Half of the way we all went to a bathroom and I don't blame him but the bathroom must be to small to clean up himself for I have to sit with feces smell for the rest of the flight. Imagine that. This is my second leg of this long flight from BKK to NYC. The first leg to dubai is horrible enough but this one top that by far!!!!"

Food was cold and poor - did not have second bite on most food. Crew serving was as if they were in training (must be) Cramped seat, which did not recline much, which was unusual for Emirates. Glad to be out of that plane."
Pros: "Check in was smooth, flight was smooth and pleasant. Great food, great entertainment choices, great seat company. Best part was the hotel provided during my layover in the wee hours of the morning. I was able to sleep well and shower and was therefore more relaxed during the ensuing 14 hour flight."

Cons: "there were many who were selected for extra screening (code SSS) this process added a great amount of confusion (without any communication) we were screened and put in an isolation area where we were not allowed to leave or use a bathroom. We were there for over one hour. at one point, we were moving into a long tube like structure where we stayed for at least 30 minutes while others were boarding from an different ramp. the communication was non existent and we were made to feel like prisoners. actually, we were prisoners."

Cons: "I flew from Singapore to New York with a 1 hour 15 minute layover in Dubai. Passengers with layovers were instructed to be at the next gate 45 minutes in advance of boarding. This was seemingly impossible and cause myself and many other passengers severe anxiety running through the airport. The first flight landed 10 minutes late in Gate C, took another 10-15 minutes to off board, at which point we were held by a flight attendant who later guided us to get on a bus to take us between terminal A and C. The entire trip between gates was approximately 30 minutes and we inexplicably had to pass through security 3 times during the layover. It seemed poorly organized and myself and other passengers just made the second flight before the doors closed."
Pros: "I would like to say this is the most horrific experience I have ever had traveling and using Kayak. I was late by 10 mins getting to the ticket counter and Emirates gave my seat away. I then proceeded to attempt to rebook and the Emirates agent advised they are sold out for the next 3 days and have no flight alternatives to offer. I contact flight network and the person I spoke proceeds to tell me the same thing and there is nothing they can do for me. Basically that I would need to purchase a whole new ticket on another airline as Emirates doesn't have availability. Which I did. Now I'm looking online and Flight Network has my exact flight on Emirates available at same price I paid for my ticket. But now my new ticket purchased to get home is non-refundable. I'm out over 1000 dollars because of bad info. This has been a horrific experience and after being loyal to Kayak for years.... I will never use the site again."

Easy to use entertainment and movies. The temperature was moderate, which means very comfortable with the blankets that were provided."
Cons: "Ordered vegetarian meal, was served vegan meal with margarine. I specifically stated that dairy was ok, and the vegan meal was not good. Boarding was a bit of a disaster, unclear and hoards of people blocking aisles and visibility. We also got in late which is very problematic."

I don't understand why, after boarding the priority passengers, airline don't board the rest of us from the back of the plane to the front. Doing it the other way makes us stumble across the front seated passengers who are busy stowing their carry-ones. This causes a bottleneck in boarding. Also, there are too many checks on us, which also slows things down. Also, Emirates advertises: one carry-on item of less than 15 pounds. On this flight I would say that at least 75% of the passengers violated this with large and multiple carry-ons. This is unfair to those of us who try to go by the rules."

Pros: "The plane was comfortable. The headrest was great and the seat pitch and recline were decent. I was able to sleep better with Swiss than with other airlines like Lufthansa or Delta. They are much better overall for sure. The food and staff were excellent! The food quality is very good compared to the other airlines. The cabin crew are always passing around water and chocolates throughout the flight. They were friendly and helpful as well. The pilots were also very good. We had no rough turbulence and their landing skills were amazing."

The boarding process was chaotic at the gate - customs were there to check in but quite a few people were unaware (not many announcements). Also, the Economy boarding process wasn't clear and chaotic (i.e., not by row and you also didn't know when you could board. Also, the person in front of me kept reclining her seat and it went back too far. I didn't want to do the same to the person behind me so it was quite uncomfortable."

Cons: "For a 5' 4" person like myself, arm and leg room were barely minimal, Economy seats were crammed together and were not ergonomically designed for comfort or support. I was fortunate to be able to move from my center seat to an aisle seat once the flight was in progress. As soon as I did, the air around me was cooler and made for more comfortable breathing. In the center seat, the air was still and close—very uncomfortable. Poor communication regarding passport control protocol at the departure gate: A temporary station was set up, labeled Passport Control, but no SWISS agent announced what was happening. I had just gone through a passport control line on a lower level so I didn't think I had to go through a similar process at the gate. Most people around me also didn't know whether they had to go through the process at the gate. Once agents had been questioned on the subject several times, they should have made a general announcement to inform everyone at the gate. They did not. The food on the plane was the usual poor quality fare for economy class—either highly processed or overcooked and much too salty. Ugh."

Cons: "There was no climate control. Our rows were freezing cold. People were wearing coats and blankets. Four or five rows up it was warm. My husband asked for more heat and the stewardess said she would turn it up, but nothing happened. Cold air blew out of the ceiling vents for the entire flight. When we reached our gate, we then waited in a long line to have our passports and boarding passes checked again. There were several Swissair crew members, but only one person to check all of the paperwork for economy. Then another long line to show our boarding passes again, while the business class entrance remained unused. Swissair needs someone to manage this better."

When i got through they then said something was wrong with my ticket in which they took it and I was pulled out of the line. they should try to the ticket check and the boarding line at the same time"

Idea was she would place the dog on the table space next to her seat. It would be exactly the same for both seats. Do not know what they were thinking. There were other business class seats on the other side that had the table space ext to the window away from the aisle. That would make sense for the lady with dog. Business class was full and I was the last to get on, 45 minute connection in Zurich from terminal A to E, my seat was given. But as I objected, they moved the dog lady and gave me back my seat. But they never asked a person in the seat that would have made sense to give her to trade seats."

Because of this delay I missed my connection and instead of arriving in San Fran at 10am, I arrived at 6pm and missed the whole first day of my trip and was exhausted cause I got up at 3am to get to the airport to a frozen plane that was not ready to fly for a few hours during which I could’ve stayed in bed."

I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

We had to ask for a wet tissue and clean it up. That was of no use too as it wouldn't scrub off. My wife was feeling under the weather and so we asked for a blanket. The blanket was hardly a blanket and more like a towel. We then luckily could switch seats as there were 2 vacant. But, the air conditioner was leaking water in the seat to our left. The crew was callous and just stuck the passenger with some napkins saying it does that. I don't fly Delta a lot and my experience in this trip isn't inspiring much confidence."

Pros: "When you travel with an infant it's already a difficult trip but it's really fraustrating when you find out that they didn't assign you to the seats with the baby bassanet, and when I went to the counter to fix the problem instead they change our window seats to an isle seats without even asking or notifying us with the changes, and they when I asked how come you don't automatically assign infant reservations to infant seats their excuse was what if there were more infants than available infant seats and they already gave out those seats with extended leg space to others who already had paid for it, and surprisingly there were multiple of infants on board none of them in those seats but rather the other passengers who paid for it, so basically they got paid extra and you will only suffer for almost 10 hrs so they can make extra profit. NEVER AGAIN AUSTRIAN AIRLINES!!!"

Cons: "Austrian Air has really slipped in its food-product.. Lufthansa put out snacks (cookies etc; even small sandwiches to 'help yourself from' going from Atlanta to Frankfort which was nice). But not the case with Austrian The serving of it was fine. Restroom options are less than adequate too."

Flight itself fine, big problem with KAYAK. Revised e-ticket sent in July stated departure LHR 10:55, arrival SFO 13:45. (a believable local arrival time given flight length and time difference). When we got to LHR there was no 10:55 flight to SFO and were advised that in fact flight LH2473 was arriving in MUNICH at 13:45pm, and that we would need to get a connecting flight arriving in SFO at 18:55 local time - over 5 hours later than expected. 1) you the booking agent made an error on the revised e-ticket you sent, omitting the Munich stopover and incorrect SFO arrival time. 2) I booked a DIRECT flight and 3) we had to cancel plans this end as a result, even though the team at LHR did a great job moving us to a later direct flight getting us in 2 hours earlier than the flight from munich would have.

I have to travel from Milan to San Francisco and I missed flight of my one leg ( milan to frankfurt) of journeyand I went for help and non of the Lufthansa staff at Milan airport helped me. Although my connecting flight was after 12hr they just gave me some random number which to call. I have never experience this in my 8yr of international travel."

Crowd of people, huge lines, all disorganized. The control for EU passengers was not so crowded but you couldn't see it at the end of the line, so even people who didn't have to were all crowding in the same cue. Horrible experience and I almost missed my flight because of this mess."

The only complaint is that there's not much space between seats, so that when the person in front of you leans back, things can get tight. On the plus side, the bathrooms are downstairs (down a short staircase) and there's plenty of waiting room, so you don't get the usual congestion. Overall, a wonderful experience for an intercontinental flight."

They brought us an "unclaimed" vegetarian meal, but it wasn't, it was Asian halal meal with lamb! After I let crew member know wmy husband was served meat instead, she denied it and said "its not possible" as the wrapper says "vegetarian". I informed her it actually said "Asian halal", she the proceeded to say, well, "i am sorry if it's wrong, but I gave you vegetarian". That said crew member collected my husband's plates while I was in the bathroom and came back later with a "vegan" plate that they now have available."

Cons: "Despite calling 2 weeks ahead of the flight, I did not have a vegetarian meal for this flight or the leg from SFO to Frankfurt. The other flights had the correct meal selection. The plane did not have private screens, only access to personal devices, but it was difficult to keep my device charged to watch a full movie. With an 11 hour flight, that was definitely disappointing."

Cons: "But then they deboarded the plane and everything went south fast. They didn't tell us what was happening or where to go or what to do. Instead we were directed to different service centers. We were told conflicting things. Sometimes they told us to exit the airport through passport control, but without any information on what to do next. They reopened the terminal but then redirected us to a service center. That center was overloaded and we ended up waiting in line for service/information for the entire day. Once I was near the service center they dissipated the line. They told us there was another service center in a different part of the airport and that this one we have waited for was closing. We went there and it was also closed instead they had beds without blankets or pillows limit the halls. Alia we were in line for hours before they offered any water or food. Food was really late. Information was the problem here. We were not told what we should do except to check with the service center. Eventually a few of us tried to get through passport control and check the service center out front. This worked much better. I was able to get a hotel and a standby ticket. That flight went much better but getting that far was a mess."

Pros: "I used to fly lufthansa for my europe travel for work about 15 years ago a lot and thought in recent years it may not have been as good but these flights made me appreciate Lufthansa anew. Crew extremely helpful and polite, always followed up to any requests. Instead of barking at us like United or American crew, they went out of their way to help my daughter get a makeshift icepack for some very painful bumps she got during our vacation. Crew also kept the bathrooms clean from time to time, which was a welcome relief for such a long flight. Desk staff/service desk also was helpful in directing us during the 5 hr layover to things at the airport itself that we could do. They also helped reprint the boarding pass and write down the baggage tags when security made me lose those by separating my wallet and boarding passes into mutliple bins."
Cons: "Phone service. When I tried to book my seats and meals, the lady kept getting things wrong, and ended up not getting me the seats I had specifically ended up asking for. So, when I arrived at the airport and printed my boarding cards, those were seats I did NOT want and all the service desks insisted that's what I asked for. No low carb meal option was surprising. Meal service sometimes felt like too close to each other else too far apart from snacks - didn't feel like we had enough time to digest and get some sleep, while at other times we were seeking out snacks.Overall good quality of food however."

Pros: "A delay on our first leg (from Marseille to Munich) meant we missed our flight connection to SFO. Ok, these things happen. Lufthansa customer service in Munich was excellent--courteous and informative. We did not have to negotiate for lodging and other amenities while we waited for the next day's flight. Lufthansa provided for us with grace, including hotel, dinner, breakfast and the shuttle to and from the airport. The accommodations were excellent and we adjusted to our new departure time in comfort."
