Cons:

The van I was going to rent had a tiny dent in it. I simply did not want to be responsible for the dent so I pointed it out to the rental agent. They would not rent me the van with the small dent and chose to grab a different van from the lot which had recently been turned in and had me wait over 20 minutes while they “detailed” that van. I took that van, which was clearly detailed in a hurry, and found used napkins, grocery bags, crumbs, etc inside it. I’m a father of three and not super picky. But that’s Not exactly what one hopes to find in a rental vehicle, especially during COVID.

Staff was very friendly and helpful, despite the line and other rude customers.

Cons:

I wish someone would have told me that they weren't open on Sundays. I had to take a picture of me dropping off the keys in case there was a dispute. I also don't like that the car is still my responsibility even after I drop it off at their lot.

Cons:

Reserved online for 3 days, but was told at pick up that I had to pay for an extra day, since their office wasn’t open on the day I had reserved to return it. Nothing mentioned online when I booked it for 3 days.. that I couldn’t return it on the 3rd day. WTF? When I tried to get an explanation, was told, “sorry, you could have returned it after 2days if you wanted.” I needed it for 3, their lack of staffing, resulted in mandatory extra day rental for me and no notice until I picked it up.. really bad.

We love using Enterprise, we especially love the staff at the Murray location.

Cons:

Honestly, nothing. The car drove great, it was a great price, the staff is wonderful, very easy-in and out, no stress.

Pros:

The staff was great. They got me in and out within minutes. The rental was as good as the higher priced competitor I used the week before and was just over half the price. I rented the car in the middle of a winter storm and they made sure they marked that they were unable to clean it (their water source was frozen solid) so that I was not charged for cleaning.

Cons:

I was unaware that the engine would stop at to conserve energy. Something that would notify me of that would have been nice. I was worried the whole drive that the vehicle was going to break down. When I mentioned it at drop off they told me that was a fuel saving feature.

Cons:

If you book within 24-48 hours of your rental they don't guarantee a car will be available. I showed up at 11am, there was one receptionist and literally 14 people waiting in line ahead of me. I walked out and fortunately was able to get a car at a different rental place.

Cons:

Was for PDX airport pick up...but ended up at another location in Portland... 3 times as expensive...Avis indicated this happens all the time. Used someone else and will never use this service again.

They tried to rip me off! didn't provide me with a damage for the existent damage and the employee said will provide it latter but I took pictures before I use the vehicle. Now they are saying the car never been damaged and I have to be charged for the old damages as according to their system the car never been damaged and the vehicle year is 2021! I disputed it and sent my proves but it is very poor management and it is stress and anxiety no needs for me to go through I put down a cheaper options to be with reputable company but National/Enterprise prove me wrong.

I never got a car. They said that if the reservation was made less than 24 hours before there were no cars available. Get it together.... don't set up your system to allow reservations if there are no cars available. It reminds me of airlines overbooking flights.

Highly disappointed with this company, this company decides that they are above the federal law and will not accept cash as occurrency. And you're only option is to follow whatever they want otherwise you cannot take a car and all of your holiday will be ruined.

The only negative was the windshield wipers. The right side one was, the rubber was falling offf and the left one left a streak in my field of view. Bur overall, it was a great experience.

The night before they were going to take my credit (chime credit not bank) . My son was stuck in Florida with his four year old. They wouldn’t rent it me, my. Ex husband went with exact same kind of card. And they rented go figure!

Zero customer service through dollar and kayak both. Basically got screwed out of my rental. So I paid for nothing. Crazy this was my third rental in two weeks through kayak and have many more to rent but will never use your services again

Until the rental car industry drastically shortens the time from the time one walks up to the rental counter until pickup of the vehicle, I for one will not be happy with the pickup procedure. The return was quick and excellent. I was not aware of understood the breakdown of the final bill.

The car I rented was not fully cleaned inside or out, there was nowhere to make damages on the vehicle prior to rental. The gas tank was only filled to 3/4 when I received it.

Payless has great customer service for the situation we were out in. The insurance prices are crazy but at the end of the day it wasn’t Payless fault. This is a country requirement that we did understand prior to booking. The pick up was easy and Luis was great!! Drop off was simple as well and super friendly. Car was cleaned when we picked up and that was appreciated.

The check-in process took forever. It was a large line and at the beginning the attendance. Chatting among each other, Delaying the process. Finally, a young man came in. And checked in as many people as the previous to attendance did together. I’ve been to this car rental before, and it brought a memory of the last time we experience the same thing. Very frustrating.

I prepaid for my car only to get to the counter and wait for just under an hour. Once assigned a car, I again waited because I was then told my car was double booked. I finally got a car, and it was a great car. However, after turning it in on time I was charged for 3 additional days because they had me down as driving a completely different car. Definitely will Pay More next time and rent from someone else.

Getting from baggage claim to Payless terminal had to stand in long lines to get on the bus. The customer service agent was very nice and friendly. We ended up getting an electric car, but never told us about what charging stations we could use being not familiar with that type of electric car and where the charging stations were a big problem wasted a lot of time during our driving experience, trying to find chargers that would work.

Payless always comes through, the pickup and dropoff process is fast and easy never any issue.. The payless cars are very updated and reliable, the price is always affordable and the deposit is always given back as soon as you drop it off, no extra charges or fees.. I highly recommend them, been using them for the past 3 yrs everytime i travel and not 1 issue..
