Drop off in Chicago was excellent. Very friendly agents. Lexington pick up experience was not very friendly or helpful. The car had not been remotely cleaned between rentals. There was bottle caps, receipts, straws and the previous renters paperwork were all across the passenger seat and center console area. Didn’t want to walk all the way back to counter inside to complain. There was no one in the garage area to address this with. Car also had significant dent to back spoiler that was not noted ahead of rental

Sent us out into a dark night, raining to wander around looking for our car that was not very close to office. A map showing where to find our car / or a person to direct would have been helpful.

Horrible, had to wait on a line for two hours at LGA airport just to be told the size vehicle I had a prepaid reservation for was not available. They had run out of 7 passenger vans prior to my reservation time.

pickup staff was very slow moving as a line built up. Once I had registered for the prepaid car, I went to the retrieval area where I waited 20 minutes before a car was provided, and that only thanks to the Asian woman (I don't know her name) who was getting people to their cars. Drop off, on the other hand, took < 1 minute.

I went to rent the car and the person told me that for some reason I have been black listed and cannot rent the car. I told them that Budget just gave me a car on rent two weeks ago, payment was taken from my credit card without any issue. They still refused to rent one. I went to Enterprise which is next door, got the SUV and went home.

The drop off was fine in Detroit. The shuttle from the airport to the Budget office was greatly delayed so there were many of us waiting for quite a long time. The pick up was the worst experience ever for renting a car. There were over 50 people in line and the line continued outside in the rain and cold. I was more in the front of the line, which took an hour to get service. The employees were doing their best but the problem was there were no cars. They had to wait until a car came in, got cleaned before it was ready. I didn't get the car that I had reserved but got another car of higher value for the same price. I was saying yes to the option because the wait was cutting into my trip. I can only imagine the others with families having to wait and wait. I probably won't go through Budget-Avis ever again.
