Pros: "I've never had such efficient boarding - I wish we could have taken off early! I loooove that there is finally a direct flight from Seattle to Pittsburgh, which I travel between at least twice a year. I will likely continue to use Alaska Airlines for this service from now on."

Pros: "This was first Alaska airlines trip and I want to do more! I showed up at the Seattle airport and tried to use one of the many conveniently placed kiosks. I couldn't find my trip, BECAUSE I HAD BOOKED FOR THE WRONG DAY!. This could have been very stressful but an attendant near the (short) line asked me if needed help and immediately redirected me to the VIP line. There, I found another very short line, and smiling, enthusiastic staff. The young woman who helped me got my info, and walked away to get the problem solved with a supervisor. She returned a short time later, my boarding pass in hand, upgraded me to Premium seating and TSA pre check -- without me even asking! On the plane, I mostly slept, but when I woke up I found the attendant had left me my boxes snack which was a mix of nuts and dried fruit in a fancy package. The seats seemed more comfortable than they were in recent trips on United and Southwest. There were plugs everywhere for phone and device charging. There was free wifi(!!). And there were devices available for borrowing. There was even a website for free movie streaming. In a time when most other airlines have sour faced (need to retire!) attendants (Southwest an exception), and EVERYTHING is a la Carte pricing, it is so nice to fly with a company that tries to make passengers happy and comfortable. What a switch!! You"

Pros: "Flew premium economy/delta comfort + and was a great flying experience. A taste of business without the $3000+ ticket price. Food was excellent, a huge step above economy. Extra comfort with wider seats. And priority boarding as well. This was more like premium economy that you get with European airlines. For long haul flights, well worth the cost. Flight was delayed 2 hours, but Delta had their own special route in Shanghai airport to bypass a lot of the crowds either transferring or checking in for fight. I wouldn’t have made my connecting flight if they hadn’t. Plus my checked bags went straight thru to my final destination in china,n instead of having to pick up and re-check them in Shanghai."

Delta was also exceptional in helping us retrieve our luggage after AeroMexico lost it."

I got on the plane, put my carryon under the seat in front of me and everything was great. I landed in Chicago, got to my gate, went to board and this very rude employee stopped me after I scanned my ticket and told me I couldn’t board with my bag. The EXACT bag I had boarded with in SLC. After harshly grabbing my bag and putting it in the carryon basket to check for size, she wouldn’t let me pass by her into the boarding bridge and told me I was going to have to pay. I tried explaining that I had asked I’m SLC if I needed to check it and they had all said no and that it fit under my seat. She said, “I don’t care what they said in SL, this is what I’m saying here.” And directed me to the front desk where I had to pay $50!! $50 for a carryon backpack that fit under my seat comfortably 20 minutes before!! Without saying a word (cause I didn’t want to yell at the poor girl behind the desk) I paid the $50 and proceeded to enter the bridge but before I passed through, the rude woman said, “have a nice flight ma’am” and scoffed!! An audible scoff. So I’m short, I hate American Airlines and I will do my BEST to not have to fly with them in the future."

As a result, while l stayed at a hotel only 30 miles from the airport, my bag wasn’t delivered until 2:00 am on Tues, more than 8 hours after l got there. And their website for supposedly checking on lost luggage, aa.com/bag status, is next to useless. It gives no useful information. Use the 800 # but state you want to talk with a human when answering the questions in their phone tree. I’ve had other experiences on AA over the last few years that lead me to question their commitment to customer service. I’ll be avoiding American Airlines as a travel option where other alternatives are available."

When I went to get on the return flight I had a small sling purse, a small yarn bag (both hung on the same arm) and a bag of food for the lunch they wouldn't serve me. I was told I couldn't get on the flight with 3 bags, even though all 3 would fit under the seat. The free entertainment contained a grey box over part of the image reminding I could pay for more. Was only given a tiny glass of soda, I remember when they would give a can. I will consider another airline in the future."

I felt bad for the middle seat section because there was no room at all. I had an aisle seat and still didn't have enough room the stretch. There was no food or snacks served but the crew did offer free drinks: oj, tea, water, or soda. if you can upgrade to economy plus it's definitely worth it. Spend the money for it. You will have more leg room for sure."

I can understand the theory behind the grouping, but, by time it was my time to board, since I was in group 5, all the overhead luggage bins was filled up. Also, I am a big man that buy my tickets months in advance and choose my seating wisely, months in advance. Just to give it up to a family sitting next to me that wants to sit together. That was my choice in the matter though."
Pros: "The flight attendants were above and beyond. Both of them were very friendly and engaging. If all employees were on the same level as these two flight attendants everybody would enjoy their flying experience better. They are the type of employees that bring customers back."

Cons: "I fly United about once a month, and more often than I'd like to admit, your flight attendants are sour and unfriendly. This flight, however, the flight attendant was pretty unacceptable. I had a guest with me this time, and unfortunately, she got sick at the end of the flight. This is to no fault of anyone - it happens. However, because it was during landing, she couldn't get out of her seat and had to stay there until not just after the flight landed, but after taxing, etc, holding her own vomit and waiting to be allowed to get up. After this already embarrassing experience, she asked if she could use the lavatory. The flight attendant was rude to her and said no, but after my friend explained what had happened (she was holding a bag of vomit - it should've been obvious) the attendant acted as if she was the biggest inconvenience, rolled her eyes, and stormed out of the way like a toddler throwing a tantrum. Most of my flights, even with less than friendly flight attendants are good. I understand these men and women have VERY long days and deal with frustrating, self-entitled, easily offended patrons on a regular basis - I watch it happen all the time. I work in the service industry and fully sympathize with how hard the public can be. However, belittling someone who is sick and embarrassed feel like that attendant did, is truly unacceptable. This girl did not smart her off, ask anything out of line, or even behave in an offensive way. She was just simply sick and needed help."

Cons: "The flight was delayed hours before the flight, then again, then the second delay was revoked. The flight was from Seattle to DC to Philadelphia, and the layover in DC was too short. A delay that was at first 10-15 minutes, then changed 4 or 5 times until it ended up being a 30 minute delay caused me to miss my next flight because I only had a 50 minute layover in DC. No one could tell us why the flight was delayed in the first place, then I got off my plane, and was told that I had already missed my flight, and given a voucher for a hotel room, and it turned out that the second flight was delayed as well. Then I had to wait an hour for my bag to make it from the plane to baggage claim because they did not put it on the conveyor with the rest of the passengers' luggage, even though I specifiaclly asked them to do so when I got off the plane and got my hotel voucher."

Staff was unfriendly checking my bag in (I had to pay $82 for ONE checked bag), boarding the plane was a complete unorganized mess, the flight was bumpy and uncomfortable, the beverage I asked for on the flight was out of stock, the landing was horrific. By far, worst 2 hours on a plane I've ever experienced."

May I suggest that future passengers don't check luggage in more than 2-1/2 hours in advance. I suspect that they may not yet have a cart to accumulate luggage for your flight."

They offered no assistance. I needed to be at my destination the next day for a wedding, so I had to purchase an additional ticket out of pocket from Southwest (staff was very helpful). I recommend removing Spirit Airlines from Kayak."

I will never recommend Spirit or travel with them again."

There was ONE person (division manager?) who went above and beyond and apologized for the less than professional behavior of his colleagues, comped us meal vouchers and assisted us in searching for flights on other airlines - while he didn't have the capabilities to actually book the flights himself, he still aided in helping us find ones which was very much appreciated."

Their customer service was TERRIBLE. One of the girls was snapping back at customers. I understand that customers can be rude and downright mean especially in situations like this, however the employees job should be to attempt to diffuse the anger, not add to it. Not only was this a reoccurring situation with one of the employees, but the second employee LEFT - just walked away from a line of 50+ People with no explanation to anyone and never came back? Which only added to everyone's frustration. How she handled that was outright ridiculous. I assume she has another place to be, but to walk away with zero explanation is unacceptable."
