I will never rent from Avis as long as I live. Atrocious service.

I got scammed. The car was never there upon arrival. Never again. I had to dispute my credit card for the charges.

Pickup was a disaster. Their system went down for about 30 minutes during check in, so their staff was paralyzed. The line continued to grow. It took about 90 minutes to finally get my vehicle.

I was double-billed for this car: $454.29 from QEEQ.com who placed the rental order and $619.64 from Budget. When I disputed this double charge, Budget said I was late for picking up my car, so the original order had been cancelled and new order placed. I stood in line for the rental car for over one hour -- that's why I didn't pick up the car on time. I was there, the rental desk was understaffed and the line of renters was very long.

Avis at MCO does not clean the vehicles. The first vehicle we received, a silver Camry with New York plates, was dirty and had sand all over. The Camry was exchanged for a silver RAV4 with Floria plates (DY9-5BZ), this suv was DISGUSTINGLY dirty and smelled like a dog had urinated all over the car. You could actually see the pee stains on the seats. After complaining for the second time, we were given a Chevy Equinox which was in much better shape and even though not clean, it was acceptable. I would not recommend them all.

Overall im satisfied with the experience, but what I wasn’t happy was that they did not give me the rental I reserved , I was supposed to get an elite ford explorer and they gave me a smaller suv n there was no room for luggage , we made it work but our trip was very uncomfortable

The car I rented wasn't there! I reserved an electric vehicle - any electric vehicle - and instead was given a large gas SUV. I had to speak to 3 customer service representatives to cancel my reservation because there were no other cars they could give me. It was a giant waste of time and a huge disrupter of my plans. My experience with Avis was absolutely horrible.
