Always a pleasure to visit Pennyhill. Beautiful bathroom & bedroom. no sewing kit in room. Overpriced food that was very oily. They did charge for the portion that was returned.
Meal in the brasserie was excellent The noise from the room above ours was intollerable. We could here them walking up and down the room and flushing their toilet. We were kept awake until 3am
The traditional room was still of a good size and even though most rooms were booked the spa was not crowded at all...most relaxing and able to truly chill out with partner. The price of treatments and food in the brasserie is quite expensive, be prepared to splash out in this luxury hotel!
spa area & availability of treatments hotel staff were in the main unfriendly particularly at the reception desk. I am glad i didnt not pay full price.
food excellant bedroom first class comfort, could not fault any of the staff all most helpful.
We really enjoyed the relaxed feel of the hotel. The service in the restaurant was average as were the accompaniments to the meal.
Fabulous Spa - possibly the best I have ever visited.
The staff were excellent - we were attending a wedding and that was perfect. No air conditioning - bath plug did not fit plughole, shower very difficult to use room extremely dated - got the impression that we were allocated one of the poorest quality rooms.
It has a calmness seldom found in hotels today
Clean comfortable very good staff Was stung by a wasp during first night.Told staff and apparantly wasp nest outsde our room which had been dealt with by appropriate firm but obviously not properly!Changed roonm and was given refund for the night.Impressed with staff during this.
Very few. Room 25 had a strong 'greasy' odour that originated from the restaurant and increased as the restaurant became busier. Both my wife and myself became very nauseous and requested a different room. We were offered an air freshner to combat the smell! Eventually we were given an alternative room but were originally told that there were none available. The desk receptionist commented that room 25 has always been like that!
The bed was very comfortable Noise from outside, noise from inside hotel, being woken twice at gone 2am by night porter knocking and ringin us, worn out bath through to metal
Everything about the Premier Inn Bagshot was excellent None
Room was a good size, shower excellent, staff were polite helpful and friendly Tilet seat unsafe (loose)
Good hotel for overnight stop. Clean friendly and pleasant pub for meals next door. Convenient for Ascot, Windsor,& Thorpe Park and rail links further afield.
The food was ok despite the lack lof choice we would have expected, breakfast was spot on A bit like flying ryan air - I am surprised by the number of times I get taken in by what I concider false advertising - has anyone ever stayed at the low price quoted outside. Charging for car parking is near criminal, how else can anyone get to the hotel. The penny pinching of only two tea bags and two coffees is incredible given the price.
Helpfulness and cheeriness of staff. 35% discount on internet; without this value for money would have been poor and I would not have booked. Cost of regular one-night stay
More for convenience,as I have to catch early flight. Proximity to the tube is the other plus points. none
It was just what we needed after a long flight, clean, spacious, modern and comfortable.
location for airport
Very convenient, great location to airport
The Staff were friendly and very helpful. Food is great at reasonable prices, everything looks smart and well organised. it is right next to the tube station which was convenient. The rates are low and you get much more than you expected for this sort of price. the breakfast was great and plenty of choice. Basically I would use this hotel again if I am in the area – very pleasant stay.
friendly staff, convenient location
My wife needed to see a GP and they quickly called one out for us. They were very helpful.
The bed was inviting and clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was lovely! I didn't have a computer with me so was grateful I could come in free of charge to write an email. There was nothing I didn't like.
Location The hotel was very noisy and the housekeeping staff kept slamming doors keeping us up. In addition we asked a server about the menu and she rudely told us to ask someone else and walked off.
Brand new, lovely hotel and a superb Garden Inn. Comfortable and crispy clean. Nice staff at the bar and check in. Easy access from Hatton Cross Tube stop. Read a review that transportation was bad and have to agree. Expensive at GBP 4:50 each. Worse yet was the SURLY, RUDE, UNHELPFUL CRETIN that drove the bus. Awful.
Checkin was quick. Food at the bar was good (see also what I did not like) I picked the hotel because of the name, I stayed in excellent Jury's Inss before, also because it was (said to be) close to the underground & heathrow, Only at the exit there was no indication where the hotel was located, and the hotel was not visible. So I had to ask around, before finding the hotel. It was a bit farther away than described. At check-in they told me the restaurant would be open until 22h30, and gave me a key-card for my room that did not work. When coming back down to the restaurant I was told it closed early, so I had to go to the (overflowing) bar, and had to wait to get a seat. My room was close the the elevators, and poorly insulated, and I heard the elevators moving up and down, and stopping at my floor all night.
The convenient possision, the room was very quiet, no airport noice. The bar area not very acceptable for eating a light meal
The concierge staff were very helpful and friendly, but something need to be done for the check in and check out front liners. We checked in on 25 \nov 2010, arriving about 10 pm plus from Paris enroute to scotland, the check I staff was not very friendly. We checkd out early morning on 26 nov 2010, the check out staff was also not friendly. A simple eye contact would have been helpful for the hotel management.
Slick check in, very clean and comfortable
Reasonably priced, comfortable, very close to Heathrow No complaints, would stay again.
the strict minimum!! 14 GBP for wifi
Close to the international airport with easy access to cheap shuttle bus service. Rooms were clean and heating/cooling easily adjusted. Staff were friendly and good with children. A good menu for kids. Rooms are very small, even for overnight stay. There is no lift so luggage must be carried up two flights of stairs which is back breaking if your traveling overseas with a large load. They claim to be 4 star which is a bit of a joke... More like 2 1/2 to 3 mainly due to the fact it is dated (looking worn), lack of lifts to upper levels and lacking 4 star facilities. WiFi was a bit dear. Most places in this pricerange where we stayed offered free WiFi.
The food was great, and the service terrific too. Doors a bit scratched up.
Nothing decor very tired, noisy
Relatively clean I chose the hotel because of its supposedly superior pool and fitness room, but they closed right after I arrived. Why would an airport hotel close its facilities at night?
Close to the airport The rooms was far too hot.
close to the airport for our departure home the next day cost means to make our own coffee and tea mini refrigerator nice sized bathroom had to walk along way down a hallway to access an elevator to the 2nd floor and then had to walk back down another long hallway there was urine in the toilet in our "clean" hotel room and the TV was all ready on - it left us wondering if our room had really been cleaned no extra pillows or blankets
Close to the airport. Elegant in its own way. The rooms are a bit small.
First off I couldn't book the room through the hotel. I was forced to book with third party online. My bathroom had flooded when I had taken a shower, due to the shower threshold. I had upgraded my room simply just looking for a king bed. The only room available was a sweet which had cost me 275.00 pounds. They only compensated me 50 pounds for a soak and wet bathroom that I had to mop up with all the towels in the room.
Close to airport, clean and upgraded rooms. Dinner was very good and the breakfast buffet was great.
Location State of repair/decor. Food---terrible !!! Seemed cheap for a Marriott --now understand why.
Room is Comfortable and modern. Lobby and pub/bar very spacious and comfortable. Endless corridors and small rooms for such a huge hotel.
What a great location. As a weary traveler it's nice when everything goes smoothly. Staff was very accommodating .
Big lounge, helpful front desk service. Discounted pricing relative to other hotels in the area. Outside decor and current renovations give very poor first impressions. Room was typ Marriott-type accommodations. I'd recommend spending the extra $10+ to stay elsewhere if possible, but would consider again at same price range when renovations are complete.
Location This hotel is old and not very clean. I am surprised that Marriott has let this hotel go this far in dis-repair. Not worth 200 USD a night.
Proximity to airport Ability to earn Marriott points The hotel was old and in desperate need of an update.
Comfortable room and fast internet and ease of taking the public bus system 5 minutes to the terminal cannot be beat. Hair in the bathroom and in the tea cup suggested it did not get cleaned well, and about a 45" wait to get checked in made the stay less than ideal. Both are probably one-off issues though based upon reviews available.
Staff attention to detail, quality of room and location
Location Service in the restaurant was very efficient and friendly We were not informed that the hotel is going through a TOTAL renovation. We were initially placed in a recently finished room. After a real ordeal to get there, we found out that our room reeked of chemicals (gave us a headache within 5 minutes and watery eyes), still had some construction debris and the bathroom door handle was not installed. Had to carry all our luggage back and had to be moved to a different room.
Location, lounge 1.the hotel could not find my kayak reservation so I am Not sure that I paid the kayak rate, in fact there is a good chance but I was charged twice and I'll have to find some way to reconcile this. For some reason the kayak reservations were not acceptable for their confirmation numbering system, the staff acted like they never seen a kayak reservation. 2.none of the hotel had internet access whatsoever it was down all night. Only one staff was manning the concierge desk and with the internet down the line was very long, yet it seems like the staff didn't put 2&2 together....perhaps you should increase the number of people at the concierge desk when the internet is down. At times the concierge would just just disappear I think probably hoping people would just disappear as well. Myself and another guest helped ourselves to the concierge desk computer print out our boarding passes for flights. 3. the entire hotel smelled like smoke despite the non smoking room. 4. the television didn't work in the hotel room and looked quite dated even at the kayak rated this hotel is not worth the money
clean, modern and comfortable
The staff in reception is really rough, especially some guy from indian or middle east, ask the staff to let me join the novotel club for 3 times, but he did not anything and lie to me.
Comfortable, clean hotel. No real complaint about the hotel itself but it could be better signposted from heathrow/M4 and the junction
Location of hotel, which allowed quiet ambient atmosphere during the short stay
The food at the restaurant was excellent - a fantastic meal.
The staff were polite, helpful, and unobtrusive. Also they were well turned out. The evening meal could have been better, however the full breakfast was excellent
The staff were very good. Public areas ofthe hotel a bit tatty but the rooms excelent.
It was totally fine for an overnight stay at an airport hotel. The pull out couch was actually more comfortable than the beds themselves. The air-con did not work in our room and they gave us a small fan to rectify the situation. The front desk staff was also very helpful on the phone, but never followed through with the requests we made.
Good service and a decent room. Free wifi. Overall, I was there for 2 days before I left England so it served its purpose. Check in was supposed to be at 2 pm. I got there around 3:30 and still had to wait about 15 minutes before getting my key.
Convenient for our touring itinery.
Extremely polite and service-oriented staff. Convenient location. Good value. Flexibility in accomodating a family of four in one room, a rarity in Europe.
Location adjacent to M4 -good for connection to London but tube connection better than bus routes. High taxi fares in the locality because of this High taxi fares-charged £28 for 7 mile trip.
This is boutique quality hotel with new amenities, at an amazingly low price. They do this, by offering small, but very nice, rooms with single beds. Its about a 10-12 min walk from the Hounslow East Metro station (4 stops from Heathrow), which isn't actually that bad. Fare is 1.5£, taxi is 20£ or so. (Turn right when you exit Hounslow East.)
We requested non-smoking and breakfast, but it didn't arrange. We waited many time for check-in and check-out.
Plenty of facilities; restaurants, gym, spa and shop. However we chose the hotel for its locationa nd the shuttle service. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Thought the internet was poorly priced, i.e. too expensive.
The assistance of your staff.Did not like being charged £9.00 for taxi to Terminal one as I thought £4.00 was figure mentioned by your staff.Patrick Madden.
Hotel staff generally good. Room ok, but sink drain a bit slow! Hotel could not find my booking on the system at all - I.E. no record of the Active Hotels booking. So check-in took nearly 20 minutes whilst we sorted out a new booking.
Had to wait for check in, had no record of room with breakfast booked over the internet but found booking was in first name. good job I printer copy to show.
Very nice hotel, and served my purpose well as an overnight stay to be close to Heathrow for an early morning flight back to the States.Nice and quiet, even though it is so close to Heathrow. Don't know who's fault, but when I arrived, hotel had no record of my reservation. a little scarey, as I was being dropped off by my parents, after a 5 hour drive from South Wales, before my flight the next day, back to the us. After probably 15 minutes, the receptionist made a new reservation, and all was well. The other thing that was not good, was that I did not get my 6am wake up call, which could've made for a bad situation, as I was catching a plane! Also, it was not easy to get to off the M4...got lost and ended up on the m25!!
Clezan, mostly quite quiet, ideally located for Heathrow / m25 For the second time in succession it took nearly an hour to check in as the Active Hotels Booking had not been received by the hotel. Required phonce calls to Active Hotels to resolve. Not what you need at 7pm at night after a long flight etc etc.
Proximity to Heathrow airport. Quiet. Brilliant breakfast.
Early check in after a long haul flight was not possible
It was equiped with a very nice staff no breakfast deal in a quite handsome amount of money
The room was clean and spacious. Check in staff was unwelcoming. Almost was given a smoking room until I complained. Breakfast was expensive and did not live up to the price. The location is far away from the airport and suited to business travelers. Will not book a room at this hotel again.
Easy to find, very good parking deal and helpful and very efficient staff. Room very quiet considering its proximity to Heathrow.
Relaxed atmosphere, good food and efficient staff. The excellent poolside atrium closed at 10 p.m. -- a pity because it was a very pleasant place to sit and relax after dinner.
Hotel was of poor standard and looked nothing like it did on the website. the room was dirty and the food far to expensive. Hotel staff had very poor understanding of English or they just didnt want to know. the way out
First class all the way Limited menu selectin in the sports bar
excellent facilities. main restaurant closed. drink and mini bar prices too high
The size of the room and the Hotel's location poor service at the restaurants
Had an unexpected layover at LHR. Hotel was convenient to airport. Kind staff, was upgraded to a Club floor room. Room was nice, clean, and comfy.
the room very comfortable....near airport. dining a little pricey..but breakfast buffet very good
The bed was very comfortable and the room in general was very spacious. Staff were courteous and professional and the choice at breakfast was impressive. The corridors are a bit like a 'rabbit warren' and difficult to locate room.Television required better instructions on simply being able to watch basic channels (button 1 didn't give you BBC1 etc).
nice room, very comfortable. cheerful and friendly staff. Willing to help. Quite nice swimming pool. Starbucks in the hotel My room was beside a stairwell leading to the carpark and it was left open often. shame the starbucks wasn't 24h
Good location for an overnight stay near Heathrow airport. Good breakfast and dinner buffet. McDonald is across the street. Transportion to the airport via Hoppa shutle (LB 4.50 each way). Walk is 5 minutes to frree city buses to the airport .
A bed to sleep Old hotel needs updating
Beds were already arranged to accommodate my booking no issues, good comfortable beds and good food. I thought I had booked breakfast with this reservation but that turned out to be extra
Nothing Dirty and unfriendly staff
Not much Terrible food, VERY slow internet. This was a Sheraton? Definitely will not recommend.
The room was nice. Large and comfortable with a great tv. Bathroom was good size and clean. Most staff members were friendly. False advertisement. Wifi was £15 a day when it said it was complimentary. Fitness center was a JOKE and the pictures on the hotels website should be taken down. Staff in dining room ignored us multiple times so we decided to just order room service. The price of the selections offered was ridiculous even for a hotel. I also informed kitchen staff of a food allergy I have, was told a dish was free of my allergen by three people, and later had a reaction from that food. Educate your kitchen staff on common allergies before you seriously harm someone. We heard doors slamming all night long. We were up all night and miserable the next day. I ended up moving to a hotel that was more expensive and lower quality for the next couple of nights.
Good sized room Staff could not find booking, had to wait a long while even though I had my confirmation with me. Room was incredibly hot all night even though we had the coolest setting and highest fan setting on. Rubbish nights sleep and long queue at check out the next morning.
Being so close to the airport was convenient since I had a early morning flight. There wasn't free wifi and access to public transport wasn't very convenient.
Great Value for money!
staff and decor and spa very noisy.
Peaceful surroundings, good old fashioned service
Proximity to Ascot races The size of the bedroom.. very small for 2 people. Also the bathroom did not have a bath.
Wow it was a fantastic hotel and such value.
Very friendly staff They did not give me the executive double room that I booed. Finally they charged me less as a normal double room
Spa and pool facilities were excellent. Good breakfast. Nice location. We booked two executive rooms. One was very nice but the other was disappointing and in need of a makeover.
This is the second time we have stayed at this hotel. It is out of the way but castle can be easly reached by car. We like to walk so walked to castle which took about two hours.Breakfast was nice.
the beautiful location, the general ambiance of the hotel and the lovely breakast, also the convenience of easy parking the room was rather small and dark
Friendly, attentive staff, who had local knowledge.A welcoming bar, with a good range of quality bar meals to support the restaurant.
Fabulous grounds Varying levels of service from staff. Some went out of their way to be helpful, others gave the impression they were doing you a favour. In a way the hotel is living on it's reputation as a scenic venue rather than offering 4* service.
receptionist couldnt give directions when I got lost. Thought the bar food was rather expensive and they were going to charge me for a cup of coffee in the morning having just spent £150!! Room far too hot
it was very relaxing and quiet which we liked also not lots of children as it was a romantic break evening meal was excellent a little expensive but very nice. yes the only thing was breakfast we had full english it was horrible cold and not cooked very well obviously not the same chef as at night that would be the only thing
The staff were very pleasant. The corridors leading to the room were old and shabby, the carpet was rank! An old sofa on the landing added to the general worry of what to expect when we got to the room. This was in contrast to the dining room and lounge which were very well presented. In addition, the room was adequate although the en-suite had serious mould in three corners - very off-putting.
good country location and relaxing atmosphere had to pass conference rooms with tables and other items in corridor to our room .We were not impressed !
very relaing stay, friendly staff willing to take time to have general conversation. Sunday morning breakfast served until 12 o clock midday - the ultimate lazy sunday morning. Well done Royal Berkshire
As it was Ascott weekend i did not like the Restaurant set menu at 45pounds and we had no choice to but to eat from this menu as there was nothing round about us and the weather was dreadfull.
Rooms spacious and breakfats good. No air conditioning and noisy. Other guests kep us awake until the early hours with conversations in the corridor andin the next room. Could almost hear every word of latter. Insufficient noise in sulation for a prestige hotel.
Great setting and old world feel to hotel. Very disappointed with our upgraded room for value for money though. Was it really a deluxe room?? Room was poor.
Our visit clashed with a couple of wedding parties but despite being extremely busy service was excellect, staff were delightful No grounds for complaint
Excellent hotel, a hidden gem...
Excellent Hotel Brasserie service was a bit lacking as we had to ask 3 times for our wine and it arrive after our starter.
Just everything. Staff are extrememly friendly with everything you need at the hotel.
The Aviator hotel is inspiring! Their attention to detail is a breath of fresh air. The cudstomer service is proffesional and personal!
The hotel is extremely stylish and plush. We stayed in a standard room, but it was plenty big enough and beautifully furnished. The restaurant food was excellent, and the staff were obliging when we asked for a dish that did not appear on that day's menu. I think the bathroom lighting could have been a bit better.
The foyer and sky bar is lovely Reception staff were not friendly and considering the hotel didn't seem busy I was disappointed that I was given a small first floor room with a road view. Puzzled as to why the entrance is so far from the car park when there is another entrance much closer that is closed. I live locally to this hotel and frequent the sky bar often which I will continue to do and I definitely recommend a visit.. .. to the bar only!
Excellent. Fantastic design, in particular the lobby area which is stunning. No swimming pool or Sp
Room excellent very comfortable, generally all necessary facilities were available ie access to the internet was very uesful, the staff were helpful and friendly nothing too was much trouble. I thought that the breakfast charge was excessive and not necessary taking into concideration the cost of the room.
Nothing was too much trouble an enjoyable stay. Its expensive
What a fantastic hotel. Service was brilliant. Check in available at 10.30am. Taxi booked prior to arrival and easy check - out. The breakfast was tasty and plentiful. The nightclub was very lively and busy. Room was spacious and comfortable. L'occitane toiletries too! Overall a pleasant stay.
location location location for my HQ office
Convenient to airport. Shuttle bus is GBP 8 per person. If 2 people that's GBP 16. Taxi is GBP 18 - go by taxi! Hotel has a pretty good restaurant. Room upgrade is not worth it - rooms are the same as regular (having stayed before in many rooms here). Good gym and pool. Only 1 computer station in the exec lounge. Should have at least 2. Lots of times had to wait >30 minutes.
The Execuitve Lounge was very small and uncomfortable and certainly not worth paying for an upgrade to get use of it.
Close to the airport, quiet, well cooked breakfast, excellent Italian restaurant far too expensive for a transit hotel, no warmth, bereft of human kindness in architecture and facilities, matress well worn, so poor nights sleep before travelling, need a second mortgage to buy food and especially drink
The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was quiet despite being located across the street from the hotel. n/a
The location, the services. And we really like the casual coziness of the Barhemia lounge and cafe. We always enjoy relaxing there, watching tv with food and drinks.
Cleanliness of room N/A
Overnight stay at Heathrow, prior ot flight
Family room was offered hence we could stay in the one room as a family. Price of the restaurant
We only had a overnight stay in the heathrow Marriott so none of the above catagories apply, Nevertheless our short stay was very comfortable, and I would not hesitate in recommending this hotel
I thought the reception into the hotel was excellent, the staff were very helpful and polite. The room was well appointed, comfortable and very clean.
A very good Hotel, and the staff were excellent. Nothing important, only a cracked sink in the shower room, but you expect one or two faults.
very little shower intermittent, like something from the 1950s. Smelly room. Poor waiting time to be served in restaurant...Shocking stay
Good room, breakfast was excellent Slightly noisy at night
As I have worked for hilton I have stayed in many around the country and I would have to say bracknell is 1 of the best. Very modern, loveley rooms and the staff were superb
The breakfast was excellent - the room was good The bed was very uncomfortable
Terrible traffic noise which made it hard to go to sleep and woke me up around 6am
The reception area is attractive, it's a pity the rooms do not reflect this. The room was very shabby especially the bathroom and in comparison to a Premier Inn which is much cheaper the rooms are cramped. The breakfast area on Sunday morning was manic and not an enjoyable experience with what seemed like hundreds of pre school children. It would be nice if you had a separate family area so couples can enjoy a quiter and more peaceful experience. I was not impressed with the charity donation of £1 being taken automatically without reference and the cost of two very expensive hot chocolates! £4.30 each, most hotels have this as standard in the room.
That is was close to where i was working Very poor value for money the hotel is very tired and rubish food!
The roomwas nice, and the bed comfey my booking was on under my guests name, and the receptionist wanted to send me to wokingham........i found the experience embbarrising
well organised get ride of the smoking bedrooms... how you can still have them I dont know by law....
