I thought I had the car rented for 7:30AM - but did not get there until 8:09. The counter gal pulled up aside of me with the same car I rented while I was sitting there - shortly after 8AM. As there was no one at the counter, the sign said to call a number which I did. Whoever answered told me they had been trying to call me at my cell number. The phone was laying on the seat beside me, and there was no call history regarding these 'calls'. He told me the car wouldn't be available until 10AM, or later...even though it obviously was sitting there. I needed to be in OKC that day - then let it sit for 2.5hrs. Obvious they didn't wash it - because it was dirty when I got in it. No clue what was going on with it. I even drove to Enterprise in-between. Had they had a car, I would have been gone, and the car could have just sat there. But they didn't. The last time I rented from the airport, the guy was pissed I rented off the NET at a lower price, and instead of giving me the car I rented - which would have been a Camry, he decided I needed to drive a Nissan about the size of a butter box. I also was going to OKC at that time. I drove it. No clue how the motor stayed in it - but I drove it. Figured if I blew it up, at least I would have gotten what I wanted in the first place. I will try my best never to rent from Waterloo Airport again. This is just bullshit.Reviewed Jun 28 2022

There number at office go’s to vm and no check out to mark cars damage. I booked it before but it was not ready when I got there had to come back the next day. Horrible experience. I’ll only use enterprise like I should have.Reviewed Aug 2 2021

Pros:The car itself was fine, even though it was clear that someone had smoked in it at some point.Cons:I should have looked at the paperwork more carefully, to be sure, but the tank was only 3/4 full when we got the car and the rental agreement said that it was full, so I had to fill the tank. Serviceable but Reeked of Cigarette SmokePros:The was a fairly quick pick-up at the airport with no major complications, though the customer service agent was a little curt. The car worked as promised, though I did think it would have cruise control and it did not.Cons:This car was very stinky, clearly one that a lot of cigarettes had been smoked in. After driving for an hour to my destination, then three hours to another, my clothes and luggage already reeked and I was getting a headache. Great service, affordable pricePros:We were snowed in in Iowa, our flight cancelled. Budget not only had a terrific car available---amazing, given the number of cancelled flights--but available at a reasonable price. No worries about them jacking up the price to take advantage of us stranded travelers! Also their counter person in Waterloo was very kind and helpful to us.
