I had to run to make it to the different terminal and I even was called over head once I got to the terminal. On the flight from Seattle to San Diego the flight crew was very rude, seemed irritated when asked questions and lacks good customer service. Not friendly, abrupt responses questions and made me feel that I was bothering them."

It seems that they installed more row of seats than much needed restrooms. They only had two in the back, only two in the middle of the economy section, I don’t know about the coach class and the first class cabin but as far as the economy class that was it, and that’s terrible. That is less than a half restrooms normally available on other carrier I’ve known. They should learn from ANA or Canada Air. The cabin temperature seems to be rather cold throughout the flight, yet there was no pillow (only paid one) nor blanket available."

It’s worth noting that when I say “our”, I also refer to my visibly pregnant wife. We asked one crew member for water (WATER!) and were told they ran out. Moments later, the same crew member was passing out water bottles to other passengers. There’s much more to say about our flight, but if theses two instances don’t prompt a change, then the rest won’t matter anyway."

Cons: "Hawaiian Airlines Customer service from the bottom of the food chain up was the worst CD experience i have ever had. I had an issue and needed to get on of the reservations cancelled and get a voucher. I purchased 4 tickets but since one was in another persons name i had no jurisdiction over it according to them. They kept putting me on the line with different people in another country who had zero CS skills. Then they kept telling me that my reason doesn’t matter and that they had guidelines. And it was a pre written script because they all said the same thing. When the manager called me they basically made me feel an inch tall. Then when corporate (Hawaiian airlines) called me they told me the same thing. Basically held me hostage for my money and then sold my seat to someone else."

We had a toddler on board a few rows up who either screeched or cried the whole time, as in 5 of the almost 6 hour flight. A REMINDER TO BRING YOUR EARPLUGS. The parents did their best, and at one point I was in the aisle with mom and baby during some turbulence and the child got sick. I let the attendant who was serving drinks know about the situation and he didn't miss a beat and helped mom and baby recover, and got the area cleaned up. It might not sound like much but it was the above and beyond that most people don't realize flight attendants take care of routinely. I appreciated that."
Cons: "The sugary breakfast. I was so surprised that literally nothing in the breakfast did not contain lots of sugar. The bread was inedibly sweet, the nonfat yogurt was overly sweet and had a weird chemical taste. Please at least low fat. Grapes, one of the highest sugar fruits, were the only thing I was able to eat. Please consider offering low/no sugar breakfast options, and wheat free options. I would have loved a hard boiled egg and some cheese and fruit. Couldn't really figure out the entertainment screen. Couldn't get the movies to load. I wasn't that interested in the screen but others might be. Tip: the jack is in the armrest."

2hours delayed and didn't give notification right away 🤷‍♀️. I even lost my food to rush to go to the airport. Paid $60 for seafood plate ending just leave it almost halfway on my way to the airport find out the flight was delayed. I wish they have more accurate policy to let passengers knows for any problems about the flight as soon or as early they can

The TSA screening is absolutely unnecessary. It is dehumanizing and has been proven to be in-effective!

Anyone that purchased a Delta 1st Class seat should have access to the Delta Sky Club. My wife and I purchased 1st Class tickets for a Delta flight from SeaTac to Washington Dulles but were denied entrance to the SeaTac Delta Sky Club because we did have an American Express card.

Really accommodating staff, and on flight amenities. I would fly with Delta again.

Pros: "The seats were very good. The crew was helpful and friendly."
Cons: "We had a connection in Detroit. The flight from Seattle to Detroit arrived about 30 minutes late, and we barely made the connection. Apparently Delta had not told the Detroit-Boston flight to wait a few minutes for us. We did make the connection, but we arrived at the gate with no seat assignment (we had been bumped the day before from our original flight because of a mechanical problem) as the plane was loading. Had we missed the flight, we would have had to spend the night in Detroit and go to Boston the next day. Delta should have told the gate agent that we were coming."

I'm not sure the tray table was wiped down, or at least not very well. The in-flight tracker was completely incorrect, I was on a 4-hour flight and it read 14 hours and counting throughout."

They tried to request ppl to take next day flight by giving away 300 gift card etc. the ppl who were told there are no seats upset and arguing at the gate. Flight was delayed for one hour. Once we are on airplane, they are still shuffling seats around, so ppl cannot move forward. Just standing there for 10mins waiting for things to settle. Flight attendants did not give us a headphone. (I have a headphone for iPhone X so I could not connect it to their entertaiment system.)"

The electric outlets at each of our first class seats were not functional, both the USB ports and the electric plugs did not work so we were not able to charge our phones during the flight. When I mentioned this to the flight attendant her response was that she had not received a report that the electric was not working. No other assistance was offered. There was very little legroom even though these were sold as first class seats. The plane was old and dirty, the armrests were sticky."
Cons: "Over an hour delay before boarding due to supposedly bad weather. Because flight was overbooked they were offering $400 gift card to change to standby on another flight. If you didn’t make that flight (evening), you’d be confirmed on a flight the following morning with one stop in Detroit (we booked a nonstop to Chicago). Uh, no thanks. Then to top it off, we’ve landed and been told that it will be at least an hour before we can deplane due to no availability at the gate (it’s 1145 pm right now). All this plus their new policy of not allowing us to select our seats because we bought the cheapest tickets. Really Delta? You go ahead and cater to the rich and I’ll choose to fly with another airline."
Pros: "This was our first time flying Delta and it was a very pleasurable experience. Boarding was very straight forward and the seats allocated comfortable. A surprise for us was being asked if we would like to move seats from the back of the aircraft to Comfort Economy (we think it was to do with weight balance! but appreciated very much none the less). The flight attendants were very professional and helpful, as you would hope all attendants on all airlines would be. We'd gladly fly Delta again anytime."

Cons: "The flight attendants were uniformly rude and nasty to passengers from start to finish. As I boarded, I asked for a piece of art to be stored in the wardrobe compartment. This was treated as an inconvenience. During and after boarding, flight attendants addressed passengers rudely when encouraging them to take their seats in a timely fashion. Later, when my seat mate politely asked a FA to repeat the food options, she asked, "Excuse me?" several times and seemed very irritated to have to repeat the choices for him. Also, near the end of the flight, a pillow was on the ground and a FA asked those seated in my row to pick it up. We responded that it wasn't ours and she said something to the effect of, "Oh yeah? So how did it get there?" (Maybe because someone else dropped it and we didn't notice?) The FAs seemed irritated to serve passengers at all. Each time they passed through for beverage or meal service, I felt like I was imposing on them. I have never witnessed anything quite like it. Cons: "Since it was a flight from Seoul, Korea to Seattle; it would've been nicer if all the movies had Korean subtitles-- my 4-yo boy who only speaks Korean, couldn't make it through more than 15 mins of a movie because he couldn't understand (of course, some of that is due to age & short attention-span). But he kept saying, "I hate English" in Korean while trying to pick a movie. Also, I'm 6'2"; so while it was nice having the whole row for my kids to lay down in-- I was cramped and uncomfortable the whole flight, even moreso with Delta's seats being closer together than on other international carriers I've flown."

I panicked internally and asked her how that was possible?! She said the cutoff was at 5:45am and I missed it. I asked if there were other flights available today or tomorrow and she said there was nothing she could do and that I had to call the booking company to see if they could book me. I wanted to cry because my friend had just dropped me off and I called to see if she was close enough to turn back. Luckily she hadn’t left yet. I called the booking company and they were able to book me a trip for the following day but they charged me an additional $100. I wish they had disclosed that we need to be there 45 minutes to an hour early otherwise you miss your flight. And it’s ridiculous that I had to pay an extra $100... financially it was stressful due to the covid 19 situation. I was extremely disappointed in how the lady at the check in counter at American Airlines treated me. She www extremely rude and I have never been spoken to in a way that made me feel attacked."

On board WiFi can be used to access movies and other entertainment on the your own device but make sure your battery is charged and you have an external battery also since the seats don't have power. I tried to sleep but it is not easy for me to fall sleep when the seat back reclines only 3 inches so I didn't have luck taking a nap. Conclusion: I am not taking this flight any more. I will go back to taking will switch back to flying Delta even though there are no direct flights."

After assigning to another flight, it was delayed and gate changed about 10 times and was finally cancelled after it was boarded and left gate after 2am due to engine problem. We had to cancel our trip since it was a short trip for a funeral and we had missed it. AA offered no compensation and no apology (not during the whole night of delays and cancels)."

The crew was not very helpful because I almost went into a hypothermia condition because the air in the cabin was extremely cold. When I ask for a blanket one of the stewardesses said that AA would no longer have blankets in flight which I prove it wrong when I saw in the flight Mai-SDQ blanquets all over the cabin. The soliton they gave me was that they would ask the crew to raise the temp in the cabin, I had to make the request three times and I had to tell the stewardess that if not raising the temperature in the cabin I could have gone into an emergency hypothermia crisis. I had to take another shirt from my carry-on to put it over my shirt to warm me up."

Cons: "The boarding process for just about any airline is nearly identical. It always seems like it takes longer to board than expected even if, in reality, it's not an unreasonable amount of time. The only think I didn't care for was that overhead storage in the area I was sitting was just about full by the time I was seated which meant that I had to store my carry on a few rows behind where I sat. This meant that during off-boarding I needed to go against the flow of people to get back to my carry on. All in all, it was a minor inconvenience."

Cons: "The check in process at JFK was a disaster. The kiosk check in machines were constantly malfunctioning, where to line up was unclear, and staff acted frustrated. After several failed attempts with the kiosks you have to wait in line to check in at the counter anyways. It would have saved almost an hour of my time to just go straight to the counter-- had I been allowed to. I wanted to check a bag which contained some fragile items. Several bottles of wine which I wrapped in bubble wrap and cushioned with my packed clothes. I requested a "Fragile" sticker to be put on my bag. I was told "We don't do that here". So I asked if they handle ALL bags with extreme care and I was laughed at and told to go on my way. When I got my bag at my destination-- the outside of my leather suitcase was sliced to the lining. There were scuff marks and torn leather. My wine had been completely shattered. Not just a crack in the bottle, but flattened completely. My clothes were stained, my bag ruined. I don't know if putting a fragile sticker on would have prevented this, but I don't understand why they just "don't do that". We are trusting our property to the airline when we check bags. I will never trust American Airlines ever again. They don't want to know if I have anything fragile, and they don't care when I tell them."

Also, entertainment: they had a movie on the pop-down screens, and 4 free movies to stream to your device using onboard wifi, as well as 2 tv shows. So maybe I'm being harsh. But it was a transcontinental flight and they didn't have headrest screens loaded with movies. Is this only for international flights? The movies were bad, or at least not appealing to me ('Keanu' and 'Zoolander 2'). It was possible to pay for additional movies, but who wants to do that? It was sort of the EasyJet model, where you get good basic service but pay for everything additional that one gets for free on Delta. Maybe that was reflected in the price I paid for the ticket, but I was expecting that AA would be in the same league as United and Delta. One nice perk: free wifi for T-Mobile customers, including me."

Delayed flight was communicated in advance but still led to a missed connection

They came around with snacks so many times they might as well have served a meal. They had a pretty limited selection of TV shows/movies compared to other airlines, and it played their COVID safety ads every. single. time. you started a new episode or show, even if you got disconnected partway through. I also had issues with the charger in my seat - it was loose and my phone would be charging on and off. However, it was a well-priced flight, comfortable, and staff was nice. No complaints on getting to my destination on time!

When I asked for options for an earlier flight into Rapid City so I didn’t have to wait 24 hours and miss my visit with my sister, he looked at different hubs (Chicago, Minneapolis) to see if they had any available flights into Rapid, he checked for double bookings, and when he couldn’t find anything, he put me on the standby list for the first flight out in the morning and wrote down the flight information for all of the United flights from Denver for the following day. Marlin provided excellent customer service and was a huge credit to the company."
Cons: "The flight was supposed to leave at 3:56 pm and didn’t leave until 7:30 pm. I would estimate at least 15-20 people missed connecting flights because of the delay. According to the United app, the delay initially started in Portland due to mechanical issues, which took over 3 hours. Then, there was a weather delay in San Francisco according to the gate agent - there was a ground hold and no planes were landing or flying out. At some point, I would think another plane would have been an option rather than delaying a flight for this long and disrupting holiday travel for so many people."

The staff in LAX were not as friendly but then I am just glad that everything was handled for her at such a young age being taken through such a big place. But over all she was happy with the in-flight entertainment and I was pleased with the amount of baggage allowed at no extra fee."

Flight crew were polite, but some clearly didn't want to be there. This is the first flight I've ever been on where I was in tears from pain, and i felt like i couldnt ask for water or even the wheelchair I needed after the flight."
Cons: "My friend and I have taken our hiking packs to Alaska, California, Washington, and all along the East coast. Never have we been asked to check our packs. I was mostly surprised, at first. Once I was seated a man in front of me had his hiking pack and two ukuleles in their cases, neither of which could fit under his seat. That's when I became frustrated. O This plane sucks: our knees were slammed into the seat in front of us because the chairs are so close together. No USB plugs. Plane was dirty, scuff marks on the wall and ceiling. There was paper in the pouch that looked like a mouse had chewed on it."

This was after I had a 8-1/2 hour flight from Copenhagen, Denmark. Also, the seat space and amenities are so inferior to international flights. The narrowness of the seat and closeness of the rows makes it hard to be comfortable. After being treated to two meals on the international flight, one small two-inch bag of snack mix is almost pointless."

At which point the desk agent made the announcement she would no longer take bags. Luckily my bag was small enough to be considered a carry on so I just went to security. I don't know what people with large bags behind me did? then it takes another 45 mins to get through security at which point they see my 5 inch knife on X-ray machine. Which I packed 3 days earlier when I planned to check my bag. Lost the knife, fine, my fault, goodbye favorite pocket knife. but now I am randomly selected for explosives LOL by TSA. I get to the gate the gate agent scans a ticket for the person infront of me. I step up and the same gate agent puts her hand over the scanner and says sorry it is late!? There were 6 other people behind me and this is a 22 person plane. So I still not upset walk back out of the security area because TSA closes the area in between flights and call United. They get me on the next flight out and rescheduled my following flight only a 3 hour wait. An hour goes by and the first desk agent, they have been holding the first flight because enough people aren't onboard. SLB is a joke."

Multiple people around me were also asking around if the chairs recline. I have a mild back injury and sitting up at 90 degrees the entire way was very uncomfortable."

Even if the trip had been in a one wheeled barrow, it would have been good. To get to what you want which is the mechanics of the trip. The two people who attended to the aisle chair, most teams were competent. Some hadn't done many passengers so they were fumbling with the straps. I've learned that I almost alway have to ask for one at the gate where they check or issue, (what's it called, loading permits, some kind of pass, not landing pass. loading pass. I can't remember and my wife has gone to bed.) Well, they have to come up with an aisle chair because I've only got 1 1/2 legs. I always make it to the seat on the plane, but the competency of the various crews is uneen. Sorry my answer is so nonspecific but I don't remember one airline from another. Great people all, get the job done."

Pros: "From what I encountered at the crack of dawn this morning... The staff handled somnolent, irratable passengers in a full capacity 757, with nothing but unwaivering efforts and kindness. (shrieking baby temper-tantrums, service dogs, and people allergic to service dogs included) Even while dealing with the most self-entitled, disappointingly inconsiderate individuals, the flight attendants kept their composure and remained understanding, professional and accomadating. As for that rude, pompous pig of a woman up in front.. try and remember we're all human here and you should attempt to treat others like so. I can't imagine the staff being particularly fond of the idea of spending an hour delay with your continuous, huffy bitching in their ear. (as if they have any control over the situation"
Cons: "Me and my boyfriend's seats were separated on both flights.. apparently it was in the fine print.. I don't know :/ kind of sleasey, kind of lame. Be transparent. Luckily, met a great guy who had no issues switching! :)"

Cons: "Well no movie screens, and when you get on the plane they say there is internet movies, but you need to download the ultimate app for United to have it work!! The internet was so slow I could not download on my iPhone 7 Plus with 256 gigabytes and well No Movie!!!! It is the first time that I have not watched or played something in maybe 40yrs!! Also I asked for a seat that would recline and they gave me the only seats that do not because the emergency exit was behind!! The had no sandwiches or salads, they only had chips, crackers, etc"

Cons: "That my flight got delayed in Denver over an hour and I missed my flight from LA to BJX because of that. I was suppose to land in BJX At 6am on Friday April 28th for a family emergency and now my next flight isn't till 1pm! This is the worst flight experience I have ever had in my life. Never in my life will I ever fly with united again. My plans got ruined, I was forced to sleep on the cold dirty floor of LAX. This cost me a lot of time and money, and I am upset about it. I will tell all my peers about this horrible experience and encourage them to never fly with united ever again. I do expect some sort of compensation over this horrible experience."

Pros: "From the Take off location in Low Angeles the United personnel was terrific...my parents both have health issues and the wheelchair..go cart service was great..."
Cons: "When returning from Houston to LA...i appreciated that the wheelchair service was ready when they arrived....what i didn't like was that as we entered the elevator one of the workers made a comment to his partner that there was to much weight cause the elevator made a certain noise...but not as if he was concerned more jokingly...my mother is heavy set ...she and our party thought that was rude and unnecessary...they both looked at her...i was going to bring it to there attention, but what good would of it done...so please address it....there were 2 gentlemen...one pushing my father which was a Hispanic male and the other was a black male pushing mother...the one who made the comment was the Hispanic male....and another problem was the airplane was very warm..."

Cons: "The lady in the front desk treated me different then other passengers, i am the only one who was asked to put her carry on in the box to check the fit, and even didn't give me the chance to fit it there, she said its not feet i need to check it in, and i was forced to check my carry on in! The othere passenger have carry on just like mine and some are even bigger then mine!!! They wasn't asked to fit there carry on to the box she just let them in the flight with their bags thats a shame to united airlines who use to be until today my favorite and most recommended flight company. As a result of having my carry on checked in, for now my ride need to be delyed that's going to cost me! Cons: "That I wasn't going to make my connecting flight because of delays which meant overnight in airport- they wouldn't put me in a hotel!! But I made my connecting flight.... Because it was suuuuuper delayed- no one's fault. So scratch that poor I'll give it 2 stars..."
Pros: "Barb M. was at the front desk at the United Lounge. She is an incredibly kind human being. I was very sick and this flight was delayed so it was going to cause me to miss my connecting flight overseas. She tried all that she could to rebook me on a different flight but the problem was the destination's air traffic control, not the airplane, so it wasn't going to fix the problem. I was able to rebook my connecting flight, at a cost, but at least I wasn't going to miss it. Barb went and made me hot tea with fresh ginger, mint leaves, and honey for my throat. Through a difficult situation, she was a ray of sunshine and kindness."
Cons: "Every time I travel United, it is delayed. I don't understand why. In this situation the problem was the airline so I understand that is beyond what United controls."

Cons: "Flight left about 3-3.5 hours late. Add that to the time you have to show up early to the airport and I could've been almost home in my car. We were boarded and left to sit for a long time then the pilot came on saying the mechanic needed more time to look at the tire which might need to be changed. After another 15-20 min sitting, pilot comes on and says we need to get off the plane so the maintenance could be done. Ok I'd rather fly safe than be on time but really? Why doesn't this airline have enough planes that the maintenance can be done when the plane isn't scheduled to fly? So many people missed connections and we ended up getting home so much later than we had expected! Honestly I would rather the airline have emailed saying flight delayed 3 hours so I could have had more time in SF rather than sitting in an airport eating a mediocre airport meal for dinner. They had to have known the tire was almost to the point of changing right? I mean I would hope it's checked each flight. Just all together inconvenient. Like they book all theses flights to make money and yet if they had fewer but didn't make anyone waste the day or night at the airport so they could perform routine maintenance it may be worth an extra few bucks in my book. My time is valuable too, and I don't think I was the only one on the flight who thought so. Maybe United doesn't value anyone else's time other than theirs. Guess this is why we have several airlines to choose from and we will not likely fly United again."

Cons: "United had us board and unboard and then board again due to flight delays. United also told us the delay would be only 40 minutes, but I looked at the delay in SFO and it was 2 hours. Eventually United also increased our delay by 30 minute intervals until it was about 2 hours. Once I arrivied in SFO I got a text message notification stating my luggage had been put on an incorrect flight and I would have to return to get my luggage. The attendants at the podium were rude. This was my first terrible flying experience ever."
Pros: "Once in the air the flight was great."
Cons: "1/2 hr before boarding should have occurred we were notified of a delay- 1/2 hr. I knew I was going to miss my connection and asked, and told if I did they would put me on the next one out an hr later, but could not nor would not address it until necessary. When we arrived, they informed me of the gate to go to... which we ran to... and when we got to there were told the plane left 15 minutes ago."

Cons: "Hour delay that made me miss my connecting flight. Customer service agent, Theresa, at the United gate was more interested in checking her cell phone text messages & handing out $10 food vouchers than the long of people who have conflicts with connecting flights or missing events in the destination they were flying to. Every minute lost could prevent customers from obtaining another immediate or comparable flight to their destination. Customer service agent sent those who were going to have problems with their connecting flights to the United Airlines service desk, of which, there were no customer service agents at any of the four available stations. I waited 10 minutes for an agent & no one arrived. When I went back to the original line I was standing in, I was forced to go to the back of the line rather than the place I was originally standing. Therefore I waited in line an additional 20-30 minutes. Once I was served they did not have any more seats available on direct flights to Melbourne. They wanted me to fly to NY, then Sydney & then Melbourne. Additionally the customer service agent did not seem confident this flight was not going to have any hiccups. Worst of all, I had been planning this trip for months & it was ruined by United Airlines."

Cons: "The fact that we had a connecting flight to minot from Denver. Arrived late to Denver because of weather, but my stroller that I had left on the jetway in Seattle was never put on the plane which I didn't know until I got to minot. I was going to wait for it in denver, but I would have missed my flight to minot had I waited 5 more minutes. We arrived to minot only to find out that our 3 suitcases, one stroller and 2 car seats were never in the flight. Awful! And my connecting flight was even delayed an extra 55 min so I don't quite know where my things are."
Pros: "overall the trip was pleasant, i dont like my 1 carryon be selected to not go in the overhead when groups like couples or families get to take on a few - but i did receive my carryon in a timely fashion considering we were not let off board after 15 min of landing"
