James, Jun 2022 - SureStay Plus by Best Western Sacramento Cal Expo
The pictures on the website depicting this place was nothing compared to what it actually is. Those pictures may have been of their best portions and not actual conditions. Lots of things are run down and not taken care of properly. I cant believe how much I paid for such a poor quality of the room. I was told also that I had to put an extra deposit on the room (which I was okay with) but when I a...

Angelique, Jun 2022 - SureStay Plus by Best Western Sacramento Cal Expo
The staff was terrible, a lot of sketchy people loitering outside, there was a homeless lady screaming on the property. When I pulled in with my three young grandchildren, there was two cop cars outside. The room I paid for was supposed to be a good deal, with a lot of good amenities. The pool that I had been looking forward to using was padlocked. The tv was stuck on one channel, I had requested ...

Randy, May 2021 - SureStay Plus by Best Western Sacramento Cal Expo
Pros (+) Didn’t have breakfast
Cons (-) As soon as I got into the reception area I didn’t get greeted. No one was at the greeting area. Security guy asked someone in the back office to come and he just told me five minutes. After waiting 5 minutes no one came out until I had to peek into the back office and ask again. Also the room was not that clean. The bed sheets you can tell were washed but had random stains. Also the floor next to ...

Pros (+) Big comfortable bed. 4 super fluffy pillows. Big tv..
Cons (-) A better view out my window would have been really nice. My room was right next to the dumpsters. I called room service and the guy that answered was a real jackoff.

Pros (+) Desk staff were friendly and helpful. There is an outstanding Mexican restaurant adjacent to the hotel.
Cons (-) No shampoo in the room. And an inconsiderate guest used his cellphone outside the rooms, which could be heard inside. Otherwise the facility was fine.

Pros (+) Thought I'd save some money. I did and sacrificed it to any comfort. The pillows were dead. Cigarette holes in the sheets. No place in the bathroom to put anything. If you just want a place to crash and nothing else, this will do. If you want any kind of comfort, this isn't the place.

Pros (+) Nothing.
Cons (-) Front desk was not helpful with coordinating shuttle . Pillows were the size of kleenex. Elevator smelled like a bong. Room smelled like an ashtray.
