Pros:Nothing
Cons:Long line because the checkout process hasn't changed in 30 years. Slow computers and too many unnecessary steps. Person offered me a pickup truck to get out faster. Got to the truck and someone else was in it. Then they gave me another car which was smoked in. Had to return to another Avis. They had no cars to swap but gave me a minivan that didn't have smoke, but wasn't clean. Worst rental experience ever. Will never use Avis ever again. It will go bankrupt.

Cons:Wait was 1hr and a half because the computers were down. Only given a 10 passenger van reserved a 12 passenger van.

At pickup, two employees were having a "robust" conversation as to who was responsible for listening to the vehicle numbers radioed back to them. It was a "passionate" conversation that prevented work from continuing. The conditions of some of the vehicles were a bit concerning. The F-150 clearly needed an alignment which could have been a safety issue. Another customer (disabled vet) was provided a Charger that had been in an accident. He waited around for roughly an half hour for help but no one came. He loaded his wheelchair into the trunk and left.

Cons:I reserved a car and was given wrong pick up location. When you are flying into an airport and need a car, obviously expect the pickup location to be at airport not 30 miles away with no way to get there. you go to rent the car from airport location it is now more than double what you reserved it

Pros:I drove 44 miles. I picked up a car that didn't have a full gas tank however I would be penalized if I returned in the same condition. No one checked my car upon return. I was told to leave my keys in car and they would send me my receipt. I travel weekly for business and this was my first such experience.

Cons:Was not the same price as quoted by you said that we were at Wrong Avis pick up it said airport pickup got there said it was another Avis I asked how mmuch it was here my quote was 141 they told me to 299 but said they can put us in the car for 210 pounds $70 more then what I got from you then he said we can take the shuttle back to the airport and catch a cab to the other Avis dealer I was not going to pay and take up more time to do that so I took the car will never use them again should have went to Enterprise I coulD of got a full size car for the price I paid for this little one what a ripoff

Pros:they accommodated me by giving me a higher grade vehicle.
Cons:I paid for a traverse and the Avis rep tried to give me a minivan. He also was not going to budge. He gave me back my license and credit card after said I could go elsewhere. My problem is i prepaid for my traverse and he did not care. I was not going to stand for that and therefore i started making phone calls to other rent a car places. My husband spoke with the rep and he finally tried to give us a Ford 4wd or an expedition.
