Cons: "I was asked to move to a different seat in order for a family to sit together. i was happy to do so however i was at the very front of the plane where the restroom was and where the flight attendant was messing around with all kinds of cabinets and drawers the whole time. I had already been awake for 20 hrs traveling and that seat was so loud i couldn't sleep. it was also FREEZING and i was trying my best to wrap up in my scarf but I was surprised the flight attendant didn't offer a blanket. Why was it so cold??!?! My other flights were if anything warm but that flight was miserable."

Cons: "I was really excited about flying with your airline, as I have been told by many how awesome it is. However, I was on a red eye flight, and though excited to fly with you, knew I would be needing some sleep for this particular trip. I selected my seats online and boarded the plane. Shortly after takeoff I went to lean back for a restful sleep, however, the seats didn't recline at all. There was no mention on the site of this when selecting the seats. This is kind of important to some people. I'm disappointed in my flight, and the experience I had with this. I probably will not fly Alaskan airlines again."

Pros: "The crew was great, the plane clean. Took off on time, landed on time. leg room was decent. Seat profile is thinner with a hard foam, not uncomfortable but different, this is what improved the leg room."
Cons: "This was a redeye with 180 or so other people. The guy in front of me had his seat back all flight even when the crew said raise the seat backs for takeoff and landing. Seats were difficult to sleep in, head rest while adjustable is thin and gave no real head support, at the end of the flight my neck felt like it had whiplash. No food, on a 5+ hour flight, it was overnight, but the seat head rests made sleeping difficult."

Pros: "We were able to pay the extra $30 per person to get premium coach seats. The extra leg room made all the difference and the seats even seemed to have more lumbar support than usual. Crew was full of smiles. We've never had trouble with checked bags on Alaska and this flight was no exception."

The attendant couldn't have been less helpful. I joined a line to check in with a counter clerk. The counter positions were seriously understaffed. The clerks seemed to be working quite slowly and were quite unconcerned about the growing line. I'm glad I checked in early for my flight!"

Cons: "AA didn't notify me of their change to my itinerary so I missed my flight, they cancelled my return flight from Europe, and only offered to refund my ticket when I spoke to a supervisor. I drove 5.5 hours to another city to catch a flight to Europe, believing my return ticket was valid as AA first told me, only later to learn they cancelled it. Thanks to AA, I currently I have no return ticket. Others on this flight and on my later Iberia flight were cursing AA loudly so I don't think my issue is an anomaly, but is more likely AA's new standard of conduct."

They also switched the seating without telling us ahead of time, so my husband and I had to sit in middle seats, apart from each other on our anniversary trip. Very unhelpful and unfriendly when I inquired to change."

Cons: "Now Sherry in any documentation I received did it say that my flight was operated by United airlines. I waited at ANA check in until within the 2 hour window and went around and asked someone at United who confirmed that they were partners with ANA."

I paid over 200 for my ticket!! Luckily there was a nice polynesian young man who stepped in and helped right away. That couple made my experience HORRIBLE! I do want something done about that! I almost missed a very important event and they looked to be arguing with each other! They need to keep their personal stuff at home! I was so mad.however, the flight crew was awesome!"

When I went to get on the return flight I had a small sling purse, a small yarn bag (both hung on the same arm) and a bag of food for the lunch they wouldn't serve me. I was told I couldn't get on the flight with 3 bags, even though all 3 would fit under the seat. The free entertainment contained a grey box over part of the image reminding I could pay for more. Was only given a tiny glass of soda, I remember when they would give a can. I will consider another airline in the future."

Cons: "Lost my second flight because first one late, got a standby ticket for next flight, but the plane was full, was hungry, no money to spend in airport restaurants, United company should provide at least a breakfast for this inconvenience. Next flight will be with another company for sure."

Cons: "We were delayed at the gate then delayed again on the plane brocade they couldn't find someone to fill the fuel tank. Once that was complete, we had to wait quite some time before the slip came to the plane to be signed off on. The last issue was that they couldn't get the aircraft pushed out of the gate. The only positive was that my bags arrived this time."

Cons: "I was seated in the economy section. It was quite uncomfortable for a four hour flight. I'm 5'9" and didn't have enough space to stretch in the 737. I felt bad for the middle seat section because there was no room at all. I had an aisle seat and still didn't have enough room the stretch. There was no food or snacks served but the crew did offer free drinks: oj, tea, water, or soda. if you can upgrade to economy plus it's definitely worth it. Spend the money for it. You will have more leg room for sure."

I can understand the theory behind the grouping, but, by time it was my time to board, since I was in group 5, all the overhead luggage bins was filled up. Also, I am a big man that buy my tickets months in advance and choose my seating wisely, months in advance. Just to give it up to a family sitting next to me that wants to sit together. That was my choice in the matter though."

Pros: "The flight attendants were above and beyond. Both of them were very friendly and engaging. If all employees were on the same level as these two flight attendants everybody would enjoy their flying experience better. They are the type of employees that bring customers back."

Pros: "What a great experience. I have flown alaska airlines all my life but this experience with united is a game changer. New planes that are clean. Service was outstanding."

Pros: "The determination of the crew to get us off the ground as the de-icer was broken and we were racing the clock against a blizzard. They kindly offered us free TV for our patience. Efficient and professional removal of an unruly passenger. Professional management of a medical emergency as well. Crew was very friendly and accommodating given the circumstances."
Cons: "I was forced to check my bag due to no overhead space. After I got on the plane, an empty overhead compartment was found. Also when we finally landed, a gentleman pulled the smallest bag out of the overhead compartment that could have fit under his seat. We were offered the free TV viewing but I had very poor sound quality despite trying different channels and two different head sets. Out of your control to a degree but the woman in front of me, who was not in her assigned seat, reclined her chair, further impeding my ability to watch TV and my overall comfort in my seat. Planes need to remove reclining seats. It completely imposes on the comfort of the passenger behind them."

Cons: "The flight was delayed hours before the flight, then again, then the second delay was revoked. The flight was from Seattle to DC to Philadelphia, and the layover in DC was too short. A delay that was at first 10-15 minutes, then changed 4 or 5 times until it ended up being a 30 minute delay caused me to miss my next flight because I only had a 50 minute layover in DC. No one could tell us why the flight was delayed in the first place, then I got off my plane, and was told that I had already missed my flight, and given a voucher for a hotel room, and it turned out that the second flight was delayed as well. Then I had to wait an hour for my bag to make it from the plane to baggage claim because they did not put it on the conveyor with the rest of the passengers' luggage, even though I specifiaclly asked them to do so when I got off the plane and got my hotel voucher."

Cons: "I had a flight from Seattle to Miami with a layover in Denver. There was a staffing issue which caused the flight to be delayed 2 hours, causing me to miss my connection. Crystal, the customer service manager, explained that the customer service agent in Seattle was instructed to put most of us on different flights so we could get to our destination faster and she’s not sure why that didn’t happen, she then explained that I had two options: 1. Get on the next flight to Miami, departing the following night at 11:55pm, or 2. they refund the cost of my ticket ($234). That doesn’t sound too bad! I pulled out my laptop, found a flight for $219 with United that departed the next morning, showed Crystal, and said I’d just take the refund. Crystal then informed me that they can’t issue refunds at the airport and that I had to call some number to get my refund… during regular business hours. The following morning I called the number and spoke with a supervisor named Arnie. Arnie explained that she can only process refunds that are submitted by a customer service agent at the airport and wasn’t able/willing to help me. So I go back to the airport and talk to Scott, the manager at the ticket counter. Scott explained that Frontier messed something up with the staffing which caused the delay, Scott actually said the words “the delay was totally preventable.” He then explained that he did have the ability to give me a full refund, but that he wasn’t going to because while I paid for service from Seattle to Miami, and Frontier only provided service from Seattle to Denver, that because some service was provided, even though it wasn’t what I paid for or what I wanted, that the transaction was perfectly fair. I had to burn another vacation day for work, sit in the Denver airport for 24 more hours, and according to Scott, Frontier should have prevented this, and still, Scott assured me that this was perfectly fair. I then spoke with Martin, a condescending manager at the customer service center, who eventually told me that he authorized the full refund! However, he refused to put it in writing “company policy to never put anything in writing”, but said I could call the refunds dept to verify. So I did. I talked with Jen, a supervisor in Frontier’s refund dept who informed me that Martin does not have the authority to give me a full refund and it’s not in the system. Jen asked me to hand my phone to Martin to talk to him, but Martin refused to talk to her and eventually told me that Jen was right and the best they could do was request a refund and I’d be notified in 10 business days as to how much they decided was fair, Jen estimated that would be $35 - $80 of the $234 ticket… so I guess Martin was just lying to me to not have to deal with me. At the end of the day, if there is anything I am sure of, it’s that if something does go wrong, you can be absolutely sure Frontier will do absolutely nothing to try to help you- even if it was 100% their fault."

A man came and told us that whatever was under Spirit Airlines was the only thing we can refund to you. My brother asked the lady "I thought you said the manager was a she". The lady goes "we have two". My brother goes "well, can we speak to her?" and the lady, in a very rude tone goes, "well do you want to hear the same thing twice?" The only reason we argued back was because that lady was extremely disgusting to us. The lady claimed we got an email sent out to us saying our flight was cancelled and it was not. We showed her our phones too. She said "how do I know that you're not lying about the email?" Anyways, we got refunded on our tickets but the reason we were going was for a game the next day (Aug 5). Those tickets are nonrefunable and Spirit Airlines is responsible for that because this was caused by them. We also rented a car for the days we were going to be there, which I also think they're responsible for. The game tickets were $65 each and it was 4 of us. The car rental was $97. All that money went down the drain because Spirit Airlines cancelled all of their flights. I emailed the car rental place and we couldn't get refunded and the guy said that it's the airlines fault for cancelling the flight and they should pay for everything. I will definitely not recommend this airline to anyone. Moral of the story, SPIRIT AIRLINES IS RESPONSIBLE FOR EVERYTHING! Soon, this Airline will be out of business. Only once the plane pushed off did the other two come back 30+ min later thinking others would be gone. They hit in the Jetway. Make matters worse went to customer service for help and waited 1.5 hours between both lines to see a supervisor. One rep even confirmed my question of "what do they just hide back there and let you guys be the bad guys" with a pretty much yes that's it. One finally comes and tells us no accommodations. I guarantee they filled out seats and did not know how to undo. I would pay double to never fly with them again. Ruined what was a great week by having two preteen kids subjected to sleeping in a run down airport."
