The food was good. I almost didn't get a seat on the flight unless I agreed to sit in emergency exit.

we had flown from Okinawa and had breakfast in Okinawa. There were issues with the plane so service was postponed. I asked a crew member if we could get something to eat as I was very hungry. Shevwas so nice that shev brought nuts for all of us. The sad part is that thevnuts were stale but I was hungry so I ate them. My side of the rew was really very nice. Both my wife and I travel quite a bit even though we cannot lift our bags as we get help. My wife asked her dso=ide crew if she could help put up the computer bag. She told he that its not her job. Oh well

Very efficient boarding and quick flight. Attendants don’t come by often so would often have a lot of trash at seat.

Flight was on time. Cabin attendants made no recognition of my name or being an Advantage Executive Platinum member.

Very poor food. Took more than 90 minutes for baggage to arrive at DFW

Movie selections were very limited. Meals were not f So good.

AA is flying sub par aging 787's to Tokyo. I fly other 787's long haul and these are at the bottom. Seats don't work well, tray tables don't work well and were dirty. The flight was great, the plane was not.

The comfort of Business Class made this trip far more comfortable. I was indeed surprised when I asked one of the flight attendant to help me set up my "bed", she responded that "We don't make beds in Business Class any longer...only First Class" I believe her name was Giselle, but I'm not certain. She did instruct me how to adjust the seat, place the hooded cover and I clearly understood how to place the blanket and the cover. Additionally, the meal I was served (a beef dish) was almost inedible. The beef was tough and odd tasting. I didn't mention it as I was hoping to quickly settle down and try to get some sleep.

Overall, an average flight; food options were not the best, and there were bugs on the plane.

American Airlines is a mediocre airlines: they do not maintain the highest standard of cleanliness in the cabins, and the food is not well thought out. Service is not at top of mind compared to other international airlines such as Singapore Airlines, JAL or others.
