You over charged me
Cons: I showed up to the Budget office on Post St in San Francisco an hour early. I figured it wouldn't be a big deal, and if they had my car ready that I would just start my trip a little earlier than planned. I asked if I could pick my car up early when I arrived and the lady at the front desk said sure thing. However, they didn't have the original car in stock... they had a full size car available and it was going to be about $10-15 more... I said no problem. She then took down my info and I left with the car. When I dropped the car off she said it's going to be $300... I said that's more than I expected. We went through the receipt and found a $95 charge for picking up the car a hour early!!! This was not disclosed to me when picking up. Had I known, I would have gladly and patiently waited an hour to pick up my car at the original time. I was not in a rush to drive the car early, and wasn't aware of your early pickup fees. Then I tried calling the customer service line and was hung up on twice (probably due to high demand during the holidays). I need this sorted out. I planned on using Budget to rent a car in two weeks but now I may need to go with a more reliable and consistent company

Pros: Good cars. Although I would have received an older car. At least your representative told me. And she helped me upgrade to an affordable and more presentable car. Great value for the rental. Nice staff. Easy to pick up car and drop off.
Cons: Hidden fees. Returned car with full tank, yet I have to provide proof that I filled the tank in order to get reimbursed for the "prepay gas tank" I initially paid for during my pick up date. These things make it inconvenient for your customers. Especially at an airport, where your desk is busy. A flyer cannot just go to your counter and spend time getting a refund. This is NOT normally accounted for during trip plans. So please, make the necessary adjustments to accommodate your customers. These small but headache causing issues have skewed my thinking and experience with Budget. I don't think they'll be my first consideration next time I have to rent a car for business or pleasure.
