The car was great - a new minivan in excellent condition. We reserved a toddler car seat but then noticed in the reservation confirmation that “additional charges could apply.” I called to see how much they would be, since we could check a car seat for free on our flight, and was told that the charges for the car seat were “already included” in the rate that we had. But when we got to the Enterprise desk, we were told they were not and we had to pay an additional $35. This was rather annoying. The line at the airport was SUPER slow, and then it took a while for them to find the car seat and it took us an extra long time to get it attached since the hook locations in the mini van were not obvious. But, aside from that, everything went smoothly and we do recommend Enterprise as a company.

Counter staff were very helpful. Upgrade was super!! New car was very high tech. Would have been helpful to have owners guide to figure out how to operate some features. Otherwise the car was very fun to drive and very economical.

We reserved from an off airport site to get a better rate. Took a taxi from the airport to the Enterprise location and they were closed due to covid. We couldn’t reach anyone by phone so went on to our hotel. Finally reached someone later in the day and they said they didn’t have my phone number or they would have contacted me. Funny I provided phone and email when I made the res. They said we could pick up our car at the airport location. Had to take taxi back to the airport. There and back cost $80.

I didn't like anything. You guys should be ashamed. A death in the family prevented us from taking our trip....not that anyone in your organization cares. Phone numbers provided went unanswered when dialed...then disconnected. You're only mandate appears to be making money at the expense of customers and making sure they get a total runaround when trying to salvage a horrific personal tragedy. Way to go Kayak. You made a couple hundred bucks on this one and you didn't even have to provide a service...way to go! I shall never use Kayak, or Hertz again for anything, and neither will my large extended family. I will implore as many people as I can influence not to use you.

Disappointing. The car broke down on the side of the highway 3.5 hours into a 14 hour drive. The roadside assistance department couldn’t come up with a solution any sooner than 6 hours of waiting on the roadside. I self-rescued and after securing a refund, Avis customer service did nothing to make up for the fact that their primary charter of renting a safe reliable car failed and had no compassion or interest in making up for the inconvenience and delays.

We had to wait in line for 3 hours to get our reserved rental car only to get more awful service and moved to a Tahoe which didn’t fit our family and luggage. Was then told we would get a discount which didn’t happen. Now I get to waste more time on the phone with Avis trying to get this figured out. If you are renting from the Destin/Fort Walton airport location….BEWARE!!

The car wasn’t ready. We had to wait an hour for them to clean it and when we got to the car, it wasn’t even clean—there was sand all over the floor still. Customer service was poor too. No one to greet us at drop off to make sure the rental was good or anything. As a preferred customer, we were not pleased with our experience.

I had a reservation for a 15 passenger van for a bachelorette trip on September 5th-9th at your VPS airport location. When we arrived we were given keys to a minivan not realizing until we went to the vehicle that it was not what we originally reserved. We went back to speak with your representative and was told that the van we reserved was in maintenance and was not available. The representative did offer to void our reservation but left 10 people with their luggage stranded without offering another vehicle or maybe offering 2 vehicles for us to be able to continue our trip. We had to scramble to find new transportation and it put a damper on the start of our trip. It was a horrible experience with your company. We ended up having to pay double the money with another company in order to proceed. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Dollar did fine except when I rented the vehicle (large, 8-passenger van) I attempted to add drivers, but the rental clerk (very busy!) said it was not possible. Something about not on my original rental request. That caused me personal problems during the week. The vehicle I got was clean and comfortable, and had pretty decent leg space for my passengers.

The rental was not clean and even had ants… We dropped it off early. Additionally, even though we dropped it off the same day the reservation has not been closed out, so we are getting daily pending changes on our credit card (currently on day 4 of this madness).
