Cons: "My sister’s checked in luggage was in poor shape when we got it in Albany. We noticed an outside compartment was unzipped. So we checked to see if anything was missing and a souvenir from Mexico was gone. Then we realized a zipper was missing from the luggage and then decided to check all the other compartments and realized her bag of jewelry was gone. The woman at baggage services in Albany told us Delta is not responsible for lost belongings. Also tried to tell us theft is not an issue because there are cameras everywhere. Well you are telling someone that is missing a bag of jewelry that theft is not a problem. Also, there may be cameras everywhere but I doubt anyone is going to review those cameras to see what happened. I will never fly Delta again."

Cons: "I travel this route (ATL - MGM) often and it seems like half the time I use Delta there is an issue with the plane including times when the flight has been cancelled. This time the plane left the gate and some fifteen minutes after sitting on the tarmac was taken back to the gate. The issue was said to be an element that keeps a sensor from freezing in extreme cold weather. The less than one hour flight took two hours to complete. This should have been dealt with as a maintenance issue but Delta doesn't seem to think so. The planes on this route make Delta a LOT of money as it is one of the most profitable routes in the US. You would think Delta could invest in keeping better maintained planes on the route."
Cons: "we began the boarding process late, which can be understandable, although the plane was there pretty early. Once the boarding began, someone, I presume the gate agent, essentially gave a countdown to hhow many minutes were left until the flight could have an "on time departure". I travel nearly every week so I value being on time. However, a minute by minute call to hurry up on a flight that was sold out was over the top. There was mumbling among the passengers, to the point of someone joking "Free cookies and water if we make it on time?" Just a bad gate experience, but bad enough that peopoe were commenting, and I waited for someone from the cockpit to del\part so I could mention it to them."

Cons: "The air-conditioning was extremely cold; on the positive side, I was given a blanket. The plane did not have any kind of tv screen in which to watch films or programs. Space was unbelievably tight between seats and rows; I cannot imagine a horizontally or vertically big person having any level of comfort. In general, the service was quite poor, making me wonder how does Delta treat the flight attendants, for they seemed tired and careless. The above did not happen in any of my other flights: Atlanta-Guadalajara, Guadalajara-CDMX, CDMX-Atlanta."

Cons: "Wouldn’t let us take our carry-on because they had overbooked and had no more room in overhead. Delayed our first flight and then our connecting flight left *early*. (If you know you have customers with short connections, why leave early to make their connections even shorter?) Then told us they would not pay for our hotel since it wasn’t their fault. Gave us a “discount” with a nearby hotel that was more expensive than what you could book it for online. Had to wait several hours for them to get us back the carry-on luggage that they insisted we check in the first place."

Cons: "My flight was cancelled and I had anxiety about being at my destinations on time because I had to travel another hour away without knowing if my ride would be able to wait for me. However, I was booked on another plane that wasn't damaged which got me there on time,but once I arrived my luggage was no where to be found. I was promised my luggage on the same day,but I didn't get it until 11:30pm that night from a 2:40pm flight. I had to go out and spend money on toiletries,night wear and my medicine because of not having my luggage. Just totally disgusted by the overall experience and wouldn't wish it on anyone."

Cons: "I could see on the Fly Delta app that I had been placed in seat 10B, but neither the app nor my boarding pass gave me a group to board with, so I assumed that I needed to board with group 3, which necessitated gate-checking my rollerboard bag. Only when I approached the gate to board did I notice on the info screen that I had been "upgraded" to Comfort + and granted boarding with the Sky Priority group. I wish this had been clearer so I could have avoided waiting to board and gate-checking my bag. Minor inconvenience but room for improvement on Delta's part."
Pros: "The crew went out of their way to make sure they got the plane ready as quickly as possible and get us to Jacksonville as quickly as possible."
Cons: "Delta lost the plane for over an hour. After already spending 10 hours in ATL because of an earlier delay due to human error I was extremely disappointed in Delta that my flight out of Atlanta was delayed by an hour because they LOST the plane and couldn’t find it or the truck to bring it to the gate. This kind of error on Xmas eve is embarrassing. Delta didn’t do anything for the passengers affected by this. I was dumbstruck by the apathy of the Delta employees at the gate (the exception was the flight crew, who tried to get the aircraft there earlier). Because Delta did nothing but make error after error I arrived at home 11 hours later than my original flight was booked for on Christmas Eve, missing Christmas Eve Services and family traditions. When I need to get somewhere on time I’ll never rely on Delta after this experience."

I was told a confirmation of a new flight was going to be email once the request from the support had been approved (the email confirmation was never received). I was also instructed multiple times to not show at the airport unless I had receive the confirmation. I was up most of the night waiting for this confirmation that never came!! I received an email this morning letting me know the fight from ALT to Mexico had been delay!! When I opened it to view the itinerary it showed she had been booked for the am fight at 6:30 am! after spending another hour and 35 minutes on the phone your support team could not find a fight until Dec.21!! Not to mention the accepted they had problems with their email system and phones, but asked why didn't I called,mmm I was on the phone for the 3rd time!!!! I am very, very disappointed!! Not a discount was offer or a fight the next day even when I was checking an flights were available!!! Here is the other part,,Rosa came all the way from Mexico to care for her ill sister for the last 2 1/2 months, all she asked was to be able to be back home for the holidays!! Your team insisted on scheduling a flight for next week or a full refund!! This was not a money matter!! It's about getting some one home for the Holidays who has helped a ill person during the most vulnerable time in her life!!"

Pros: "The Delta people were solicitous, efficient and brilliant the whole way through. We had not a bit of trouble. Our first class seats were comfortable, but with the supplied blanket, pillow and poor air conditioning it was a hot flight. The cabin personnel were wonderful as per usual, and my tasty gin and tonic soothed any discontent. I wish I could fly this way all the time!"
Cons: "The private contractor handling wheelchair assistance was terrible. A Delta employee theorized that they do not pay enough to attract and retain personnel. Our pre-arranged chair was not there, multiple calls by our Delta assistant finally got us a ride to the chair holding area, but after about 45 minutes we gave up and shuffled off to the security area on foot. Thank goodness my hubby is mobile enough for that to have been an option. When we abandoned our wait we were still 4th in line for an attendant to push the chair. If Delta has any responsibility in this it would be in the retention and compensation for the private contractor."

I informed them that the website indicated it would waive baggage fees to certain destinations if checked in at the airport before a certain date. Another Delta agent nearby had to show them a copy of the policy before I could get my baggage fees waived."

Cons: "Plane was supposed to depart at 9:09pm. An announcement was made that in Atlanta which is Delta hub, there were no flight attendants for the flight so we had to wait for another crew to fly in. That's just unporfessiknal. To make matters worse, the gate agents didn't make announcements even if just to say we know this isn't good and we will update you asap even if just to tell you we are still waiting on word. Total silence and seeing the gate agents laugh and talk amongst each other was pretty bad."

Cons: "Seated in the rear middle seat. I had no options to select a seat when I checked in or made my reservation that wasn't an extra charge. I'mover 6' tall and middle seats are painful, especially cross country. Airlines need to be a little more attentive to their customers' needs. If a passenger is taller than average, and the flight is more than 60 minutes, provide comfortable seating at no extra charge. If a customer has a short layover, which their system knows about since it is the sourve of the flight plans, put the customer toward the front of the aircraft since these flights are habitually late and customers end up having to sprint through airports to try to make connections."

Cons: "9 hour flight and no food(meal) until 1 hour before we land. The worst food I've had on a international flight."
Cons: "Everything that could have gone wrong with my flights, went wrong. On my way from LA to Raleigh (through Atlanta), I was affected by the weather conditions at Atlanta. I understand that the weather is beyond Delta's scope of control, but customer service is not. I had to wait in line at LAX for 8 hours to even get information on what had happened, and what solutions were available. The customer service call center was collapsed, and at the airport counters at one point there was ONLY ONE DELTA REPRESENTATIVE serving a line of more than 100 upset customers. This IS Delta's fault, and it is unacceptable. This definitely was under Delta's control, but in order to save a few dollars in overtime for emergency staff Delta was willing to let its customers make terribly long lines, miss their flights, their connections and consequently their commitments. It is disappointing to observe how Delta believes that a few dollars saved on extra staff and emergency measures can offset the irreparable long term damage to its business due to upset customers. My way back from Raleigh to Los Angeles was also a disaster. Without any type of explanation and nothing more than an email announcing the change, the nonstop flight I bought was replaced by a 1-stop flight with connection in Atlanta. This was NOT THE PRODUCT I PURCHASED. There is a reason I paid a premium for a nonstop flight, and Delta did not hesitate in providing me with a less valuable product without any explanation or refund. Delta prioritizes its operational metrics - an obsession to fill and overbook its capacity - over its customers' experience, one again under the foolish belief that short term savings in any way offset the long term damage of disappointed and alienated customers. I will NEVER FLY DELTA AGAIN. I will do whatever I can to transmit my experience to everyone I know. At a time where major airline carriers are in the spotlight due to abusive practices (i.e. the United passenger case), I still find hope in knowing that alternatives such as Southwest still put their customers first, over the ethereal benefits that a few-dollar savings in operational expenses can provide."

Cons: "Sat in Delta Comfort and a loyal Delta flier, except had the bad fortune of taking off at 830 ATL time and apparently Delta doesn't find it important or a good idea to sell food after that time. The logic behind this is beyond me. I'm willing to pay $9 for a few cheese slice and crackers or a sandwich yet they don't offer anything, not even to first class which would really irritate me had I paid 1000 bucks. Ontop of that the crew which is normally excellent, was feisty and rude and wanted nothing to do with their job"

Cons: "This was the fourth first class leg of our overall trip and the first three flights on Delta were great. The attendants were pleasant and even fun. I have allergies and requested a special meal on all legs. No problem on the first three flights. All attendants approached me to confirm my allergy and the special meal. They were very polite. But on this flight, the attendant didn't speak with me about it at all. She tried to give me the regular meal. When I explained I needed an allergy free meal (mind you this was first class), I was told I could not get it and got no apology or other accommodation. Her attitude was take it or leave it. I found this interesting since on two of the other flights an announcement was made about another passenger with an allergy to peanuts so no one could have them on the flights and the attendants were very concerned."

Cons: "I did not like the way the plane was boarded- people could not get into their seats because others blocked the aisles - so chaotic. Passengers were not being rude to one another, it was simply that the process is poor. Could the zones instead reflect both location of seat and area of plane, so that those with window seats at the back board first, then middle seats, then aisle? That way if aisle seats fill first, seated people are not stepping back into the aisle to accommodate others needing to get a seat in that row, while everyone on the gang way must wait for the aisle to clear."

Cons: "I had a reserved Comfort Class Aisle seat, purchased at time of reservation and showing as my assigned seat through printing of boarding pass. At the gate, my seat was reassigned to a middle seat. This is a huge problem for me, as my back and leg injuries require the ability to stretch and move frequently. When complaining on Delta phone lines, I was told that the seat was needed for a Diamond member and therefore was "policy" to bump. Although I eventually received some compensation for the fact I paid more for the original seat, I remain very disappointed in Delta, if this is indeed the policy."
Pros: "On the flight I got on the 8:20 to Reagan the flight attendances were wonderful! Defiantly made up for me having a aweful time on the 7:20 flight. I loved your flight attendants on this flight!"
Cons: "So I arrived in Atl was on standby for the 7:20 flight to Dca airport I had already paid $50 for standby! I got cleared for this flight and bumped to delta comfort. I was super excited to finally get upgraded! Then the plane had problems we were then again delayed and had to deplane. We were told this would be a 2 hour delay. I proceeded to try an get on the next flight at 8:20 while asking about a window seat the lady told me I would have to pay an additional $19! Well I had already paid $50. So the nice lady put me on that flight after I had already asked for window seat. She put me in the middle seat! I get that planes have problems and flights are delayed! There was so much bad yesterday then good and I feel like delta should know. It's more and more bad everytime I fly! Please fix these problems!"

Gate staff lied about the status of the plane, updating the boarding time to 10 minutes and then announcing that the plane was still in the hangar. Passengers would have been much happier to hear the truth of a 2h delay so that we could get food/drink. Instead we had 2h worth of promises that the plane was leaving in 10 mins. No effort was made at being nice--no free snacks or whatever would be nice to make people feel cared for. But what's worse was the flight attendants. I don't even feel like getting into it--just suffice to say these are people who should not be working in the service industry. I saw them being rude to a number of people and it made an already bad experience (with the 2h delay) that much worse. It's not that hard to be polite to people. AA should do more to hire caring, kind staff who create happy vibes even through stressful times."

Cons: "We flew from Rome to JFK and arrived at 12:40 pm only to find out that our 3:30 pm flight had been cancelled a long time ago. No one had notified us of our new booking on a 9:10 flight to Boston. No one at American or British Airways could provide us with an earlier departure or compensate us to take alternative transportation. Our 9:10 flight was then delayed until 10:50 pm. We arrived in Boston at 12:02 am, 11 1/2 hours after our arrival at JFK from Rome. This was not a very friendly welcome home. We never would have booked such an extended delay as we only live 4 hours from New York City."

Cons: "The plane itself was clearly an older model, lacking many amenities I’ve come to expect flying coach. The overhead compartments were too small for larger carryon luggage, and no one on the crew alerted passengers to this. Thus, many passengers had to go against the traffic of those still boarding to find space for luggage. My seat was at the back of the plane so I had to spend close to 15 extra minutes walking back to the front against boarding passengers to find a place to put my luggage. A simple warning from the crew when I boarded would have prevented mine and many others unnecessary trouble simply boarding. During a very turbulent flight, the captain nor the crew made any announcements about turbulence, our safety, or our progress. Also during the flight, one of the flight attendants got into an awkward verbal spat with one of the passengers. Completely unprofessional and bothersome. Additionally, I had fallen asleep when dinner was being first served, but woke up before it was finished. A flight attendant approached me and asked if I’d like a dinner to which I replied “Yes”. The flight attendant never returned with a dinner for me, thus I did not eat the dinner, which I had paid for. Lastly, and perhaps most disturbing, was what transpired when a passenger had a medical emergency. With no warning, all of the airplane lights turned on and a loud “CODE RED” was announced over the sound system. Imagine being a sleeping passenger like myself, during a very turbulent flight, to be suddenly awoken to bright lights and a CODE RED shouted loudly over the PA. I’m not overexaggerating when I say that I was preparing for the worst. A truly terrifying moment that I am certain was shared with many others on board. To make matters even worse, as a flight attendant rushed to find a first aid kit (which she had trouble finding) she opened up the compartment over my partners seat and dropped a passengers ipad on her head. The flight attendant did return to apologize, but it was little consolation compared to the stress and panic the crew created. I have flown many times, and this was easily the worst flight of my life. American Airlines should be ashamed of the conditions they put their passengers in and they have lost two customers for good."

Cons: "I went to check in with Iberia airlines as the flight information said. Desk was closed. Went to American airlines as suggested by airport staff, which was correct. Completely different terminal,we were lucky we had 3 hours between connections, the whole process took over an hour. Very confusing. The plane was American Airlines, Iberia was not mentioned anywhere else,very confusing. Dinner was served within an hour of taking off at 11pm, which we didnt have, but then nothing until an hour before landing and very hurried. Staff had been very busy chatting in the galley. No snacks available. Had a group of rowdy and rude passengers near us, not alcohol related. I think staff shoud have had a word with them, it looked like they didnt want to know, another passenger finaly did after 5 patient hours. Arrived in London, our bags did not. Staff were good. They found the error straight away. They delivered them to our home the next day which was a very good service."

Cons: "I've had flights canceled before, but clearly American Airlines/ JFK is not equipped to manage. American Airlines online hung up on me after 24 minutes of being on hold. I waited in line for 2 hours to get on another flight home and the attendant first suggested to fly me to Charlotte then Cleveland where I would arrive a day late after I'd been traveling with my elderly parents for 24 hours. Additionally, once we changed flights and had to go to Newark, it took an hour to print (yes, print) our new itineraries for United and then when the cab should have arrived immediately, we waited 45 minutes. I was displeased."

Cons: "I bought travel insurance as I do with any trip. I have a complicated family emergency that forced me to call off the trip. Being that I bought trip insurance, I felt good. Well turns out they make you jump through so many hoops that your travel insurance fee is useless. I sent a letter to Allianz (the company that handles the travel insurance) and blasted them for their insensitivity in a difficult time. Going forward, I will not be purchasing travel insurance in the future. It may sound irrational but if you think about it, travel insurance is the tax on gullible people. You hear travel insurance and one assumes that if you spend the extra money on the insurance and something comes up, you can at least get much of your money back. Don't count on it! It's a 1/1000 chance they will do the right thing so the odds are not in people's favor. If you want to be smart, use the money you would have spent on travel insurance on some pre flight cocktails at the airport bar. Air travel is hellish enough without scams like Allianz!"

I have missed my itinerary and cruise trip with family members. Now I have to wait 2 days to catch a cruise and reunite with my family in Italy. It's not fear that the airline don't take consideration for this kind of situation. We understand that Things happens and the airline takes precautions to make sure everything is okay before take off. However, I'm very frustrated and disappointed."

Cons: "my first flight was delayed by 4 hours so I automatically missed my connection. i called american to reschedule my flight for the next day in order to spend the night at my house and not have ro ask for hotel, they said no problem. when I go to she counter to explain they said that they would put me on a later flight and that they where sure I would make it. when I arrived miami I had missed my connection and they did NOT cover the hotel expenses they rebooked me for the next day at 5pm. no food no hotel no nothing. the next day I arrived at the airport counter the people at the american airline's counter did not want to let me thorugh because I had a one way ticket... after explaining for over 25 minutes they let me go.... the miami gloght to Bermuda then was also delayed for a total of 2 hours and they changed gates 8 times from one end to thw other and so on.... the worst service ever........"

All this with our exhausted 4-year olds. Ended with us leaving the airport at 3 am. I truly never wish to fly American Airlines again."

I bought tickets on Kayak through Justfly.com for a Finnair flight and added an American Airlines (affiliate) frequent flyer number.and reserved my seats early.as I usually do and everything was confirmed by Justfly.com. No problems, right? I did not receive a check in notification. I used the Finnair trip number on my email but it said there was no flight found. I could not initially get hold of Just fly.com. when I did, they said I had to check in through American Airlines. That didn't work initially either. After getting a new trip number I was able to check in but our seats were changed and it was a red eye. When trying to get seats I noticed there are very few seats left. The seats I had selected were now open and would coat another $120 plus. I couldn't even get those. We wound up with some exit seats which seemed fine until my wife couldn't recline her seat. It was uncomfortable for both of us because she had to use my legs to prop hers onto. Im still on vacation so I haven't contacted American for a refund yet."
Pros: "It was fine. I don't really like to fly because I tend to get queasy. The pilot missed all of the pot holes. There were not any crying children or loud talkers. Bonus! If I could have propped up my legs on the seat back in front of me it would have been perfect!"

Cons: "Departing flight was delayed over eleven hours because a flight attendant was ill. They actually had to fly in a flight attendant all the way from Texas to cover this Seattle to JFK flight! So our flight departed a whole day later and we missed a day of our vacation (we arrived at 7pm instead of 7am). I understand things happen but this was not weather related or a mechanical issue. This is simply poor personnel management. They should have a back-up plan if an employee falls ill. One that doesn't involve flying in an employee from another region of the country, let alone another state. The inefficiency continued on the return flight when it took a whole hour for the luggage to come out! Will avoid flying American again at any cost."
Cons: "The plane took off much later than it was supposed to, so we were already behind. Once we got onto the runway, the plane turned around and went back for three people who had missed the flight. I suppose if I had barely missed the flight, I would want the plane to turn around. However, those three people held up a plane that was completely full and had standby passengers. Through the entire flight, there was an issue with the seating and there was a man standing up at the front because he had nowhere to sit. It was one of the most bizarre flights I've ever taken... and I fly about 15-20 times a year."

Cons: "We were assigned a Boeing 767. The seats were barely comfortable, even though I paid $129 to get "up to 6" more legroom" and snagged a bulkhead seat. (Is it me or do you want to start a revolution when you are just on the other side of the curtain where those on the other side are being served champagne, have large tv screens and fully reclining sleeper beds?). The food mediocre/unremarkable but heh, it's an airplane , the crew ok but uniforms dated and drab. The real letdown was the entertainment system. Or I shoudld say lack thereof. I was psyched that the seat was designated as having a charger. Yeah, if I'm carrying my car charger with me! Yikes!!! So, strike one. Then, NO ON DEMAND service of any kind, since this plane is not equipped with wifi, which would have given us the ability to watch on an iPad or other device. Strike two. And THEN, when you think, no this can't get worse, there are a strong of three 2ND RATE movies shown back to back. No choice, no watch when you want, in other words, no ON DEMAND. Oh, and did I mention the really really REALLY old pull-out remote control with a credit card phone on the flip side? STRIKE THREE! This was a Finnair booking through Kayak, but on an American Airlines code share. The gate at JFK was changed no less than 4 times, the final time, one hour before departure, from Gate 14 to Gate 45. Good thing I had left myself plenty of extra time! The check-in process at Finnair counter no less than a nightmare. Stood in line for 30 minutes, then told we had to go to "Line 1" and use one of the kiosks to print our boarding passes (we checked in online but were not given phone-board passes) and check our bags. This area was nothing short of pandemonium with agents yelling at us to form straight lines. Many of the kiosks were not working not working and there were not enough agents to help the throngs."

Cons: "My flight was scheduled hours before I was scheduled. I checked in very early because I was coming in from another flight. At check-in the flight was still indicated as on-time. When I arrived shortly to the gate it indicated that the flight had been cancelled. I was assigned to the flight before which was delayed. We were not served beverages because we were told that the ride www short. I observed the flight attendant talking abruptly to other passengers When we arrived in DC, we were told that another plane was parked at our gate. We sat on the runway for almost an hour. I was told when I arrived that my bag had been accidently sent to Charlotte. Unbelievable!!"

Pros: "I had a great flights both to and from Las Vegas. The crews on both flights were really great. This was the first time I ever flown on Spirit Airlines. Both flights arrived ahead of schedule. I loved the pre-flight briefings that the crew gave. Although it is a "serious subject" they also injected some "humor" that had everyone laughing. I will not hesitate to fly on Spirit Airlines again."

I got to the airport and they made me buy a prepaid visa card AT the station by spirit airlines, only good at their store because I only had a little cash on me, and not enough on the card that I did have. They do not accept cash, WHICH IS CRAZY TO ME BECAUSE THAT IS LEGAL TENDER..... So I buy this thing, because they told me I had to pay for my bag since I couldn't consolidate my PURSE into my mini travel bag it would be considered two and that was the rules... so an EXTRA $50 there and $50 on my return flight.... they got me for an extra $100. WHO are the people taking no bag flights? Whatever, anyways it was a less than desirable experience. The plane smelled like a used toilet and the flight attendants were rude. They don't seem happy to be doing their job. I was going to celebrate my birthday and this made it a less than desirable experience. I'd only recommend this airline for emergency flying only. They don't even offer beverage, and it's ridic over priced. Hopefully someone will read this and reach out to me. This doesnt' reflect my experience for opinion of Kayak. Always great. But I'll never take spirit again, it is NOT worth the low fair."
Cons: "Spirit Airlines does not care AT ALL. I will never fly them again. No explanation of delay, which then led to a full cancellation, in which they then had us waiting in a line for 20 minutes until they (finally?) ejected us out of the security zone because they put our bags at baggage claim, so I wasn't able to buy a flight at a desk from another airlines right nearby because I had to go back through security so they messed up my timing entirely. I have also not received my refund for my baggage / seat extras and it's been a full week. Horrendous. If I could give them negative ratings I would."
Pros: "If you can get past the size of the seats, and constantly bumping elbows with your neighbor, then it's a great flight. Better yet, just have your family of three take up a whole row, then you are good to go! The staff was great."

Cons: "Our plane was 2.5 hours late to start. The flight was uncomfortable but the company was good. However, since the first plane was late, it meant I would miss my layover & second leg of my trip. When we landed from Texas into LA (at 815pm) the flight attendants told us to speak with the check in people about our new flights. When i went up to the counter, no one was there. A guy in a yellow vest popped up and helped me look to see when my next flight was leaving. He told me that I would have to spend the night in the airport since the next flight wasnt for another 12 hours and since they dont partner with other airlines that I would have to go to Alaska if I wanted a flight home tonight. When I asked about a refund for my ticket he said maybe I would get one for the second leg of the flight. Needless to say, I'm flying home on Alaska and sticking with them until Spirit can figure out a better system. Talking to people next to me on the plane, they all had cancelled flights from Philly and had to spend the night at the airports too."

We were second in line...in the wrong line with only 1 agent checking passengers in...we waited 20 minutes to get helped, because the party in front of us (with 2 in line) actually had a ticket for 6 passengers (4 of whom showed up several minutes later), who had to decide/pay for luggage options ,etc.. If you have 2 lines & 4 agents, 2 agents should be serving each line...enough for me never to fly Spirit again!"

At least they rebooked my flight dornme with another airline the next day, but I missed a presentation because they couldn't find me an earlier flight."
Cons: "We were not told, when we purchased the ticket, that you must pay $55 to carry on a bag! Plus another $15 for the seat! Our first--and last--flight on this "discount" airline! This airline will be out of business soon."
Pros: "Got to the gate 40 minutes before flight and they wouldn't let me board - said I had to check in 45 minutes before and would not have to pay $100 to fly on the next plane 6 hours later. I said no and went to American Airlines - so sick of this company. Gladly pay $100 more to never fly this stupid airline again"
Pros: "No entertainment. Missed flight as I did not hear the gate change. It should have been repeated several times after initial announcement. The women at the new gate excellent were wonderful; I was able to take the next flight out. Two wonderful ladies with Spirit helped me locate my luggage. The Sprint office was closed with no notification if anyone would be returning"

Cons: "Not having curbside check-in. Printing a boarding pass to join the line to speak with an agent to check-in luggage or baggage drop. The price for one piece of checked luggage on Spiritair.com went from $26 a week before the trip,$42 the day before the trip, and then $56 the day of the trip. Not to mention feeling bad for the customers who did not use the kiosk to print their boarding to passes to either have pay the $10 fee at the counter for a boarding pass or go to the Kiosk print out a boarding pass for free then to turnaround and have to rejoin the check-in line all over again if they have to do a baggage drop."

Pros: "The comedian crew member on this flight was absolutely my favorite part of the trip. He was entertaining and incredibly positive thru out the 4.5 hour tarmack stand still. His charisma and wit kept most of the passengers and crew members on point. He was just a happy go lucky guy with a good heart. Kudos to him!"
Cons: "Mother Nature was not kind and the humans closed down the Denver airport, avoiding any threatening interactions. It was most unfavorable being stuck on the tarmack for 4.5 hours, being charged a lot of money for crumby snacks, however I am grateful that I am still alive and did not have a more tramatic plane experience (aka a crash landing accident due to lightning). Over all, it was a pain in the butt, waiting to hear about updates (taking hours at a time to decide), and then getting redirected from Colorado Springs to Denver on a bus. My friend whom was picking me up from the airport was inconvenienced as well, but we tried to be positive about the whole experience. I don't ever want to fly with Spirit again, but because it was so inexpensive, I just rolled with the punches. You get what you pay for..."

The seats did not recline and on top of that there wasn't enough leg room to sit without my knees being in the back of the person in front of me as well as the person behind me kept his knees in my back the whole time. No hint of in flight service and they will charge you for a 49$ carry on bag fee if your bag is even slightly bigger than a backpack. That's a lot considering the flight itself was 49$. I understand that somebody needs to have an airline that operates cheap flights but please still. I regret choosing and dreading my return flight."

Cons: "Requested wheel chair assistance in airport, noted on boarding info that I would need help at both start and end of the flight segments but had to wait for help, you switched gates at the start of the flight and no one looked to provide help to move. No one at destination again after the flight, agaiin I had to wait for help to get to baggage claim, 100% rated disabled veteran, no spirit of help provided from the staff. I informed boarding argent I would need extra time at boarding, time between asking for disabled patrons and phase 1 boarding was 3 seconds, again no help on this issue, plane was late on the turn so it wast just get then in so we can leave the gate."
Cons: "The crew on my first flight were very accommodating and friendly, but on my second flight they were NOT so friendly and everyone around me was talking about how rude and unfriendly they were. This was my first time flying on Spirit and I asked for a pillow and the response I received from the Flight Attendant was "What!....we don't have pillows" Another reason I was unhappy was because on my connecting flight from Texas to Chicago we were delayed on the plane and NOBODY told us what the problem was and why we were not moving to the runway. After 42 minutes we were told "we are waiting for paperwork from Maintenance" that is it! Not how long they expect the wait to be or come around and offer us some drinks or snacks. The Flight Attendants DID NOT even walk the aisle....not even once! We finally took off after 75 minute delay. It was if we were on the plane alone...this is not how I would have handled the situation. I also obtained the Spirit credit card to rack up some miles, but not I am giving it a second thought!"

The fact that he flew that plane like it was made of paper was an added bonus. His landing was the smoothest I have ever witnessed and I flight a lot. It was like landing a marshmallow on a bed of cotton balls. It was smooth. I am not making this up. I will try to use Spirit every time I fly. The stewardesses (I guess they are still called that) were very friendly as well. Overall, a wonderful group of people."

Cons: "I don't like being nickel-and-dimed to death the way Spirit does, I'm not really sure why the flight attendants were even on board, as they were clearly not happy to be there, the seats were terribly uncomfortable- no lumbar support at all, and the head sticks out farther than the rest of the seat so you're forced to sit with your neck at a funny angle, resulting in a sore neck for your trip. I ONLY use Spirit when I can't possibly afford anything else, as I have never had a pleasant experience with them, and I will never recommend them to someone else."

Pros: "The man at the counter was nice enough to upgrade my seat after seeing I was military and had to pay an insane amount for my baggage."
Cons: "I am NOT saying that the military deserves hand outs. We don't, we just do our jobs. I do however feel that the baggage fees were ridiculous. I have never flown with an airline that charges for the overhead bin.The money you "save" on a plane ticket is all added back on with the baggage fees The crew did not appear to be enjoying their flight, which during holidays can be stressful and I understand that, but this is their job. My flight to Texas was absolutely awful, I had children yelling obnoxiously behind me and even the stewardesses noticed, but they didn't say anything even after witnessing the child kicking the back of my seat repeatedly. One of the bathrooms was also out so there was a line of people down the isle. I personally did not like knowing that a bathroom was out of order because it made me wonder, what else was wrong with the plane? I will NOT ever be flying with spirit again."
Pros: "The flight was normal, on time, no complaints. But the price was colossal. I did not realize how good it was until I had to change the flight from Sunday to Friday. They charged me $7 less than the whole Kayak price. And that was for a one way ticket! I had no choice but to pay it. Later on I realized I should have contacted Kayak and the change fees would have been more reasonable. Anyway, bottom line, Kayak Price Was SUPEr great!"

Cons: "This is the only airline I know that charges for a carry on bag. They make it seem as though you're saving money by making their flights cheap, but there are additional charges along the way. I don't understand why they charge for a carry on bag, it's not like there's limited space on the overhead. It's enough to for each passenger to bring one carry on. Overall I spent the same amount of money I would if I were to have purchased a better, comfortable airline that doesn't charge for a carry on. The carry on luggage was $100. Had I known they were going to charge me for that I would have just checked in my carry on luggage. Aside from the carry on situation, the ride was very uncomfortable, seats were way too close, their tickets should be a lot cheaper for what they provide. I am very upset with my experience with Spirit. I will not be going back to this airline."
Pros: "They cancelled the flight, refunded our money but did nothing to assist in getting us to our destination and I had to pay an additional $200 on another airlines."

Pros: "I thought that the rate is paid was great cause the leg from Dallas to Phoenix is a regular route. I only usually paid about $15.00 more. But my surprise came when I was ready to board. My carry on was a regular sized back pack that weighed 9lbs , Because it was 4inches taller than the carry on sizing box I had to pay $55.00 in order to board my flight. Now keep in mind I only $69.00 dollars for the flight it self. The ticket agent was rude and threatened to charge me $100.00. I would never fly this airline ever again, and I will spread the horrible experience"
Cons: "Many people who were waiting to board other flights shared my feelings of being dooped by this airlines strategy. If you have to wait and charge people ridiculous prices at the boarded point I feel that is being dishonest. I would rather be told all of the fees upfront without surprises at the end."
