Cons:I was given a car that was supposed to have GPS, but did not! Had to get through crazy busy Frankfurt Airport traffic to return car. Then had to take elevator back to Budget counter. The agent gave me a TomTom to use. We returned to car, pulled out of parking garage so we could get a signal to program TomTom. The TomTom could not hold a charge, and shut off after 30 seconds. We tried several times, returned again, took the elevator, made the trek to the rental counter again. This time the agent gave us another car with built-in GPS and we took off. However these screwups cost two hours out of a very short stay in Germany which really messed us up. On top of all this, I now see that the contract for the second car had the cost for tank of gas added ( it's the old "you can return with an empty tank" deal-which no body ever does), which I declined when I was at the counter initially. And, when I returned the car, the attendant practically had her nose up against the car looking for any damage to add to the charges. She tried to get me on a supposedly missing cover on the bolt of the rear wiper which was never there, but they backed down when I made a fuss. I suspect it is SOP to try to find a damage when a tourist returns the car. STAY AWAY from Budget/Avis In Frankfurt!
