage and customs at LAX. No goes right threw. Wrong. Waited for cases at LAX. Have to collect & go threw customs. No cases, lost in Melbourne. Then I was ignored."

Cons: "To get to the gate for boarding was like going from Terminal 2 to Terminal 7 too far for many people to walk and to eventually find when you are not familiar with the airport, thought for a minute Qantas had not paid their airport duties."

Cons: "If you are going to travel with a little one, have the common decency to help your poor wife take care of them as well. You had three seats, the entire middle aisle, yet you decided to take the open seat next to me so they could lay down together. That was nice, I get it, sure. But if your baby is going to cry for hours (and hours, it was a 10.5 hour flight, that poor kid must have been exhausted), pause the movie for a minute, and maybe try to help. I don't mind being inconvenienced for the little ones, I'm a dad of 4 myself, I've traveled a lot and know how it goes. But jesus christ, she's your wife, that's your child, try taking care of them."

Cons: "I think the service of offering passengers to order their food online prior to the flight is nice, but in practice is inefficient and frustrating at service time. We chose not to order in advance as we didn't know what we wanted. I was annoyed and frustrated to have to wait for the crew to go to and fro with meals and drinks to the pre-ordered customers before being offered our meal. I imagine that if the entire flight preordered their meal, it was also not work so well..."

I first flew w Qantas in 2005 in business class, and since then i have downgraded. But the attitude hasn't changed. It's as if we are doing service by choosing Qantas...."

Pros: "I cannot thank the Qantas staff enough for our recent, very smooth trip from Melbourne to Dubai. I was a little worried about the 14 hour trip since I am 7 months pregnant and wanted to be sure I had enough room to move about as needed. Both the desk and plane staff arranged for my husband and myself to have 4 seats to ourselves (luckily, it wasn't a full flight!) which allowed me to rest and put my feet up (literally!) through our long journey. They also checked on us frequently to make sure we were comfortable throughout. Thanks so much Qantas, we will definitely be traveling with you again with our little one in tow!"

Cons: "I ordered gluten free food and it was really bad. 1 fresh apple in the 24 hour flight. For some reason, the people who design this food think that just because a person is gluten free, you can give them the worst gluten free bread! Just leave out the bread and make the food a bit more fresh and interesting."

Cons: "My window seat was further from window than normal so could not lean against it to sleep. My overhead light was not positioned properly, so did not help much. It was centered between me and person beside, so while she slept and I wanted to use, I couldn't. Also had to push against connection plugging earphones in to make work. It was a constant effort and made hand sore. And even at best the sound was poor."
