Betty, Jan 2017 - Inn Off Capitol Park, an Ascend Collection Hotel
Pros (+) This hotel is right in Midtown and an easy walk to the Capitol. Nice breakfast and wonderful breakfast staffer Mar-Lyn. She could brighten anyone's day!

Anonymous, Dec 2016 - Inn Off Capitol Park, an Ascend Collection Hotel
Pros (+) It's a very nice hotel, but I got a suite so my friend and I would have privacy from each other. I told him that I'd take the couch... which was not possible, because the couch was barely bigger than a lazy boy recliner and the only way I could sleep on their couch was if I slept in the fetal position... which wasn't possible. They said all their couches except the one in the handicap accessible r...
Cons (-) The "suite" that was pointless. See above. Also, Parking is on a first come first parked basis. Luckily we got a space and didn't have to move my car. We took a lyft to the Kings game which is way cheaper/easier than paying for parking and losing out space in the garage. Because if you get a parking space at the hotel, if you drive somewhere, your space is not guaranteed when you return.

Pros (+) I liked that half of the staff I encountered really cared.
Cons (-) I didn't like how little parking they had. Also, my key cards kept demagnetizing. The receptionist I dealt with the first time said it was because I had it near electronics, but it happened a second time and I was keeping it away from electronics. I was there for three nights and this happened twice.

Pros (+) It was clean and looked pretty new, breakfast was good, the location is in a beautiful part of Sacramento. The room was surprisingly child proof, my one year old couldn't get into anything he wasn't supposed to, and there was nothing breakable at his height.
Cons (-) I have a 4 door small car and it was a TIGHT squeeze into their parking garage. If you drive anything bigger I'd recommend parking across the street at the hospital, the hotel validates parking there.
