Pros: the seat are comfortable. Flight stewards are responding to anything I need but on the downside, lavatories are clogged most of the time ( maybe because too many are using it.) Another issue is the travelers card, the letters are printed too small that seniors like me can't read it inspite of the fact that I'm wearing my eyeglasses.Read more about Philippine Airlines

Cons: The websites should be improved that allow users to login.
Pros: Crew was very good. The food was better than most.
Cons: The toilets should be checked for cleanliness more often, and supplies replenished.
Pros: no flight yet
Cons: of course
Pros: Nice crew, direct flight to LAX.
Cons: Philippines Airlines has two things it could improve on: one is the food, which is probably the worst of any airline I’ve flown on in recent years. But the thing that is most problematic is that it is not a member of any alliance. I live in Manila, but only for a year or two, so would be nice for those miles to be transferable. If PAL didn’t have the only direct flight from Manila to LAX, I would avoid the airline altogether for long international flights.
Cons: Baggage delayed for days
Pros: On time
Cons: The ride...
Cons: Didn’t like the portion in Manila airport where they take away your passport! I understand you don’t have a say in that but maybe giving customers clear instructions or expectations would help
Cons: Clean the rest room and fix the lavatory
Cons: Got food poisoning from the potato salad, as did other Americans who were on our same flight
Cons: I have wheel chair and the crew of PAL is ignore it they dont like the same with Asiana and Korean Air they approuching us...
Pros: The crew was helpful and patient. Toilets were always clean.
Cons: Beer was not available. Sometimes the type of food was not available in the coach class.
Pros: None!!!!!!! Because i pay for my seat assignment and they give me the wrong seat and they say no refunds because they cannot allocate the seat assignment that i bought.
Cons: They have should have a refund policy and they should have hire more profesional when in comes to customer service.
Pros: not any games to play on the behind seat screen, it helps to pass the time...
Cons: The food was just ok,,,,could have been better..
Pros: Crew was nice and helpful. Seats were decent for economy.
Cons: Charging outlets for non phone devices.
Pros: Service food comfort..
Cons: Beyond our control it was a bit torbulent over Jap an for almost 2 hours but asido from that my trip was perfect!
Pros: The food was great and so was the entertainment.
Cons: The service was overall very good, but the attendants would come drop off the food and then not come back to pick up the trash for an hour or so at times. Other than this, I would recommend
Cons: The amount of time waiting for our luggage to come out. There was a good 15 mins of nothing
Pros: Food is better than most economy boarding and friendly cabin crew service.
Cons: The tv screens and navigation feels dated, and earphones are a bit combersome. Probably got an older plane though.
Pros: The crew
Cons: Stop trying to be cute with boarding procedures. It adds more frustration as it is.
Cons: The gate was too far
Pros: I observed that the crew were doing there very best to help with the passengers and their concerns. I also saw that they were on top with regards to cleanliness especially the lavatories. I also like how they treat each and everyone with respect especially the older people that we are with.
Cons: PAL - Plane Always Late! it seems that this meaning to the acronym sticks really good with our flag carrier. I was observing and trying to get some information on what is happening or reason for our delayed flight but to no avail. The captain's explanation makes no sense. With a 3 hour delay, I knew and felt that It would not be a great ride because right from the very start it already started wrong. I was already stressed out from the very beginning even though i saw in the cabin crew's effort and super great service towards especially to our older passengers their dedication and passion to serve. I was really looking forward to this flight but I guess this was one of those days that all you could do is close your eyes and stretch your patience. One other bad experience was getting on Terminal 1. Great improvement but it could be still better. Can't connect to Wifi (its asking me my number on the US when I did not sign up for roaming and for sure will not be able to get the code that they will send on my number) Last year was better, just log on and boom! Impressively lightning wifi speed connection. No questions or log ins and you can safely assure and text your relatives waiting patiently outside that you are there waiting. I just wished we went to Terminal 2 instead. But I guessed it will also be the same because everything started on a bad start with that 3hour delay. They were lucky most of the passengers were excited to be home and sleeping!
Pros: Crew was very professional and was quick to address any needs of the customers
Cons: Better choice of foods
Pros: The treatment by the crew makes you feel like you’re home. Attendants were nice and helpful. Responsive.
Cons: Boarding was delayed due to Korean air that was scheduled at 11:30, but our boarding was at 11:20. Then the bags took so long to get to the carousel. Other flights like the Qatar Air has bags waiting for the passengers. The SFO flight’s bags also were serviced better.
Pros: Little less food.
Pros: Smooth flight
Cons: Boarding was disorganized. No priority boarding for business class passengers. Same thing happened on disembarkation in Manila. Crew didnt control the traffic flow going out from a single exit door.
Pros: Landing was perfect
Pros: Lots of delayed flight
Pros: I liked that the lady at the front desk turned us away and we weren’t able to board our flight due to not having a passport that extended out six months to expiration.
Cons: I did not like the fact that I booked my flights months in advance and would have done this adjustment with Our ample time and not one person informed us about our passports from kayak or Philippine Airlines. It was disgusting that I had to lose my flight and not even receive any kind of courtesy from them or you as far as even a partial refund or any kind of acknowledgement. We just booked other flights without your product. Terrible experience. i am just appalled at the kind of service kayak offers.
Pros: Flight was on time.
Cons: No entertainment at all. This particular Philippine Airlines flight (PR113) from Los Angeles to Manila of July 7, 2018 did not have TV monitors, not even a USB port. Yes, they were iPads to hand around but it was not enough for everybody. Yes, we have cellphones but without a USB port, how do we recharge our phones? Sure we have power banks -- but why would we use it up on entertainment when we will definitely need it to communicate once we get to Manila? For a short flight, fine. However, for a long haul flight of 13 hours or so? Have mercy!!!!!
Pros: We were led to board the aircraft early but ended up sitting inside the plane for half an hour past our scheduled departure time to await boarding of other passengers connecting from other flights.
Cons: Long wait time inside the aircraft past the scheduled departure time to await other passengers connecting from other flights.
Pros: Comfort and entertainment system
Cons: To late to board passengers,
Cons: Traveling with kids we paid the higher price for a supposely non-stop flight (other better airlines were cheaper with 1 stop). In reality, it made a refueling stop in Guam. This was not disclosed when we bought the tickets. We got an email the morning of the flight telling us the arrival was delayed by one hour still nothing about a stop. We found out when we were checking in at the airport. Then, while stop on Guam, we got email saying the flight is 2 hours late! WTF
Cons: The crew ran out of meal choices for those in the back rows. Then there were no hot towels again for everyone in the back rows. There were no apologies for running out of hot towels even when it was asked about.
Pros: Entertainment and the crew was really good
Cons: Boarding was terrible. Took over an hour and a half to just board the plane. Could have been done better. Left almost 50 minutes late because of boarding
Pros: 3 meals. Super kind beautiful attendedTs
Cons: Nailed in the els How by serving cart while dead asleep!
Pros: The only thing I like is the straight flight of otherwise food was ok
Pros: Other than a crew member that was quite rude all else was ok
Cons: Flight attendant was quite rude and snippy... all other crew members were just fine
Pros: Crews with good service but just notice they treat us different by giving drinks etc my seat mates she gave a full can of drinks and yet mine was like a sample cup. Comfort is not good really especially for long hrs of flight. But it’s expected for economy class. Also my baggage took so long. I would still fly with PAL it’s non stop and the feel of Filipinos are nice to experience
Cons: The food it’s was terrible sorry. I was expecting a good food from our Homeland and yet they were serving some foreign menu I flew with PAL because I was expecting to have a good meal for a long trip and the crew was giving me a small amount of drinks while my seat mates was having a full can I knownits a small thing I just need to understand why?
Cons: Food was just okay. Nothing to rave about. Could be improved.
Cons: Terrible customer service, took weeks to issue a refund after cancelling a flight completely without being able to present a reasonable solution or new flight. Had to rebook with another company and pay another $300 to do so. Philippines Air was unwilling to work with us or help us.
Pros: Flight from SFO to Manila was fine. On time without delay. Once we landed in Manila, our connecting flight was delayed. We were stuck at Manila international airport and not allowed to leave after coming through immigration! 8 hours in a terrible airport with no proper restaurant or bar! Only snack and coffee shops. Would have been nice to know ahead of time so that we could have at least gone into town.
Cons: 8 hour delay Being stuck at airport unable to leave Lack of a sit down restaurant or bar
Pros: We arrived on time
Cons: Delayed flight
Pros: I've always enjoyed the service I receive on Asian carriers. Last night was the first time I have experienced PAL. I had read some not so good reviews so I was skeptical and canceled my first booking. After looking at other options, I discovered PAL's direct flight from Los Angeles to Manila was the best option so I took a chance. From the moment I check in at the ticket counter in Los Angeles until we landed in Manila, I received exceptional service, tasty food and a clean environment. I have flown several Asian air carriers and have had great experiences on them all. PAL delivered the same experience I have come to love when traveling to Asia. I will definitely fly them again.
Cons: The only thing I didn't like was not having discovered PAL before
Cons: My son didn't receive any goodies at all on our way to Cebu but coming back to LA, he received Madagascar coloring book with crayons, headset, and a stuff toy. Over all it was excellent.
Pros: Food and crew
Cons: There was only entertainment on your phone or iPad
Cons: Kayak sent me an email with wrong Terminal. It said in Terminal B. But there's no Terminal B. They are Terminal 1, 2, 3. So my pick up by my relatives was delayed by 1.5 hours looking for the terminal in the email. I had a headache due to hunger and stress .
Pros: Very good cobfort and assistance
Cons: Entertainement system was bad, few options, no wifi as indicated before
Cons: Departure was delayed by more than 1 hour
Pros: Earlier arrival in MNL on the return flight than expected. Everything went smoothly.
Cons: Delay in flight from MNL to LAX but not really that much of an issue considering traffic in LAX on a Friday night. Online check-in was not working for the return flight to MNL on Dec 30. Was a little too strict on the check-in luggage. Should consider total weight rather than per luggage piece.
