Pros: "This was first Alaska airlines trip and I want to do more! I showed up at the Seattle airport and tried to use one of the many conveniently placed kiosks. I couldn't find my trip, BECAUSE I HAD BOOKED FOR THE WRONG DAY!. This could have been very stressful but an attendant near the (short) line asked me if needed help and immediately redirected me to the VIP line. There, I found another very short line, and smiling, enthusiastic staff. The young woman who helped me got my info, and walked away to get the problem solved with a supervisor. She returned a short time later, my boarding pass in hand, upgraded me to Premium seating and TSA pre check -- without me even asking! On the plane, I mostly slept, but when I woke up I found the attendant had left me my boxes snack which was a mix of nuts and dried fruit in a fancy package. The seats seemed more comfortable than they were in recent trips on United and Southwest. There were plugs everywhere for phone and device charging. There was free wifi(!!). And there were devices available for borrowing. There was even a website for free movie streaming. In a time when most other airlines have sour faced (need to retire!) attendants (Southwest an exception), and EVERYTHING is a la Carte pricing, it is so nice to fly with a company that tries to make passengers happy and comfortable. Ran from gate F to gate c24 arrived at 10:23 p.m. Slight to the park at 10:25 p.m. and they closed the door on me as I was running up there. Ran across the entire terminal to get there and they would not let me on. Last Flight of the night to Bismarck. Missed my uncle's 90th birthday party. Would not give me food voucher. Delta gate agent told me she would lose her job if she did not close the doors 8 minutes prior. However the Minneapolis flight waited for 15 minutes for people to board that plane. How does that compute? Why would they not wait 3 minutes for me rather than pay the money to put me up in a hotel?"

Cons: "Long Delays, Over Booked Flights, Customer Service is not helpful, Wrong info delivered by Customer Service, No boarding gate info, Luggage was damaged, and I was charged a large premium with no added value. Delta sold me a 1st class flight because of their delays and overbooking their flights. This was because they could not fulfill the ticket I had. This was Delta's solution to their problem caused by them. I still have no idea why the flights were delayed. On top of all this, I overheard a walk-on pilot ask if there was room for him to catch a lift home. The flight attendant responded with "absolutely this flight is not full at all, you can sit right here". Wait I had to pay 200 bucks extra for an overbooked flight and you are having your Delta representatives say different. This was my first and last trip with Delta. I spent 1000 dollars for round trip ticket from Seattle to Spokane WA. No way is that OK or acceptable under any circumstances to treat your customers like this. The best part about all of this is, I have sent feedback and called customer service to talk to a manager to hear the blame put on back on me. Perception is reality Delta. Awful service, awful prices, awful care, awful communication, and awful value for the money."

Cons: "On this A320 craft, old style, the First class seats are a joke. I had seat 2B. The pitch is apparently less than in the Comfort+ rows. The passengers in 1A and 1B started reclining even before departure, and during the whole flight. For me and my neighbor, with that seat on our chest, it was impossible to reach down to the seat-back pocket, not to mention to the bag stowed under the seat in front. To get out of the seat, I almost could not get my legs through the 5-in. interval between the back of the front seat and the irremovable armrest. I shook the passenger sleeping in 1B rather violently a couple times. The lady in seat 2B apologized, but she had to climb and put her feet on my seat to get out of hers, there was really no other way. Delta needs to address this ridiculous situation of their First Class seats urgently."

I was told I couldn't get on the flight with 3 bags, even though all 3 would fit under the seat. The free entertainment contained a grey box over part of the image reminding I could pay for more. Was only given a tiny glass of soda, I remember when they would give a can. I will consider another airline in the future."

There was no food or snacks served but the crew did offer free drinks: oj, tea, water, or soda. if you can upgrade to economy plus it's definitely worth it. Spend the money for it. You will have more leg room for sure."

I can understand the theory behind the grouping, but, by time it was my time to board, since I was in group 5, all the overhead luggage bins was filled up. Also, I am a big man that buy my tickets months in advance and choose my seating wisely, months in advance. Just to give it up to a family sitting next to me that wants to sit together. That was my choice in the matter though."

Cons: "The flight was delayed hours before the flight, then again, then the second delay was revoked. The flight was from Seattle to DC to Philadelphia, and the layover in DC was too short. A delay that was at first 10-15 minutes, then changed 4 or 5 times until it ended up being a 30 minute delay caused me to miss my next flight because I only had a 50 minute layover in DC. No one could tell us why the flight was delayed in the first place, then I got off my plane, and was told that I had already missed my flight, and given a voucher for a hotel room, and it turned out that the second flight was delayed as well. Then I had to wait an hour for my bag to make it from the plane to baggage claim because they did not put it on the conveyor with the rest of the passengers' luggage, even though I specifiaclly asked them to do so when I got off the plane and got my hotel voucher."
