Cons: "Over 5 hours in delay due to a maintenance issue. Problem wasn't discovered overnight when it was parked. Wasn't discovered until the next day. Had to wait for the delivery of a specific part and install it. I'm all for planes not breaking upon reentry, but the fact that the two flights were both subsequently delayed 4-5 hours each instead of bringing in a sub plane was inconsiderate. Now I've got a long drive home and I'll only get an hour of sleep before a 14-hour work day. So thanks for that, JetBlue"

Pros: "My daughter has a very severe peanut allergy. She was treated very well on her flight yesterday. Even though Jet Blue doesn't serve peanuts on their flights, they still gave her a pre-boarding pass so she could wipe down her area just in case someone on an earlier flight had something that could have caused a reaction. They also created a "barrier" around her by specifically talking to people in the seats around her and asking that they not open their own snacks that may contain peanut or peanut products. Thank you, thank you, thank you, Jet Blue!!! We will definitely use you again!!"

They tried very hard to make sure everyone had their luggage with them, which I thought was very nice as I have not seen that in any other airplane. Cons: "I came 40min prior to my flight and found out that it was too late to check in my bag. I rescheduled my flight for $50 fee to make sure I get in in time for my meeting. When I went inside, I found out that my original flight got delayed and was leaving only 15min earlier than my new flight, which then got delayed for another 45min...disaster. Essentially, I paid extra $50 for nothing. In fact, I would have been on my original flight and gotten to my meeting in time had they not had you are on your own attittude toward customers."

Cons: "Wouldn’t let us take our carry-on because they had overbooked and had no more room in overhead. Delayed our first flight and then our connecting flight left *early*. (If you know you have customers with short connections, why leave early to make their connections even shorter?) Then told us they would not pay for our hotel since it wasn’t their fault. Gave us a “discount” with a nearby hotel that was more expensive than what you could book it for online. Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."

Cons: "The vents above my entire row of seats did not work, meaning there was never any air coming out even when they were fully open. This made for a long, hot, claustrophobic ride. The flight attendants seemed first disbelieving and later unconcerned that no air came out of our vents. I doubt they even reported them as broken after the flight. Delta's new boarding process is absolute chaos. More than half the plane had no seats assigned until 20 minutes before boarding, and the seats were displayed on a screen a good 25 feet away from the gate, meaning people had to constantly walk back and forth between the doorway and the screen. The gate agents were clearly overwhelmed. If this is how Delta is organized now, I won't be flying on them again."

Flight staff ripped up guests boarding pass in face. Staff allowed ys to board plane and put our bags under plane and then crew timed out before take off. Never will use Delta again."

Cons: "After waiting patiently through a 3 hour delay we were inbound to Minneapolis. We were set to arrive at 9:45 pm and there were multiple 10 pm connections. Delta flew into the furthest gate away, didn't communicate with the connecting flights to give it 5 more minutes and didn't have transportation waiting to bring us top our connections. After ruining across the entire length of the MSP concourse I arrived at 9:58 only to be told they already left. Worst communication I've ever seen. Delta should be ashamed."

The gentleman working the register was very pleasant and was a welcome personality so early in the day. As a service member, I would like to thank him for his service. He was consistent in asking patrons whether they’d like to purchase a travel kit for the troops. A few patrons were abrupt and responded rudely but he maintained a level head and pressed on. Great attitude and professionalism. Thank you very much for your support! Also, I was able to get my Military discount applied towards my purchase which enabled me to purchase 1 travel kits for my fellow service members. A little goes a long way and when returning from deployments or coming home for R&R, it tends to be hectic and I, myself have often forgotten toiletries which I was able to get from the USO. The USO staff were also friendly and did an amazing job handling all of the personnel that funneled in, exhausted. Great attitudes and clean facilities. I would love to see an expansion to this USO location. They were full up this day, thank you for having this available to us! TSgt Angela Santiago Otero, USAF"

Lo que fue horrible, el olor, los pasajeros haciendo fila al lado de mi asiento todo el tiempo, sin poder descansar o estar tranquila. Comprendo que pueden haber descompuestos en el avión y cambiarlo por otro pero al menos al re asignar asientos deberían ver los lugares iniciales que tenía cada uno y no dejar a quienes habían solicitado con anticipación los primeros en el último, literalmente en los últimos puestos. Además la comida es bastante mala."

Cons: "Our flight to Nashville AND our flight back to Dallas were both delayed due to "maintenance". Each time was a delay of a couple of hours causing us to miss both of our original layover flights. As a result, we missed TWO very important business meetings that ended up costing us over $10,000! We were unable to provide paychecks to employees! After spending 2 entire days sitting in the airport waiting, we were offered a "food voucher" for $30, were advised to go pick up our luggage first, but they failed to mention we would be unable to get back through DFW airport security just to eat!! We had to take a taxi back to our hotel for over $100 and they didn't offer help with that or anything else. This airline is the worst!!! Unless there is significant compensation offered, I will do anything and everything to destroy their reputation further. I'm in the marketing industry and am very capable of getting the word out to millions. American Airlines... 9/11...Never Forget."

Cons: "The seats are so very narrow that having extra legroom doesn't really matter - only a child or a very, very thin person will find these seats anywhere near adequate. Food (which went flying or falling into my lap as I tried to eat without elbowing my neighbor) was laughably bad, even the crew said they were embarrassed to be serving it. On that note, the crew did not seem happy with the airline, and agreed that economy on the 788 is one of the worst cabins they fly. Entertainment options were good, but when the person in front of you reclines, so does the screen, so if you want to stay more upright you can't really see the screen well. By far one of the worst economy experiences I have ever had. I will go out of my way to chose alternate routes in the future, even going via MIA to avoid the 788."

Cons: "I don't understand how a flight can be delayed and late by 40 minutes when it's the very first flight in the morning due to the plain not starting right. We have to be there early to check in why would pilot and attendants get there early to make sure plan is ready and everything checked before starting on boarding process. Heck drive the plane around to test everything. Also what's up with 1 small cookie when people pay hundred of dollars for a delayed flight. Treat everyone like first class. Better seats. Seats are way to small. And maybe lunch should come with the flight or a bottle of water and a full bag of chips. We pay a lot for those flights. After all it's so expensive to by food in the airport then you wait and find out the flight is delayed."

The lady that helped me at first literally had me making an unnecessary stop, and arriving another 2 hours later, and I STILL would have missed my second flight due to the delay of the first fligh. Thankfully Michelle was very helpful, and switched me over to American Airlines"

Another reason not to fly United Airlines! Everett Johnson, Bellevue Wash."

Cons: "United Economy Plus bulkhead was awful. I was seated in seat 7D - there was no bulkhead for me or middle seat - just a curtain. The screens and tiny pockets were only accessible over another passenger. The seat stuck out into the aisle so I was bumped by 200 other passengers at least once - not to mention the flight crew. Finally I had my emotional support dog with me and the crew told me I should. It be in that seat - the seat was assigned by the United Accessibikity Desk as a good one for a service animal - and I had zero choice in the matter. Baggage claim at SFO took over 45 minutes to start -I was home in San Francisco in only 20 minutes after getting my bag."

Stuck on the tarmac, again, for 2 hours with my 7 month old baby, barely tolerable employees, ripped my stroller bag and didn't want to pay for it.... I'm done with United! If you wanna be the best and not a bottom feeder try taking a look at southwest"

Cons: "Mechanical problems made flight late. Got to connecting gate 1 min before scheduled departure. Doors closed. Agent said they close doors 10 minutes before flight leaves, so I had no chance. United not overly helpful with alternate flights and arrangements. To make business mtgs, I asked to fly to alternate airport and drive in. United no help with rental car. Had to be very persistent to get a hotel room covered."

The same attendant was very rude to a family with a small child and a man trying to put away his baggage at the start of the flight. I will avoid united in the future if possible."

Cons: "People at the check-in did not know the Canadian laws (related to travel) and I almost missed my flights. It took them more than 45 min to figure out that they made a mistake and not me. My flight started to board when I finally got tickets in my hands, and made it to the gate just about 3 minutes before they closed it."

They didn't tell us up front what they were dealing with and there was an odd sound and for a few moments the smell of jet fuel wafted in. It was frightening, especailly since the noise persisted and there was no further information offered. When we were set to get back on the runway we were told it was a cargo door that was the issue and that all was well. I would have appreciatted being told what the nature of the problem was initially so that we could know if it was mechanical, engine related etd."

When the flight attendant moved the family on the other side of the aisle to a row with a window, my son and I got up to move into their seats, so we could give the poor guy in the corner (without a window) more room. She said no, because “we have to keep the last row open for emergencies”. Really? Then why was it booked to begin with? Tiny seats, flight attendants who don’t understand service, and not so much as a free drink of water after giving up our water at security. I’m not impressed."

I could have flown on another airline whiteout the charge for the same money w more comfort and space and entertainment. Will not fly Spirit again. Ticket agent says it is worthless and TSA agent says he has no idea what that is and you go through the regular checkpoint anyway"

Pros: "Our plane was delayed by 3 hours and we were being told it was just going to be another 15 minutes or a half hour the entire time. Then they just gave us a replacement plane at the last minute. It ruined work that was due for me. When I asked if there would be any, small consolation, the stewardess laughed at me and told me it wasn't their fault. I was thinking something reasonable to un-piss off the hundred plus passengers who were inconvenienced. And yes, indeed it was their fault. The rough landing happened and those passengers were ill in the conditions that the pilot chose to risk and land. Risk assessment happened, risk resulted in consequences. But not even an apology besides the Captain. It was too dangerous, but the crew offered for us to purchase anything still. It was the worst flying experience I've had and that isn't hyperbole. I've had flights cancelled and felt more satisfied than this, because they didn't laugh and belittle me and the airlines apologized profusely and it absolutely was out of their control. Compensation could have been just an apology or a pleasant flight experience, but we were hustled and treated very rudely. I wouldn't be surprised if the risk taken to land under dangerous conditions or with a less seasoned pilot was caused by profit balancing. Besides the rarest emergency, I will never fly Spirit Airlines again if this is their protocol and attitude."
