Chevy Suburban, the Ford Expedition Max alarm system was going off middle of night for no reason. They could have used my debit card to charge like I asked them to.

Staff was very friendly. Car was in great condition and clean.

Cons:

I had a late night flight and the had to walk a ways into the poorly lit parking lot to get my rental car once it was rented. Maybe have the cars moved closer to the terminal especially for late night arrivals.

pickup us was easy, we decided to change cars before we left and the counter staff was very helpful. Drop off in another state at the airport usper easy!

I was bummed they didn’t have a clean car ready when I reserved one in advance. I did get a free upgrade on a dirty vehicle which was great. Drop off in Belgrade was amazing, just had to pull up and leave the keys inside. I don’t love EV’s but the car upgrade was fun because the sound system was good and the car had lumbar support.

It was generally good but the car had an expired California number plate and the control console was not checked beforehand. For example, some maintenance work was needed according to a yellow light and the tire pressure was not checked before renting the car to me! That is something I would expect to be done. And last but not least; the car was absolutely dirty outside (I had to bring it to a car wash first) and no vacuuming was done inside. The car itself was great but the service prior to handing out the car to me could have been better….

I had confirmed reservations at a specific time. Was told I would have to what several hours for a vehicle as they had none of my confirmed reservations vehicles. I asked for any vehicle and was told there were no others. The customer service at the counter was horrid. The manager seemed to be the only one doing anything to help customers at the counter. A confirmed reservation should mean the vehicle is there and ready. We waited 1.5hrs attempting to find another option.🤬😭

Staff member at Great Falls Budget counter was rude and disrespectful. First car broke down on freeway only 19 miles from airport. . Roadside assistance was good but exchange service back at airport was terrible. Again I was treated by same rude employee making me feel like problem was my fault. Employee made me initial paper taking vehicle as is. . Replacement car was dirty, smelled of cigarette smoke, and the tire pressure and change oil lights came on during the trip. I had tires checked and filled to correct PSI during trip. My elderly mother who has COPD had to breathe in the smoke smell our entire trip. While initial Kayak reservation experience was great, the Budget was not. As a result I will not use Budget again.

The Budget service person told me that the car I had requested had not been cleaned but was full of gas. I confirmed that it was a full sized sedan and asked what an upgrade would cost. Response was no additional cost and gave me a 4-Runner. It had 5600 miles on it and displayed a message that it "required an oil change". It smelled as if someone had smoked in it too. Because I was up against a time issue and there were people waiting for me to pick them up I took the vehicle. Appreciate the upgrade but having the warning message made me nervous as I had to drive the unit from Great Falls to Bozeman. It worked fine and there didn't appear to be any issues when I dropped off the vehicle. They shouldn't be sending our units needing service.

Quick and easy. No one goes to the vehicle with you to chk it out they give you an outline of a vehicle with marks on it for damage and tell you to chk it out and bring it to their attention if there's more as well as is it dirty and make sure the tanks full. On return again no one checks out the vehicle and I was asked what the ending mileage was, I had to go get it.
