Pros:Car was high quality. Comfortable.
Cons:Extra charges. Bad service. Simply a ripoff
Cons:The GPS didn’t work at all.
Cons:AVIS added a mandatory fee for insurance that was equally high as the advertised rental price. It doesn't make much sense to advertise a price for a rental if it's not possible to rent the vehicle for that price or anything close to it.

Cons:I would like to point out that our car rental was not in San Antonio, but in San Jose, Costa Rica. We were incredibly disappointed to discover that our rental had been given to someone else, and the company did not have any other car available to give us. Will not be using this co. again.

Cons:Quoted on Kayak as rather cheap, but after the required insurance purchase, turned out to be 3X as much as the initial cost.
Cons:I ordered the SUV through Kayak and purchased the insurance based on all the tripadvisor website comments on the driving there. I was quoted $50 for the insurance which made the car rental about $375. when I arrived in San Jose, Costa Rica, AVIS told me the insurance was a scam and that they don't honor it if anything happens to the vehicle. The total cost for the vehicle turned out to be close to $700 Double! AVIS made it better by giving us a 4x4 SUV for free. AVIS was very nice. I would not trust Kayak to rent another car.

Cons:I was sold collision insurance during the online checkout process only to be told at the counter that the insurance was worthless in Costa Rica and I should call and cancel. However I couldn't call to cancel since the international call would have cost more than the $9/day. Ka-yak=Ripoff! Never agai
