Cons: "The ceiling next to the spot lights or calling for help was dirty. I was expecting everything to be wiped. I turned my air fan on, and my there were some brown spots on my hands. And I looked up, it was dirty up there."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled and I had anxiety about being at my destinations on time because I had to travel another hour away without knowing if my ride would be able to wait for me. However, I was booked on another plane that wasn't damaged which got me there on time,but once I arrived my luggage was no where to be found. I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."

Pros: "The one good thing about this unexplained ordeal (the flight was delayed for 5 hours, causing me to miss my connection) was that, after a few hours of hearing nothing (no emails or texts from Delta), I finally saw some options for different flights pop up, so I was able to book a new flight without calling India. Also, I got an exit row seat on my new flight to MSP."

The only reason I knew about the delay and gate changes was because of Kayak! I know I am signed up to receive texts and emails from them, but I guess they forgot to notify me."

We were very delayed, and would be getting alerts on our phones before anyone told us what was going on. The forced us to change planes and didn't explain what the plan was or how we why we were transitioning. A lot of passengers had to ask each other what was going on, due to this lack of direction."

Cons: "The poorly staffed bag check at BTV was maddening. We waited in line for what felt like 15 or more minutes. Boarding was also badly managed and took 20 minutes or so. There was no jetway so passengers had to walk a distance to the plane. The attendants all seemed to be having a bad morning. Not terribly friendly."

Pros: "GRU to ATL to LEX - all was fine. The plane from GRU to ATL was one of the nicer jets I have ridden in. The ratings above reflect my overall trip of going to Sao Paulo and returning to Lexington, even though the first part had to be re-booked on United."
Cons: "LEX to ATL to GRU did NOT happen because the LEX flights were delayed to the point of missing the ATL connection. While Delta re-booked me on United, my flight arrived 3 hours later than scheduled (so transportation plans had to change), my bag did not successfully move from the Delta flight to the United flight (and was thus delayed in getting to GRU) AND once the bag was received, 4 shirts had been stolen. While a delay/theft claim has been filed with United, this could all have been avoided if the Delta flights had been on time."

Cons: "Multiple delays, from 8:15 to 8:49 to 9:05 to 9:39 to 10:12 to 10:19 to 10:25. I am not joking. Honestly, if the delay is due to 'maintenance' for an incoming plane that has not left its originating destination, why quote any time at all? The check in rep did provide an announcement at 8:15 that although the time of departure had moved to 9:05 , he did not see how that was possible since our plane was on the ground in Richmond undergoing maintenance. I was in LGA. When I heard that, I changed to another flight, so the outcome was not as bad as it could have been. I am aware of these other times since my email is packed with Delta's notifications, which I welcome usually."

Pros: "It's hard for me to write this review as the first 4.5 hour leg was incredible. Staff was very friendly and did a great job. Otherwise, the equipment was old and dated. Good thing it's only an hour-ish flight."

They were not terribly busy at the time and I politely asked as I was unsure which line to be in. The flight attendants (only from ORF to Detroit) also were unfriendly with an attitude. Just simple stuff. I asked for extra ice, she thought I said no ice. Simple mistake, no big deal but when I explained that I actually wanted extra ice she was perturbed!"

Cons: "Have to request wheelchair service twice as the receiving staff handing the wheelchair to another company for departure staff. Only one counter handles wheelchair request at each leg. They are so strict with liquids that all baby foods had to put in a separate bin and we had to go to another security point for clearance. It took 2.5 hours to go through all that, that is with wheelchair priority! Boarding was horrible at the gate."

Pros: "I was traveling with my mother who is handicap. The staff did so much to really help her. Although, the staff did everything and I mean everything to help us. TSA was an issue. Plus there was an language barrier."

Instead of explaining to her what was going on she just took her shoes, which made my mother upset mad."

Cons: "This flight was delayed by almost 5 hours. While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

The right thing to do is for Kayak to refund our original.tickets....since we had no control over our delayed flight but I am sure that will not happen."

The guy working at the madrid ticketing counter that helped me check in my bags. Super cool dude. Very easy to talk to. Spoke perfect English and spanish because he was raised in usa but his mom is from spain. He was very detailed in I was going to have to navigate both madrid and dallas airports."
Cons: "The VERY first American Airline lady I met at Madrid airport who was like the first greeter. I was looking at all the different posted signs to see where to go and she says “hola” and i say “hola” back. She asked me which class i was in i said whichever the normal one is. All while im inching my way towards where i seem to already to know where to go. The lady kind of snaps at me and says “stop excuse me im talking to you.” I wasnt really walking away from this lady, i was inching towards what seemed to be i needed to go(and in fact was where i needed to go). I am fully capable of listening and moving at the same time. I dont need to be scolded like 5 year old child because she thinks I wasn’t listening to her. I was listening and progressing towards the place i need to be at the same time and also using two different languages in my head in order to talk to her. So that is just what i would call mulitasking for a person and not grounds for someone to use a parenting tactic on another adult at 730am."

Cons: "The entertainment system lost power in my section about 30 minutes into a ten hour flight, and while some of that time was spent sleeping I wasn't even able to turn on the reading light. I know the flight attendants tried several times to restart the system and I appreciate that, but there were several dark lonely hours spent waiting for dawn."

Cons: "Didn't let me take my hand luggage, small that complies with the size and told me only at gate, I said I had things that could brake and showed no concern and they would send it to my final distinction instead giving it to me in the end of first flight...I've been traveling around the world and the disrespect for customers and poor service of most of US carrier is amazing... some African companies are much better. on the second flight, almost two hours delay, the plane from philly to Lisbon, old, just s few tv screens, exactly like the North Korean airways..., bad food, my tray stayed with me the whole fly, flight attendant not very professional with no concern for customers and job."

Since booking with Kayak neither Alaska airlines or American Airlines would help in getting us an earlier flight and both airlines said they couldn't help after repeated calls. Won't be booking any American Airlines flights throug Kayak again."

Pros: "The TVs/back of the chairs were great because they could shut off completely so there was no screen glare when you want to sleep, the headphone jack worked with good sound quality, and there was a decent movie selection. Staff was courteous and the food was fine."

The only thing I didn't like was that I'd wanted to book a return direct flight on American Airlines as well, but the price skyrocketed from a few hundred to over $2200, which is just outrageous, so I booked TAP Portugal instead. My friend paid under $600 round trip and it boggles the mind that the same flights shot up to over $2k... It's not realistic to expect customers to stay loyal to an airline that prices them out."

Are flight from Boise sucked we we're 4 to 5 hours late due to the gas contamination in Boise and we weren't informed until a hour + after from the time our flight was suppose to go out. We weren't very happy. They new the night prior, so we could have came to the airport 3 hours later and been just fine. Which also made us miss the connecting flight"

Cons: "Plane from BDL was delayed which led do a missed connection in DCA. Rebooked on the 335 pm flight which is 3 hours later than my original arrival time. Very inconvenient for me as I had previous plans."

Cons: "AA wants to charge $75 to change tickets to take an earlier flight. Plenty of seats available on the earlier flight, while standby passengers not able to get onto the later flight. I lost 4 hours, AA lost revenue, standby passengers stuck in Philly. Also, no air conditioning on this flight."

Cons: "The obese person was NOT supposed to sit next to me (in my row) he had the seat in front of me. He saw that there were 2 men in his row, he switched to sit in the middle seat 1 row behind. However, i paid extra to move up and i ended up being squashed, sitting very uncomfortably. The man took up half my seat. The flight attendants knew of the messed up seating but did not correct it. Overall disappointed, they should make sure everyone sat in the right place."

Cons: "The economy seats on the Lufthansa A350 were extremely uncomfortable and seemed excessively narrow as well has having cramped legroom. I could not get comfortable let alone sleep, and my backside felt like I had been sitting on a park bench rather than a long haul coach airline seat. I will avoid this aircraft if possible in the future."

Cons: "The flight took off late due to baggage not being loaded in a timely manner and the wait on the flight when we arrived was much longer due to equipment not being handled properly; because of this my family and I missed our connecting flight."

Cons: "This flight was five hours late. there was an exchange of four planes before United could provide one that did not need maintenance. When it was time to board there was a last minute gate change to a different terminal. Surely United must have known of this hours in advance."

There way no anouncement about a delay just one that the crew arrived, nothing about why we where delayed or estimation of time when we would board. Other delayed fights where getting information over the loud speaker. The attendants left the area came back when we could board and hurded us on the plane. Not a friendly face or smile. Everyone was tired, a little civility would have gone a long way"

Cons: "I don't think it's fair that you don't any money back of you cancel your plane ticket. It shouldn't matter what type of ticket it was. You should at least be allowed a voucher for the amount of the ticket at a later date. Even if it's a percentage off, you should be allowed something. How is it that you can buy a car worth thousands, and be allowed to return it under the Lemon Law. When a company called can make billions of dollars doing this, it's just taking advantage of the little people."

Pros: "I think your agents on up did well handling rebooking and upset people. I was told I would miss my flight first thing this morning but the agent was able to get me on and I arrived in CR only 1. Hour late. Thank you for the great service. It has to be hard picking up the pieces after the hurricane."

Cons: "So we arrived at the desk after a 7hr international flight ready for the final 1hr leg - only to be confronted with "flight overbooked" looking for 9 volunteers - how can you over book a 40 seat flight by 9 ???? So we had an anxious wait wondering if we'd be dumped from the flight - we weren't but it wasn't enjoyable waiting for the flight and our meeting with our grand kids."

They put my daughters safety at risk with such lack of compassion. Caused such unbelievable stress and chaos. I will continue to tell everyone I know how horrible this was. Cons: "Typical horror story... Lied to by gate attendants... Hours late to destination with no apologies... Essentially got totally screwed without reimbursement."

Pros: "Finally got us on the plane after a 6 hour delay. They decided to "update" the computer software on the plane after they had us all on there. Took about 90 minutes. Very displeased, will do my best avoid United in the future"

Cons: "After getting pushed back 3 times it finally got canceled and left me and 4 other strangers to drive back home so I wouldn't miss work. Another not being late to work in the military is not good to go."

Cons: "The baggage check price was extremely excessive, and then it was lost with no type of reimbursement. Will do everything in my power not to fly United ever again."
