Friendly reception staff, very comfortable, quiet room and excellent service package. Staff can be very inflexible at times (just not used to the Western way of doing things) and very stingy with alcohol in drinks. Alcohol is very expensive.
Every staff member was very hospitable, helpful and honoring of each of our family members. Amazing service.
excellent Staff the likes of Magdoline, Mohamed and the rest of the team internet or sever disconnection challenges atleast once or twice but there was an alternative
very nice stuff. There was some little noise in corridors.
the complimentary drinks all the day the hotel doesn't come close to its 5* rating! the rooms are all thesame size, whether single or double or triple!! for the triple they just added an extra bed. Therefore, cramped space! breakfast menu is the same daily. The staff in the dining room has this one thing on their minds- clear the table ASAP!
services, cleanliness, comfort Too far from the center
Very nice heath spa, sauna etc. Charming and helpful staff It was further from the city centre than I expected; but conveniently close to Cairo Intl Airport
Beautifull hotel with very comfortabel rooms and beds. Rooms with poolview are very nice. When we were there a musicband was playing every night. If you like that it is fun, otherwise can be disdurbing. Staff was more willing to handle things about the room and bills with my husband instead me. One time they did not accept me signing a bill without my husbands autograph.
Staff - well trained, responsive. Evidence of good professional management. A bit expensive, but a comfortable stay
Very nice garden area and classic look. Good lebanese restaurant and excellent steaks at the Italian restaurant: you can chose different menues form the garden area which is elegant in the evening. Free shuttle but to the airport every hour. Good and clean fitness centre. I have been there for about 15 times this year, they never upgrade the points on my alitalia card despite many complaints.
i was very relaxed at the morning but at the evening it is very noisy and crowded i love this old building, the choice of the staff is perfect,it is very neer to the airport more than i expect the booking at the start was difficult it ap.that ther is no exp with net booking
it is calm, clean and the hall is big which makes you feel comfortable rooms are not 5 stars.. bathrooms are very very old.. the TV is horrible and old
The spacious room, the attending staff, the general cleanliness..
5-star quality hotel. Excellent staff, beautiful and spacious rooms, all amenities in place. In short: one of the very best hotels I have ever stayed in. And I am a worldwide business traveller for 15 years now.
Great rooms and amenities!
The staff responsible for cleaning the rooms, made too much noise outside that one is not able to sleep after 8 am. Second, the airport shuttle that was supposed to be on time, did not show up for 30 min and I had to take a taxi. The reception staff were informed that I was not glad about both situations. I hope my next visit will not encounter such incidents, especially I am a member of the President Club. Best Regards.
The presence of so many restaurants and a good bar. However the music was too loud sometimes to have a good business talk The music in the bar was sometimes too loud
The atmosphere, the luxury and care that is afforded to guests.
the place was nice and details were all payed attention too. very nice hotel. I didn't like the check in process. neither desk (the main hotel or the towers) had my reservation nor could they find it. I had to pull out my computer to show them the reservatoins. I had the worst Cashew Chicken I had ever had in my life. the Pizza and the Shashimi was good but the Cashew Chicken was the worst I ever had in any countyry.
welcoming and helpful staff
it has big lobby and many restaurants the charge me for using business room and for printing and copy machine were very ecpensive
The rooms were clean and modern. Public areas were attractive. Although 1 of our 2 rooms was non-smoking, there was smoke odour. The other non-smoking room next door was fine.
Everything was wonderful.... and the staff was very very polite and helpful!
staff were excellent and amenities ideal for family or business Sports bar was excellent Asian restaurant exquisite I would recommend anyone to stop off and as in terminal three very easy and secure maybe a taxi service that is not limousine and the desk not being able to call a taxi for my friend. Not everyone requires limousine to travel around Provide an alternative?
The proximity to the airport. The hotel staff were dishonest and unreliable.
Nothing. Staff was not helpful - had to take a taxi to the hotel due to no shuttle availability. We had to load our own bags on to a very high scanning belt even though it was just my daughter and I - no one from the bell staff offered to help - they just stood there!! Sheets were dirty. Carpet in the room was filthy. Bathroom was reasonably clean. Lighting was dismal. We had to leave the hotel at 3:30 a.m. for our flight but the shuttle was late by 10 mnutes. I will never recommend this hotel to anyone!!
staff room service is not as expected
We liked the locality near to airport because we spent only one night waiting for the conection from Dar to Munic. Very nice was also overall feeling. We did not like the tiping asked for everything. Tip is for some extra service but people in Egypt are used to ask for everything and all the time even for service which we already payed reguler (and not so cheep) price. But this is not a problem of Novotel but Egypt in general.
it was very very close to the airport which is what i wanted first time in Egypt and i dont think they get quality service and hotels. The hotel was tired in its decor and fittings especially the bedrooms although relatively clean. Price was too much but with its pretentions and location fair i guess although i know that egypt relatively is a cheap place. Food was not good and overpriced.
I liked that it was close to the airport. I found the hotel disappointing for the amount of money I paid, in addition to the fact that they charged 27 dollars for internet. The shuttle bus was an hour and a half late in picking me up and the complimentary drink and snack I was meant to receive because of this delay took over four hours.
Location. I had a stop over in Cairo and need to find a hotel which is close to the airport. It was the closest and most reasonable one. I asked for non-smoking room and there was a sing of "non-smoking" room on a door but the smell of cigarettes was awful!
The room we stayed was clean and nice. The hallway was a little bit dark. The taxi desk offered only expensive tours even though we wanted to have a simple ride to the pyramids. We had to negotiate with taxi drivers in front of the hotel for 30 minites. They tried to get as much money as they could from us, so it took long time to start.
Efficient airport transfer. No check out necessary for early morning flight. Entertainment in restaurant area was too loud. Price could be keener.
Location, facilities, Internet access
Actually I stayed in the Fairmont Towers not heliopolis but they are both the same. The best thing about this hotel is that its design is very contemporary and progressive and very well maintained. They lack flexible car rental deals. They have a few agreements with some providers but they are extremely expensive and for certain level of cars (bmw, Mercedes) its mandatory to take it with a driver which further increases the daily rate.
Wel situated near the airport, a lot of different restrorans inside, different types of quisine I booked "pool view", but never received it, I ve got view on the roof. No option with breakfest included
Large range food options - swimming pools excellent
The disk know nothing, inexperienced management.
very near to the airport so good for transit very slow house keeper
air conditioning bad attitude staff, they charge for parking, room is not clean
parking is very expansive it shall be free its more than the rate of the room too hours cost you 50 $
Everything. My fourth stay in the last two months, and for the price it is an excellent hotel with shared facilities at the Fairmont Towers to which it is connected.
resturants were good, and the swiming pools are also ok the staff are not good also you don't feel tehre is a privacy in your room
It was clean and convenient. I did not like that I was charged more than the rate I had booked. They do not seem to have your reservation! It is very frustrating to be told that you have to pay pay extra as they do not know booking.com.
Accessibility to Airport Very poor hot water supply to the room
Breakfast Buffet and the Staff over there very very friendly.no disturbing at all from the ground staff. First and for second time they give the wrong room not like I did Book like wise King size Bed.!and at hte end they give me the real one//..
The proximity of the airport, which is juste a five minutes drive away, the kindness of the staff, the nice garden and swimming pool. The free shuttle to the airport. This hotel is classified 5 stars, but far from deserving it It took nearly half an hour to check in, and the telephone system was out of order for one day The decoration of the rooms and corridors is becoming old, and my bathroom needed renovation. The corridor was often noisy. The breakfast offered a large choice, but afterall, was not very tasty.
Near the airport Room not the clean also I ordered dinner the deliverd cold also the hairdryer was burned with a dirty coffee cups
Too expensive for the type of hotel. This hotel is not a five star hotel. this hotel is less than a four star.
The hotel clean and check-in staff was good. Good amenities. Hotel named recently changed and had difficulty finding hotel and phone number was wrong based on internet booking. No street address given. Cleaning service disrupted sleep. Taxi service at hotel was not a good experience. Overall very displeased with experience.
The man that met us at the airport was very professional. Unfortunately that was the only good thing about the hotel. The shuttle bus waited for half an hour at the airport while it filled up. It was 11.30pm when we got back to the hotel and there was a large queue at check in. When we finally completed check in we were told we had to wait 15 minutes until room was ready! We had paid US $110 for the room which should have been available from 2 pm. When we went to the room we found that had not been made up and was still dirty. It was also a smoking room even though we had booked non smoking. Another 15 mins later we were shown to another room which was sufficient for sleeping. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. The only thing going for it is that it is very close to the airport so you can avoid Cairo traffic.
Very convenient, close to airport as we only stayed there for a couple of hours. Minor thing but would have been nice to have some tea in the room (only coffee available)
Just it is the place I had my wedding reception at. Not organized. They even did not recognize "Booking.com" at the beginning. Not to mention the wrong reservation for just single occupancy while I asked for double and on top of that a smoking room while I asked for non-smoking.
It was a very bad experiance specially with the staff. The staff are not trained at all and every one of them has a different policy which they follow, also parts of the things mentioned during the booking was not applicable which was very shoking and very bad for the guest. whenever you ask the staff about any thing you find the answer directly on their face that they do not know, i asked for the duty manager but they brought me the front office manager who was not capable to handle any situation or any complain.
Very comfortable and friendly environment. Awesome customer service.
it was good hotel but it is expensive as my experience beacuse is new hotel so is better to have les price to get more customers the hotel is new and on the key the should put map of the hotel to help the taxis when you want to take it .
The staff were excellent! The facilities of the hotel had not yet been completed in March 09 yet this was not advised up front and there did not appear to be a discounted room rate for this inconvenience.
We stayed at the Radisson Blu on our last night in Cario as it was close to the airport....I wish we could have stayed longer. The rooms were very comfortable and relaxing as we just were at the end of our very hectic vacation. The staff were very helpful, the food at the buffet was top notch and the whole complex was very nice. We took a cab to downtown and had no problems getting back to the hotel about $100 Egyptian pounds for four people. Nothing not to like...top notch hotel.
The location and the free wireless internet. the first day they put in the room 2 bottles of water and coffee machine with the coffee and tea but they don’t refill it every day, I think this is not nice either they put it or not but not asking the customer to pay if he need to fill it next day.
Sea food at the italia restaurant Problems in the hot water in bathroom. This issue is in the whole hotel. Staff do not respond quickly.
The great customer service from Ms. Meena from business lounge. He was the only person at the hotel who helps to change my room due to a very bad smell from the bathroom. cleanliness of the room and noise from outside. Very slow internet WIFI connection
I like nothing about this hotel The room was dirty Bathroom was dirty and they did not put soap nor toiel till I asked for it. Internet really bad and slow Air conditions was cooling but too old and has noise. Staff were not preffisonal and they try hard to get money from you somehow. This is the worse experience ever had.
A lot of nice restaurants close by, but nobody really told us how to get there so we found it on the few hours of our stay. There was good wifi in our room. The hotel is located right by a highway so there was a lot of noise coming from the windows. The room didn't have a space heater, its winter! We had to ask for toilet paper three times. There wasn't enough hot water for two people. the entrance to the hotel is on the side of the building. I wish someone would have mentioned that as well.
