While I understand there are some delays sometimes, this was the ONLY flight to Greensboro out of DCA, and the times kept changing throughout the day, even though the gate agents knew that the issue was that the crew was delayed. There should be backup crew available and when there are delays, the passengers should be kept informed. There should be other flight options available when this happens. I never received an apology from anyone I encountered throughout the process, and some personnel were rude even though I was polite."

Soon after we were told of a gate change, the marquee then said the flight would not arrive until 11 pm it is a one hour flight, so we actually arrived at 10 pm."

Cons: "The Washington airport is horrible. The gate we left from was not a gate but a series of doors that buses came to. This wouldn't be so bad if they were able to handle it in an orderly way, but the airport showed complete incompetence in organizing anything and there were people everywhere trying to find the right door which kept changing on them, and the times kept changing...it was a mess. Then, when we finally got on the plane and were about to take off, the air traffic control tower called and said that their flight path was incorrect and to not take off...but didn't give them a new flight path for nearly two hours as we sat on the runway. Nationalize the airports in DC, fire the whole lot and start fresh, I'd say."

Althiugh the flight is only 1.35 hours, I was surprised that flight attendants didn't even make an effort to offer a drink service. No turbulence or anything, just seems they were lazy."

Followed by long customer service lines and "sorry buts" to flat out lying from gate attendants and stewardesses. I know most of the airlines do it but now that you are making a profit I think it's time to give back to the customer when weather complicates their travel. But most of all, please just give us the decency of the truth -- it sucks-- but we can handle it. Yes there will always be those out of control customers that scream and yell, but most of us, as what I witnessed-when it all breaks down--are chill and understand. Complimentary drinks. Coupons for a later flight. All hands on deck with crazy knowledge of the routes you fly to ease rebooking. I realize we as a people can't stop flying, whether it be for work or family needs, but you can't keep treating us like stupid cattle. Thank you whoever reads this for letting me express my frustration and thank you AA ultimately for getting me to my destination."

Yet at every stage the flight crew and gate staff did an outstanding job communicating and seeking to alleviate passenger woes. With delays, we missed connections, and yet AA worked wonderfully to find alternatives. At the end of the day, we arrived at our destination, and even our luggage made the trip successfully! Wonderful courtesy, adaptability, and determination to serve. Thank you."

The airline was not transparent about the cause of the delay nor did they announce each new departure time. Once we finally boarded the plane, they still insisted on charging us for simple in-flight beverages which are standard on every other domestic flight I've taken. They also charge $40 for carry on bags and $20 to choose your seat. We just received an apology email and $100 voucher towards future flights, but after the delays and hidden fees, I think I'll pass."

But what's with that thing you call a "pull down tray". You can't get a computer on it, even my tiny MAC. So I put my briefcase on my lap and I guess made my own little table. That's a bit much."

That did not really make any sense, other than they make more money that way. Also irritating that if you want to have a specific seat, rather than waiting for what you might get at the airport, you have to call them, and pay $13 for a seat reservation. They are nickel and diming you, or rather in dollars. It is a rip off."

Cons: "This airline has gone downhill. Charging for carry on luggage and seat selection. No entertainment or Wifi. uncomfortable seats that do not recline. No complimentary ANYTHING. People will say this is the future, but the future is bleak. I will most likely not fly this airline again."

Pros: "Smooth flight. No mechanical problems."
Cons: "No free food or drinks. Not even a coke. No inflight movie. Staff seems to be all from Africa and have poor language skills. Sat on Tarmac for 20 minutes after arrival - no gate available, and waited 45 more minutes for the luggage to get to the baggage claim carosel."

Cons: "The seats were tight. Not much leg room. Very expensive to check luggage, $40! No WIFI no TV"

Pros: "Friendly staff. The tray tables are god awful. They need to be bigger and with a latch. How are we supposed to study and do work. Useless. I was charged for everything. Frontier is Queen at hidden fees. No thanks, not a great airline."

Pros: "the crew and all personnel were very competent and nice. the flight itself was great - smooth, arrived early."
Cons: "Frontier charged fees much higher than any other airline for everything! Beginning with a small carry on suitcase that I have used for years with all airlines I had to pay $45 to carry on or $40 and the ticket counter. I only had a small purse in addition to the carry on suitcase. This made my flight to and from $80-$90 more expensive. Then if you chose a seat you had to pay extra - if you wanted a reclining seat you had to pay extra - the exit row seats were $50 more -you had to pay for sodas - pretzels - everything! I will NOT fly Frontier again - it is cheaper to fly a major airline without all the add on costs. Dianne Robinson"

Cons: "I had an 11-hour delay from DCA to DIA. There was little, if any, communication from Frontier personnel to passengers about why, and what was being done about it. There were points in time where there wasn't a representative at the ticket counter or the gate. The customer service reps on the phone couldn't help either. I eventually ended up spending the night in Denver, and over 27 hours late into SFO."

Cons: "I can't believe you even have to pay for a Diet Coke! What's next? Toilet paper?"

Cons: "I don't like the airlines' carry on policy of charging $45 if you bring a carry-on bag onboard to be placed in the overhead. It is a ridiculously fee, especially since once on board passengers are only offered water anything else has to be purchased. To some extent flying is a luxury and most will pay for that experience but Frontier was not luxurious and I will avoid flying Frontier in the future."

Cons: "The seats were fixed, tiny and I was uncomfortable the whole time."

Pros: "There was plenty of room on the flight. Seats were comfortable and the staff was friendly."
Cons: "I was disappointed to see that wifi was not offered on the flight. As well as limited food options."

Pros: "Safe travels. Available, affordable flights when I needed them. THOSE ARE THE MAIN THINGS"
Cons: "*Being surprised (who reads the microscopic print anyway?) by the luggage fees, which meant we checked a bag, that added 45-60 minutes per flight, to check in and retrieve luggage. BIG BUMMER! I travel light- usually less than 30#, but I can't get that in my purse. *One hour + delay from Denver to DC with a computer problem on our plane. * Boy, are those planes every crowded! I'm not expecting a LazyBoy, but this was almost a plastic folding chair.--Why not set us up a few more inches and let us put a carry-on under the plastic seat?"
