Pros:This is the third time I used Budget / Avis. Avis scammed me twice in a row so I went with Budget this time. Turns out they have the same policies and employees so bait and swap!!!!Cons:If they didn’t keep downgrading me AND CHARGING MORE for a DOWNGRADE! They say they are sold out. Felt robbedPros:The car was good. The customer support lady was great and she gave us a refund on the mistakes they made with us.Cons:The desk clerk, we was not clear and was no willing to explain why we did not get what we reserved. They did not accept debit card because it is Electron. They wanted 2 credit cards to complete the contract. They didn't accept the Allianz car insurance and we had to pay extra for their own insurance. They gave us a smaller category and kept the same rate. The Said their fuel was cheaper and it wasn't. Took another half hour to swap for another car, but also had a leaky tire that we didn't find out about until we left. Had to keep putting air in it. Do Not Use Budget Rental in Rome!Pros:The vehicle was clean, comfortable and large enough for our bags +5 people.Cons:The individual I meet when picking up my car from the Budget Rental Car in Rome was dishonest, deceitful, and offensive.When I arrived it was as if I hadn't booked my vehicle already online and was told my car I already booked wasn't available, the price would be $800+ more and that I was required to upgrade my insurance.
