Really friendly staff!
I felt welcome, the couple who run it are lovely, it felt like a home from home.
Good all round No bad points
Room too small for family of 4 & breakafast too early!
Excellent location for Alton Towers. Took us 15 minures at about 8.45 when the park was emptying. The best though is the owners, very friendly and helpful and could not do enough to make us feel at home. Could not recommend highly enough. Would fed stay again.
The hosts were very friendly and welcoming and the breakfasts were very good. Parking was free which was useful.
People were lovely rooms where dated but we just wanted somewhere to stay and close by alton towers. Da dated room no where to get a nice meal you had to travel which we didn't have a car so we stuffed are faces in alton towers...
the couple are very friendly and they gave us a warm welcome.
We received a very warm welcome upon arrival & were immediately made to feel at home. We enjoyed a relaxing stay & a tasty cooked breakfast. Their homemade plum muffins were gorgeous! Our shower in the morning wasn't terribly hot - probably not helped by the fact that it was the coldest night of the year! That wouldn't prevent us from going back though - we loved Park View Guest House!
quite night sleep nothing
Comfy bed Toilet wouldn't flush.
how close it was to the office i was working in, plus the facilities attached i.e a restuarant and pub, made the stay easier.
The disabled bathroom should have a stool on which guests can sit while washing, cleaning teeth etc.
Very pleasant staff at reception and in the restuarant Computer system wasn't always working
If u have a car convieniet to airport and city centre Not many shops nearby
visit went well, no queries or problems. It is obviously a popular place I will reccomend it and will use it again no
Staff excellent nice large room good breakfast Spoilt by blocked sink and airport noise(which to be fair we did expect)
Very efficient staff. both rooms were excellent.
Great room with very comfortable bed.
Quiet, calm, ticked all the boxes for a good night's sleep
food and service
The bar was great, good atmosphere and welcoming for families. The room was comfortable and the pool was a great size, although was shocked no signs to say what shouldn't happen as very small children were in jacuzzi area?? Wanted to hire robe as taking very small baby to pool- didn't do robes? Would've liked a shower cap in room as soaps dispensible wasn't anything else. Also copies of bar menu/ childrens menu in room would've been helpful, The reason for out trip was to take baby swimming for first time without taking to a public baths.
The leisure facilities the cracked sink in the bathroom
Use of pool and gym Only shower/wc provided in room allocated. We were moved to a room with Bath/wc. TV/internet access nor working properly. Sound insulation between rooms was very poor.
Cooked breakfast Aircraft noise
The room was very comfortable and well presented. The hotel has all the facilities of a 4 star hotel at a budget price!
Leisure club, parking, food No sofa in my room as stated in the room info on internet,a group of your guests were swearing a lot where your table and chairs area is outside the pub.
hotel was very nice, comfy rooms, staff were friendly , food was good in bar and breakfast, swimming pool was warm and clean will use this chain of hotels again
The hotel was very convenient, clean and breakfast was good The verve restaurant closed at 5:30 on the Sunday we arrived which was a bit inconvenient as we wanted to relax and eat in the hotel we did not want to have to go out of the hotel and drive somewhere to eat to eat and the bar snacks were not really what we wanted for the evening meal.
The Clayton Hotel is very good at providing accommodations for lots of people. Lines are long but move quickly. Food is what you'd expect. The bar has lots of seating. Basically, it is a very convenient and well-run hotel. The Clayton does cut a few corners. There are no tissues in the room (my nose was running from a cold). The soap bar is amazingly small but more than is needed for a shower or two. Would I stay at another hotel at the airport, no. I recommend the Clayton.
Had a very nice meal
Free Wifi No ice machine
It was close to the airport and they have a 24 hr shuttle However, the shuttle was late, like 40 minutes, and we had to call twice to make sure they were coming. The room was old. Like 1975 orange couch old
Very clean and efficient. Good service with the shuttles to the airport. The bar could have had more ambience. Seemed a little sterile
I liked the room, the bed, and the large bar/lounge/dining room. The price goes up every time I book. The mini-bus transportation, even though it requires booking, seems a bit of a free for all when waiting to board the bus, leading me to believe that the number of bookings do not match the number of seats!
Convenient to the airport with a good restaurant The only thing I could complain about is no one advised us that the heating/cooling system was turned off in our room upon arrival.
location unsatisfactory bed factory eating set up
Close to the airport I thought I was booked into the Crown Plaza next door. I arrived a was greeted with a smile. Since it was 10am they had no problem allowing me an early check in...then I realized my company booked me in Bewleys :( Different experience altogether..check in lady was Eastern Europe...not very friendly and recited the welcome greeting with teeth clenched. Then I asked if I could check in early having flown 25 hours. Yes for 20 pounds...OK no problem. I had already paid in advance for the hotel and because my credit card would not work in the machine I had to go and find a cash machine for 20 pounds which meant driving into the nearest town. Then was advised there was a charge for parking and breakfast! Honestly, if you are traveling long distance and prepaid your room I would like to think that for 20 pounds they could have let me had a shower first before my meeting that afternoon!! I will be staying at the Crown Plaza next time for sure. Ho, and the gym was terrible...one bike one tred mill and thats it!
A great place to stay if you're flying in late in the evening or flying out early in the morning. Only a few hundred metres away from the terminals and the railway station. The service was a bit impersonal. Then again, I guess you shouldn't expect much if you're only staying for one short night.
Slow checkin. Cost of car park seemed excessive charge. Comfort.
Very convenient for airport and car rental. Will accept early arrivals. Excellent full breakfast. Some rooms are not up to par - smell and have been patched up. There is no air conditioning so it can be bad on a hot day. They will supply a fan, if you ask.
Fantastic location, modern rooms with decent beds, noon check out, very affordable price point. Would definitely stay here again. A little bit more information about the room would have been nice; maybe it's intuitive to others but I didn't realize I needed to put my card into a slot when I first walked in, or that the shower fan was controlled along with the thermostat, etc.
Super close to the airport, clean, comforatable. Perfect if you're traveling, otherwise there are better options location wise in Manchester!
no hot water in shower
location room was a bit tired
The service was excellent. We were aided a number of times by Dean, part of your staff. It seemed to need a fresh look. Floors and carpets looked used and old.
Hotel is just a few minutes away by foot from terminal 1 and the railway startion via a covered walkway Irritating that the batteries on the TV remote control were flat and the TV itself was perched on top of the wardrobe, no programme guide available.
This was the perfect place to stay the night before my flight. Comfortable, clean hotel with perfect airport location.
The location was perfect for an early flight out of Manchester. The staff was very friendly, which to me is the important part of any hotel stay. The place was clean, but there was a long brown hair on the wall of the shower and a really funky smell in one of the pillows, like mold and sweat. Not pleasant, luckily there were three other pillows available.
Excellent location. Directly connected to the train station and terminals via closed overhead walkway. Expensive restraurant, but it is at the airport and it is in England.
Radisson Blu is well attuned to international travelers from the architecture to the amenities it provides. The ease of accessing the airport made it the perfect pre-flight hotel.
Great for the various Manchester Airport terminals. I stayed in the business class rooms which provides access to the upper floor lounge which was calm and nice views over to the airport terminal. Quiet rooms - so well rested before flight. Never can get my stay put on Lufthansa Miles and More loyalty program. What is wrong with these hotels and their airline partners?
Clean quiet beautiful room. Friendly efficient staff .. Best night of sleep in my entire journey
Convenience to the airport terminals and the efficiency and friendliness of the staff. Car parking was awkward and the prices in the restaurant and bar were very high. We arrived late and there was nothing reasonably priced to eat.
Loved the location in Central Manchester. Made it very easy to get around. Opus bar was fabulous and the staff was incredibly accommodating. Room was lovely and made for a great experience.
Staff were exceptional, service excellent. Standard of toiletries in a five star hotel was not as good as I expected.Shower was not great.
cleanliness, attentiveness of staff when required, decor, closeness for requirements of city shops and arena for concert pool change area is small, there was a hen party there for the day getting treatments in the spa and there were no lockers available so we had to take everything into the pool area! Lifts were a problem- a number of us (guests) had encoutered room cards that didn't work in lifts- my mother who I was travelling with hates lifts and we got stuck!
We were made very welcome during our stay and nothing was too much trouble. -
All the staff were friendly and helpful and the room was fantastic with everything we needed
Clean, comfortable and convenient
Modern "boutique" feel to decor & rooms. Central location. Decent leisure facilities. Buffet breakfast was a bit old-fashioned and not in keeping with quality of hotel.
Nice setting and location, good breakfast and friendly staff. Needs investment certain things looking old now, my first stay years ago was very impressive it seems more like a 4 star now and the little touches aren't there like before.
the hotel was lovely and the room very comfortable with lovely facilities we were on room only as that was the special rate we got but we didn't have breakfast as it was far too expensive
The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was first class.
The cleansers were super nice people Dear Madame. Because of your totally unacceptable behaviour, to our Guests and Staff, we will no longer be accepting any further bookings from you, and indeed you are not welcome at all in this Hotel . No further correspondence from yourself, will be responded to from Edwardian Hotels. Stephen Miles FIH MI General Manager T: +44 (0) 161 835 8957 M: +44 (0) 797 3128852 E: email@example.com W: edwardian.com We booked a suit got there realized it was small, stayed 2 nights and took an extra room.Day 3 we booked a two bedroom suit which really isn't it's just them bringing two rooms together. We were shown a suit with a balcony & since my artist is super claustrophobic and has a lot of luggage we agreed to that.Upon going to pay they claimed someone booked that particular room for 2 nights and we booked it right with them less than an hr ago for 3 nights. These super racist hotel people just because the person was black almost even lied they never showed us the room.We left the hotel and booked a huge 3 bedroom penthouse suit somewhere else.Mind u we had no issues we these people we just decided to leave after realizing it was more of a racist thing, I forgot to mention their services suck, they barely help with anything like umbrellas and opening doors smh we never even had a conversation with any one except the manager the day we left but go this email today claiming we were rude to their guests.
Comfortable bed and nice bathroom. Old fashioned tv. Very few luxuries in the bedroom/bathroom.No shower cap or hair conditioner for my wife. A little disapointed with the breakfast set up in the morning. We normally have one person waiting table but that didnt happen, just people wandering around.
The room was very impressive and comfortable. Also, there was a lot on offer for breakfast.
beautifull building, restaurant and reception very beautifull, good location bad aisles, labyrinth to reach the room, room old fashion
the building and public areas and the function i attended at the hotel 2 days before my stay i received a call from the hotel cancelling my reservation for myself and my 6 guests due to overbooking. after a lot of difficult conversations my reservation was reinstated the next day. This is completely unnaceptable and caused a lot of concern
the fact west ham won at old trafford ! jokes apart the service and freindly approach of all the staff no
The staff were quietly efficient and helpful. Found traffic noise a little overbearing. Booking my meal on line proved not to be value for money as our meal was less that that stated on line, but we still had to pay original price.
The bar/restuarant Being woke at 3am due to rail works directly outside my bedroom window
Luxurious room, furnishings and curtains etc.
most comfortable bed i have ever slept in! successful fusion of old an new styles.. the sink was blocked and i forgot to tell them - room 203
Fantastic location! Loved the look and history. Loved the age of the hotel. Breakfast on site was a plus. Good selection, easy and started the day off right. The booked us in an ADA room and that was all they had. The room was spacious and bed was comfortable but the shower was awful and the sink was too low if you stand at it. I felt terrible taking a very well equipped ADA room and it was not super comfortable for tow very tall adults.
I liked the lay out of the room and the hotel is nice. Perfect location. Its 2014, u can offer free WiFi. 99% of hotels do
Poor wifi availability, and poor connection even in the public areas. The toilet in my room didn't flush properly, I had to 'pump' it to get it to flush. Very dated overall. Breakfast was very average. Very over priced for the quality.
Everything outside of my room My room! tiny, wallpaper falling off, mold on ceiling, rust on bath. Rank!
Closeness to team and stadium.
The magnificent central staircase and the general grand appearance of the interior. Our first room was very small. The shower did not work. The radio via the TV did not work. There was a nasty stain on the carpet. Extra towels were hidden in the wardrobe. As this room was on the ground floor we kept awake by the nightclub.
The great staff.excellent breakfast, very central what small faults in room were corrected very quickly,
location in central Manchester Room was a dump - wardrobe door hanging off.
Loverly hotel, made feel very welcome, Heating in room too hot unable to turn down. Inform staff did give us a fan in mins but still mafting. We went into the jenny's about 6.00pm for a cavery. The food came out of the kitchen was cold,we informed staff.
Convenience for locality to Bridgewater hall where I was performing in a concert that evening! There was a wedding party on in the main function suite which was fine but which seemed to take over the whole hotel!
Being close to the centre of town and the men Arena, which was why I chose it. There was a wedding party in the hotel that night so there was quite a lot of noise, and we could hear everything that was happening next door.
It was close to the centre which made it easy to get to the shops etc
entrance and hall very imposing room and halls on 5th floor could be better maintained
As usual the breakfast is really good as is the location The room didn't have a window, issues with the air conditioning being red hot, the beds were rock hard and general up keep and cleansiness of the bathroom is well below standard
The hotel was excellent. Great room, great facilities and great staff. The only very small niggle was the slow lift.
The staff were very helpful and the room was excellent. We had to queue for breakfast due to lack of tables ready
We stayed only for one night, specifically to go shopping and have a night in Manchester, so unfortunately we didn't get to use the spa facilities. However, I use my local McDonald hotel for spa and gym purposes, so I know that it would have been good.
Location and newness no
The rooms are very comfy & spacious, good environment to relax in and the food served at the restaurant was excellent. When I got to my room - I went to close the curtains and in doing so had to move one of the sofa chairs, as I moved it the front left hand legal collapsed. The shaving socket was also cracked, these are small points but the hotel looks great in terms of decor, design and I did mention these to point to a staff member.
Location and room atmosphere Homeless camping across from the hotel, front of most room windows
The friendless and helpfulness of the staff and attention to detail. The rooms are very comfortable and relaxing. I particularly like the IPod docking station and the fact that there is a speaker in the bathroom to ensure a relaxing bath! It was easy to travel to men Arena and I can't wait to stay with you again! Thank you The only small thing was that there were a lack of toiletries in the bathroom - 1 small bottle of shampoo and the flanel and my personal flanel was taken from the room on the morning of day 2 and not replaced
Location and room quality The Bathroom smelt of raw sewage. I have already been in contact with Macdonalds Customer Service about it.
friendly service, clean and comfortable room, fresh cooked food poor signage to the restaurant
Everyon was so friendly and helpful. Beautifully clean and decorated thrtoughout. Rooms were first class. We were a bit concerned with, what seemed like, dozens of people milling around everywhere in evening dress, and we thought, if there were party functions going on we'd be disturbed by noise but we needn't have worried at all as everything was fine. The only negative side, which has nothing to do with the hotel itself, was that, once we had parked the car (behind Picadilly Station), no-one we asked seemed to know where the hotel was / how to get to it!! (Even a couple of policemen didn't know?? So, signage would be useful for future travellers. (One small point - when we rang to say we had would be ariving late & where should we park, the receptionist said the hotel car-park was full so to park behind the station. On arrival we discovered that the Travis Street car park, just behind the hotel, had loads of room so we had to go back and retrieve our car from the station car park. A bit annoying but not the end of the world!
Large bedroom and bathroom Bedroom could do with more drawer space
Friendly staff, clean hotel, nice room, lovely food.
Excellent breakfast, nicely designed rooms Rooms weren't as clean as they should have been, Bar staff were very unprofessional
It was very central for the MEN and for shopping and the leisure facilities were brilliant
The convenience to the station and MEN which is why we chose to stay there, its cleanliness was spot on and the bed and pillows were fantastic
Chosen only due to its relative comfort and city position. No redeeming features. Lack of breakfast - given the inflated city room price.
Bed and bedding comfortable. Perfect location for a visit to the MEM Arena The catering staff's inability to understand basic english, very difficult to communicate.
Central location and local transport links. Only 2 minutes walk to main shopping area. Breakfast was a bit disorganised. They regularly ran out of items such as bread, butter, marmalade, juices, cereals etc.
The location of the hotel for concerts in the MEN is excellent. Nice to be able to eat in the hotel late in the evening. Limited menu but what e had was good,
Excellant modern hotel. Friendly staff 1 person dealing with checking out on a sunday morning after a full hotel the night before due to a big concert
Location, and the quietness through the night
Loved the rooms and the tasty breakfast
I have stayed here several times, excellent location, top class facilities. only minor fault is prices in bar, but I guess this has to be expected given the location / hotel
Beautiful building, with a very grand reception area, good customer service in the bar and bedrooms very clean and comfortable. In the hallways there are pictures/collages of interesting facts about the hotel history. Not very personal (boutique style) more corporate style of hotel.
I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The Hotel itself is in a wonderful location for shopping.
Great location, beautifully renovated old building great Q hotels standard and very welcoming, highly trained staff that gave you service with a smile nothing was too much trouble we certainly were very well looked after during our stay Thankyou hotel did not accept our booking for dinner at £25 rate as advertised by yourselves but after staying there we realised this was probably due to the hotel being very busy that weekend with private functions other than this we had no complaints at all
Clean rooms and courteous staff
the room was amazing the price of swimming costumes was too expensive
Central location and beautiful christmas decorations Being unable to open a window for health and safety reasons. Air conditioning is noisy, un green and not as good as fresh air at night.
ther was noise from the next room after midnight and it took two phone calls to reception before the noise was stopped.
the receptionist Kirsty was excellent.
Completely comfoprtable and centrally located. Large room. Prices in Britain are high -- that is a fact of life -- and the Midland is expensive -- but I really am not complaining. It was proably the most comfortable hotel we stayed at in a 3 week visit to the UK.
Staff friendly. Radio in room was very poor.
Didn't get to stay there as the event we were attending was cancelled very belatedly.
Good room facilities, excellent bathroom, good location for shopping Conference facilities pleasant When checked in I was not told where to park in the car park so I ended up paying ncp parking charges Car park a bit lonely and passages to room very quiet and lonely for lone female
It was clean and comfy ,breakfast was very good plenty of choice ,and very handy being right in the centre of Manchester
comfort of the rooms and been handy for the shops
a black tie ball was held which we attended for the price we paid breakfast wes not included
The size of the room was excellent and the quiet bar for a drink late on. The bathrooms could do with modernising
Hotel site convenience. Pleasant staff. Breakfast.
The location is excellent for the MEN Arena, Arndale shopping etc.The reception staff were very helpful and friendly. Good secure car park. Procedure for collecting car park pass is difficult especially if arriving alone and having to park on double yellow lines. Sleep was disturbed from 4:00 - 5:30 in the morning; initially thought this was guests leaving; however it seemed to be staff talking too loudly with alot of door banging.
Ideal location for men and a little shopping, double beds were great.
it was close to all amenities in manchester resturant
helpful, friendly staff, lovely rooms, attention to detail in providing extras such as real hairdryer (not the wall type), ironing board/iron in room, iMac integrated entertainment system/pc
Friendly reception staff and great location. Food and service in the Dining Room (called City Cafe) is very poor and quite expensive. I booked a late check out for 5 pm and paid £30 for it, from 12 noon housekeeping tried to get into the room 5 times and eventually got security to come up to us. Very stressful and disappointing, it was so much hassle that I left the room early and forgot some of my stuff. I go to Manchester several times a year I will not be booking into this hotel again ( I stayed in this City Inn three times since Mar 2010 the last time in November 2010).
closeness to station and city centre, standard of room generally had to ask for more loo roll and no ashtray even though it was a smoking room
Bright, spacious; close to train station and city centre.
Very good breakfast if a little expensive Persistance of housekeeping and poor grasp of the english language of same. They kept knocking to service the room when I had said it was fine.
Close to train station shops bars staff very good.Bar area very pleansent and I would say not over priced Stayed for 3 nights but on the Sunday morning room did not get made up but saying this soon as it was pointed out room service was called and room made up
The check-in staff are always friending and the breakfast is quick. The carpets in the room are progressivly getting dirtier with stains, not good! Please have them cleaned, makes me question how clean everything else is.
Apple iMac in room. Free WiFi connection. Booking staff flexible. Breakfast good quality but (see below). Bright modern city centre hotel. Rather characterless. Paying extra for breakfast and even more if you require anything cooked then portions very small. Asked for mushrooms and received a single mushroom.
Good location, quiet, internet access, rooms had windows (a lot of neighbouring hotels don't!!!!). Staff were efficient and friendly. Room was clean. Nice soaps, etc. Recycled loo paper (I think). Would certainly stay here again- much better than the 2 hotels nearby that I have used before. No bottle-opener in the room, but bottles in the mini-bar mostly had caps! So you lost a sale there. A few signs at street level would have made it easier to find on foot in the dark- I walked round 2 sides of the building before identifying the entrance.
The double tree is a nice hotel at first glance. I found the staff at the front desk were not the most welcoming but that wasn't the biggest problem. The room was comfortable for the most part and me and my companion were looking foward to a nice stay. The shower had two choices, freeze or burn. It was nearly impossible to get the shower at a normal temperature which was a huge issue. But we were only there for 2 nights so decided it would be better to give it another try than moving rooms. On our second night which was a Saturday we were awoken at 4 am by a group of drunk girls that were screaming down the hallway. I felt like I was transported to the worst spring break all inclusive. I called the reception 3 times and in all fairness they came up every time to get those stupid girls to shut up. Then their guy friends came from the party minutes later and started retaliating to help their skanky girlfriends. They were standing outside of our door yelling obscenities. I called again and eventually the noise stopped but at that point I had one more hour before having to get on a train to the airport so my entire night was ruined. While they were definitely responsive to the times I called they should have kicked these people out. What kind of reputation do you want to have? I know that on my next visit to Manchester staying at the double tree and staying at the hatters is pretty much the same. If you want to maintain an upscale reputation then be more selective about who you let stay in you hotel or at the very least have your front staff make the rules clear when these drunken idiots tumble in through the door of your hotel.
Good location, right next to Picadilly Train Station. We stayed in a 2 bedroom apartment which was lovely,
Location, Loverly rooms, everything you need, great secure car park.
breakfast was good.convenient for the shops/shows/meals etc our room was in need of a re-vamp.it smelt fusty especiall in the lounge, this may have been the suite?. There was no dish cloth or washing up liquid. The breakfast room was too warm. I Ieft a phone charger there and rang to see if had been found but no one returned my call!.
The rooms were very spacious and clean, and the apartment was close to all of the main shops and bar areas.
The convenience of the location and the spaciousness of the apartment
Friendly staff and good service, clean rooms, central location
The penthouse appartment was amazing value.
lovely Decor in rooms bathroom was very claustophobic and not very clean
The holiday feel from having a room that overlooked the atrium with its palm trees. It was so quiet.
we took our in-laws with us they are in there 70s and the fact they where made up with there en-suite room made the weekend special for us we will definately be staying at the Place again.
very good hotel with perfect location specially if you have conference in Manchester Central there is no extending for the check out time
when staying at the hotel my boyfriend and i really enjoyed are selfs we went for my birthday and everyone at the hotel treated us like royalty and there nothing they didnt do for us! they made my birthday very special and memerable!! i would definatly recommed it to any one!
locatio and comfort my partner found on returning home , that some braceletts and bangles were missing from her bag . we did not complain as they were not of a great monetary value , but my [partner found this upsetting !!!! .
Superb hotel, amazing rooms No
We recieved a complimentary upgrade to executive class, which was fantastic as this was a Chritmas treat. Just a small quible but there were no tea making facilities in our room.
The Cloud Lounge I was rather cold in the room, and we could hear the lift going up and down during the night.
The views were spectacular. We could have spent the whole stay in the Cloud 23 bar. And every member of staff that we met were wonderful.
The room we were given was a room for the disabled, guessing that's why the room rate was better than the Hilton's web site price.
It was such a refreshing change to stay at a hotel where the attitude of the staff enhanced the stay. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful which is unfortunately not the case in most hotels.
The location is good for city centre bars and restaurants but it is easy to access from the motorway and parking is easy nearby I paid 249 pounds for one night in what I thought would be a luxury, exclusive hotel and it isn't. The room service breakfast was an insult.
The uniqueness of the property and excellent service were both a refreshing change and a great experience.
a wonderful hideaway in Alderley Edge, but within walking distance of many restaurants and shopping in the surrounding area. The suite was simply beautiful and the owner (Ian) could not have been more helpful Will be booking again.
Had a wonderful time at Wizard's Thatch. The suite was charming. Will stay longer next time.
It was absolutely chocolate box meets, four weddings and a funeral and the sumptuous luxury of the mini break in bridget jones' diary. The proximity to London Roads vibrant and cosmopolitan night life more than makes up for any absent room service.
everything was absolutly amazing and we wil definately be going back at some point. We wish we could live there permamently. Thank you very much!!
Lovely property - great if you are looking for something a bit different to a hotel. Fabulous location and very relaxing - highly recommended
The main thing about staying here is it is "different". It feels special and is a treat versus the usual nice hotel! Not really, although it has to be said that the rooms are quite small and cottage-like. The photographs give the impression of a much more spacious layout.
Spotless, more than one room, fresh flowers, comfortable bed, good tv Not a hotel but self catering rooms ina not a hotel but self catering accommodation in a pprivate house,no staff,no breakfast served, strong unpleasant smell, clutter, needs extra bedside table, poor parking facilities
the cottage was amazing. Totally unique experience, will definitely come back and will tell friends about it. Clean and warm with lots of interesting thingsto look at .
