He told us that our flight had already left but he would get us on the next one. We ended up getting seats on the next flight but then were also given the option to get a temporary visa and explore Doha for the night. We opted for the comped night which included a very nice hotel and $100 in meal vouchers. We absolutely LOVED Doha and the hotel and food was fantastic! I don't think I have ever received better service from an airline or a hotel. We ended up walking around Souq Waquif and the downtown until 1am (we are two young females!) with no issue and just used Uber to get to and from the hotel. Everything was so well laid out for us! No complaints whatsoever!"

I paid nearly $4,500 for an economy ticket from New York to New Delhi. The first leg of the flight, from New York to Zurich was delayed long enough that I made my connecting flight to Delhi within seconds of them closing the gate and as a result my baggage was lost. Once I got to Delhi I had to take a connecting flight to Goa and then drive an hour to my destination, where I was attending a good friend's wedding. All of my baggage was lost during transit by the airline, and unfortunately they never delivered by baggage to my hotel...so I was without formal clothes and normal clothes for the wedding for 4 days. The customer service line was no help, and the airline refused to deliver the baggage to me...the closest they would bring it was the Goa airport which was an hour and a half away."

I was telling a friend today, Swiss Air started with drinks, gave us a Parisian baguette sandwich, gave us a healthy breakfast of yoghurt warm croissant butter jam orange juice, drinks again, and several passengers surrounding me got special attention, one woman with a baby, a disabled person, and a teenager that was 6'5" was relaocated by the flight attendant without him even asking to a bulkhead seat for more comfort. You don't see this kind a attention to detail on any US flights or US airlines, so I noticed it. It was as if I was traveling back in the 70's or 80's when Airlines would compete for our dollars with their service. I mentioned to my friend that if I had a choice and Swiss Air was one of the choices, I'd choose Swiss Air over any other airline."

The seats are tight but I was in the economy plus section so I thought she should have let me recline instead of physically moving my seat upright. And for someone who cared so much about the seat at dinner no one cared about me the rest of the flight. I slept through breakfast and no one left me a tray even. Plus, I had my seat back the rest of the flight including landing which I didn't realize. Isn't it their job to ensure our seats are in upright positions in case we forget or don't realize? Just a very blasé crew."

They gave away whay ever they wish. To ask for water we had to request 4-5 times. The air hostess Iliana was bumping constanly into us, and does not even have courtesy of apologising. Because of her I could not even sleep for a second in the plane. Iliana is very racist. When multi cultural people are around, it a common sense that we have to talk in a language which is understandable by every one. She was speaking in the local language, and messing around with the fellow passengers for a small issue. She is definitely not fit as an air hostess, if she is there as a racist. there was another air hostess who as shouting at us to book business class if we need to order individually. A kid beside me was asking for an ice cream if we had a chance of purchasing it, like we do in domestic airlines. When I was requesting for the ice cream, she mentioned it thrice to book a ticket in business class. Rude absolutely very very rudeeeee. Untolerable service.....worst really worst service. There was no blanket and ear plugs kept on my seat, I request iliana thrice for blanket and ear plugs, she was like i will give you after I serve everyone, but I never had one through out my journey. This is how Eithad has trained their air hostess to handle passengers. seriously I will never ever choose eithad."

Once everyone had bought new bags ($100 minimum) and ditched their old bags (created a huge pile in the corner of the boarding area), they didn't bother to check the new bags to see if they were now compliant... After finishing my meal, I pushed the call button 5x and no one came to collect the tray. I waved at an attendant 2x and she replied, "I'll pick it up on my way back" but she never came back. 3 HOURS LATER!!! My food tray full of waste was still sitting in front of me. At that point, the gentleman sitting in the aisle seat woke up, saw the tray still in front and he got very upset. He stopped a random attendant walking down the aisle and requested tray must picked right now! The attendant then apologize and was shocked herself that the tray sat on my table for 3 HOURS! In addition to this, the seats in the economy class were so tightly compacted and uncomfortable for a 13 hours flight. One could barely move."

Instead of suggesting me the best option she directly informed me about the payment of $125 for the overweight charges of the baggage.one of your hostess drop my laptop from the luggage box inside the flight me and other three guest have seen that literally by our eyes and when I asked her that did something wrong with my laptop why you dropped it down but she rudely reply that I just placed it down it has not dropped from their. I asked for water three times and got a glass water once only. While taking the trolley from hallway she never used soft skills like excuse me, sorry...thank you. Seats were like too congested and un comfortable. Try to improve this otherwise people have other options. In flight of Abudhabi to Delhi we got the meal after a 15 minutes of discussion on regular available meal on flight."

Cons: "9/27/2015 flight from BLR to AUS - entertainment system did not work even after the crew reset the system. Nothing was done after that. Same flight departure was delayed and so I missed the connecting flight in Abu Dhabi to Chicago. I am a US citizen. The staff there just took my existing boarding pass inside a room and came back with new passes rerouting me via JFK. No options were given or further delays/wait times considered. This meant an extra 9 hours of wait time and final arrival time past midnight inconveniencing pick up at destination airport. A pathetic meal ticket was given for use at Abu Dhabi airport and I was told it was valid anywhere for any food. once you go to the food court, you are told you can only avail at certain places and only for a basic food item. Not much food choice was available at 3am at an international airport. The staff would not accomodate a request to provide access to the Premium lounge as compensation for all of the issues."
