Cons: I entered the Memphis Airport as the location to bet my car.
I was booked at an off-Airport location. Perhaps, I should have paid more attention, but as a location, I noted airport.
When I got to Hertz at the airport, appropriately, they did not have a reservation from me and would not recognize the off-site reservation.
I do not blame Hertz. I blame myself and I blame Kayak

Cons: My reservation was for a Hertz location off airport location that I could not get to unless I took a Taxi. This was not communicated to me when I booked on Kayak. I had to pay Avis $135.00 for a car. This is Bullshit.

Memphis Sonic Drive
Pros: From the moment I walked in, I was met by a smile and a friendly greeting. Very easy and hassle free experience and got a 2016, not a bad thing at all!

Cons: Nothing, customer service extremely bad, the front desk clerk was very rude and unprofessional . The car was dirty. Really bad experience.

Cynthia must be an angel
Pros: Agent did everything possible - located and updated my Gold credentials, straightened out my pickup/dropoff location, bought my car to the office door, stowed my bags, even plugged my cell phone in the lighter socket. My flight from FLL had been delayed by @4 hrs and I was tired. Thanks to Cynthia I was able to get to Hot Springs AR in time for my appointment and hotel checkin.

Pros: Miss T at the Hurtz location on Winchester Rd in Memphis, TN was absolutely great. She made renting here so easy and I will definitely rent from them again because of her wonderful customer service.

Cons: Arrived at airport rental desk and no car available. Told me it would be at least an hour before there was a car. Yes I was 1 1/2 hours late (flight due in at 4:00 and didn't arrive until 5:30), but that should be expected at an airport facility. I ended up with a $30+ cab fare to one of the other Hertz locations no the southeast side of the city of Memphis so that I could get on my way rather than being even later to my job interview.

Cons: The entire experience was horrible and could not get appropriate help. Got the run around

Pick up location
Pros: Car ran well.
Cons: Pick up was not at the airport but a nearly $40 taxi ride away. Website should clearly identify this situation. The low rental cost increased 20% with this additional fare. Fortunately, Hertz charged much less for drop off at the airport than the return taxi fee would have been.

Pros: im a hertz gold club member, and booked with Hertz at lest 12-15 trips. i've never had an issue until this rental.
Cons: the rental pickup location didn't actually have an operating Hertz lot anymore. i had to fight rush hour traffic to get there, only to find this was the case. Customer service was a challenge at first. I had to speak to 3 different people to finally get to the online rentals rep. she honored my rate, but i ad to drive an extra hour out of my way to pickup the car. I was given a Prius, when I ordered a midsize vehicle. i assume this was how the airport location made up for the difference in the daily rate. That car was too small for me.
Pros: My reservation was for 6pm. I called and made them aware I was on my way due to my ride arriving late , guy says well take care of you when you arrive. got there at about 6:10 and the door was locked. The person at the counter just stood there not even acknowledging I was at the door so I never got the rental.
Cons: That I was ignored this was a very important trip concerning my future and I missed it.
