9.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, convenient, and I will be back
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was great! Staff friendly and helpful. Clean, inviting atmosphere was visible from the moment you entered the door. Great spacious parking lot. Bar was great. The room was clean and was furnished nicely. Bed and pillows were top notch.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location (Close to elon and easy on and off highway.). Clean comfy and nice people
Cons: Walls are a little thin and can hear people next door.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were in town for a funeral with a pet and requested an early check in. The staff was more than accomadating and our check in was wonderful. Front desk was very helpful and the food & beverage staff was very kind. The manager was giving out drinks during the reception and could not have been more friendly. We were honestly shocked with the experience and we travel very frequently.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast and Happy hour were fantastic! the only big issue is that they use only disposable silverware, plates and cups. It is time for things like that to stop.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! This hotel is exceptional in every way. The staff are courteous, quick and attentive. The manager Mike (I think that was his first name) Mahoney was outstanding. We were in town due to a death in our family. Everyone made our staff the best that it could have been, given the circumstances. The breakfast bar was great well stocked and super clean. The staff was attentive while we were eating, making sure each guest was happy. But the evening complimentary bar with two drinks from 5:30-7:00 was a lifesaver. By the time we were back at the hotel the evening set up was brilliant. Every hotel should offer this service! The soup, salad, hot dogs (not for me), popcorn, bake potato bar, plus pasta and chicken fingers one night and a taco bar the other night served as dinner after a grueling day where we were just too tired to go out to dinner. The food was tasty and plentiful. It was really a nice touch. Again, the staff was incredibly attentive. Please remember to tip your bartender as they don’t have a tip jar but are allowed to have tips. We will be staying at the Drury over the next year or so while we work out our families estate. Also, the surrounding area within walking distance has about every amenity one could want in terms of food, fun (the cinema) and shopping needs. I was well surprised at what a nice town Burlington and the surrounding areas like Mebane and Graham were. Definitely check out the historic district of Mebane for great antiquing, art, shopping and food. Graham was like stepping back in time with quaint soda shops, a made by hand bakery and many other cute eateries right by the courthouse.
Cons: Nothing everything was truly exceptional. The only thing that could be improved upon possibly is the variety of the breakfast bar and evening food assortment. We were there for 4 days and it seemed as though certain days get certain dishes but still all was edible and helped us out !
9.6 Excellent

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Acorn Inn is the perfect spot for access to Elon U and the coffee shops/restaurants in the little town. Super friendly, welcoming staff, easy parking. Suite style room is very spacious, the bed is cozy. Wish there were a bit more natural light but due to the layout, that's not possible. Breakfast was delicious with options of fruit, yogurt, pastries, bagels, and eggs if you want (they may be extra). Nice area to sit outside. Cookies, popcorn available all day. Sometimes tough to get reservations given its size, and pricier than some of the options in Burlington, but well worth it!

6.0 Good
Pros: Proximity to the college
Cons: Yes. They put a hold on a credit card I did not want to use and won’t release it even though the room is now paid for in full. They should never charge a card before verifying or charge twice. They front desk staff was unfriendly and unhelpful when
4.2 Okay
Pros: The location
Cons: The price, paid USD 1366.00 for 4 nights for a less than average property. The price per night was ridiculously high due to the fact that it was move in weekend at Elon University, a rip off, and on top of this crazy price, you were not allowed to cancel any night. This was truly a very poor Hilton experience, as due to an unforeseen incident with regard to my son’s student visa affecting our travel date, we were unable to check in on the arrival date, however had to pay for the full 4 nights while we only stayed 2 nights. No consideration whatsoever, very disappointing to say the least.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We like the studio king room, because it has a loveseat. It allows a couple to relax and watch TV together. Also, the breakfast was delicious and the breakfast area was spotless.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: When checking in we met w/hotel employee and he was the BEST from the start right up to the end!! Smiling, friendly and so accommodating! You have 1 heck of an employee! Each time we passed the lobby and if he was working always a big hi with a smile
Cons: My family rented 10 rooms & after the wedding on Saturday wish there was a room we could have used for everyone to hang out in. We were offered 1 for 45 min but we couldn't eat or drink in it.
6.7 Good
Pros: The beds were nice. The upgraded bathroom was nice. The breakfast was good. The staff was super friendly and helpful.
Cons: The couch/ sofa bed was dingy and broken down. The mini fridge dial was missing. The room just had a dingy feel to it with old lamps and stained floor.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Close enough to Elon University which we needed When we checked to see if a better room was available since we were unhappy with room, the desk clerk was very understanding and helpful. She showed us another room but it was just as bad so kept room we were in. Bed was pretty comfortable
Cons: Run-down rooms. Plastic lamp shade had cracked areas; nightlight in bathroom had exposed wires and dangling light; sofa bad was laughable—sagging in middle and dirty looking. Stayed 2 nights and gave housekeeper $10 tip first night—despite that, not all towels were replenished, empty tissue box not replaced and TP not replaced; ice bucket not emptied and drinking cups not replenished. Price was high for what we got. Paid $200+ a night, but I understand all hotels jack up prices for college move-in days.
6.3 Good
Pros: great location for what we were in town for. pretty close to everything. The staff at the counter was very accommodating to our early arrival, that was great!
Cons: staff wasn't too friendly but they were nice though. Both rooms we booked, the couches in them were stained and nasty looking. TV was not user friendly, couldn't watch tv at all. The 1st room we got had a broken door lock.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was clean. The breakfast was good. The room was nice.
Cons: The tv in the room where the breakfast was served was not working and the lady at the front counter said it has not been working for s while.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was very nice. The pool was a nice perk although it closed at 8pm leaving us only 20min to swim after a long drive. Breakfast was good. I like the blueberry waffle option. Most places only have plain waffle mix. Having a cart to help carrt ourstuff to our 3rd floor room was very appreciative.
Cons: Pool was only open till 8pm and the hot tub wasnt working. Coffee tasted horrible and i love all kinds of coffee. Breakfast didnt have many choices for my gluten free daughter to eat. Bananas were green and the oranges were moldy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The beds are very comfortable. Easy access to restaurants near by. Great location.
7.1 Good
Pros: the sofa bed was not comfy
Cons: location
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was satisfactory. Coffee was good. Rhonda, the desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. She had great suggestions on places to dine within a short distance of the hotel.
Cons: The toilet was not working properly. I had to flush several times... very annoying. The air conditioning wasn't working properly either. No matter the temperature setting, the room was warm. For the price, the value missed the mark.

6.7 Good
Pros: It was convenient and bed was decently comfortable...
Cons: The room was tiny and very outdated... the bathroom was rundown and not cleaned well... you could see lime scale stains everywhere and the finishings were cracked and yellow from years of use... similar in the the room and there was dust on higher parts where I'm guessing cleaning ladies can't reach so don't even bother... breakfast was very bed too with stale buns and very limited choice...
5.0 Okay

Cons: Ants in the room, thumping all night in to the early morning hours from up above Customer service lacking not very friendly or inviting

5.0 Okay
Pros: It was close to JR Cigar

Pros: Yess the bed was great
Cons: Didnt dislike nothing everything was great
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: I am a disabled Korean War veteran 84 Years old, with a wife close behind me. There was only one chair in the room and the staff would not provide another. While the flashing sign outside cried Ice there was a relic machine that had not seen service in years. Motel 6 down hill fast!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The price was ok for what I we got, it was a clean room and bath and a place to spend the night. I have not seen an over night motel this clean in awhile and I hope even though its new renovations you keep up the cleanliness...
Cons: I know there is renovation, our room was completed. I was told no mini frig. right now and that was fine. Room & bath was very clean. Short comings: soap was a joke too small, no shampoo, no rails to hang cloths, tv remote was a pain, no ice bucket, no facial tissue, no blow dryer, main room door had a gap underneath that allows air and pests and or mice to enter if they should desire, sides of door not weather stripped and only one chair. Know you are trying to keep cost down but.. these things matter to most all of the travelers. I hope this helps....Bruce
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: There we lost a of roaches and the room need looked like the sheets had never been changed
4.6 Okay
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: There was nothing in room. No coffee pot. No ashtrays, no hanging space, no tv info, not enough pillows, etc. Worse, no ice machine. Worst, door was broken and stuck. Manager said it would be fixed quickly. It wasn't. Won't ever stay here again.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: NOTHING
Cons: The person at the desk was uncarring; no WiFi as described in the description, had I known, I would chosen another hotel; place was empty & we were put on the top floor to lug our suit cases up the uneven broken stairs; was put in a room with NO number on the door; when I called 2 times about the WiFi, was told that was all they could do, NO WiFi. The tv went out, I called & it took them forever to answer my call, with they are working on it. The place was nasty. I would never recommend this to anyone. Ever. So sorry I stayed.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: When I wrote this review and checked out.
Cons: The place was disgusting. People smoking in their room and it's coming thru the walls. The bathroom had mold in the shower, urine on the walls and floors. Worst experience if ever paid for. I would never stay here again. They need to refund my money, you couldn't pay me nor give me a free room to stay here again.

5.0 Okay
Pros: I had never been there before but chose it because of its close proximity to the airport where I had meetings Saturday and Sunday.
Cons: I was constantly killing small black ants. They were everywhere, literally! Even IN and on the bed.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: It had alot of room
Cons: Only two very little pillows. It seemed very nice in the pictures very different in person . No WI-FI . The woman who was working that evening wasn't very nice to be in a customer service type role.
7.1 Good
Pros: Price was why I chose it, but I've been in hotels that didn't cost much more that I'd rather stay in.
Cons: It was mostly clean but they need to do minor repairs and update some things. This will probably not be my first choice in the future!

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: N/A
Cons: Shower caulk was moldy. Floors were dirty/dusty. Lamps were unplugged - had to love the entire bed to plug in. When bed was moved saw remnants of insects. Hotel stopped serving continental breakfast in november 2016. Listing should be updated to reflect
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Room Size & Cleanliness from looks outside.
Cons: Exterior Doors were unlocked allowing anyone to gain access to building. People were standing in hallways & outside the entry doors. Towels were visible outside room doors stuffed to keep the gaps closed. Window locks were broken & could be opened from outside.
7.1 Good
Pros: The pool was clean and stayed open til 10.
Cons: If you need a place to stay last minute and don't care go for it.
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: The room had a not fresh smell.the plug in the bathroom didn't work. The entrance was not kept. The hall smelled and needs to be updated. The ice machine had mold. WE SLEPT IN OUR CLOTHING AND USED A MY TRAVEL BLANKET TO LAY HEADS ON
Cons: Will never ever return.
4.6 Okay
Pros: I liked the distance it was from where I needed to go
Cons: I was woke up by giant cockroach crawling on my face and I had killed one the night before I guess this one wanted revenge and the chair in room needs to be destroyed. sheets and 2pillow cases looked nasty. Room also came with a dead roach on the bed.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location and price.
Cons: The property look run-down, Put carpet on the floors were in bad shape. I saw dead roaches on the floor. The security key card swipes on every exit door from the parking lot were broken and hanging off the frame, so anyone could enter the floors from the parking lot making security non existent. The exit door from the first floor to the rear parking lot had a roll off garbage holder full of garbage right next to the door. The rear and side parking lot had grass growing in some spots. The walls in my room had different color spots bleeding through the white paint. The towels were old and dingy looking. I am use to having a continental breakfast, there was none. Not important though. My overall impression of the place on a scale of 1 to 10 would be a 1. It looks like the building was previously closed Down and someone just put a red roof sign on the building and open it up for business.
5.4 Okay
Pros: It was quiet for the most part. The front desk staff was very nice.
Cons: The room was not clean. The floor was very dusty and got the bottom of my feet very dirty. The room was in poor condition and absolutely nothing like the room pictured for this site. Over all I was very disappointed in the room because it was far below the standard for Red Roof In and the hall had a very peculiar smell like mothballs. The out side of the building around the entrance was really nasty looking and unkept. .

Pros: Bed was very comfortable, and felt safe.

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Maria, the manager was very nice. As was the maintenance man. They were trying to make the best of unfortunate situation.
Cons: The overall condition of the property is terrible. The only reason we stayed was due to it being one of three rooms left in the area due to students returning to Elon, so all others were sold out and we had a death in our family. If you do get stuck staying make sure to wear your shoes at all times as the floors are filthy. When we arrived in our non smoking, superior King room the bedspread has to be changed as there were cigarette burns on it... soooo gross. The tv didn’t work and there was a broken rolling chair again with cigarette burns all over it. After a few hours we were able to get a new chair and bedding. When I turned on the light in the bathroom it flickered like a strobe light which brought on the feeling of a possible seizure as I have a brain injury and am subject to strobing. The maintenance man tried to fix it and got it slowed down a bit but I had to use my phone flashlight in the bathroom instead of turning on the light. The surrounding area was littered with trash, butts and I found two syringes while walking my service animal. Just beware before you go and bring disinfectant.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location was it's best asset and the staff tried very hard to accommodate the challenges of dealing with bed bugs found in our hotel room after the first night.
Cons: We found bed bugs in our room and in the bed. We had to move our room late night at about midnight to another room. But by then we were sop paranoid of sleeping with the light son that we ended up experiencing a terrible night of sleep
5.8 Okay
Pros: I wouldn't stay there again. We booked it for the price Halls smelled of smoke, and place felt seedy
Cons: Didn't feel comfortable no phone in room no info on how to use TV didn't feel safe

2.5 Mediocre
Pros: There was nothing about that hotel that I liked, that was one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in. The so called breakfast that they served sucked. I would never stay there again.
Cons: Everything could be better, there is nothing good there. When you ask for a wake up call at 5:00 a.m. you should get it at 5:00 a.m. not at 5:45 a.m.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The breakfast buffet.
Cons: The room door lock was broken, the bed sheets had cigarette burns in them, the hall smelled terrible, and the outside doors did not lock. Also the bathroom had mildew and mold growing on the walls and ceiling.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Affordable and close to Elon U. Nothing else. The water was hot in the shower. The towels were clean.
Cons: This place was the filthiest hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The walls, carpets were filthy. The sheets on the bed probably hadn’t been washed in days or weeks. It smelled like smoke. I was itchy all night long. It was horrifying. I scrubbed myself hard the next morning, threw my pajamas in the trash can and got out as quickly as possible. The place should be condemned.
5.0 Okay
Cons: The towels smelled like cigarette smoke even though I was in a non smoking room, there was constant noise from people running up and down the hallway, and the breakfast area got broken into during my stay.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: It was super dirty under bed under dress looked like it had never been cleaned mold (black) in shower and random spots on walls smelt funny in the room mini fridge freeze was nothing but a giant ice block the door wouldnt shut on it.
2.9 Mediocre
Cons: It was dirty and it had roaches
7.5 Good
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I got ate up by bug or spider. Tub was molded and trash was behind the nightstand and bed. And baseboard was dirty.
6.7 Good
Pros: The room was clean and the bed was comfortable.
Cons: There were bed bugs. I made a complaint to the front desk. Showed her the marks on my arm. Her response was, she would pass the message along to the manager. And he would reach out to Orkin at his convenience and after they inspect the property. If anything is found they will issue a refund. But until then no refund or accommodations would be given. I ended up submitting pictures and speaking with the corporate office.
4.6 Okay
Pros: location
Cons: bed sheets seemed to be old. Woke up one morning with insect bites on both arms. Not sure where they came from. Checked mattress but didn't see any signs of bugs. Bottom sheet did have stains. The television remote was very difficult to operate. Was told you had to press very hard to change channels. Tried it but it only worked periodically, was very frustrating.
7.0 Good
Pros: Room had microwave and refrigerator. Decorated attractively
Cons: Seemed that room had been cleaned with straight Clorox, so strong at first that it almost made our eyes water. Smell subsided some but was never even close to gone. Refrigerator made noise all night. We should have asked for different room. Husband slept till 4:00 bc he couldn’t hear frig. I slept 3 hours. We left at 4:30 am
4.2 Okay
Pros: Other than that it was a OK stay
Cons: Some of the workers whom live there gives the hotel a not so pleasant stay when I say workers I mean one in particular up stairs she knows whom this concerns
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: This was the WORST place I have stayed in 30+ years! It was dirty everywhere, the room smelled of extreme smoke and cat urine mixed with heat. There wasn’t even a bathmat for the shower. Paint and wallpaper peeling, fixtures falling out of the wall, bathroom wasn’t even clean! I understand the you get what you pay for I needed a place to stay while I dropped my child off for college and I did book it in June and most other hotels were full. I could have gone back to front desk and complained after seeing room but I had just driven 14 hours and just wanted a shower and bed!
