There was no attendant at the counter at 4:00pm for my car drop off. I had to leave the keys in the overnight box with a note regarding mileage and drop off gas level…. I thought it was strange but the young lady I pick up the vehicle with was excellent! Very helpful & courteous.

Location is not correct - took a long time to even find this location. They said didn’t have our reservation - we had to play phone tag with the support line and on-site agent for hours before they finally got us a car. Then they downgraded our car after we already paid and signed the contracts.

I was unable to pickup my vehicle. Avis stated that vehicle was at a different location but my reservation was the correct one in my email. Avis would not honor the reservation I made with you. I tried contacting Kayak and I was unable to contact or get a hold of anyone to correct your mistake. I had to rent another vehicle with budget and it delayed my whole trip and added expenses I hadn’t planned for. I will not be using your company again.

I thought I was being charged in Canadian dollars When I arrived Amy card was charged I learned kayak is an American company and charges American dollars No where does it say this I do not think I should have paid the higher fees I explained how I felt “bit” the representative knew I wasn’t happy

Difficult to find pickup and dropoff areas. Unclear instructions on the dropoff location and it took way longer than required.

I did't get a car from the category i asked on the internet reservation. I had booked a 'ford escape or similar intermediate SUV" (i have a screen capture of my original booking) and I got a Jeep Grand cherokee. That was 50 cad per day more expensive. I was threatened by the agent to cancel the reservation altogether if I continued questioning it. In brief, this interaction felt disrespectful and manipulative. The car in itself was correct and allowed me to fulfill my plans. I did my part, gave it back intact, cleaned and tank filled. But in the end, i paid way more than expected and booked.

When I arrived to pick up the car, they said they didn't have my car and that I booked it at the wrong airport. When I insisted that they look into it further, they refused. This cost me $30 in international calls to resolve as well as $30 in Uber charges. I would like to be reimbursed.

Terrible experience at pick up. They said the price we had reserved the car for was only 50% of the total payment because we had a different drop off city. Even though the reservation explicitly showed the different pick up/drop off and total fees. The car was in poor condition and the AC stopped working half way into our trip. The windshield was dirty inside. Next time, I’m going back to Localiza. Avis/ Unidas is a joke in Brazil.

The most terrible experience. I got there with my reservation number and they didn't have a car for me. I will never rent a car there again. In fact, I will never book a car reservation through your platform again.
