Pros: "The flight was nearly full, but I lucked out. One person in my row did not show up, so myself and the other lady in my row had the benefit of having an open seat in between us. The crew was cheerful and accommodating. They did the normal beverage service, but also brought complimentary water and coffee 3x during the rest of the flight. This was greatly appreciated, especially after 5 days of drinking and partying. My buddies and I spent two and a half days in Las Vegas for a bachelor party followed by two days in the LA area for a wedding (yes we did it Hangover style) :) Thank you Delta!"
Cons: "My only complaint was that the flight was delayed out of LAX by about 30 minutes due to the flight in-bound being delayed. However, the captain made up most of this time in the air so it ended up being a non-issue."

I got to the airport in Denver at 5:30 am for a 7:30 am flight to Atlanta, and the line to check a bag was about 40 people long. I waited 55minutes to check my bag, as they kept moving the ski priority people, and people in danger of missing their flight, to the head of the line. There were obviously not enough Delta workers on staff to process all the flights at that time."

Pros: "The cabin crew serving the main cabin were exceptional. They were efficient, kind and FUN. We were an hour late leaving and 2/3 of the plane was worried about tight connections. They handled it with grace giving each person their departing gate and asking everyone to let a gentleman off with a 10 minute connection. They made the flight memorably enjoyable."
Cons: "Being an hour late isn't ideal and I understand that it wasn't their fault (the plane was late arriving into Denver. Those things happen. They still goto people to Detroit in time to make connections--barely."

I couldn't put both feet under the seat in front of me. The food was bad tasting and overly processed. We were fed a lean cuisine. The entertainment was from mounted tv's in the aisle. At this point, all planes crossing the ocean should have individual tvs for a customer to watch. They had this 15 years ago, how do they not have it now."

Cons: "Due to two flight delays, I traveled an additional 24 hours, on top of my 20 hour original flight. Albuquerque Airline staff were rude, dismissive, incompetent, and each individual I spoke with gave me wildly differing information. The two delays (leading to approximately 48 hours of travel) would have been stressful enough, but the callous, ignorant and unprofessional attitudes of American Airlines staff (and staff in general at Chicago O'Hare Airport) really disappointed me. This was even more striking compared with the professional service I received from British Airways (from whom I purchased the tickets). I was ashamed that my country could lag so far behind in terms of basic customer service and problem solving."

I had hoped to finish the movie I started on the first leg."

They probably are comfortable for a 7 year old girl...."

The person at the gate was rude when I said you won't lose my luggage will you? he said Probably. I said really, and he said well you did ask."

We finally got to the baggage counter 4 minutes after the 45 min cutoff and were told that they could not put us on the plane. The cause? SIX check in attendances failed to show up to work in retaliation for Frontier's recent outsourcing of jobs and the fact that their "Discount Den" specials, which have flights out of Denver on Sundays as low as $3.50 were taxing the staff, so they essentially boycotted. All flights back to MCI out of ALL airlines were full so we and our small children had to rent an expensive suburban and drive all night to get to work on Monday after a 12 day vacation. Absolutely the WORST travel experience we have ever had."

That's what an additional $58 gets you. Then the pilot didn't want to fly the plane because the soap dispenser wasn't functional in the forward lavatory. Seriously! We sat on the plane 35 minutes while he waited for an out of order decal for the lavatory door. Dumbest flight crew I ever encountered. I'm going back to United."

Cons: "I did not like that you had to pay $40 to carry on and place above a small piece of luggage. Then had to pay an additional amount to get a seat reservation. This is bait and switch in my view and I will not fly Frontier again."

Air travel is much different than it was in the past and it will never go back to the way it was -- so based on today's standards -- this flight was great. I was surprised that the flight attendants did a commercial offering passengers the opportunity to purchase a Frontier MasterCard on the plane during the flight. Clever selling technique and could have been seen as offensive to some passengers but I didn't mind it."

Pros: "Really nothing was favorable. I will avoid Frontier at all cost now. I travel once per quarter for business and yearly for vacations. There are plenty of other carriers that I can take."
Cons: "Being "nickeled and dimed" and in consistency. I paid for a carry on in Denver and was told that I did not need to pay. So on my return flight I was told I had to pay for a carry on or else I would not be allowed to board. The message as presented by Frontier staff was very hostile and confrontational."

Cons: "We sat on the tarmack for 1.5 hours once we arrived at our destination. I was also surprised at how expensive it was for carry-on and checked luggage. I don't know if I'll fly frontier again."

They nickel and dime for everything, and take poor accountability for their errors."

Cons: "Flight was cancelled due to weather. Not your fault obviously, tried to rebook for an earlier flight before severe weather came in, and it seems you have no red eyes to KC from Denver. Shame. Wasn't able to leave town."

Cons: "Seats hard and uncomfortable. Too crowded. Cost more money to get a reasonable seat. Ridiculous. Seats do not recline. Less room under seat for personal bag Armrest narrow and short. Tray is metal and hopefully no person/child will bump head or have their hot coffee fall ill during turbulence. Speaking of coffee asked but did not receive. Bags???!!! Yes I could wear all my clothes for a five day trip. TSA would be a bear. No fly"

Cons: "they claim to have good air fares just to get you in. once you purchase a ticket they milk you for every possible reason to get as much money as they possibly can. for example if you dont pay for carryon (yes you hear me they charge for carryon) at the time you check in. they will charge you twice as much at the gate ($60 dollars!!!!). their seats are incredibly uncomfortable and do not recline. the guy at the counter wanted to charge me $40 because my bag was one pound overweight. thats enough for me. I am not using frontier ever again."

Cons: "Very disorganized at airport in dealing with multiple delays. Overheard dealings with others stranded; granted some passengers lost their tempers but employees did the same and sometimes worse. I can't believe after a 3+ hour delay that they can not forget about costs of drinks and snacks to give passengers a small break."

Pros: "Exit row seating most comfortable. Paying for everything up front. Perfect. Easy to navigate system from LAX."
Cons: "A Bird. Emotional support animals are taking over most places. I did not like having to travel from LAX to MCI with a squawking bird in a cage. Perhaps those things make everyone else on the flight emotionally fragile. If any of us were to say something, would we be thrown off? It is a delicate balance, but frustrating. Dogs, cats, iguanas, now birds. Never mind the screaming obnoxious kids, and the parents who apparently have given up on life, and expect the flight attendants to mind the children. You should pay your staff more to deal with this stuff."

Cons: "Basically I did not prepare myself with knowledge of how Spirit airlines worked. I was surprised to learn my check in bag would cost more if it weighed more than 40 pounds. Now I know and on the return trip it weighed 40 pounds."

Pros: "The exit seats have more leg room which makes the fight easier to handle. The flight wasn't crowded, so there was plenty of seats. Departure was earlier than expected, which was great. Crew was friendly."

Cons: "I found it really annoying that if a flight was delayed, it could, at any time be un-delayed. I also found it annoying that it seems if you don't check your back very early, you might just be out of luck. I also didn't like that I had to pay for snacks. Snacks can't possibly be making that much of a difference in the overall price of a ticket. I paid $3 for a snack and another $3 for a pop--just include that $6 in my ticket. Oh, and you're charged $10 for printing out a boarding pass."

Cons: "The flight was delayed into LAX due to weather and I missed my connecting flight to MCI. The associates at the gate in LAX said there was nothing they could do and directed me to exit the airport and go to the front ticketing counter. When I approached the counter I was greeted with lackluster focus and no sense of urgency. The ticket agent told me to go wait 'outside' for 45-60 miniutes until a supervisor would return. I let them know this was not acceptable. One agent ignored my situation completely while the Jr agent attempted to assist me by making calls on her personal cell phone. They let me know they could get me home within 24-48 hours, but I would still need to talk to a supervisor. I informed them there were flights on other airlines that day, to which they said they could not help me and to book it myself if I wanted to fly home that day. On multiple occasions during our conversation the agents said 'they should have helped you in Seattle before your flight left.' At one point walking away from me. I stated 'well, that did not happen. I inquired in Seattle regarding the connection and the agents at the gate stated that 'every flight is delayed' from LAX and it won't be an issue'. I booked a flight with American and flew out that evening. I will never book with Spirit Airlines again. I will always use the airline sight first before booking through sites such as Kayak as well."

Then, when rescheduling our flights, they wanted to put my husband and I on different flights that would get back 6 hours apart from each other. You get what you pay for with Spirit Airlines, that's for sure."

Cons: "I did not even get a chance to GET ON THE PLANE because I was 2 minutes too late to the kiosk and it would not let me print my ticket. I was notified that I would have to be there NO later than 45 min to get my boarding pass, but I had no previous knowledge of this spirit rule. I did NOT receive an email telling me to check in within 24 hours to 1 hour before my flight. I did attempt to check-in prior to getting to the airport and could not because the website is so poorly designed. If you try and look online for this information it is nowhere to be found. I only had a backpack therefore knew that in a smaller airport I would very easily get through security and allocated that time to get to my plane. Although I was not even allowed to print my ticket. I will NEVER fly spirit airlines because their customer service is awful and they are liars to all flyers."

Pros: "Great flight, on time, and fairly comfortable. The seats compare to other airlines space and room. Staff was very Helpful."

Pros: "Flights on time or early. Well organized boarding. Clean & new planes, & seemed roomier than the "big guy" airlines."
Cons: "Seats don't recline. Everything costs from water to seats to carry-on bags to checked bags. By time you pay to get a seat and to either check or carry on a bag both ways, add $70 per person to fare. Helps if you bring your own snacks."

I also feel that you shouldn't have to compromise service for flying "cheap". Even though "cheap" overall wasn't any different from any of the other airlines I've flown. I like the concept and idea of Spirit but I feel that there is still a great deal of fine tuning."

They said a plane was un boarding so we had to wait till they were done. Very cheap plane don't try it. My first experience is the worst."

I spent the three hours we were delayed wishing I had paid more up front for an airline that doesn't treat its customers like marks at a carnival. With the baggage fee on my return trip, the difference in price is not worth it."
