I had no problem changing cars. The first one that I got had problem with slow leak in one of the tires. Later when I had to extend the rental period due to rescheduled flights (by the airline), I had to call more than 3 times because no-one answered those calls and no agent returned my calls despite leaving a message and my phone number. We did not even get a car. I thoroughly read the fine print on the website, that clearly stated that a 'credit or debit card in the renters name must be presented'..no problem! My husband & I have chosen to get rid of our credit cards as we no longer desire living in debt, so as an added step of assurance after booking, I called the number listed on the site. I was very clear that I would be picking the car up in Halifax Nova Scotia, which is obviously in Canada. The booking number I provided also would show that my location was in Canada. The gentleman reassured me multiple times that I would NOT need a credit card to pick up the car. We head to the airport to pick up the car (over $120 is wasted taxi money!!) only to be told that a credit card is required. When I advised the clerk of my conversation with the Enterprise rep on the phone, she simply stated 'oh, that's only ìn the United States'. Absolutely ridiculous that a company as huge as Enterprise cannot figure out how to properly separate the 2 countries on their website. Something as simple as 'Click here for CDN', nevermind the fact that I actually spoke with a paid employee of a continent-wide company who doesn't seem to know basic Geography. Thankfully there are now apps for personal car rentals from people who do not discriminate against those of us who choose to live debt free. If you are going to have different rules for different countries, then make that crystal clear & stop misleading innocent people. If I ever do get a credit card in the future, I certainly won't be using Enterprise to rent a car.Reviewed Aug 15 2022

The tires were over inflated and loose. We could have died. We were left stranded and in place of the spare was a piece of foam in the shape of a tire. They do not safety check these vehicles. When I complained they got defensive instead of telling me they would look into it.Reviewed Jul 5 2022

Cons:Unfortunately the car was extremely hard on fuel despite asking for an economy. I drove only 60 km on the highway with no traffic and it cost over $20 to refuel. The car did not run well, you could feel it shifting every gear like there was something wrong with it and it was an automatic. Other than that, it was okay.
