There didn't seem to be much organization. I arrived a little later than my reservation and it took an hour to get my vehicle. I assume everyone there has a reservation because it was not close to the airport so there was no reason it should have taken so long. The vehicle I reserved was not there/ not available so they switched vehicles on me. Not a big deal until I opened the door and saw stains all over the seats, drivers side, passenger side and in the back seat. Cleanest looking part of the vehicle was the trunk. To be clear, it wasn't dirty just stained. Seat covers maybe? The staff was nice so no problem there. They also offered to let me return the vehicle half full instead of a full tank because they had to switch vehicles on me. All in all not terrible but could have been more efficient.

This is the single worst experience I have ever had renting a car, and sadly it was the same experience for all the other unfortunate people that fell for this scam. I WILL NEVER USE KAYAK AGAIN. You should be ashamed of yourselves for misleading consumers. Easirent is not a legitimate business.

Pros:

I prepaid for a Hertz rental car for our 5 day vacation. However when we arrived to the rental location, there were no cars available. The Hertz staff were unhelpful and did nothing to remedy the situation besides giving me the Hertz phone number. In short we lost money and time and gained nothing from the experience except the wisdom to never book through Kayak again.

Pros:

There was absolutely nothing to like, from pickup to rental period to customer service, everything was a hassle and Hertz was completely unhelpful.

Cons:

The car was in no condition to drive. There was noises coming out of the dashboard that got louder as I accelerated and it was so loud in the cabin that my wife and I had to scream. The washer fluid ran out after an hour on my way to New Mexico. The journey was horrible and Hertz in New Mexico did not have a car for me to swap at 4 locations. It wasted our vacation time and we had to cut our trip short to return back whilst enduring the noises for 12 hours, stopping on the way several times to check the car.

Budget called a day before to inform that all cars were sold out and cancelled the rental . Then on the day of the rental they called to inform they now have a car available. Very unreliable to rent if you have solid plans for the day . Also they overcharged
