I'll grant you I am a big girl at 6' 250 however the first leg of my flight from FLL to ATL which WAS on a Delta plane, was fine. I did not feel smashed into the seat. For the money, I feel like I am due more than being locked into the seat unable to move more than 1/2 inch for an entire flight. Thankfully the flight was under 2 hours."

Cons: "After having my flight delayed 4 hours causing me to miss my connection, I was placed stand by on a different flight through another city so I could try and make it home on time. I was the first person in line for stand by, but the flight was full so I knew it was a long shot. Waiting at the gate, I was excited because one person didn't show and they were giving him a two minute wait time before I could board. During this wait time a woman passenger came over and said she had just been given a ticket change at the gate counter. The agent at the gate was furious because the flight was sold out and said the woman should not have received a ticket, but should have been placed on stand by. She went over and scolded the other agent for this mistake. Okay, so she should've been placed on STAND BY behind me in line. After the unprofessional arguing between the two agents, they both admitted it was a mistake and she should be second in line for stand by, BUT they did not honor this and placed her on the plane bumping me. Needless to say, I missed my connecting flight because of this and extremely inconvenienced my family and in addition had to pay an extra 75 dollars out of my pocket to keep my dogs at their kennel an extra night because I arrived home 5 hours after expected. I understand that flights end up getting delayed and the agents are doing the best they can to accommodate travelers, but admitting a mistake and not fixing it to make it right is unacceptable. I notified American Airlines of my situation and only received a form letter with enough miles to get me 1/8 of a flight. I don't even care about the miles because I don't plan to ever fly with them again, I want the money for the dog kennel I had to pay extra. I was visiting my husband who serves in the US Army causing separation from our family for long periods of time and this extra headache and expense due to the mistake of American Airlines was disheartening."

Cons: "Our flight arrived at LAX 20 minutes early so expected to get my connecting flight on time. Boy was I wrong, we sat inside the plane on the runway for over an hour. It was getting hot inside and people were getting upset about missing their connecting flights. We went around in circles on the runway, about 3 times. As people were getting agitated, so was the stewardess. Also people had to use the restroom, and the stewardess kept asking people to stay in there seats and she begin to lose her cool. What do you expect when your on the runway for over an hour. When people got to go, they got to go. So after finally arriving at the gate, "late" United did get me on another flight thru Alaska which was great. Will I fly United again, hmm I'm sure I will, One bad experience won't scratch them off my list, but I will choose other airlines first and United will be my last resort."

Cons: "Flight was overbooked, and my seat was one that was oversold. I still don't know how this happens, but it's fine. When I do get on, I'm literally wedged between a rather large man and the window. No ones fault, but comfort was horrible. Crew was nice enough, but I was uneasy when we were about to land, flight attendant reminded us to not take belongings in the event of an emergency evacuation. I'm all for being prepared, but please don't make me feel like we're about to crash."

Cons: "Our seats were Infront of the emergency exit, couldn't relax. I'm 6'6" , so the incline if the back isn't comfortable and we couldn't recline. We had asked switching seats on our flight to Spokane because we were given the same seats. The airline told us seats were chosen at random and they couldn't control them so we had 4 legs of our two flights stuck in no reveling seats. I was very disappointed."

I when I checked my luggage, the attendant charged me more ($50) than the self check-in luggage price listed ($45). They moved the gate (from 15 to 14), put us in a different plane with plenty of extra seats and area for baggage (and many people stowed their carry-on for free!) The plane was late leaving because ‘paper work hadn’t been filed’- and the plane was late coming back because there was something wrong with opening the gate. Also the flight attendents share tips?!?! What racket are you putting these poor woman up to?"
Cons: "Flight was more than 1 1/2 hours late taking off after we had already boarded with only one update from captain explaining that there was a computer problem and he had no idea when it would be fixed but that they were working on it. When we finally did take off, we waited for an additional 30 minutes in Salt Lake while we waited for a gate and another 30 minutes to be allowed off after reaching the gate. Given the amount of time for security and early check-in protocol, I could have rented a car and only arrived an hour later to my destination without having to endure this flight."

Pros: "FRUSTRATED AT INABILITY TO GET BOARDING PASS PRIOR HUNG ONTO PHONE 24 MIN 22SECONDS BEFORE HANONG UP. ANOTHER PASSENGER SAID IT TOOK HER 40 MIN ON YHE PHONE. THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE!"

The seat bottom has been reduced in size by half - the edge hits mid-thigh - and all cushioning has been removed - like sitting on a folding chair, but less comfortable! And the pricing: I paid as much to bring my luggage with me as I did for my "seat". And to top it off, it was a red-eye flight and the crew were yacking the whole time. I will NEVER fly frontier again."

Cons: "When I went to sit down in my middle seat there was two larger women on either side of me. If I was any bigger, I am a 5' 4" 110 lb woman mind you, I would not have fit in between these women. If you keep shrinking your seats, no one will fly with you. In the future, I will be booking my flights further in advance with an airline that has seats to accommodate someone who is the size of a full sized man or woman."

Cons: "After I made the reservation, I learned that I had to pay to select a seat ($35), pay to take a carry-on bag ($30; $60 if I paid at the gate), and pay for a cup of coffee ($3.00.) That last one did it for me. So Frontier is losing me as a customer because they are too cheap to give out coffee that costs them about ten cents. I'm not sure who gave them THAT advice, but s/he should be fired. I will NEVER willingly fly on Frontier again. Also, crew making announcements was trying to be funny, but he was just weird. Someone should let him know."

This took about 2 hours to fix before we were allowed back on. Most restaurants had closed by that time, and we received nothing on the plane or anything to make up for it. This was my worst flight experience of all time."

But it was the lack of organization in the face of adversity that aggravated all the customers most. I would think a prestigious company like Frontier would have a better Plan B, than to unload us all in DIA, not allow us to retrieve our bags and find a faster way home, wait for a new flight crew, wait longer for a new plane, and once re-boarding to wait even longer because bags had never been loaded onto the new plane and there was no ramp crew. A shuttle to Colorado Springs would have been three hours faster. Think outside the box. Our patience was indeed tested."

Cons: "Arrival at airport we had a long wait as another plane was parked at the terminal and the plane was quite hot at this time but my main issue came when we then had to wait a further 60 mins at the baggage collection waiting for luggage to be taken off the plane. There was no explanation given for at least 40 minutes and then when the baggage finally arrived my suitcase had be handled in such a way that it arrived on the belt split open with half of my luggage going around the belt which I had to ask other passengers to help me gather my belongings. Everyone around was shocked an surprised and didn't understand how my suitcase could have been damaged so badly and how it was allowed to come up the belt in that state I don't understand."

There didn't seem to be any rush to get us out on time and no apologies, also no discussion add to when we would now land so we could not tell those waiting for us when to pick us up. At one point I asked a flight attendant for some water and she got up in a huff, got it for me, but was very annoyed I asked."

Cons: "We flew from Philly to San Francisco, stopping at Denver and Las Vegas. When we arrived at Las Vegas, we were told that we could stay on the plane or get off the plane and re-border later. We chose to get off the plane. We expected to board first at the boarding time (at least before zone 1 was called), but we were asked to wait until our zone (zone 3) was called. To me, passengers from Denver to San Francisco who get off the plane at Las Vegas should be allowed to board first."

I can totally understand a charge for alcoholic beverages and snacks, but c'mon... Additionally, the boarding process for my return flight was a bit disorganized. Instead of asking for one Zone at a time, like they did the first time I flew, they asked for Zone 1... then said, "Zone 1, 2, and 3." This made everyone rush up and clutter the area around the gate. That was silly of them to call all the Zones at the same time."
