Pros: The location was perfect, walkable to the beach and restaurants.

7.5 Good

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location right across from the pier, large awesome living area with separate room, kitchen stocked with dishes and whatever you’ll need. They even have beach toys and games and movies to borrow for the kiddos. We came in on the train and they were great about letting us store our bags until we left.
Cons: The floor and furnishings of the room are updated but some parts of the overall property/the bathtub could use some TLC — not a big deal, just worth noting. Seems like they had some works in progress though!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing staff that helped me after I botched up the booking for the 4th of July holiday and an unparalleled location next to the beach away from the enormous crowds during the busy holiday. Less than 100ft from the pier.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect and the beach was just a few steps away. I really enjoyed my stay. My room was very nice and the view was beautiful. I am looking forward to my next trip back!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredible. They were so friendly and accommodating. It was a perfect weekend celebration.
Cons: None
9.2 Excellent
Pros: A very nice resort for a family with young children, as there's an adult but also a childrens pool, where the little ones can play all day long. We also enjoyed the spacious room, the on site restaurants and the super friendly staff.
Cons: The resort fee ridiculous and could be included in the room price, as you have to pay it anyway. Also, valet parking is super expensive and the on site food market totally overpriced. But there's a Ralphs close by to get water, fruit,....
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Oceanside location, private beach area with complimentary lounge chairs and umbrellas, walking trails, beautiful views from pool and rooms, fitness classes, excellent customer service.
Cons: No casual dining options for breakfast or dinner. Expensive valet parking.
7.1 Good
Pros: Hotel was very beautiful, clean and friendly
Cons: I didn’t like Avo restaurant’s host behavior. He was very rude and unpolite with guest.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: This property is amazing! As beautiful as it is, the people the staff are really what make the trip. Everyone from the valet to the pool deck folks are the best! Everyone was working to ensure a perfect trip, you get what you pay for here.
Cons: Valet is a bit expensive.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The resort was big and had something for everyone. Toddler pool was perfect. Nice views. Pretty good food and drinks. Staff was hands down the best all over the resort, valet, bell man, even the turn down service.
Cons: Everything was pretty expensive. The cafe was so incredibly slow. During about dinner time there was only 1 tram going back and fort to the beach which took forever.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location and standard.
Cons: Service is poor..... we had stomach problems when we used restaurant at the beach. 4 of us. Billy Santos Director of Food and Beverage contacted us since I left feedback on the hotel web. To follow up. I’ve replied with details for contact and suggestions but since 5 days nothing. No interest nothing. So here we are.! They should work on cleanest of gym. We used it 3 days in in a row. Mirrors, floor was not cleans at all!!!! Dust, sticky floor doesn’t encourage you to enjoy it. Service at the pool? Only one day we were approached out of 3!!! 2 other days we were not existing to the staff. I would expect more from management!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel .. good food .. attentive staff
Cons: Weddings in public areas
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel facilities are nice.
Cons: Not accommodating. My wife and I were celebrating our wedding night there and did not feel special at all. We asked for early check in and late check out and were not given either (I called in advance for early check in and was told to come the day of the reservation to see what they could do, so I had to take time out of my very bust wedding day to stop by the hotel, only to be told they can't do anything for me). I asked for a bottle of champagne for the room and was charged $150 for it.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: No microwave or small fridge
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Views, amenities, room, food, and accessibility.
Cons: Some of the bar staff was completely aloof and in no rush to help. We waited several minutes for drinks for no reason. Also, the wedding made the hotel extremely packed and not relaxing. Very rude guests in the wedding party.

Cons: N /A
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved everything about the property and the staff!
Cons: Nothing bad at all!
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Staff and breakfast were amazing
Cons: Wish they had queen rooms vs. 2 doubles
7.5 Good
Pros: Every thing was adequate and clean, but besides the amazing location, the resort lacked character, charm or something that would make it memorable.
7.0 Good
Pros: Cleanliness, beautiful grounds
Cons: Couldn’t see out windows very well as we were in a “tower” room.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location, grounds and views were wonderful.
Cons: There was construction going on and the makeshift sand sidewalk was not easy to walk on. The person checking us in was not friendly. The room was not cleaned after the first night when we got back from our wedding late; we called to get it cleaned or change rooms. the staff/desk person said that was not possible and was very rude.
6.7 Good
Pros: Beautiful view, central location for local beaches, nice staff and comfortable
Cons: A little dirty for a luxury hotel like slime on the TV remote and a stain on the bathrobe. Plus, the shower leaked all over the bathroom floor.
6.7 Good
Pros: I liked the surroundings.
Cons: The toilet wasn’t working properly .
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location was great...beautiful views...remodeled lobby nice ...parking valet was easy
Cons: First room was a disaster...like being in a cave...very noisey...bad sewer odor...after first night moved to another room...both rooms had the "worst" showers ever!...no doors ...water leaks out all over the floor...very poor design overall for a new remodel...same sewer odor when you shower but not as bad as the first room...overall a very poor representation of a Marriott property!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location and facility are amazing. The food was good. The staff are excellent.
Cons: The place was so expensive. Even when I tried to estimate what I was going to end up paying, it exceeded my expectations by 1000 dollars.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The view. Location. Service.
Cons: Construction in and around hotel property. My first room’s balcony looked directly at the roof of the next building. Zero view for such an amazing place. My second room was much better.
House of Trestles - San Clemente - Building

8.8 Excellent (146 reviews)
Overview Reviews
When you stay at House of Trestles in San Clemente, you'll be on the beach, a 5-minute drive from San Clemente Pier and 10 minutes from Dana Point Harbor. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, express check-in, and express check-out.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lots of space. Comfortable beds. Very quiet.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff really make you feel like you are at home and create a very safe place for woman.
4.6 Okay
Cons: Bunk - stained sheets blankets a mess. Felt dirty and a mess. First reason I will not return. White sheets are white at hotels so they can be bleached and visibly clean. Common spaces are fine, also a bit of a mess. The crowd was not the surf crowd I was expecting - everyone was more into drinking. I was not interested in spending time there. It also appears people are living there which I found creepy. I left when the sun came up to surf (no idea what breakfast is like) and didn't return until it was time to sleep. It was not a place I wanted to be. Would be nice if they offered coffee. This place could be amazing. I have stayed in surf hostels in the past that are welcoming, clean and friendly. I didn't see any announcements or notice any events happening, but generally if someone was there to create an environment and connecting the visitors that would be great; also ensuring the spaces are clean and reflect the environment everyone is responsible for keeping up. It's all good you are into a grunge vibe. Not for me.
7.9 Good
Pros: I liked many things in this location: convenience of the hostel, especially to the freeway, beach, outdoor activities & local sports accessibility & other touristic activities; the staff is very supportive & hard-working (especially Thomas*); the privacy & spacious room of the bunk bed, including the large storage space under the bunk; the very interesting & friendly guests from various backgrounds & cultures; and overall facilities. Nonetheless there are some areas of improvement! Hope this could be upgraded before my future stays.
Cons: Mostly comfort, entertainment & accessibility: would to have “my own” independent light, access to electrical outlet to charging my phone; a former pillow; some stackable baskets or shelves in my bunk bed to store my personal belongings; organized, comfortable space for walking in the dorm room & “uncluttered” areas. When I needed to use my bunk bed; I had to move personal belongings of my roommates (specifically from the one under my bunk bed) to be able to comfortably & easily reach to my bunk bed & I would have loved that this hostel offered some kind of entertainment activities, as others have in West Hollywood, for instance, such as comedic shows; perhaps some outdoor organized activities, such as bike tour, beach boardwalk, nite social activities into town would be nice, too.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Nice social atmosphere to meet other surfers and close to Trestles surf break.
Cons: Room smelt damp. Sheets were clean but need to be replaced (stains). Found out that when we decided as people in their 30's to switch to a hotel room and give our private room to new friends we met, the management didn't allow friends to have our room that we paid for and gave it others.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Waking up to the beautiful Pacific, with the most wonderful weather you could ever imagine. Also , if you appreciate art, good vibes, and healthy free breakfast in the morning this is where you want to be.
Cons: You can forget that your suppose to, at some point leave and when you realize it some sadness will envelop you (:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Location
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Pleasant stay!

Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great place very close to the beach. We stayed here on the way to San Diego and it was prfect in distance from several places we wanted to see. Nice and clean rooms and nice personal.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: The staff was great and responded to our concerns quickly.
Cons: Although the staffs attempted to remedy the issues with our room, the facility did not have an available room that met our expectations.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Came to San Clemente for a weekend getaway. Very clean rooms. Comfy beds. Very close to the action in San Clemente
Cons: None
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice staff, clean & spacious rooms and comfortable beds
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beds were comfortable, rooms were large, pool was very nice and breakfast was good. The service and hospitality was outstanding.
Cons: The only negative was location near the freeway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely front desk staff, breakfast room staff was cheerful and diligent with keeping breakfast stocked and the area clean
9.6 Excellent
Pros: We came for our daughter's wedding on the premises and stayed 2 nights. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good and had a variety of food, including fruit and yogurt smoothies. There was plenty of seating in the breakfast room, so you didn't feel like rushed. We also had a nice view of the golf course from our balcony.
Cons: Since we were there for our daughter's wedding, we used the "boardroom" for the bridesmaids to get ready. There were 6 of us, a makeup artist, plus a hairstylist in the room and it didn't feel crowded. The problem with the room was that the lighting was way too intense (too bright and too hot) plus the fact that there was very little ventilation. I propped the door open and put the dressing screen in front of the doorway to try to get some cool air in there. My husband and I were staying in a queen suite which, in retrospect, would have been a much better choice for a dressing area.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property was close to beach, great views , old but clean and everyday had a new breakfast menu. The staff was always happy to help with a smile.
Cons: There was limited parking, one small elevator . Needed a little TLC.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and big rooms
Cons: Nothing I can think of
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was lovely room was nice a clean staff were helpful
Cons: Pool was small, right next to the freeway was overpriced for what it was would not return due to cost
Capistrano Surfside Inn - Capistrano Beach - Building

8.3 Excellent
Pros: it was fun being by the ocean. The room was VERY clean. No view but we managed.
Cons: No view but we managed.
4.6 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: We couldn’t go outside on the patio because of a fowl smell (cat urine). Checkout is too early. The garbage cans in underground parking area were overflowing and smelled. Rooms were outdated, the lamps by the bed didn’t work.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location and great room! Will be back!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was AMAZING
Cons: The only trouble was with the door. The key card hardly worked
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious, clean condo, well-equipped kitchen, sparkling pool and hot tub with lifts for disabled guests. Friendly, helpful staff. Well maintained. Room for yoga, easy walk to the beach. Our 2-BR, 2-bath unit included a large jet tub in the master bath. Balcony is large enough to seat 4+ for meals with a lovely view of the Pacific. Very convenient to the ferry for Catalina -- an Uber was cheaper than parking. Many nearby grocery options, including Trader Joe's and Costco. We were not expecting the planned activities, which we would have enjoyed if staying longer.
Cons: We really had no complaints. It's true the train passes in front of the property, just on the other side of PCH, but we saw that when we booked, and the occasional train did not bother us. If you want to spend a lot of time at the pool or in the hot tub, be aware it is on the front of the property, but the glass walls help reduce the noise while allowing you to see the ocean.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Everything except the sofabed
Cons: The sofabed was very uncomfortable. Need new ones.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The amenities for your money is very affordable with very comfortable and clean accommodations
Cons: That i'm not staying longer. This place is fabulous
6.7 Good
Pros: Large room with a view. Bed, pillows and linens were comfortable. Towels were lush. Bathroom setup was functional with two separate sinks and a separate water closet (toilet0
Cons: When check-in time is 4pm, a 10am checkout time it too early! Our original room had not been cleaned. We went down to get a new room assignment with all our luggage. Then the second room was clean but 3 large housekeeping carts had been stored in it. The tub is somewhat of a hazard to shower in. While it has safety rails, the shower head is a reach to test the water. The closet door fell off of the overhead rail which made it awkward to open and close. When I checked out nothing was said about the inconvenience of the night before. The front desk clerk said, "sorry" but no real acknowledge of the inconvenience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location.
Cons: Check out is earlier then anywhere I’ve stayed.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very welcoming and friendly. The rooms were clean and there were so many items to make the stay away from home like home. We really loved using the jacuzzi tub! The room decor was very well picked and flowed nicely. We enjoyed the view from the pool and the easy access to the beach.
Cons: The bed was very uncomfortable, very hard and difficult to sleep in. The paintings on the wall constantly moved when the air conditioning was on, so the noise was very irritating. If you are on the back side of the hotel the view from your room is very lacking, just staring at a weed covered hill. The train noise was a little distracting as well since the tracks are right outside.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Location.
Cons: Price, check- in time, check - out time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff extremely helpful and courteous!

Pros: breakfast was very good. The dining staff was very attentive and friendly. The location of the hotel was great. Right on PC1, within walking distance of the beach.
Cons: The carpet in the hallways was definitely dated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Getting a fridge/freezer in the room; gets cold enough to freeze my ice packs (some don’t) great value for the money
Cons: The TV default station (turn-on station) was set on the left-leaning CNN. I changed my TV to default to The Weather Channel. I don’t push my politics on anyone; I have an issue with anyone pushing theirs on me.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Surprisingly nice breakfast. Expected a continental breakfast, but instead had a full breakfast with eggs, sausage, potato's, pancakes etc.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and price
9.0 Excellent
Pros: It's walking distance to the beach and marina.
Cons: Parking is very tight.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice facility, clean, had everything needed in the room (iron, hairdryer, refrigerator, coffee pot) sanitized TV remote, good breakfast, amazing staff who were very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Only issue for me was parking with an oversized vehicle, but staff went above and beyond to find a location and city parking permit.
7.5 Good
Pros: The scrambled eggs were awful! I don't think they were made from fresh eggs but from a carton instead. The potatoes were good. The coffee was terrible!
Cons: Room assignment was facing the street which was noisy first AM. Also, having to pay for parking is annoying...there is no reason to charge a guest for on property parking except to overcharge!
10.0 Excellent

Pros: EXCELLENT breakfast and the location was nice for our vacation.
Cons: A couple of fold up chairs or balcony chairs would have been nice. And the TV audio was distorted-----cutting in and out at times-----believe it to be a DISH reception problem vs. a TV problem.

Pros: Friendly staff comfortable room.
Cons: Not many options around at night. You have to drive to restaurants.
6.3 Good
Pros: A manager was filling in at the desk while we were there, and he was terrific. Friendly and helpful. Superior performance we didn't see in the regular staff at the desk.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This hotel had a great breakfast, a well equipped gym and pool hours till 10:30pm. Its located next to San Clemente's Downtown area and San Clemente has an amazing beach / pier! Overview Reviews
When you stay at San Clemente Inn in San Clemente, you'll be by the ocean, a 4-minute drive from San Clemente Pier and 9 minutes from Dana Point Harbor. Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, a 24-hour front desk, and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
7.1 Good
Pros: Room had full kitchen.
Cons: Bathroom shower was hard to regular hot water. Sliding door and screen was broken and would not lock. We lost power at one point and there was NO ELEVATOR.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The pool and hot tub, location
Cons: Old beds, cheap foam pillows, door keys kept failing.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach! All the extra activities to do on the property.
Cons: Thin walls. I heard “everything!” all night long next door.
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and good facilities.
Cons: A little noisy, bedroom window open to main corridor. Detected noise at night from adjoining rooms.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location pretty good. Big Hill but manageable. Housekeeping Staff was friendly. Size was great.
Cons: Light went out in bathroom. Ants in cupboards. Restaurant only open in am.. Like a place for an evening glass of wine before dinner.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The staff was excellent through out our stay
Cons: The first room air conditioner didn’t work. It was an extremely hot day. Maintenance was gone for the day. The front desk moved us to another room. We had to move all our luggage again. That room was 98 degrees. It took the air conditioner an entire day to cool the room. Suggestion would be to have air conditioners turned on prior to check in when weather is extremely hot. Would have been nice to be upgraded for our inconveniences. We were in a studio. Only two remained and room location bad. View of buildings. That would have been the right thing to do.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: I liked that there were so many amenities offered and that the location of the inn was so close to the beach.
Cons: There were ants in our room. The room we were given was not the same one advertised in the online pictures. The room we got needed an update. The closet was behind two doors making it an awkward, tight, and pretty much inaccessible storage area (We had to leave our clothes in our suitcases.) Amenities were all taken up by kids (billiards, mini golf, pool, etc.) Pool hours did not account for an "adult swim time." The bar was small. And THERE IS NO GUEST ELEVATOR..we had to carry all of our luggage up and down stairs.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Landscaping Grounds are maintained nicely. Rooms are very decorative and modern. Great price for all that’s included. Beach very close by. This is our 3rd family beach trip. My 4th time here. Will continue to make it a yearly destination. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Had some issues with my credit card and they worked around that.
Cons: We arrived Friday night. Come Saturday morning we noticed there was an awful smell in the hotel. We blamed it on the meat packaging in the trash from cooking dinner the night before. However after throwing the trash out the smell was still there. As we searched the entire room we went to open the closet door in the master suite, there was gut wrenching smell of death. Maintenance came to inspect and said it was mice season and there was probably a dead mouse behind and in between the walls. The walls would have to be knocked down. We were offered to change rooms but we had all our groceries in the fridge and there was too much of our stuff to move for the 4 of us. Such an inconvenience to move to a different building. We kept the closet door closed and the ceiling fans going full blast thru our stay until Sunday morning. Also the pool/jacuzzi hours should be extended by at least an hour for adults.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very Clean and well maintained throughout. Extremely convenient to the beach and center of San Clemente.
Cons: Check in can be as late as 4PM but check out is by 10 PM with a charge of $50 per hour after that if you are running slow. We were accommodated with a check in at 1 but in order to do that, you have to return to the property and "pre-check In"... Coffee supplied in room is nasty. Why bother offering it???
5.0 Okay
Cons: We weren’t told anywhere when we booked that it was a huge time share place and that on sundays you have to wait to be called to check in. We were number 52! Also, we were told we could not check in or our room wouldn’t be available until after 4:30 or later. We were only staying one night and that seemed a bit bizarre to me. I feel people that aren’t staying for extended amount of time should be checked in first and have priority. I mean we spent a chunk of our vacation day sitting and waiting in the lobby. Ridiculous! I feel this info should be listed somewhere. And when I did get to check in the employee wansnt overly friendly and didn’t offer much info. She seemed more annoyed that I was asking question and asked for a quiet room (since you can pick). Also the room was dated and the sheets were worn.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The amenities around the hotel
Cons: Have a coffee station in the lobby.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The lobby was nice.
Cons: It is just a dump. The room was old, tired, and smelly. The carpet was torn and sticky. The shower was gross. The walkways and exterior were ugly and shabby like an old tenement. Dump.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location, pleasant and helpful staff. Hotel was clean. Parking was good, free laundry was useful. Marginal breakfast was OK, but no whole wheat muffins or bread!
Cons: Booked a timeshare setup - should have cooking and eating facilities, and reasonable seating accommodation. Instead, we got a microwave, no table or chairs, one armchair and one desk chair. There was a jacuzzi we didn't need. Shower floor was like glass.
7.0 Good
Pros: Pool lounge chairs and cabanas. Clean and good hot breakfast
Cons: Rooms and hallways seem outdated
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff the property and the rooms for fantastic for the price!
9.6 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Room and amenities
7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel is in a beautiful area of San Clemente, within walking distance to many restaurants and shops and the beach. There is also a free trolley to take you around the area
Cons: We arrived a little earlier than check in time (40 min) and were told our room wasn’t ready (understandable). But after returning from a walk after check in time it still wasn’t ready. We waited an hour and the man at the desk said he would call me when it was ready and didn’t. I went to check on the room and he said it was now ready.

Pros: The room was very nice. I like having floor instead of carpet
7.5 Good
Pros: The service was nice
Cons: No ocean view like the website stated our room was tucked all the way in the back they need new towels
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it, if we ever make it back to San Clemente we will definitely be staying there again.
7.0 Good
Cons: I wouldn't say the photos of the room were misleading, but did not quite live up to what I expected.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The decor was awesome. Kate, our hostess, was real, timely, and kind! I want to work with her!
Cons: Wish we had known about the coffee outside the office. Though it was visible, it did not register, and the next morning we wondered. Though we had a kitchen, there was no coffee in it. Also, the fan in our room was too loud. Without it though, it would’ve been too hot. These are minor details. I would love to stay there again!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I love it.
Cons: Manager walk through patio.
7.9 Good
Pros: Location was great!
Cons: Our room was next to trash bin which you could smell when the window was open. Couldn’t open restroom window neither since it was next to recycle bin and took away from our privacy. Miscommunication on getting clean towels... assumed those would be provided daily
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved the location to everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the suite was clean, spacious, smelled good, and so perfectly located! Kate & Jenny were absolutely amazing! Friendly! Excellent customer service! We'll be back!
Cons: The mattress in the king suite was broken, fell through to the bottom on my side of the bed, other than that, it was amazing!
8.5 Excellent
Pros: It was cute and the location was great for walking to the beach and to the shops
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It was the first time my husband and I tried the "typical American Motel" and we were very pleased with the experience. The hotel appears to be recently renovated and is sparkling clean; has a confortable and big bed; nice bathroom with shower and specially a very nice decor. Although it is located near one of the town's main road, we weren't bothered by the noise and slept like babies. The staff is very friendly and we got many nice town tips. Thank you for having us!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff, location, gardens surrounding rooms

3.7 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: Bathrooms were really gross, the tub didn’t drain, the shower curtain was tattered, the sink area was just old and had chipped countertop. When I turned AC unit on to access the fan because there was so much humidity in room, black stuff came flying out. The blackout shades are useless because all the balconies have a bright light and it comes shining through. One positive, is that your breakfast lady takes pride in what she does and area is kept clean and well stocked. Hot tub could be wayyyyy warmer as well.
6.7 Good
Pros: They let us check in very early and having our dogs it was very much appreciated! Thank you
3.4 Mediocre
Pros: I wish I could have stay there to find out what I like.
Cons: If they had given us the rooms we booked it would have been amazing. we booked and paid for the rooms, and then when checking in they said, sorry its a holiday weekend and there was a mix up with your booking and we DON'T HAVE ROOMS for you.... so they out us in a Hilton near by, it was already 9PM when we checked in and missed dinner. Horrible.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very helpful and friendly. We could leave our car on the lot for the rest of the day after check-out, which was great since free parking so close to the sea is otherwise very limited.
Cons: By now I'm aware that it's not only this property, but I honestly cannot comprehend why they would only have single-use plates and cutlery, plus no waste separation so no recycling!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great staff, pool, location, and price!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Close to the hot restaurants in the area
Cons: I got double billed at checkout. I called the following day, they said they would correct it.Have not seen it yet
7.9 Good
Pros: It was exactly as advertised.
Cons: night check in staff. woman seemed bothered to be helping me, it was around 11pm
7.9 Good
Pros: We arrived late from LA and the staff made our check-in quick and easy. Our room was on the first floor around the corner from the check-in desk. That was perfect because it was late, we were tired, and the last thing we wanted to do was walk around the hotel to find our room. We were able to get situated and enjoy the room immediately. Breakfast was fun and delicious. The fresh fruit and ability to make our own waffles made it a unique experience.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I chose this place because it was close to where I needed to be early the next morning. And because it had a pool and was close to the beach in case I wanted to take a dip. It delivered on all those. The staff was friendly and helpful and the parking lot big enough for me to park my car with trailer while not causing problems for other guests.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Love the location, and very nice variety on breakfast. Coffee with flavored creamers always available. And the staff is always so nice.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Great location. Comfortable clean living area. We had fun hanging out on the deck.
Cons: Bathroom definitely needed an upgrade and it wouldn't hurt to clean under the mat in the tub once in a while.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We could check into our room earlier than expected as we were attending a wedding. Staff went out of their way to enable us to do this.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Wonderful location beautiful view very comfortable one bedroom extremely satisfied with our stay.
Cons: The property is located right across the street from the beach but the train tracks are also in front of you so you need to bring earplugs if you want the Oceanview otherwise if you stay on the backside of the property I don’t think you’d hear the train. Lots of free parking and extremely fast check-in

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was a perfect last minutes place to go, price was good and downtown has great places to eat.
Cons: No, its right off freeway and got me away from Irvine for the week.
4.2 Okay
Pros: What is this comment section here for? As far as I am concerned they know how terrible their breakfast is. I am telling you because I am comparing this Best Western to the other ones I have stayed at in Santa Barbara. Their breakfasts was inedible. Potatoes seemed like were boiled two days prior and the day they served they just put some pepper on top and heated them up. The eggs were artificial horrible thing, the orange juice served was watered down, should have been advertised as orange water. The last day before checking out at 9:40am, be mindful, the breakfast is served till 10:00am, I wanted to go get just a cup of coffee so I can drink it with the sweet bread I purchased outside from the market. I was not able to access the breakfast location as all the doors were already locked. And this is when they said they serve breakfast till 10am!
Cons: Didn’t like pretty much anything other than the staff was OK. Location too noisy, the room smelled musty. I had requested to be away from noise and the freeway. They told me the room has a small balcony overlooking the canyon and it’s very peaceful. Come open the balcony door and you can’t have it open because it is so noisy just from the freeway. The canyon they were referring to was just a slope with trash in there.

2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!!!
Cons: Old, not updated, depressing, right next to the freeway, even if sheets and towels are clean, everything looks dirty, awful dirty rug. Breakfast on cheapest paper plates with cheapest plastic forks and knifes (even at 99 c stores you find better ones).
7.5 Good
Pros: Quiet
Cons: Hard to find
6.3 Good
Pros: If you could get past the negatives the hotel was ok.
Cons: Room was a little noisy, could hear people in room above walking around. Also Sunday morning we encountered a cockroach climbing the wall in our room. Made reservations online , received my confirmation with booking #.also received a Thank you e- mail from Best Western for the booking yet the day of check in no reservation could be found. The online company used for booking called the hotel and got us the quotes rate.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the friendliness of the staff. The rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay there again if we return to the area. Wonderful experience.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The breakfast was half decent.
Cons: The rooms were humid and damp with lots of dust in the air. The construction of the rooms also carried a lot of noise between rooms. The location right at the freeway exit is horrible. The exit south bound gets huge queues in the evening and in the morning if you need to U-turn to get on the freeway is impossible to exit the hotel.

Pros: I like to wear their rooms are large and the Bedford so comfortable! The free breakfast was great!
Cons: I can’t think of anything.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The room was large and very comfortable. The location of the hotel is very central.
Cons: The hotel is right near a railroad and the train whistles wake you several times a night. The breakfast is just ok. The waffles are the best thing to eat. The one night that there was a "reception" in the lobby the white wine was Chardonnay and it was terrible. There was no other choice. Chicken burgers were blah. There was an exit door behind our room and people were banging it at all hours of the night. It should be off limits after 11:00 p.m.
6.7 Good
Pros: Service at breakfast was great. The staff was very caring and attentive to our needs.
Cons: Beds were hard.

7.5 Good
Pros: room was nice and clean and much larger than expected

3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Close tobthe beach
Cons: Ocean view rooms are actually partial ocean view rooms. Too noisy
9.6 Excellent
Pros: They provided beach chairs and umbrellas
7.9 Good
Cons: We were charged USD 29 per night for parking which seems a little steep
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is very good, very clean hotel
Cons: Beds
7.1 Good
Pros: Location was amazing!
Cons: Morning breakfast staff was not very attentive at all. Would have been better if it were just a seat yourself buffet...since that is what we were treated like even though we had the full hot breakfast. I wished we hadn't prepaid for the breakfast so we could've went somewhere else. The room next to us was coming in and out all night, between 1 and 3 in the morning. 2 nights of this was more than enough! Not the hotels fault but the doors slamming shut were really loud.
4.2 Okay
Cons: Here is a list of everything that was wrong (although I may be missing something) - Torn couch cushions (multiple); screen door off track, bathroom sink faucet was very loose; toilet wouldn't flush properly; Shower drain wasn't connected; incredibly loud fan on a/c going off and on and waking us up during the night when the toilet wasn't constantly running, also waking us up.
7.9 Good
Cons: The toilet room accessories were upgraded by a designer without practical application. Mirror lighting inadequate, no shelf space for dopp kit. "Modernization" attempt failed...should have stayed with original layout and plans, not 'goo gah' modern.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: By the beach,
Cons: Bathroom set up, door didn’t close
10.0 Excellent
Pros: no breakfast, Location was great
Cons: nothing i didn't like
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Balcony with room was a nice feature.
Cons: Bathroom was crazy small like a motel 6...smaller. Also was never told about $25 self parking per night. Was a total surprise and I would have picked a different hotel. Thank you
4.0 Okay
Pros: Wifi was free...
Cons: Full ocean view isnt really what I expected. Blocked by trees and the camp site in front of the hotel. Just expected more of a view for what I paid.
4.0 Okay
Pros: The location was convenient and the staff members were friendly
Cons: Lots of traffic noise from nearby roadways and the train track running directly behind the hotel. The water main broke during my stay and there was no water for several hours. Had to check out without showering or cleaning up.

7.9 Good
Pros: Lois check me in nice & friendly, asked if stairs would be an issue, this was great since my 82 year old mother does not handle stairs well. Lois gave us a ground floor room next to the handicap parking. The room was nicely appointed and was very clean.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location close to the beach.
Cons: Expensive. Noisy rooms cleaning from early morning in front of the rooms at ground floor.
7.5 Good
Pros: Everything was normal. Nothing espectacular ñor fancy. The location is super good walking distance from cafes, restaurants and beach.
Cons: The breakfast was not good at all. All disposable and just junk food. We have to go to a cafe for breakfast.
7.5 Good
Pros: Room was clean and great price for a very last minute planned trip! We were over all very happy that we picked this hotel. Coffee was good.
Cons: Water pressure could have been a little bit better. But it wasn’t terrible and we were glad the sheets and towels were clean.

7.5 Good
Pros: I liked the bathroom, the ironing board and iron.
Cons: I did not like the led lights.
4.6 Okay
Pros: What breakfast, I'm not sure they had any. If they did was boxed food. Location was good
Cons: Well for starters, the weather was hot and humid. The air condition in the first room was not working, I ended up having to change rooms 4 times before they got the original room air condition fixed. They did not offer nor grant me any kind of discount for the inconvenience of having to change rooms for separate times. Even after I asked Please do not offer them on your site.
6.3 Good
Pros: Breakfast was meh!
Cons: The room had an odd odor
7.9 Good
Pros: Everything else is decent.
Cons: Area behind the bed was not so clean.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: You are in a prime tourist beach area for a price I don’t find in most places in poorer city areas. The rooms are large, clean and have many amenities in wasn’t expecting for the price. The manager is helpful. With family in this city and sometimes a room crunch at their place we’ve found our 2nd home option when visiting from out of Syate
