We had reserved a car through Ace via Kayak...confirmation number, etc. When our plane landed in NYC, we received a text saying that a vehicle wouldn't be available for 2-3 hours after our confirmed pick up time. Steer clear of Matt. He lied to us and told us we need to get liability insurance through the company because it’s the law. I heard him tell another customer that Colorado is a no-fault state to incentivize him to get insurance through Ace. We told Matt we have through our insurance and he tried telling us Colorado has a higher minimum. It was ridiculous. He looked so lethargic and apathetic. He hung out on his phone while getting our papers signed. Totally not impressed. I saw him scam two other customers as I sat there while my husband got our car. The cherry on top was he was flirting with two older women, who had no idea they just got scammed into buying additional insurance. And at the end he handed them a paper asking them to write a 5 star review. Very smart, ask the people who don’t know they just spent a few hundred dollars. Anyway, I definitely would pay the extra few bucks to rent from a reputable company and not deal with companies that hire people like Matt.Reviewed Aug 26 2025

In the middle of nowhere, not near any of the other rental companies. The vehicle was dented and damaged. The seat belt indicator was faulty, and the seat belt had to be buckled when no one was sitting in the seat. Seat indicators are related to the airbag system and therefore the car should have never been rented. Hidden fees for everything, including a $375 charge if you wanted to use a license plate toll. I was also charged $12.99 for one gallon of gas because they said that I did not return it, "completely full".Reviewed Aug 4 2025

Booked luxury suv six month before. Contacted the company to confirm month before our trip. Arrived and the car was not available. They offered me compact suv instead with no explanation, just we don’t have what you booked, not even sorry. Use big companies to rent in Lithuania.Reviewed Jul 28 2025

Friendly people in the counter. Acces to the vehicles was kind of problem because the access to the parking lot is not easy, specially with luggage. I can’t imagine with a wheelchair.Reviewed Jul 13 2025

They overcharged me for geo fence and that was not mentioned at the time of booking. You all should better job of mentioning this on booking rather than adding in somewhere in term and condition. I felt like getting changed on what was not suppose to be for unlimited mile car. The car also was not maintained it was showing oil change message and brakes were not good either.Reviewed Jul 9 2025
