Basically ~50 customers were dumped at a place they didn’t want to be and no info on his BA wanted to deal with it was given. After 1 week still no info on compensation. The food was delicious and served with real silverware. Complimentary blanket, a pillow, socks, toothpaste, toothbrush, ear plugs and a sleep mask ensured that I got a good few hours of sleep. I was definitely much more rested than I would have been in an economy seat and very grateful for the upgrade!"

The entertainment systems included plenty of content; movies allowed for different tastes, and there were other options. The crew were thoughtful and responsive to specific requests or needs. Blankets and pillows, earphones and announcements were useful. It was possible to sleep, but also, to stay awake if necessary. The flight arrived in good time, and was de-boarded efficiently as well. The menu was sufficient, although the tarragon chicken was underwhelming: the pasta dish was quite nice. The coffee was not great, but drinkable. I appreciated having actual milk for the coffee."

Didn't get our luggage with our clothes and amenities to use at the hotel - had to sleep in our plane clothes. Spend extra money we didn't have... it was awful! We will be staying away from Air Canada for awhile!"

The incoming plane was late; we wondered why this passport check could not have proceeded while we waited instead of delaying our boarding once our plane arrived."

Because United delivered us to Anchorage so late, we had to spend so much money on the hotel and next day flights. Until this point I have always been happy with United but I don't think we can go with United anymore after this."
