At first I was shocked that I have to give 1400 euros in deposit if I used my credit card insurance. It’s something I’m not used to. Their insurance at 29euros/day looks a little bit steep, but it really is a question-free insurance. Despite that, the price was so low on the rental itself that it did put it to same level to other agencies without any insurance. The car was top notch and the service was perfect.

Terrible experience. When we arrived to pick up the car they wanted 200 euros more for a one way drop off fee. I had read the contract carefully and nowhere did it say we would be charged for this. The rental company was unable to show it to us; they just insisted it was their policy. We left and rented from enterprise and they were wonderful. No hidden fees. Will never book with Centauro again.

The car pick up went well. We change the car, they couldn’t adapt the price, because I booked the car from the us kayak website. The drop off was so so. I was told to leave the key, but later received a car damage claim. It’s very suspicious that the sum of the Demange is precisely the sun of the deposit. The car didn’t have damages, so I expect Avis to prove it. Kayak has been a great tool to book the car. Thanks !

Great experience renting Avis through Kayak. Cheaper than direct, as was the insurance they suggested. Pick up/drop off at Barcelona airport was far less stressful than I imagined.

Cons:

Whoever put up the sign for return should be given a reality check. there was a sign but it was on a one way street and was facing the wrong direction. It could only been seen by driving by the entrance and then looking backwards to see it, not something that many people would do. We drove around the block (not easy to do) three times and until my wife got out and circled the block did she see the sign and direct me in. Place the sign so that you can see it while driving by.

I had to wait more than 60 min- to get the car and consequently missed my golf appointment. They did not tell me where to drop the car off. I went to the office but they directed me to the garage where i picked ud the car. They could have told that in advance. Then i HATE, HATE, HATE renting cars online and purchasing some assurance at the same time, but then at the counter I am being told that I have zero insurance and do I want to take that risk? I could potentially go banckrupt if anything happens with the car. Do you know how the locals drive.?? That is the biggest problem when one company is responsible for the sale and another for delivering the car. It is not servie it is pestering the customer. Stop doing it. Try to be rental companies and not insurance companies and change the f.... busines model. It is sick. !!!

Cons:

No response or indication of where to find this rental agency. We got lucky by one person knowing Hertz could help.

Have just flown home. The check out and in process was smooth but they did not look over the car when you take it or on return, they just advise you to take photos. Having just landed, I have received an email with a €750 charge for windscreen damage which was there when I took it (I have photos as advised). They have also charged for 1/2 a tank of fuel when I returned 3/4. It is going to be such a headache sorting it out. Really disappointed. Like a windscreen replacement even costs that much anyway!! Total rip off. AVOID

Random charge was added to my account from Record Go even though I paid for the service and insurance through Kayak. When I dropped off the car, I was told there would be no charge and that the contract was closed out. This is on top of the nearly $1,500 deposit that I had to put down while already having insurance through Kayak/Expedia.

Felt they were trying to push the expensive insurance. Wish the industry charged more and didn't hide other costs. car had damage and felt they would have blamed me if I didn't take photos of the car before I left. Not a nice experience for the customer.

I liked that RecordGo were in the main airport terminal. The car was ready and reasonably new (around 20K km and with Apple CarPlay) and RecordGo said they were only interested in scratches of more than 4cm. No fuss, all worked well and I enjoyed several hundred trouble-free km in the vehicle. Drop-off at the end was equally easy.

Nice, clean comfortable car. For some reason the pick up office in terminal 2 was closed for ten minutes as we arrived, but eventually the person working there arrived and we got our car.

Car broke down and took them one and half days for the problem to be resolved leaving my wife, two little kids and myself stranded in a 200 people town for two days and unable to enjoy the ski trip that we had booked and paid.

I was contacted after returning the car that there was a dent in the car. In fact there was a scratch at it was noted on the record upon pickup. Only after producing a full video of the car with existing damage was the charged apparently dropped but without any courtesy email or apology.

The Staff was not friendly was late for 30 minutes because he went to eat & tried to Fool me to get an expensive car without insurance instead of Smart that was initially of agreement. The only good guy was the parking Guy. Initially I had booked a 4 doors car, then a smart and then a BMW

They Could not be late root and good inform me before I go there that there is no car as the one agreed! Worst experience ever!

We booked an electric car and the cable provided in the car didn't work at any of the charging stations, so we were the whole time more concerned about running out of electricity than enjoying the trip.

1. there are not much time to drive in Barcelona in 3days. public transportation looks better for traveler. 2. inferior surface of front bumper scar which was charged 180 euros for me There is an unfair aspect of charging for scratches on the lower part of the vehicle. When the vehicle was first delivered, a 360-degree video was taken, but the lower structure of the vehicle bumper was not taken. When I was charged for the lower scratch of the front bumper, I felt a lot of unfairness.

Cons:

It was difficult to return a car as all roads around were closed due to reconstruction. I would expect customer service to tell it upfront and explicitly say that I have to drive in against traffic.

Pros:

Reserved a mercedes class a and got a misearable opel. Dont understand why. 15 min of argue didnt help. Talking to a brick wall is better. Bas treatment at dropp off point. They tried to claim that an old little scratch was caused by me.

You promised a car in the contract and you didnt provide it. Very disappointing expirience

I was given the car with only half a tank and the person that took care of us told us he would note that it only had half a tank so that we wouldn't have to be return it like that. He said he would take down those notes however we were still charged for refueling and for the gas.

Overall very good experience, great value, only negatives were they tried to soft upsell the car and coverage but weren’t forceful when I declined. At pick up the car had dings and missing spare tire (and no personnel around when you get the car, you just walk to it from the terminal) but they did not try to charge us for it upon return. Would rent there again.

Terrible experience. They start by asking - your first time with the Company (weird question to ask everybody) - but I now understand why, This has to be your first time, as it will be your last time. Company and Staff misleading you at every turn. I've never received such out of the blue fees. Terrible, terrible experience. I would not recommend my enemy to waste time and money with ClickRent.

STAY AWAY THEY ARE THIEVES Pickup: Had to wait 90 mins for my car with no AC with my toddler. They were nasty. Was over 95 degrees. Drop off: sand in car (didn’t realize I had to drop it off spotless) so they told me I was gonna be charged €100 to clean then saw they charged me 165€ to clean and about 400€ for damage when there was NO DAMAGE!! Overall: WORST EXPERIENCE
