Also the business class bathroom was very small, very disgustingly dirty when we boarded (someone tried to clean it a bit) and dirty and small throughout the flight. The bathroom does not have ventilation and the toilet basically does not have any liquid for flushing!"

Guy passed out as we were about to take off so we turned back to the gate and sat on the plane for over 30 mins while we waited for medical personnel to check the guy out. Then had to wait another 15 mins for the fuel truck to refill us because we had burnt so much sitting there. I understand that we had to turn back due to his condition but why was he not removed from the plane and put on a later flight when he felt better instead of making all of us late? You would think after all this the crew would be kind and appreciate our patience but 2 of the flight attendants were the exact opposite of that. Both of them were very short with people and the one kept rolling her eyes at people as they were handing out drinks. The only thing I would give 5 stars is the tv entertainment. My seat wouldn’t even recline for me to enjoy though."

We asked the attendant at the gate desk if there was any chance that the rest of us on standby could be seated together... HE UPGRADED OUR WHOLE GROUP TO COMFORT and allowed us to all sit with each other. Greatest flight experience I've had and such great staff with Delta. Will fly Delta going forward whenever I have a a chance (flew Southwest the rest of our trip - service, cleanliness, friendliness didn't compare)."

Pros: "Delta used to be such a good quality airline, but lately, the fact that you have to pay for all checked luggage, small overhead compartments, and the over-selling of seats makes it feel cheap and less stable. I think the boarding process should start with people in the back of the airplane and fill the plane back to front. Boarding would be more efficient."

Cons: "I have MS so I always select an aisle seat because I can't sit still and if I try I end up with a lot of pain. They want us by our seats during the flight. I selected our seating at the time of purchase, checked 24 hours in advance & checked at the front desk before going to our terminal and we still had the seats I selected at all those points. I heard names being called while we waited for our plane, but ours was never called. It wasn't till we boarded that bells started going off & our seating was changed. I spent 8 1/2 hours in pain!"

We then did not receive our luggage until about 18 hours after landing and have still not received a baggage refund, voucher, or any compensation for the inconvenience of all of the passengers."

And while descending he makes sharp turns left and right a few times, didn’t seem like he knew where he was going. I been on rough descents before but this pilot is not qualified."

Cons: "We ran into a combination of traffic, parking, and other issues that drove us to arrive at our check-in at 7pm for a 7:40pm flight. We were not able to check-in given the 45 min rule. NO WHERE in our email did it say there was this rule nor were we prompted or told to check-in prior to our flight online. There's no suncountry app for check-in that we could find (only a visa one). We booked through priceline.The flight hadn't even started boarding and we were not allowed to check-in. We were re-booked on a flight that left two hours later, but that flight was delayed 3 hours. The whole thing essentially took one full night of paid hotel and fun in Vegas away costing us over $200 just in hotel plus we spent an extra 5 hours in an airport that didn't have a bar open past 9pm."

Cons: "Flight 103 was supposed to be at 1:30. Delayed at 10 or 11 am to 3:08. A little in the day to have a major delay putting us into Vegas right at rush hour with higher taxi pricing and headache. Once we were at the airport the delays continued. We didn't finish boarding the plane until after 330. And then had to sit on the tarmac while they tried to squeeze us in. Then landing you could tell we were circling airport while they tried to find a spot for us to land, either that or it was a bad route because it involved a lot of sharp turns. We landed almost two hours late, which for a 48 hour Vegas trip is harsh. All we got in return was an apology. Usually other airlines will at least give you the full can of pop or something minor to off set the bigger inconvience."

Note: Spirit always accepted this same carry-on for many flights over the years, but didn't on this same trip to my location. ( This Sun Country trip was on the return flight. )"

Cons: "At the Sun Country desk in Minneapolis they told me they couldn't check my bag all the way through to San Francisco because they didn't have an arrangement with Virgin America. I learned in Las Vegas after claiming injury checking my bag that they do have an arrangement, and that agent just didn't know about it. Kayak should never have allowed me to book a ticket where I had to re-check my bag and go through security again without a big warning, so I'm unhappy about that. Additionally, it seems like Sun Country needs to get his ducks in order regarding baggage agreements. The change in Las Vegas was stressful and involved switching terminals as well – not ideal."

No explanation whatsoever was given about what was going on. The aisles on the plane were so narrow that I could just barely roll my carry-on bag down it. The head of the guy sitting in front of me was almost in my lap. I couldn't even lower my tray table all the way down to a flat position to set my beverage upon because his seat was so close to mine. When the flight was almost to its destination, we had to circle the airport for awhile because Obama was landing at this time too. We were never told of this possibility until it actually happened. Why not ? We arrived about an hour and a half later than our scheduled time. With all these inconveniences to us, absolutely nothing complimentary was given to us passengers to make up for their incompetence and how our travel plans may have been disrupted. This was a bad experience and my last with Sun Country."

I went to the wrong terminal and did not know that the advertised finair flight was actually American Airlines, the AA ticket counter attendant went all out to make sure I made it to the gate. All this with less than an hour before departure."

Cons: "Due to two flight delays, I traveled an additional 24 hours, on top of my 20 hour original flight. Albuquerque Airline staff were rude, dismissive, incompetent, and each individual I spoke with gave me wildly differing information. The two delays (leading to approximately 48 hours of travel) would have been stressful enough, but the callous, ignorant and unprofessional attitudes of American Airlines staff (and staff in general at Chicago O'Hare Airport) really disappointed me. This was even more striking compared with the professional service I received from British Airways (from whom I purchased the tickets). I was ashamed that my country could lag so far behind in terms of basic customer service and problem solving."

Got on the plane an hour late, sat on the plane for over an hour, had to get off the plane and wait in the terminal for 2 hours therefore missed my connecting flight and have not arrived at my final destination. There was nothing offered for the trouble or inconenience (snacks, drinks, etc.). I had to miss an important meeting and never want to fly Frontier again."

There was a manager present who acted more like a monitor than a manager. eventhough I have a return ticket, I will not use it and prefer to purchase a ticket on another airline. You can keep the money. I wouldn't subject a mango dog to your airline and service."

However with the extra hidden charges ie: paying for a regular seat rather than a hard uncomfortable seat. Paying for drinks,paying for carry on luggage . I could have chose another airline and have been completely satisfied. Update the planes."

Cons: "We were at the Houston airport almost 3 hours before flight time, but no one was at the ticket counter. 45 minutes later the ticket agent arrived then told (not asked) us to move aside so they could check in passengers on an earlier flight. I completely understand the earlier flight thing, but common courtesy goes a long way! The gate agent was quite curt in his attempts to board people by boarding groups. The flight crew was tired, bored and just doing a job. Frontier will not be at the top of the list for future flights."

Cons: "Spirit had many cancelled flights while I was in Las Vegas. Mine was one. They said it was weather related and therefore couldn't accommodate hotels. Well, every other airline was able to get out. I think there was a staffing issue and management didn't want to actually provide decent service to their customers. I was stuck I. The airport over night with a 3 month old. It was awful. Then my next flight, a sink broke and was spewing water all down the aisle so we had to delay the flight and we're deplaned. Not impressed and won't fly with them again. After all said and done, I don't think it saved me any money."

Pros: "The staff saved this experience. Kind Spirit employees from the terminal to the airplane."
Cons: "The flight was 4 hours late with no explanation as to why. We were told the flight had been pushed back 3 hours 15 minutes before it was scheduled to start boarding. It was then another hour later than we were told it would be. I left Minneapolis after 1am and got into vegas at nearly 3am. You pay less with Spirit for a reason."

Cons: "Not one person that I encountered with Spirit was friendly. I also paid to check my bag which never made it to my destination until a day later. Just an overall horribly experience."

Pros: "I had heard for years that I would have a bad experience on Spirit, but I had to see for myself. All of the rumors were true. It is a nickel & dime operation that is inconvenient, uncomfortable, and unpredictable. I will probably never fly Spirit again."
Cons: "Nearly every single step of the process had another added charge. I was surprised the lavatory didn't have a credit card swipe on the door. After paying the ticket price, the seat, and the bags, I could have saved money by booking another carrier with comfortable seats and basic drink/snack service included in the price."

Cons: "We couldn't hear the announcer in the terminal. It's cost too much to check bags. It's ridiculous to pay for simple snacks and drinks. The landing was rough. Several rowdy passengers that the crew would not do anything about. There was gum in the booklets in the seat in front of me. When we landed we sat for 25 minutes. The seats are very comfortable."

Pros: "I disliked everything except how helpful the staff was when I almost puked because of the extreme discomfort of the seats."
Cons: "Being in that seat for 3.5 hours was the worst thing I have ever experienced on an airplane. I think I pinched the Vagus nerve in my abdomen and almost passed out on the airplane. I somehow was able to tell my wife that I needed help, she asked for water, they told me it would be $3 and I told them that I needed to go to the bathroom fast because I was very ill. Made it to the flight attendant's seat by the bathroom and sat there for a minute, then was able to open the bathroom door. Sat on the floor of the bathroom for about 5 minutes and was 100% better. Didn't even need to vomit because my circulation seemed to normalize after getting out of that horrible seat. Imagine - sitting on the floor in the tiny bathroom was more comfortable and actually cured me. They get one star out of 10 from my because they gave me free water. Otherwise it would be zero."

Cons: "Seating is very tight! Horrible, in fact! If you are a short, petite person then okay but even at 5'9", the seating is very uncomfortable. The hidden fees made their cheap flights a joke. I spent just as much, if not more than I would have booking with another airline. The peronnel are so so, and NEVER AGAIN will I fly Spirit."

Cons: "Flight cancelled 3 hours prior to boarding. When checked early in the morning, flight was delayed an hour. But 4 hours later, they cancelled it due to mechanical problems and they had no other planes to make the trip. Never use them again. Everything is a cost, luggage, tickets, carry ons and so on, so you end up paying the same if not more. Booked on Delta last minute at an additional cost to us but we had reservations already booked. Good lesson learned .... DO NOT use them. You will be much better off with another airline."

The woman seated next to us was allowed to board very intoxicated and ended up pooping her pants and we had to sit next to her for the entire flight. Unfriendly staff. No smiles, chomping gum, reading safety tips with no eye contact. Expensive non-alcoholic drinks"

Cons: "Significant delays on both outbound & return flights. They actually boarded an entire plane without pilots in Las Vegas and we waited for at least 40 minutes past scheduled departure. I was put off by their customer service throughout the experience and will not be flying with them ever again, regardless of price."

Cons: "Our flight was cancelled not once but twice due to a blizzard without another flight being offered until 2-3 days later! We had no choice but to cancel our entire trip. I understand the cancellations were unavoidable but It would have been nice if they would have added a couple flights the next morning to compensate for the flights that were cancelled. Other flights flying out of the same airport were still leaving not sure why ours were cancelled. Because of that I won't be flying Spirit airlines again."

Cons: "The airline claims to be less expensive then they slam you with all these extra fees. It cost me $400 to get our luggage to our destination. Then they lost our luggage that was carrying $15,000 worth of our art that we were traveling with fir a trade show. Terrible customer service trying to recover our luggage. The water in the plane was $3. The peanuts cost extra. The worst flying experience in my life."

Pros: "I was very skeptical and concerned that I would "get what you pay for" with Spirit, given some recently publicity about customer satisfaction, but I found it equal to, if not better than, all my other flights with Delta. It helps to go in knowing a few things (like always book your bags with you initial flight booking), but both our flights were on time (or early), no lost luggage and nothing to complain about. I will definitely be flying Spirit again."

($50 each way for a carry-on or checked bag....that's $50 PER bag, and it needs to be under 40 lbs.) - Charging even more extra if you pay for those extra luggage pieces at the airport instead of online ahead of time. - Charging for water or snacks on the plane. - The horrible casino advertisements inside the plane itself, under the overhead bins. - The flight attendant soliciting a Spirit credit card as we're descending to our destination, and going SEAT TO SEAT asking if we want one. - The mobile website that DOESN'T EXIST."
