I was forced into a middle seat and was uncomfortable and dehydrated the majority of the trip. Nice girl at baggage check said she'd ask a manager to move me, and to let them know at the gate, but the people at the gate said no. I felt discriminated against because I didn't book through them and/or I'm not Japanese. They historically love to put mushrooms in their food, like a fetish. This left me with one choice for the entree - some version of oyakodon - eggs and chicken. In my box there were two enormous chunks of fat/skin and another unidentifiable part of the chicken, and about the amount of edible chicken as 1 1/2 nuggets from Chick-Fil-A. There was more lotus root than chicken, so basically I had a box of rice and scrambled eggs with garnish. For the second meal, it was the Yoshinoya gyudon - a small serving of thinly sliced beef with rice. If I bought this fresh at a Yoshinoya restaurant, it would cost about $3. It's the rough equivalent of serving you a McDouble - cheap and filling and a coin toss if you get stomach pains. I lost that coin toss. Unless there is a big fare difference or I find out that their reserved seat policies are changed, I will choose ANA or another carrier. I used to enjoy JAL, but I cannot abide by idiotic decisions that seemed designed to punish people for using 3rd-party booking sites or who are not Japanese."

Cons: "They have to take the prize for having the absolute slowest customer service in the world. When I booked my tickets, I emailed customer service to make sure I didn’t get a center seat. It took them two months - TWO MONTHS - to email me back, to tell me there was nothing they could do. I also had to be reticketed on my flight from Tokyo to Hanoi. It took them 3 1/2 hours to do this. I had to sit in the airport for 3 1/2 hours to get my ticket changed. Unbelievable. They could’ve chiseled it in stone faster than they issued it."

Late take off. While usually not a big deal, this delay began a chain that led to (many people) having to wait in line (I stood for 6 1/2 hours to rebook a flight in Frankfurt Airport. Never made it to my original layover, in Paris… would have been a 23 1/2 layover. And I’d already made hotel reservations. Ce la Vie!
All of the flight attendants were so nice and helpful except for one lady flight attendant who was really mean and scary. They don't offer drinks enough - and they curtain off the flight attendant area instead of making it available for snacks and water like most airlines do for long flights. The entertainment is so old, screens barely worked.
The flight was half an hour late, as happens these days always in Europe. Otherwise, fine. Friendly crew.

If you have 2 beverages on your tray and your neighbor needs to get out, you need a third person to assist (impossible to get out of your seat with 2 beverages in your hands (we tried it!) - just too narrow (even for a European Teenager) 7. It was not clearly visible who boards where. An Economy couple standing patiently in line at the Wong boarding line was sent back to the end of the long economy line - although NOBODY was in the business line"

International gates are usually closer than that. On the flight: 1. The armrests pull up, which is great if you're traveling with family or a significant other. But, in my case, it was an overweight and obese lady, who didn't fit in her seat and just slipped into half of mine. I was stuck with half a seat with her arm bumping mine for a 12-hour flight. I landed with a bruised arm. It was a round trip flight. When I had submitted a complaint, Lufthansa refunded me a 100$, which is nice of them, but I think they should have upgraded me for my return flight instead to make up for the first flight being uncomfortable. 2. I paid for the internet service and was charged double for it. Again, had to submit a complaint and was refunded the money. Check-in: The online system wouldn't allow me to check in online because my passport wasn't biometric."

I suppose she should've pushed the attendant button but with English was her second language she must not have known this procedure? I asked for a soda and once he brought me the disgustingly warm soda with cup of ice I had to hold it on my lap the whole time because my tray table was broken. Def could tell that my once-favorite airline has switched ownership. I know changes have to be made in this day and age but it was really gone downhill. I gave you a 5-star Yelp and 5 Star Trip Advisor last year and have talked you up to so many people; sure wish I could do that again. :("

Cons: "1. was not aware that Sun Country flights are in Terminal 2 - MInneapolis airport is not well marked regarding which airlines are in which terminals when you drive in on the highway 2. THe monitor in terminal 2 said gate H4 and it was gate H2. 3. Took a long time to get from terminal 1-terminal 2 on public transit early on a sun morning 4. They were "training" new TSA people at the Terminal 2 builing early sun morning - also took extra time! 5. I almost missed the flight!!"
Pros: "Staff and flight crew were extremely helpful. I am disabled and they changed my seat to make it easier for me. They made sure I was comfortable and checked in with me several times during the flight. They also arranged wheelchair service before and after my flight."

The stewardeses were mean and unfriendly. They would argure between each other in front of us. Was asked if I wanting drink only once and never got any snacks. The temp on the plane was very warm and not comfortably. Worst expierence we ever had."

Cons: "Did not like that we couldn't print boarding passes from home. Had to check in at counter. On return trip, an overnight trip, we were told that there were no seats together so paid for exit row tickets. In flight there were plenty of seats empty. A passenger from somewhere else used ALL 3 of the exit rows seats in front of us to lay down and sleep. They did NOT pay for those seats. We did. No snacks offered. Calling Sun Country, the hold time was more than an hour."
Pros: "They acted like a normal professional airline, no clown routine or crazy charges. When buying snacks the flight attendants were generous in rounding down or adding a free beverage. Generous carry on bag policy; they allow normal sized carry on luggage, instead of having an undersized cage at the check in area to shame you and charge you extra (or make you buy a special sized bag). At the gate, they asked for volunteers to gate check carry on bags, rather than forcing it upon people."
Cons: "Website problem. Could not purchase bag in advance through website (option was grayed out), and was charged an extra $5 at the ticket window. May have been because it was international flight."

I am very hurt and disappointed with this airline and I don't expect to fly with them ever again. The exhibited zero customer care"
Cons: "Online check I was a waste of time- tried 10x and failed called the airline and "customer service' was clueless and contradicted herself. The flight itself was well into the 90 degree range. My family's shirts were soaked with sweat. Eggs were gross. And this was $500/tix for coach. I would rather fly Sprirt or a vlaue line than this."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled about 20 minutes after the departure time for an overnight flight. We spent 2 hours in line waiting to talk to an Aeromexico representative, by which time any chance of getting on another flight was gone because it was too late in the evening to get another flight. The BEST option they could get for us was for us to drive 3 hours to another airport at 1am to catch a 6am flight and 2 additional flights after that with another airline. We were told that when we arrived at the Austin airport, that a representative could refund us the money for the car rental before our flight. However, there was nobody at the Aeromexico counter at the airport. We called the "Customer Service" number and the lady could not help us at all in ANY way except for offering to sell us another ticket.... needless to say, worst customer service experience. When we arrived, our bags (which were carry-ons that were taken from us at the gate) didn't make it with us on the flight, so we had to wait another 2 hours at the airport for our bags. Needless to say, worst travel experience ever."

The situation was critical and out of my hands. It's unfortunate that I lost the flight and 3 Almost $300. It so sad that no one could help me with this unexpected situation."

Cons: "Connection time was simply not enough, my first flight was delayed and when i got off the plane I had to run throughout the airport to catch my next flight in the last minute to board. Also they charge extra for your bags but no where in the web page I was informed of such charge."

Cons: "Our flight from Dallas was delayed due to the crew being late to show up. This delay was so late that there was no way we would make the connecting flight in Mexico City. Staff in both airports knew this and made no attempts to remedy the problem. In Dallas the avoided answering questions or being helpful. When we got to Mexico City they kept us on the shuttle bus sitting outside the airport doors for an extended amount of time. They refused to let us out of the bus despite several requests. When we finally were allowed to leave the bus and enter airport we were handed new boarding tickets. We were not given any instruction on what to do or where to go or even told that we had missed our flight and it was no use anyway. I along with several other people wondered around the airport trying to find where to go for baggage claim, customs and the boarding gate. Airport staff did not try to help or answer questions. When I finally found my luggage, sent it on to the other flight, made it to the boarding gate, the staff there informed me that I had missed my flight and would not be flying out until 16 hours later. This was distressing enough, but when they laughed at me while they were telling me, it made the whole situation intolerable. At that point I went to try to find someone who would be helpful and not laugh at me. I found the check-in desk. The lady there did not laugh at me but gave me the run around about how weather had caused the delay and the airline could not help me with a better flight or even hotel accommodations. She informed me that my luggage was still in the airport and that I could retrieve it in baggage claim. Retrieving my luggage was another nightmare. None of the airport staff outside of the glass doors to baggage claim could understand that I needed to reclaim my luggage. I cannot imagine how seeing that 30 some other people had to have already returned to do the same thing just a few minutes earlier. I intend to never fly AeroMexico again. And I will be telling everyone I know not to fly them. This airline allowed us to miss our connecting flight because of crew incompetence. They made to attempts to remedy the problem or make up for it, instead the staff lied, was purposely unhelpful and at times rude and disrespectful."
