The said they did not have the car that they reserved for me in stock the day of my trip. I had to scatter and find another group. So this reservation was a waste of my time. I will remember this poor service.

The only thing I suggest is that at Manchester airport, there is no free car parking for pov's, if you are driving to pick up a rental . For instance, I drove my sedan to get my pickup truck rental at Manchester. I had to pay for parking for 24 hours. Not a big deal, but the Avis counter said there were other such comments. Just let people know ahead of time, it'll soothe the surprise.

My experience was poor, at pickup it too more 45 for the rep to sort out my reservation. Drop off was great. Car was not what expected, it had exterior body damage, it was not well maintained, battery ran out on me several times and had to request assistance from passing vehicles, ultimately I had provider replace the battery and took 5 hours out of my time. I expected better service from Avis

I had booked a car to pick up at a city location- just to come there and get told that there is no car in the lot. Customer service was mediocre friendly when I called to reschedule to another location- where there also was no car- this went on until I rescheduled to pick up at the airport with rates that had gone up…. With having to pay a trip from the city location to the airport I ended up paying 120$ more than originally confirmed. Also, the car was clean on the inside but windows and mirrors were quite dirty…

First off, they upcharged me over double what the original quote was through your website. Secondly, they didn’t actually have the vehicle when I went to pick it up, and instead, tried to give me a minivan or a truck which would have cost significantly more money. So I went out to the airport because it was the only place still open that likely had a regular midsized car. Then, they failed to email me the estimated bill, and when I called to ask for it, two customer service reps told me that they couldn’t possibly find it because it didn’t exist, which it did. The third rep found it easily and gave me at least some of the information I wanted. I found out they were charging me about 190 dollars a day, for a Nissan Altima. Also, they wanted it back at 6pm due to that being the originally selected pickup/drop-off time, despite the fact that I didn’t actually pick up the vehicle until after 8pm due to their failure to have the vehicle they claimed they had. I took the vehicle back a day early to escape at least a day of their predatorily high pricing. I will never do business with Avis/Budget again, nor will I ever use Kayak again, because it was your website that gave me the original quote that was nowhere near the final quote, and that told me the vehicle was in stock. I will be telling everybody I know to stay away from that company as well as yours, because those inaccuracies cost me hundreds of dollars for absolutely no reason. Perhaps your company should spend a little of that advertising money on fixing your service to the point that it gives accurate quotes and the products from those quotes are actually available.

A very long line at the Burlington airport. No fault of AVIS staff, who were expeditious, but I still had to stand in line even though I'm an AVIS member and had checked in online the previous day. I thought I'd just be able to pick up the key and get my car
